We had a wonderful time with the family last night. The owner was lovely. The meal was excellent; I highly recommend it.

My group and I visited this fantastic restaurant after a close by museum. The server was sooo patient when our group of 11 rowdy Americans came in. Very attentive. Drinks came quickly and the food all arrived hot and at the same time (hard to do with 11 meals). Best of all,.... the food was great!

Picked Mendoza's off of Google maps. menu looked like it would have something for everyone in our family. We were greeted warmly when we got there. The food did NOT disappoint. It is a very small place. seats maybe 25 people. Great atmosphere. We sat at the open front wall and watched people and enjoyed the view of church across the street.

20 years ago I went to Arientina and ate asado. I thought it was the best meat in the world. Now, 20 years later, I came to Amsterdam and happened to be walking by and they sold Argentine meat, so I went in and ate it. It was so delicious that I vaguely remember it. The quality of the meat is very good.

He's an Argentinian. We ordered a grilled meat for two that cost over 60 euros, and all the meat was very dry. And it was small. I honestly didn't like it at all.

Genuinely so happy I found this place! My partner and I just finished the Lovers canal tour and wanted to eat somewhere close by. This place was perfect! Excellent service from a jovial and kind gentleman, the beers arrived promptly and were perfect for the warm weather, our food was piping hot, cooked to our preference and good portion sizes! The restaurant cleared out as we ate so the atmosphere dipped, other than that no negatives! 😄👌🏼

overrated: Because the rating was 4.5 we had too high expectations. The meat quality is average. The sauces don't look or taste fresh. Have to pay extra for it which is a joke.. The veggies come from the freezer. Fair rating: 4.0

We visited Amsterdam for 4 days and the 2 days of them we spent them having lunch at Mendoza Restaurant. We really loved the food (especially the meat and the fired sweet potatoes) and of course the hospitality!!! Cant wait to visit Amsterdam again and definitely to have lunch there!!! 😊😊😋

I was there with my mother and sister, it was pure coincidence that we stopped in front of this shop. The owner came out and politely invited us in. The food was great, the wine was tasty and the service was excellent. We stayed until closing time because it was cozy and fun. The owner made a lot of jokes and spoiled us with little gifts, greetings to Angelo and many thanks

Locale scovato per caso.. avevamo finito la visita alla casa di Anna Frank e nei pressi abbiamo trovato questo posto molto accogliente,una location rustica , autentica,coi giusti attribuiti per essere definita una steak house. Abbiamo avuto a che fare credo col titolare dell'attività,una persona decisa ma calorosa,paziente con me che parlo un pessimo inglese. Abbiamo preso un filetto alla brace con contorno di patatine fritte e una zuppa squisita di verdure e due Heineken. Il posto non è raffinato(e lo preferisco),ma è essenziale ed autentico Ve lo consiglio

This was a subpar place. I read reviews before going and thought that this was going to be much better than anticipated. Steak didn’t have a lot of flavor and for the price (ordered small aka regular portion) would have expected a bit more. Staff was very friendly though.

Very good restaurant where the price-performance ratio is right. Very tasty steaks and other South American dishes. You also sit in a cozy atmosphere. Definitely worth a visit.

Our family went to Belgium, Germany, France, then the Netherlands, where we found this restaurant. Best food we had in Europe. Everything we ordered was amazing. We tried the soup, ribs, sirloin, and tenderloin. I recommend the tiramisu for dessert if you're fond of sweets with alcohol.

We were just walking by and stopped to look at the menu, and the owner came out and convinced us to try it. The steak and shishkebab were fantastic, great fries and bread, and a wonderful glass of wine. Highly recommend!

As a Uruguayan it was a pleasure to find this place to dine in Amsterdam and eat a River Plate-style meat after several days of eating mediocre food. I found quality, well-prepared meat and not a scam for tourists.

Great food with an amazing owner. We were immediately greeted with an "Hola" by the owner and it continued in this friendly manner. We got spicy spare ribs with mushrooms, corn, and mixed vegetables and there was nothing bad there. The spare ribs were obviously the star and the meat was amazingly tender and lackered with a sticky, spicy sauce, but the spiciness wasn't too much, and it let the meat shine through. An easy recommend for a nice grill experience.

I tried really hard with my review, but unfortunately it wasn't published. So it's a little simpler: the food was very expensive for the result and the sanitary facilities were filthy, I can't put it into other words. Extremely tight, liquids and hair on the floor, sparks at the sink.

I see that the reviews are quite good, but we rated this restaurant a maximum of 3. The food was ordinary and the price was quite high. The toilet definitely needs renovation, old and shabby. The salad contained the base of a tomato; it looked rather unaesthetic and unappetizing. At that time there were only 2 tables occupied, the service could have been much better. Is it possible to rate this as a five?
