Amazing Food in the Center of Amsterdam

Great place to eat in Amsterdam!! The food was spectacular. All the meat we ordered was perfect, and the service and attention were top-notch. I recommend it 100%.

The food was overall good, but not everything. We ordered the mix grill, and while we asked gor the meat to be prepared medium, while some cuts were perfect medium, some other cuts were overcooked

We had the mixed grill at Villa Maria Steakhouse in Amsterdam and it was excellent! The meat was fresh, flavorful, and cooked perfectly. The service stood out — very attentive, friendly, and they regularly checked in to make sure everything was okay. From the warm welcome at the entrance to the moment we left, the experience was smooth and enjoyable. The atmosphere was cozy with nice background music, adding to the overall sfeer. A truly great dining experience from start to finish. We’ll definitely be back the next time we’re in Amsterdam!

Everything was amazing, the steak was exactly what we asked for. Staff is extremely kind, they even gave us a free shot at the end of the meal. Definitely recommend it!

Het was super lekker vooral de Argentijnse rib eye is een hele grote aanbevelen ik hou van vlees en dit was heel lekker mals en sappig , we zijn hier op vakantie vanuit Limburg maar wij zouden zeker nog eens terug komen.

We visited as a group of 10. The food and service was excellent. I have never had such a tender piece of steak. Myself and my husband had the 400g sirloin. It was huge!! We had it with peppercorn sauce, fries and onion rings. I didn’t think I’d be able to finish it but we ate every bit. Everything about our meal was top quality. We wanted to pay as couples which was not a problem at all. Would highly recommend!!

This was our second time here and we were immediately recognized – a great feeling! The service was just as friendly and attentive as the first time. The food was once again truly delicious, especially the steak, cooked to perfection. The value for money is also truly excellent. We'd definitely be back – highly recommended!

Went as a party of 4, a bit after lunch rush. Very friednly staff, the drinks were served quickly. Nice interior and music. We had steaks - tasty and very tender. Different side dishes - all delicious: papa asada, rice, mushroom skewer, patata fritas, garlic bread with black olives. Really enjoyed our lunch.

They didn't ask us how well we wanted the steak, they brought us almost raw meat that was impossible to chew. For two steaks and two cocktails, 100 euros is too expensive for such a place.

The food and service were absolutely amazing. There is so many choices of food on the strip so I was a bit skeptical at first. Let me just say I’m glad we chose this place, it was so good we ate there 3 days in a row🙂 I had the steak with rice and salad, the steak was very tender and seasoned to perfection. The portion size was perfect, enough to fill you up or save some for later. My husband ate the lamb chops which I regretted not getting because they were so delicious, but I made up for it the next day. Lastly the drinks were good as well, I opted for tequila sunrise and sex on the beach.

Amazing restaurant - we did not book but getting a table was not a problem. It was busy and had a great atmosphere, with good background music. Menu is great and being able to choose your sides with your mains was really good. We had steak, ribs and chicken skewers - all were absolutely amazing, perfectly cooked. The wait time for food was short and the staff friendly too. Would definitely recommend.

This steakhouse doesn't deserve a star, more like minus stars. Very unfriendly, definitely not recommended. The place was completely empty. Time: 4:30 p.m. on a Thursday, public holiday. According to the review, we were here, but something seems to be wrong. We ordered two whiskeys, which we didn't get in the end, and of course we wanted to eat delicious food. The sweet potatoes and, of course, the steak. 🥩 The waiter came after two minutes and said he wasn't offering us any service here and that he would only end up charging us two euros for the restroom. Please avoid this restaurant. We have the feeling that the mafia is somehow involved here because he made a call shortly after ordering and said something about two whiskeys. We are now at another restaurant where we were warmly greeted and the service was good.

Excellent solution, good meat, adequate portions, friendly and fast service, ate inside - they gave us a comfortable table for 4 even though we were two. Price a little high but good quality.

Excellent steakhouse. The tenderloin was melt in your mouth soft. The grilled salmon was beautifully cooked and sides were on point. Highly recommended!

We booked a table for 7:30 PM, waited half an hour to take our drink order, an hour later the waiter came and took our food order, we've been waiting for over two hours for our order, they pretend they don't notice us! The service is terrible!!!

Overall current rating around 4.5 is outrageous, unless something really got very bad lately. Visit on May 3rd 2025 with a reservation: disappointing starters, especially when considering price. Some came out of microwave, you could tell from the looks of the empanadas. Meat was served at a slightly low temperature, taste was above average, but hey, if you have tried real good argentinian, Villa Maria was not even close. Secondary perhaps, but indicative of the type of restaurant this is, main courses were served on plastic plates. Come on guys… Draft beer we got had a bitter taste and poor smell, as if barrel was never cleaned or refreshed somehow. Prices ok, but still not really value for money. Environment was acceptable, nothing bad, but nothing great either. Service was pretty good, fast and communicative, no complaints there. I could give a 3/5 overall, but the current 4.5/5 is extreme and leads me to point out some things and reduce my rating to 2/5 overall.

When I sat down, someone came and told me that I had to order a drink before starting. I said I didn’t want to drink, I just wanted to eat more meat. He insisted, saying, ‘This is a restaurant, so you have to order at least a drink, even just water.’ Because of this attitude, I decided to leave.

The best steak place in Europe? Luckily, we came across this by chance...we ate here twice on a three-dinner trip. The food and service are the best :) I'm a huge steak eater and I can wholeheartedly recommend this place :) The sizes of the steaks are 200 - 500 g and you can get them from different parts of the beef. "Trumpsteak" is my favorite, medium and with pepper sauce and Argentinian Malbec wine :)

Ein wirklich gelungenes Dinner. Wir hatten Rib-Eye-Steaks. Alle 3 perfekt auf den Punkt. Innen perfekt außen tolle Kruste und Röstaromen. Der Service war sehr zuvorkommend. Von uns 5 Sterne für den schönen Abend und für die Kunst, sehr gutes Fleisch sehr gut zuzubereiten.

Had a canal cruise early afternoon so we stopped in here for a quick lunch. Overall was a satisfying meal and reasonably priced. The onion soup was not what I expected (it was almost like a bowl of gravy?), but the meat was good. The ‘garlic sauce’ was basically peppercorn ranch.

Trust the comments but it is definitely not worth it. They left us the cards on the table, dry, hard and flavorless meat. High expectations but we left disappointed. Additionally, being a group, we tried the beef fajitas (still dry), salad and ribs/chicken (regular), and good drinks.

We were very pleased. The meat was very delicious. Our daughter loved the vegetable soup. We recommend it.
