Toro Dorado in Burgwallen-Nieuwe Zijde

Cold, uncozy, tasteless, and expensive restaurant. We were shocked by the presentation of the dishes—salads (mango and tomato) were served on dessert plates, with no hint of aesthetics (just chunks of something roughly chopped), and completely flavorless. The baked potato was another disappointment—first, they brought the potato with sour cream, and only 20–30 minutes later did they serve the garlic butter that was supposed to accompany it. The meat was mediocre at best, and honestly, embarrassingly bad for a restaurant that specializes in meat dishes. The bill was outrageous, and there was absolutely no enjoyment.

Not a bad steakhouse. Large wine list with a huge selection of wines priced from several tens to several thousand euros per bottle. Very friendly staff - the waitresses are originally from Bangladesh. The meat was tasty, but the presentation and plating of the dishes was disappointing; it looked unaesthetic; even the flags of the countries from which the meat was used for the steaks stuck into the dishes did not help. But this is the only complaint - everything else was good.

One of the worst memories in a "restaurant". The staff was very roude and not professional at all. Not only they never bring our order, even though we were the only new customers, so they had only our order to prepare, I started staring at them because they didn't give any attention to our table that was empty even we were there about one hour, and only then they asked if we want something, 45 minutes after we ordered. I said that i want my order, they said you have not ordered or probably we forgot you. And then, after the waitress left, she started laughing with her colleagues looking at us. I called her and I said this is not funny and she continued laughing. My behavior after that was a bit roude because they were laughing and they never asked sorry. I can understand that they might forget an order (even this is a very expensive "restaurant") but, at least they could ask for a sorry!!! if they had done that i wouldn't say anything. I hope this only happened to me. Because of the BEHAVIOR AND NOT the mistake, that can happen to any working person, I would never go there again or at any of the brand's restaurants. Thank you for that bad experience

Toro Dorado located at Spuistraat 3d, 1012 SP Amsterdam, Netherlands is one of the very best of the best Steak Houses I have ever been to. Quite a variety of Prime Steaks from different Continents here. My highest recommendation!

Das Essen ( Steaks) waren gut , aber recht teuer. Wir bekamen Bier welches sehr schlecht war ( abgestanden). Als wir dies Ansprachen brachte man uns frisches . Es ist sehr wenig Platz , wir konnten kaum sitzen oder durchgehen .

Beste steak die ik ooit heb gegeten. Vlees is van zeer hoge kwaliteit. Ze hebben een goede en uitgebreide menu kaart. De appetizers , side dishes en dessert zijn ook echt van top kwaliteit . Hun drank menu is ook erg uitgebreid en erg lekker . het is een mooi en gezellige restaurant. De werknemers die daar werken zijn erg aardig en verlenen goede service. De chefs in de keuken zijn ook gespecialiseerd in hun vak en zijn erg vriendelijk ! De eigenaar is echt een hele warme en gezellige man en je kan flink lachen met hem! Het is echt een aanrader om daar te eten en een Hele ervaring wat je echt moet hebben geproeft.

Beste steak ooit die je kan krijgen !!! Dit moet je geproeft hebben anders heb je niet geleefd! Het is het echt waard om daar te eten. Een absolute 10 + het is daar naast ook heel erg gezellig en er werken goede serveersters en koks.

Big shout out the best steak in town, perfectly cooked by chef Singh, and the hospitality of the host Yman with her wonderful smile made our experience soar to another level

This restaurant prides themselves on their steaks and the quasi Japanese twist on their food. They claim they have fillet from New Zealand, Scotland Waygu and Canadian Bison. Steak tartare is a mixture of the different meats. There’s also the obligatory Edamame, tuna tartare, and other Japan-ish foods. You can try out the different meats at 100gms with a minimum of 2 selections. The steaks are over priced and expensive! Their wine selection is very expensive. I was shocked to see 65euros for a bottle of Chianti! The selection is not great either. Shockingly expensive! Service was extremely slow and uneven. 45 minutes and a bottle of over priced wine, and still no food. Other tables were served and still nothing for my table. Called the waiter several times and still nothing. When the steaks were served, they were overcooked to death. Not medium rare. Even though they offered different sauces for the steaks, I really wanted to taste the difference between them. However being cooked to well done deprived me of the opportunity. Roasted potato with cream chive topping barely made the grade as the chives were just thrown on top of some cream. This is a very expensive tourist trap. Don’t fall for the hyped up menu.

Yeah this is definitely a tourist trap. The food was alright, but the steak prices are just ridiculously high for the quality. Spending so much money made me think that I am getting a premium quality streak with incredible taste. It was not that at all, just a regular decent steak. If it cost like twice less, the place would be worth your money

Its just another tourist trap! Overpriced, tasteless meat, pour service, cheap interior!! I can invite the chef in my backyard to teach him how to prepare food. The one extra star is for the japanese icecream Terrible guys, this place is a terrible trap!!

The steak was so juicy and perfectly cooked. Bring an appetite and enjoy a celebration of fine steaks from far and near We had a slice of Kobe as a treat! So good!!

While I was skeptical about going to a 4.2* Google review place, I took a chance as it was highly recommended by my colleague. Three of us had a great experience with service, friendliness, attentiveness, and knowledge of food. We all ordered the "en brochette" which allowed us to taste 4 steaks from 4 countries, and a side for - 32euro total. The steak was substantial, cooked perfectly medium rare, and we sampled sauce on the side. Just right. You get a choice of almost 10 different sauces. We tried chimmichurri and yuzu wasabi. They are shareable sauces in their own containers. For the side, I had an awesome sauteed spinach. There was no rushing us, etc as described in older reviews. Had the cheesecake for dessert, which was incredibly good and right portion. The steak winners for all three of us (and done secretly!) in order were Scotland/New zealand (tie), Argentina, Canada.

La comida está muy buena. Lo que no me a gustado que la camarera que nos sirvió llevaba unas uñas portizas superlargas y muy decoradas. Lo siento pero creo que para ciertos trabajos,sobretodos los que hay comida de por medio las manos tndroan que ser uñas menos exuberantes.

For the price you pay i expected my creme brulee to come out caramelised but it came out with raw brown sugar on it and we had to ask for it to be caramelised.

스테이크 진짜 맛있었고 생면파스타도 맛있었어요 근데 자극적인 맛 기대하면 실망할수도 서비스도 좋았어요 그리고 식전빵이 의외로 기억에 남네요ㅋㅋ 따끈따끈하게 나와서 더 맛있었던거같아요
