Locale scovato per caso.. avevamo finito la visita alla casa di Anna Frank e nei pressi abbiamo trovato questo posto molto accogliente,una location rustica , autentica,coi giusti attribuiti per essere definita una steak house. Abbiamo avuto a che fare credo col titolare dell'attività,una persona decisa ma calorosa,paziente con me che parlo un pessimo inglese. Abbiamo preso un filetto alla brace con contorno di patatine fritte e una zuppa squisita di verdure e due Heineken. Il posto non è raffinato(e lo preferisco),ma è essenziale ed autentico Ve lo consiglio

This was a subpar place. I read reviews before going and thought that this was going to be much better than anticipated. Steak didn’t have a lot of flavor and for the price (ordered small aka regular portion) would have expected a bit more. Staff was very friendly though.

Very good restaurant where the price-performance ratio is right. Very tasty steaks and other South American dishes. You also sit in a cozy atmosphere. Definitely worth a visit.

Our family went to Belgium, Germany, France, then the Netherlands, where we found this restaurant. Best food we had in Europe. Everything we ordered was amazing. We tried the soup, ribs, sirloin, and tenderloin. I recommend the tiramisu for dessert if you're fond of sweets with alcohol.

We were just walking by and stopped to look at the menu, and the owner came out and convinced us to try it. The steak and shishkebab were fantastic, great fries and bread, and a wonderful glass of wine. Highly recommend!

Must visit when you're in Amsterdam. Angelo is a very charming host and the food is awesome. Lamb cutlet is a must try here.

As a Uruguayan it was a pleasure to find this place to dine in Amsterdam and eat a River Plate-style meat after several days of eating mediocre food. I found quality, well-prepared meat and not a scam for tourists.

Great food with an amazing owner. We were immediately greeted with an "Hola" by the owner and it continued in this friendly manner. We got spicy spare ribs with mushrooms, corn, and mixed vegetables and there was nothing bad there. The spare ribs were obviously the star and the meat was amazingly tender and lackered with a sticky, spicy sauce, but the spiciness wasn't too much, and it let the meat shine through. An easy recommend for a nice grill experience.

Food was just ok. Service was bad, the guy was kind of rude and we were not even finished with the food when he rushed the check. Definitely not a good experience.

I tried really hard with my review, but unfortunately it wasn't published. So it's a little simpler: the food was very expensive for the result and the sanitary facilities were filthy, I can't put it into other words. Extremely tight, liquids and hair on the floor, sparks at the sink.

I see that the reviews are quite good, but we rated this restaurant a maximum of 3. The food was ordinary and the price was quite high. The toilet definitely needs renovation, old and shabby. The salad contained the base of a tomato; it looked rather unaesthetic and unappetizing. At that time there were only 2 tables occupied, the service could have been much better. Is it possible to rate this as a five?

The lady who serves is very rude, she did not mention to us that the garlic bread she offered us was going to cost us 8 euros!! They were just ordinary bread, then when paying he got upset because we couldn't pay with cash, he reluctantly brought the machine to pay by card, I don't recommend it at all, if you don't want to have a bad time.

We were there at Pentecost and came across the restaurant by chance! It was small but very nice! The boss is super friendly, accommodating and funny on top of that!😊 The meal from the 4 of us was very tasty!👍 We had ribs where the meat didn't stick to the bone and I had steak (medium), which was really medium, not too well done and not too bloody and the meat was very tender and not stringy! The ambience is very nice, the toilets are very small but you can deal with that! The overall package is very good! I can only recommend it to everyone and I would definitely eat there again if I were in the area again! By the way, price-performance ratio also fits! 👍👍👍 We had a lot of fun and joy eating there!☺

Fun and cozy steakhouse, right in front of the Westermarkt, the owner is very involved and friendly with the service. I enjoyed the spicy spareribs, although they were not really spicy I could still enjoy them, the food is just fine, nothing crazy but enjoyable nevertheless. If you wish for a nice meaty meal option I can recommend Mendoza!

Het is een klein, maar gezellig restaurant in de buurt van het Anne Frank Huis dat we net hadden bezocht. De bediening is vriendelijk en met humor. Er is voldoende keuze aan vleesgerechten. De prijs is gemiddeld maar prima in verhouding tot de kwaliteit van het eten. Het restaurant is een aanrader voor tweetallen of een gezin. Het is wel verstandig om te reserveren in het weekend.

Starter and mains were truly delicious, if you pass this restaurant you should absolutely try it. Highly recommend

This is a great, casual restaurant with very friendly service! We stopped in without a reservation (yes, it was early) and were greeted with warm exuberance. We ordered the mixed grill for two and it was amazing! The portions were generous and a salad and steak fries (a staple in the Netherlands) were also included. It was a great value! We also had a local Heineken on tap, so that capped off a wonderful meal!

Such a great little restaurant serving amazing steaks! I'm a steak lover which makes me very picky, but this place didn't disappoint! We had ribeyes with fries and salad, and the pepper sauce was soooo good! Service was super friendly, I'll definitely come back when I visit again in July!
