Very cool looking place and atmosphere. Love the fact that the chef is on full display as he prepares your food. Larger menu than what I’m used to at a high end steak house but a very impressive variety of meats and meals. The staff was super friendly and accommodating . If I am ever in Amsterdam again dining here is a no brainer

The meat was incredible. The place is kids friendly and spacious. Definitely a good choice if you want to eat a good piece of meat.

Una joya de un restaurante en el centro de Amsterdam. Esta ubicación era muy recomendable y la comida no decepcionó. Al ser un lugar relativamente pequeño, aislado justo al lado de la carretera principal. La primera impresión, limpio, acogedor. El menú tiene una amplia variedad de carnes y otras opciones. Personalmente probé el filete de bisonte y estaba absolutamente tierno y muy sabroso. Pocas veces antes había comido un pedazo de carne tan increíble. Mis amigos y yo estábamos muy contentos de haber encontrado este restaurante y no dudaría en recomendarlo a cualquiera.

J' ai adoré la viande et le vin malbec. On ne peux pas dire que c' est trop cher car on mange du boeuf d' excellente qualité ainsi que le vin. Je recommande à 100%. Sauf pour l' entrée, ma fille à pris une salade de langouste qui était trop cuite.

great place, very good burgers and crispy potatoes. Fairly high prices but still excellent quality of meat, on the other hand there is the possibility of booking a table with the fork and receiving a 50% discount on the à la carte menu. 4 euros for a coffee was a bit of a blow to the heart but in any case in these parts the price of coffee is always high so whatever.

Their service is good. Ordered fish soup, which was amazing. Chef Hakim’s suggestions for burgers and steak were excellent. A chef who speaks Arabic, his name is Hakim, is very polite. All the food is excellent, but not the potatoes. Thank you.

Too expensive and medium quality meat

Inedible, I had a bison hamburger that was too spicy, the chef did it wrong, his job was bad.

We ordered barbecue skewers with four different types of steak. The meat was somewhat rawer than the degree of doneness we wanted, but it tasted delicious. The meat got cold before we got all the accessories on the table. Think they forgot our potato. We finally got a dry baked potato. Had to call for the last one. Both came without the accompanying accessories. Finally, we got side dishes for one of the two baked potatoes. But then we ate. The food was good. The dessert was decent, a bit boring. Paid about 130 Euro for the meal. Where we drank water. High price in relation to service and what we got. Very pleasant service, but somewhat messy.

Well, but me than the previous times. The meat recommended by the waitress was not up to the standard I think, especially for the price.

We wanted somewhere to eat on my birthday and fancied a steak, looked a little pricy but thought we would give it a go, the steak was lovely, well cooked and the side dishes superb and as we were leaving, after paying, my sister mentioned it was my birthday, we were asked to sit back down and the staff brought a birthday cheesecake with sparkler’s and sang happy birthday, nice gesture considering we had already paid, we will return on our next visit to Amsterdam

Bleh. Nothing special. Food was below average. Nice staff. 100 better places. Updated Review: we are fairly certain that a member I our party got 2 parasites from eating the burger here. In the ER on an IV drip and special anti biotic. I'd stay clear.

Hands down, one of the worst steak house, I have ever been in. Ordered the best wagyu on medium, and got it well done, when we called this the cook came gaslighting us into accepting it, that we needed to ask it well rare instead, never even not even in Japan, I had this issue, he just didn't want to re-do it. Ruining a almost €200 steak hurts. The servers were nice tho.

We were happy to get seats outside (party of 8), but when the rains came they invited us inside. Service was attentive and friendly. Food was delicious and was like you'd get if your mother was in the kitchen.

That wasn't my first visit in TDQ Steaks in Amsterdam, but during the dinner yesterday multiple things went very wrong. Out of 13 people party, only 3 orders were perfectly on point. For others, either the sizes of the steaks were incorrect, some side dishes were forgotten or the degree of doneness was incorrect. Well, mistakes may happen, but the waitress started arguing that this is what we ordered. I am sorry, there could be a confusion on the guest side with one or two orders, but not with so many... Unfortunately, the bad experiences don't end here. Once asked to turn on the air conditioning (it was rather warm inside), the waiter bluntly admitted that she wouldn't so it, because she is "so sick". Sick. SICK! While serving food to people! After multiple complaints the staff tried to improve the situation with a bottle of Limoncello. It was a nice gesture, I have to admit - even if a bit too late to drastically improve my opinion. However, it's still one of the two reasons that contributed to two stair rating instead of one. It's too bad that the service degraded so heavily in TDQ Steaks, because the food quality is still amazing. Even despite I received the medium lamb rack instead of the medium-rare I ordered, I still enjoyed it. The kitchen staff was also extremely friendly, greeting everybody when we entered the restaurant, so no complaints here, and that's a second reason why I think it was not exactly a one stair experience. Shame, because despite the food was great, service-wise that dinner was far below my expectations based on the previous visits in this restaurant.

The staff were very fiendly, our fillet steaks were great but two of our party ordered salmon which wasn't very good, perhaps they should have also ordered steaks. The only thing the restaurant lacked was atmosphere.

Highly recommend by hotel...what a mistake. Not crowded and certainly not very clean. Ordered drinks and wife got her wine but gave me wrong wine x 2. After this waited 30 min and no one came to table to take my drink order or food order. Became frustrated and asked for bill so could go elsewhere. Tried to charge for wine I never got. Best service, a lot of choice and the best steak.

Last night, we dined at this restaurant with five other friends. The experience was terrible, both in terms of the food and the service, as well as the unprofessional and unacceptable welcome from the restaurant staff. Throughout dinner, a series of extremely serious incidents occurred, which should never happen within a restaurant. Firstly, the restaurant floor was extremely slippery, posing a serious risk to the safety of patrons and staff alike. At one point, a visibly unwell customer at another table attempted to leave the restaurant multiple times but was unable to do so due to their condition and the slippery floor. Shockingly, none of the restaurant staff step in, and the individual was deliberately ignored for over an hour. When we explicitly asked the staff to open another door (I hope that it was not the emergency exit one) to allow the customer to leave, it was discovered that the door was blocked and impossible to open. Furthermore, the service was inattentive and clumsy. After initially taking our orders and serving our meals, the waitstaff never returned to our table throughout the entire dinner to inquire if we wanted additional courses, more water, or if we had any other needs. Additionally, the waiting times were excessively long. We brought these and other issues to the attention of the owner, who rudely dismissed us from the premises and ordered us not to return, even summoning his staff to enforce his directive. Needless to say, the value for money was completely inadequate, even considering the 50% discount from The Fork (which, incidentally, was only granted upon my explicit request to the staff; initially, the bill was printed without the discount, and if I hadn't pointed it out, we would have paid full price). This experience is one to forget, and I strongly advise against visiting this restaurant.

Typed in Wagyu steak, and this place came up. Steak was delicious and cooked as asked, but chips were not to my liking, very dry. Nice place, but prefer slightly higher end/fancy steak restaurants when you're paying over 150 euros for a steak only

One of the best steaks I have eaten. Went for the Canadian Bison fillet. And the ginger waitress was very service oriented.

This upscale restaurant is very clean and uses fresh ingredients. The steak was cooked to perfection and the service attitude was very friendly. When I made special cooking requests, they were able to help me complete it in a warm and friendly manner. The price is also reasonable, highly recommended

I have to ask them to leave out the cilantro ㅠㅠ The lobster salad came out first and I was shocked and salty because it had cilantro. I saw green on the fries again, so I asked if it was cilantro. I was told it wasn't, but the fries tasted like cilantro, so I ate it. But one steak is over!! Great taste👍🏻 The most delicious steak I've ever had in my life. 11 euros for carbonated water is shocking;; It would have been a great meal if only the cilantro had been left out!

If i could give less than one star, I definitly would. We made a reservation at 9pm for 10 people over our hotel, so they had enough time to prepare. First of all, we waited 30 minutes till we got our table, however we couldn't order tap because we were too many. We ordered 6 beers, 8 came... Totally unorganized! The woman waitress was absolutely polite but one waiter, relatively young with a beard, was absolutely indecent. When someone talked to him he just walked away and mumbled anything. The meat we had was raw. The burgers, which were ordered medium, came rare. The meat I had was ordered rare, cam RAW, it was cold and it felt like i was eating a beef tartare. Also it was way too expensive for what you get. Service is bad, food is bad, don't recommend this place at all. Answer to my first review: Absolutely inhospitable saying things like that and lying about it! You said our dishes were "licked-clean", but how can you explain the picture I took, just before we left? Almost every dish has leftovers on it... Yes we have gotten ONE prosecco bottle, which we googled and found out that it costs nothing more than 12€, and NOT a second bottle, because we said, we didn't want it. Also, the a piece of the burger was eaten, they just didn't want to finish it cause they may have gotten sick. Due to your late service, we didn't have time to put the burger on the grill a second time, otherwise we would've missed new years. I've paid 75€, which was way too much, so don't tell me anything about 40€ when you don't have a clue who wrote that review! We had to wait 30 minutes for our table (reserved at 21:00 and got our table at 21:30) and till we got our food it was 1,5 hours later (we got our food at 23:00). Also, how dare are you telling me to go to McDonalds's?! I don't have a problem with spending 75€ for a meal, just not when i get disappointed like at TDQ Steaks!!! They were busy for new years and understaffed, so probably not the best time to see what service and atmosphere could be. It took quite a bit of time to get menus. We had a pleasant conversation with the staff on ordering the very good variety of high end meat as my wife and I live in Kobe and did not want to compare the meats so I went with the Canadian Bison and my wife the Argentinian beef. I also ordered the lobster bisque which was one of the best. The challenge is that they forgot it and brought it out as I was half way through the steak. We also had to remind them of the side dishes. Both steaks were cooked to perfection. As they were busy the challenge was to get their attention to order wine. Once we did it came out quickly. For the price of the meal it was unfortunate that we did not get the service and experience that should accompany it. Unfortunately we heard lots of complaints around us on incomplete orders which did not help the atmosphere. I would not recommend going during peak holidays but would consider during slower periods as they have great food and wine.

I have been to the one in London and this is by far my favourite place to go. Restaurant does wonders with the steaks. No words just absolutely amazing. If in Amsterdam MUST VISIT this place!!

I am a meat lover, and I have to say that this dish was exquisite, it is a good place to have dinner in Amsterdam. Also, there is a man, whose name I don't remember, who is very kind and tries to make sure everything is perfect. I would definitely return.

The waitress was very friendly and smiling, it was a pleasure! Despite his workload (12/31) and our broken English. The meat was tasty and tender, cooked perfectly.

It took them an hour to serve us. They made a mistake with the order, the ribs were burnt, they didn't admit their mistakes. What we ate, which was what was ordered, was not bad.

Enjoyed Bison fillet cooked the way I wanted. Certainly would come back. I recommend to all food critics to come enjoy top quality best steak

Amazing! I had to try the Kobe Wagyu at some point, I regret not getting the whole steak. I had it as an appetiser, which was phenomenal. The waitress asked me at some point if it was good, I told her that it was so good I wanted to cry. For main course I had an Argentinian steak. It was great and cooked to perfection, but after the Japanese Kobe Wagyu, my whole world changed, steaks will never be the same again. You definitely need to try it at some point, even if it's a once in a lifetime experience. The staff was very friendly, overall a great experience!

Amsterdam's finest destination for steak aficionados! I had the privilege of savoring the Kiwi meat, cooked to a perfect medium-well, and it was everything a great steak should be – juicy and succulent. One unique aspect of this dining experience was the presentation of a variety of meat cuts right before us, allowing us to select our preference. However, there's a minor point of contention - we were allotted a mere two hours for our meal. The surprising part was that as our two hours were nearly up, our waitress regrettably informed us, "I'd love to offer you dessert, but I'm sorry, your time has elapsed." This was a first for me, and it left me both amused and slightly disappointed, as it was the only blemish on an otherwise excellent dining experience.

Venim de 3 ani in Amsterdam si de fiecare data venim sa mancam la TDQ Steaks. Personalul este foarte amabil, bucatarul este foarte priceput in prepararea carnii, iar materiile prime sunt de calitate. Gasesti vita argentiniana, scotiana, etc.
