Io ed il mio amico avevamo voglia di cenare a base di carne...buona carne ed abbiamo prenotato in questa steakhouse argentina. Posso dire subito che la carne era di ottima qualità accompagnata poi da una buona birra argentina. Personale cortese e gentile che parlava anche un po' di spagnolo; prezzi ragionevoli. Mi ha lasciato una buona impressione. Da provare.

Abbiamo prenotato in questo ristorante dopo aver letto qualche recensione che parlava bene sia del cibo che del servizio ……inspiegabile per quanto mi riguarda ! Nonostante il ristorante fosse per più della metà vuoto abbiamo aspettato 40 minuti per l’ordinazione e un’ ora per le pietanze . Abbiamo dovuto richiedere più volte le Bevande perché non ci erano state portate e le posate per iniziare a mangiare. Servizio sgradevole e al limite dell’igiene . Un conto finale enormemente al di sopra del pessimo servizio e della qualità del cibo mangiato . Abbiamo fatto notare il nostro disappunto e il proprietario è stato del tutto sgradevole al limite del maleducato . Consiglio: evitare !!!!

Cozy restaurant in Amsterdam downtown. We went there spontaneously. Good was good, but nothing too special. Prices are okay However service can be improved. The waiter at the evening we visited the restaurant was almost alone and very busy/uncoordinated. While taking our order, he stopped and served other people or took their order. He was annoyed when we asked again if we could complete our order. We did not feel welcomed. Maybe the service is better if you come there on another day, which is not that busy

Absolutely not recommended; there are clearly scammers at work here. We booked through TheFork, which included a 50% discount. When we tried to pay, they said it wasn't possible, that there was a system error, and we should sort it out through TheFork. They told us no, they should have sorted it out through the restaurant itself. So now we're stuck with over €100 that we were cheated out of. Absolutely unprofessional behavior and I don't recommend this. Naturally, they didn't respond to our inquiries.

Terrible experience! The waiter is completely insane. I thought it was a scene for the caught. The Fork discounts are not applied correctly. Only on some dishes and if everyone chooses a main course. Appetizers and such don't have a discount. For example, if you decide to order appetizers that don't have a discount and only one dish to share, the manager won't let you. The prices on the list are also different from those shown in the app. They must think people are stupid. The meat wasn't bad, but it was a ruined holiday dinner. If you use Fork, it's a real scam; you should be kicked off the app. Run away! Worst experience I've ever had with The Fork. 😔

Os descontos não são aplicados por quem vai pelo The Fork, só são em alguns pratos principais, os preços também são diferentes dos da aplicação. A pior experiência que já tive pelo The Fork que é uma ótima aplicação. Deviam ser expulsos da aplicação. A carne até não era má. Mas tudo o resto foi para esquecer. Jantar de férias estragado! The empanadas and bread/butter were great but the rest was average and for the price not really worth it. The redeeming factor is that the waiter, Mario, works hard and is super nice, taking time to talk with you. He truly made our meal experience less frustrating.

My wife and I had a fantastic dinner at La Luna. They provided great service to us. The rib eye steak I had was cooked to perfection. My wife had the grilled shrimp was also cooked to perfection. Overall a great experience.

The dishes were well-finished and elegant. Very good food. The staff was very friendly and kind.

Near the famous Leidsplein, in the middle of the nightlife, restaurants, bars. We sat outside, even if it was a bit cool, warmed by the outside mushroom. The owner is very fussy with pleasantries. Very slow service. The coke paid 3.90 was already poured into a glass and completely empty of gas. The meat arrived cold, they kindly took the plate back to reheat it. The bread with garlic butter and the Argentinean sausages as appetizers were good. The house wine by the carafe for a price of 25 euros was a bit exaggerated... mixed grill ok as well as the t-bone. Booked with the fork with the discount that at the time of payment was absolutely not applied. I would not return... also because for 4 people the bill of 191 euros was excessive compared to the quality of the dinner.

Attended 29th May 2025. After another steakhouse on the same road let us down, I can say with certainty this place saved our evening. The host was warm, friendly and full of energy, really showed he was passionate with his work. Sat us on a table for 2 just by the entrance, with a recommended Malbec which was fantastic with our meal. I had a fillet steak, and my partner had the sirloin, both cooked perfectly medium rare. (Even included a surprise sparkler for my birthday). All n all, this guy needs more business, it’s criminal he’s not got more. If and when I return to Amsterdam, I will be visiting again.

I ordered bread with butter and garlic, fries, and a steak with pepper sauce on the side — everything was so delicious. They even offered me some Argentinian chimichurri sauce, which was a really nice touch. The waiter was incredibly kind and helpful, helped me choose my dish, and checked in on me just the right amount. And at the end athey offered me a lollipop 😋 Such a warm and tasty experience! Will definitely go back when I’m in Amsterdam again.

What a delicious meal! The tenderloin was perfectly cooked, large in size and good in taste. Mario takes the order himself with passion and also bakes it, clearly he likes perfection. We will definitely come back again.

Delicious entrecote. Perfectly cooked steak (rare) and delicious salty fries. We were served at our beck and call. The ladies had the rump steak. Everyone satisfied. There is nice music in the background.

We ate a delicious rump steak and entrecote here. 200 grams was really 200 grams (or maybe more) and the pepper sauce was very tasty with the steak! Really try! I really wanted my steak to be very rare and it turned out great! I often find that they still don't do it right at restaurants. Cheers! We also had a nice time with nice salsa and bachata music and the owner is the sweetest man EVER. He attended to our every need and made us feel very special. Thank you very much!

We stumbled upon it by chance on New Year's Eve and it was a great surprise. The meat was very good, the Argentinian wine was excellent and the staff were very helpful. The owner Mario was particularly attentive to our needs, kind and very nice. We came back because it's worth it. The VS cognac recommended by Mario is excellent Highly recommended

We entered the "La Luna" restaurant on the evening of 12/31 without a reservation. The owner Mario welcomed us and made us sit in a very friendly and warm way. We ate Argentinian meat, quality, fresh and good, excellently cooked, with good side dishes too. The location was very nice, welcoming and clean. We returned for another evening despite the many clubs in the area. Recommended for all those who love meat.

Food very tasty, staff very friendly, allowed to try different sauces. Dogs are welcome, the only thing in the restaurant wasn't that warm. Would love to come back.

I ended up here via The Fork. It is near the Leidse Plein The food was delicious and because I had to leave on time, the service was faster. When it is busy, you may have to wait quite a long time as there are only 2 people working, 1 in the kitchen and 1 in service.

Serveur très gentil mais arnaque convenablement avec sa gentillesse. On commande 2 cocas zéros (6€ pièce pour un coca servi au verre et presque plat), guacamole acide (on a fait la remarque mais sur la note, aucun geste) , on prend chacun un rib eye et là la magie opère… vous prenez de la salade, des frites? Bam, petite salade insipide à 7,50€ et 10 frites à 9€! la viande était bonne mais pas non plus exceptionnelle. Bref, j’aurais préféré qu’il augmente le prix de la viande que nous faire payer frites et salade en supplément. Dégoûtés de se faire arnaquer en beauté.

Food was DELICIOUS. Friendly service, nice tent to meet up with family and friends. Definitely worth repeating. I forgot to take pictures of my dishes because of the fun. As a starter I had two empanadas de carne (pastries with meat), and the main course was the Plato Porteno. Well prepared!

Alguien en mi equipo sería una buena idea tener la cena justo en el centro de Amsterdam, así que nos fuimos. La selección de los elementos del menú eran alimentos, y también mi bistec. No estaba tan ocupado y en algún momento me di cuenta de que el personal estaba parado frente al restaurante hablando con los transeúntes y tratando de que comieran. Para mí, eso es un absoluto apagado, ya que me niego a comer en restaurantes donde el personal está afuera con tarjetas de menú para atraer a la gente. En general fue una buena experiencia, pero la “gente atractiva en la cosa” fue una gran molestia, ya que no creo que comer en restaurantes que hace esta práctica.

We booked based on Trip Advisor recommendations and it did not disappoint. Steak was absolutely phenomenal, by far the nicest Ive had. Its on a busy little street with lots of other restaurants, it was very quiet when we arrived but so glad we didn't walk past. If we had found it the first night we would have been back for the last night!

The owner is very friendly, hospitable, and is happy to provide additional information about the menu. The entrecote is tender, has a good taste, is cooked perfectly as desired, and is very good value for money. Highly recommended! The chimmichurri is also very good.

Meat was perfect . Side dishes were very small and basic, but priced too high. 200ml if water at 4eur? You must be joking. So service is nice, but you get the feeling they are robbing you. I usually tip generously. This time I left nothing.

With all due respect, those that gave a five star review must not have ever eaten a proper steak. I recently dined at La Luna, and unfortunately, the experience left much to be desired, particularly regarding the quality of the steaks. I ordered the sirloin steak, which turned out to be incredibly tough and essentially inedible. Even with the sharpest knife, it was a struggle to cut through, and the flavor was far from what one would expect at this price point. My companion ordered the filet steak, and while we were hopeful it would fare better, it was served cold in the middle. Not only was it underwhelming in flavor, but the uneven cooking made it nearly impossible to enjoy. Adding to the disappointment, out of the four tables in the dining area, two tables, including ours, complained about the food. As an apology for the bad steaks, those two tables were given complimentary shots of alcohol. While the gesture was appreciated, it didn’t fully make up for the subpar dining experience. Overall, the ambiance and service were fine, but the quality of the food, particularly the steaks, fell far short of expectations. I hope the restaurant can address these issues to avoid disappointing more patrons in the future.

There are other prices online. The boss was already waiting for us outside because we made a reservation. We found that really creepy and intrusive as he directly knew the information we provided. We were fooled by the images on Google. Everything looked completely different in the store. I wouldn't even call it a restaurant, more like a fast food joint. The prices are really a joke and the employees were extremely dubious. The only shop on the street was completely empty. We couldn't even get there properly. They tried to sell us expensive wine and we were asked several times within 2 minutes if everything was okay. Very intrusive, we didn't feel comfortable.

Small portions and expensive for what you get. Other places have better value. Despite we also ordered wine, when we asked for tap water, this was refused. Only expensive water from a bottle is served, which is not only environmentally unfriendly, but very unusual in Amsterdam these days.

We visited this lovely steakhouse for my 60th birthday while visiting Amsterdam. The 400g Fillet steak was cooked (medium) to perfection and came with Chips and a side salad and I ordered pepper sauce. My wife had a 400g Sirloin was cooked very nicely (medium-well) just as she likes it. We booked quite early in the evening (19:30pm) so were the only people in the place but were looked after very well by the waitress and the owner.

Absolutely amazing dinner, the steaks were perfectly cooked and everything tasted superb. Two of their staff called out so it was a two man show which slowed down the service, but the owner/head chef was amazing and tried to be as attentive as possible. Overall an absolutely amazing experience!

The meat was hard. The accompanying salad too small (read: absent). Onion rings not good. Sauce very expensive. All in all a very expensive exercise for a bad dinner.

The meat I had (entrecote) was very good. My friend's meat was very undercooked though so he only at half of it. The prices in the restaurant are about 8 euros more expensive than they promote on their website. It's quite misleading.

Cena a base di carne argentina di cui abbiamo assaggiato tagli differenti, molto buoni. Titolare cordiale che, con un po' di italiano, ci ha dato consigli e spiegazioni sui vari piatti. Possibilità di mangiare anche all'esterno sui tavoli disposti lungo la strada, dove passeggiano le persone ma pochissime macchine in transito. The place for meat lovers! We had an excellent service with nice easy music. We had a great wine (the house wine, a Malbec) a 2 superb steaks! The steaks are grilled on a fine grill with small grill marks (which is the good healthy way). The fries were good too, as well as the creamed patato! As a dessert we had the mango ice with tequila poored over. Never had the combination but its highly recommendable! Not to forget the waiter was very friendly and helpful! Go here when you in Amsterdam.

I am a frequent visitor to Amsterdam and always make it a point to stop by this cozy bistro near the Leidseplein...this trip I got to stop by for both a drink and an appetizer but then again the next night for dinner... The owner/host/waiter/cook all as one is as convivial a person as you would care to meet in life. He is willing to go off menu to ensure that your dining experience is 5 star worthy. He is also willing to adjust portion size so food will not go to waste... Make it a point to stop there at least for a glass of Tempranillo...but the food will NOT disappoint... Meal (al fresco)... Chicken wings with his amazing house made hot sauce Shrimp perfectly grilled again with a house made dipping sauce 300g Sirloin grilled to a perfect medium rare served with his homemade cream mushroom sauce as well as his savory chimichurri... Grilled corn Frites All in was 120 EU with a tip...

The food was very raw and you had to wait forever. Unfortunately it was a very bad experience, although the reviews suggested otherwise….
