Terrible, people, don't get your food here if you want to get sick! Not even worth one star. I called ahead. Upon arrival, I didn't see Javanese bami, but thick, wide Chinese bami. It didn't look appetizing, so I asked if it could be exchanged for tjauwmin. The lady sitting on a bench, playing with her phone, told me that wasn't possible because it had already been reheated. #a minute earlier. #I hadn't paid yet. I explained that I don't like it and wasn't used to it. This was ignored... so I had to spend my money on food I don't like and don't want... "because it was already reheated." Then, when I got home, I saw that there was peanut sauce on my bami. It was also all over the bami... I've never heard of Javanese bami with peanut sauce. Ugh... The whole container had to go in the trash because I have a peanut allergy and can't tolerate peanuts. Nowhere on the website does it mention that Javanese noodles can contain peanuts. The description also doesn't mention peanut sauce. How do you put peanut sauce on Javanese noodles? I regretted it the moment I walked in and should have left immediately. And the curry egg didn't taste like curry, just egg. I'll never come here again. Customer service is truly non-existent. Oh yeah, and speaking of hygiene. So many things go wrong here. A little girl plays on her phone for hours, then walks into the kitchen and starts preparing food without washing her hands. And that other little girl touches cash and then continues making sandwiches WITHOUT WASHING HER HANDS. No gloves, nothing. Flies flying into the display case. If you want a loose stomach, come here to get your food.

Don't you also think the €1 plastic surcharge for a single container is a bit much? And when I ask why, I only get irritated responses from your staff. The plastic surcharge was there to improve the environment, not to make a lot of money. There's indeed no fixed price, but this feels like a scam.

Ordered dinner here tonight and it was delicious! The cod sandwich and roti rolls are highly recommended. It was also delivered quickly and the delivery driver was friendly.

Ordered roti today. Potatoes were very soft and it tasted very good. Delivery was also fast.

Deteriorated tremendously in a few months. In taste but especially in quantity. The roti was a bowl of vegetables, egg and potatoes and a bowl of chicken. Now combined in one bowl. After years of having enjoyed taking away food there, it was now the last time unfortunately. We have to find another Surinamese restaurant.

Last time Millies corner for me. Ordered a lot in the past, it was always fine. The noodles today were completely dried out, the chicken was completely hard and really hard to eat. There is also little flavor or spice to it. Very unfortunate. Normally I never call, but now I do. I got a younger girl on the phone, the food was said to be fresh and I was the first to complain about it today. Obviously this is heated in microwaves and judging by the other reviews I'm not the only one who has noticed this. Unfortunately I will never order from here again

Monday 5:50 PM Ordered 2x roti with an expected delivery time of 60 minutes... okay, fine. At 7:20 PM we receive a call that it will take longer than normal, but with the comment that we ordered at 6:50 PM? Uhh no 5:50 PM we say. Oh, but did you order via UberEats? No via your own website. Oh yes, I see, but 2 drivers are sick so that's why it takes longer. It arrived at 7:45 PM. Almost 2 hours later??!! Bad service with bad excuses. The roti was also dry, little taste and not really warm anymore. It used to be really great, but since the move there is little left of it.

We ordered via Thuisbezorgd.nl and someone from Millie's Corner itself delivered it. We had three roti meals, chicken, chicken fillet and vegetarian with egg. Superrrr delicious. My children aged 8 and 10, who grew up in Palestine and were not used to Surinamese food, loved it too! Compliments.

Ordered catering from Millies for 30 people. The food (menu suri plus) looked good. It was possible to adjust items from the menu. Guests (Surinamese and Dutch) had a delicious meal!! Thanks for that!

Unfortunately I got rotti here but it got cold. We had ordered in advance but the food still had to be made when we got there. It was already ready-made in the display case and in my opinion it was poorly heated.

Millie's is a nice Surinam restaurant with a few sitting spots to eat but most people go for the takeaway option. They have a nice selection, and great tasting Roti dishes. I would've liked it if the Roti rolls themselves were filled with peas/potato

Always find the roti here to be good, even the vegetarian version. It's a shame they don't use long beans, but the taste is good and the portions are generous! Nasi with ketjap chicken special was also great. Don't quite understand the low rating. Only delivery sometimes takes a little longer.

Lately something has often been forgotten and if you call we will deliver it but often they just don't come to eat cold meat tough I won't order from here again

Ordered two shrimp sandwiches A staff member had long hair, it was not put up and was waving back and forth above where the food was made, his hands regularly ran through his hair, other staff too, then my sandwiches were prepared, not so hygienic. We have been getting Roti from Millie for over 30 years. Have moved, so a 60 minute drive back and forth. Roti is worth it, but damn this time no long beans but well-cooked green beans. Letdown! It can happen, but tell us when you pick it up and don't make us pay for an extra portion of junk.

Moksi Meti Special ordered. (€15.-) Got a call that the pork is gone. Requested chicken instead. I didn't get long beans and vegetables?! But paid a few euros more for it. The portion has also been halved. How little to say. My three-year-old toddler can easily eat this. No sambal and the chicken was extremely dry. Even the liver had been removed from the chicken leg. Millie's is definitely not what it used to be! Not to be repeated.

Best Roti tent in the whole of the Netherlands!! Yes, really throughout the Netherlands :) Always friendly service and fast service. We couldn't have been to Utrecht without taking Roti from Millies Corner back to our own village. This makes my kids in particular, but also my dad, very happy!! The roti plates are mouth-wateringly delicious... you can order them separately with the sweet sambal... mmmm!! We always choose the normal Roti chicken fillet, the nasi chicken on the bone and for me the vegetarian Roti special. So worth trying here oh yes they also use the real long beans!!

Been here for the 2nd time today. Food was delicious, the rotirol was especially tasty, the employees are very friendly, I will definitely go back here!

2 baked cod sandwiches and 2 small saoto soup. That is 25 euros. We took 3 bites of the saoto soup, which was literally tasteless. Not a single taste of sere or galangal to be seen and even saltless, bean sprouts not cleaned, chicken not even fried. Also very disappointing was the ketjap pepper "this had to be made". When we asked for yellow pepper we got yellow bara chutney which was also totally tasteless and not hot. Sandwiches were OK.. at checkout the lady asked if we liked it and we indicated that we didn't like the soup and that we left it alone. No compensation at all. That was actually 25 euros for 2 bakeljauw sandwiches and a coca cola zero, yellow fernandes. BAH.

We got a lot of really tasty food. Roti and many more that I don't know the name of. I will definitely get food here more often.

They used to be awesome. Now they give you way less food and it’s a lot saltier than before.

Microwave restaurant. Everything is cold and put in the microwave for 10 minutes. Scoop potato, scoop vegetables, scoop chicken, scoop sauce and then microwave. Sweet teenage girls but extremely slow. The cabbage and beans would be so much tastier if they weren't microwaved. Taste is good, not spicy, but 13 euros for a roti is on the spicy side. With a real chef it would be twice as tasty. It's OK.

By far my favorite roti. We have always really enjoyed the vegetarian roti. Never before have I seen so many vegetables in a roti, the potatoes are perfectly saucy and the roti plates... always a treat. The sambal is delicious, not too spicy so perfect for cheese heads. The bowl of pickles is highly recommended. The employees are friendly and good to see that many young people enjoy their work. Too bad we moved to Amsterdam...

Disappointment. Roti chicken is more of a bowl of broth with potato, green beans (not long beans) and cabbage. Hardly chicken. The whole thing tastes like a salty cup of soup. “Free” drinks not included.

We have just ordered a rice table from the store for tomorrow, to be delivered for us and our guests. Because we were now hungry, we ordered a long bean sandwich with shrimps and rice with chicken and ate it at home. Super! Fast delivery. Really fresh products! Chicken cooked perfectly. Genius. Everything was perfect: hot, fast, fresh and delicious.

Food was only delivered after an hour and a half, so you hope the taste was worth the long wait. Unfortunately the taste was also terrible. Lots of dough (roti) filled with potatoes, some pieces of green beans, but I had to look for the beef and veal that should be included with a magnifying glass. Paid more than €20 but it was not even worth half. Never again!!!

What a worthless thing this has become. A bowl of chicken rotti with soggy potatoes, 1 scoop of overcooked chicken, limp green beans and why not long beans, something that looks like cabbage. And taste...we won't talk about that any further. Never heard anything after calling and they don't even respond to emails. Never again. There are plenty of other places to go.

What a childish playground it is there, all young people who find each other more interesting than the business ... I ordered and was not ready for the 2 x .. I also had a cold sandwich last time .. sambal is 9 out of 10 times and not spicy either. ...compared to early on, they have really gone from a 9 to a 2, sorry

Food is good. When you have it delivered, they are structurally late. OK. Then you think, I'll order online and pick it up. Then they are also structurally late.

Ordered food for the first time. I was really craving roti chicken with potato, beans, egg, masala and sauce. We also ordered Javanese chicken and noodles. Bami was okay. But the rest...nothing tasted Surinamese. No spices, no masala, no flavor. It came with a bowl of boiled beans and white cabbage. €66.25 spent. Tasted like nothing. A real shame. Never again.

One of the better ones in Utrecht, it is not the same as it used to be on the Amsterdamsestraatweg, but it is good.

Ordered twice and had to wait 2 hours twice. Employees who answer the phone could be a bit nicer. Never again! Not even worth 1 star...

Good price-quality ratio and a friendly, fun atmosphere when picking up. The location is not very central, but it is worth the detour.

Food was okay, sauce and vegetables were tasty, but the roti breads were disappointing. It's also a pity that we had to ask if tables could be cleaned and even if you eat on site, everything is packed in plastic disposable containers and you receive plastic disposable cutlery, which is a shame and not environmentally friendly.

Worst service and customer friendliness in Utrecht. You are seen as a walking bill, nothing more. And there are mice in the store.

Had Roti Lam for the first time and found it delicious and sufficient

Order received promptly and ready quickly. Unfortunately my roti roll was a joke, there was almost nothing on it and the long beans dominated. The chicken soy sauce sandwich was okay, great taste and the cucumber was also fine, but unfortunately not much in the way of content. Nice to try once, unfortunately not as expected.

Excellent food and good service

Ordered Millie's extra with large noodles and small satay sauce and sambal. Didn't receive any noodles. 6 euros away. Satay sauce without noodles 1½ euros away. No sambal. Small bowl of meat instead of large. How bad you are! And you can forget about calling, because the receiver is off the hook. Too bad I can't give 0 stars.

Yesterday I ordered Roti from Millie's Corner - quality was always quite poor, cardboard cake with a blob of gravy, but good. Also ordered something yesterday but the order was never delivered. However, Millie didn't give up - lost money. We will never order anything there again.

12 euros for a special roti. A special roti has more chicken and an egg. I'm surprised by the more chicken statement as 50% of the dish is potatoes. I wouldn't pay this amount of money for this amount and quality of food. Nothing special.

We've eaten a lot of roti from Millie's Corner over the years. It must be said that the last two years have deteriorated enormously. Today was the final straw. I took 2 roti special. The vegetables were sour, as were the potatoes. The roti was a bran. In any case, it didn't smell good... A real shame, including my money.

This was always a good place. But the quality is no longer what it used to be. Unfortunately. Don't go here for more. Has gone way behind. Everything is already prepared in containers and heated in the microwave.

Restaurant has been moved to the back of its original location, still the same building. The service was a bit of a shock, because the service was physically present but not mentally. In my opinion it was a strange intention, an older couple ready to order was ignored. Roti special was without egg when I got home. Still taste good as always
