Absolutely perfect for a snack between meals. The kibbelings are great and the prices are absolutely reasonable. Combined with the chip shop, it's ideal for families with children. There's also ice cream, restrooms, and a covered area.

Seafood right behind the dike. Kibbeling or the mix plate are recommended. Unfortunately no German map (or English one), but German is spoken. Seating is available (outside). Parking diagonally opposite. It was delicious, would love to come back.

They have some really tasty bickering here. The dough crust is not thick, large pieces with fish. And it's not expensive for what you get.

That was the worst kibbeling I've ever eaten. Too much and too greasy breading. Too bad for the fish. The best kibbeling is in Breskens at Gabi's and in Eygelshoven at the Saturday market.

For me the best Kibberling on Zeeland

In my opinion, these are the best kibbelings in Zeeland that are offered here. They taste super fresh and delicious. The seating there is also great with lots of benches and tables where you can almost always find a seat. In my opinion the price-performance ratio is high, but you also get something very tasty. All in all great 👍

It used to be some of the best fish you could get at a snack bar in Zeeland and I've been going there regularly for years. It's still good, but maybe you pay a little more attention to freshness and quality, the last portions of Kibbeling had some very fishy morsels, whatever that happens. When it comes to the prices that are being quoted for the sauces, you should consider how satisfied you, as your own guests, would be with the bang for your buck, plus they've become more expensive! And boy, didn't you seriously empty a cleaning bucket down the drain in front of the store, splashing dirt all over your shoes and on your shirt, and then show up behind the counter in the same clothes *choke*? Update 10.2024: Credit cards are no longer accepted, but it has become even more expensive 2 > 1 star In the meantime we also tried out the “Visspecialist Wachters” (4.8*), everything was fine, so let’s go there now.

The kibbeling was fine, sauce a bit mediocre. The girl sitting next to me who also had a bowl of kibbeling had much more sauce than us.

The kibbeling was very tasty and fresh. Didn't taste like frozen. And the shrimp with the sweet and sour sauce were great. I can only recommend it to everyone.

We have known the fish shop for many years, but we were not so happy with our last purchase. We ordered Kibbeling to take away. When we unpacked the fish, the breading was relatively dark and the breading made the kibbeling taste like it had been fried several times. Sometimes there were pieces that barely contained a piece of fish, just breading. It's a shame, actually, we were used to better quality from last year. We cannot recommend the Kibbeling and as can be read in other reviews. Breading with fish flavor, as unfortunately there was hardly any fish. We received better quality in the area.

Don't like to give negative reviews. Service was friendly, quality of the fish products was very good. A big disappointment, however, were the sauces, which basically ruined the whole fish experience. No matter whether garlic, cocktail or another sauce... They all tasted extremely artificial. My grandmother used to say that you can tell a good restaurant by the salad dressing. Unfortunately, ready-made sauces of this poor quality have no place in the catering industry. Please please... make the effort and produce your own hot sauces! It shouldn't be that difficult. Valuable mayo base, squeeze in a squeeze of lemon, garlic, salt and pepper to taste and you're done. Cocktail? Mayo, ketchup, a little salt and a splash of cognac and you're done.

As always, the fish tasted very good.

Helaas, viel wat tegen. Net wat te zout. Ik heb betere gegeten. Jammer! Ook de korst was vetter en donkerder dan verwacht. Bediening was zeer vriendelijk en vlot. Je kunt er ook buiten, overdekt je bestelling opeten.

Toch wel een van de lekkerste kibbeling die ik ooit heb gegeten. Zeer ruime portie, met goede saus. Vriendelijke bediening, die hard werken. Dat alles op een toplocatie, op loopafstand van het strand. Wat wil een mens nog meer?

Highly recommended. We had kibbelinge and fried mussels and special fries. The fish specialties are on the left. Fries, Frikandel, soft ice cream... on the right. Everyone was super friendly and the food was very, very tasty. Absolute recommendation from us.

Small selection of fish and seafood (kibbeling, mussels, shrimps, various fish rolls, fried fish fillets). Plus a selection of dips/sauces. Unfortunately no salads. And no fries either. They're available in the shop opposite, so you have to queue again. However, the shop has a lot of visitors and you can eat outside at several seating areas. Friendly service behind the counter.

Kibbeling and lLekkerbeck have been a tradition to eat in this snack bar for over thirty years when we are here on vacation 👍

We like to eat here. The price-performance ratio is great. The fish dishes are always fresh and delicious. Our favorite is the fried fish. You choose the fresh pollock yourself. Only then is it prepared and fried. There is also a live cam here.

Great seafood snack in the middle of Westkapelle. The staff are very friendly and helpful. Our cod was absolutely delicious and perfectly fried. We thought the price was fair for fresh fish. The only thing that was a shame was that the chip shop of the same name was still closed. But even without fries, the fish was bomb. We will be back.

We were there and ate a large portion of Kibbelinge with two people. It was definitely a BIG portion!!! The food: The kibbles tasted very good! As already mentioned, it was a really big portion. There is absolutely nothing to say about the price of just under €18. Unfortunately you don't get any fries there. You would have to get it from the fast food restaurant opposite. But you can get drinks at both. Service: It is a fast food restaurant, so there was only limited service. The service was very friendly and we got the food relatively quickly. The ambience: The fast food restaurant is located directly on the dunes and makes a modern, tidy and clean impression from the outside and inside. As already mentioned, there is a fast food restaurant directly opposite which also serves typical Dutch dishes such as Bratrolle special or burgers, etc. In the middle of the two fast food restaurants there is a covered dining area where you can eat your food. The entire place is worth visiting and not just for the food. You can also see something steeped in history there, such as: B. a tank and a few explanations about the liberation of the area by the Allies in WWII. ⭐⭐⭐⭐⭐
