Huis Aan De Drie Grachten (House of the Three Canals) is a historic and iconic building in Amsterdam. Its name derives from its location at the junction of three canals: Prinsengracht, Keizersgracht, and Leliegracht. Its typical Dutch architecture and unique location make it a significant tourist attraction. This building, which also holds significant historical significance, is often noted for its traditional façade architecture, a remnant of ancient times. Since Amsterdam's canal district is a UNESCO World Heritage Site, buildings like Huis Aan De Drie Grachten are protected as part of this heritage.

My review concerns the building itself. Known as the Three Canal House, it is the only one in the city surrounded by canals on three sides of its façade. It also has protected monument status, dates back to the 17th century, and has been restored to its original Dutch Renaissance style.

An unbearable smell of grilled meat permeated the restaurant, and the quality of the meat was very poor. The hamburger was terrible, served with frozen fries. The beef tenderloin was served without any sides. The shrimp were served unpeeled in a bath of butter. This food is clearly not prepared by a real chef.

The food was delicious!!! The service was excellent!! I think we became friends with the waiter. We loved absolutely everything, and we would return 1,000 times! I highly recommend it, it's totally worth it.

We had dinner at this restaurant in Rembrandtplein and, unfortunately, the experience was disappointing. We ordered the barbecue buffalo chicken with roasted sweet potato and the chicken saté. The buffalo chicken was overcooked and partly burnt, while the saté became overly sweet and heavy after a few bites. We were also assured that the saté would be made with chicken breast, but it clearly wasn’t. On top of that, the fries we ordered never arrived. The place itself isn’t terrible, but it definitely didn’t feel particularly clean. Overall, I wouldn’t go back.

Ate a 3 course meal via social deal. It was very pleasant to eat on the terrace. The waiters were friendly and had taken into account the fact that we had to be somewhere else on time, so a big compliment and many thanks for that. If we lived closer, I would definitely come back here.
