Food is good but service is awful! No one of them seemed to know what was going on and who was waiting which tables. The servers aren’t friendly towards one another and the boss seems to be micromanaging everyone . I felt like I was in a soap opera where servers and bosses kept talking about each other and food and drinks were sent to the wrong tables. Definitely need to improve in that aspect cause it ruined our dinner although the food was good.

This was the second time we were having brunch in Miry Mary. The food was very delicious, with the waiter Leo, who took care of us and recommended nice dishes to try. We will definitely be back again

Food was wonderful but we were so disappointed by the service. We had a reservation for 9pm to sit inside but had to sit outside because the inside was full. That would’ve been fine except it took 20 minutes for a waiter to come over to take our order for drinks and they forgot to bring us menus, which we just looked up on our phones. They forgot to bring us water and when they did bring us water in a jug, they didn’t bring us any cups to drink it out of. It was impossible to get anyone’s attention since their back was turned to us 90% of the time at the hostess stand. We finally ordered food at 9:30pm, We got food at 9:50pm and unfortunately the aloo tiki chat was cold and mushy from sitting out. The rest of the food, especially the spicy chicken was delicious. We finished by 10:10 and when the waiter came back over he asked us if we wanted desert but immediately backtracked and said “oh wait the kitchen closed at 9:45, sorry.” Finally we waited 10 more minutes to get the check and the waiter set the card reader down in front of me. Didn’t say anything or explain so I typed in the amount to be paid and tapped the card. The receipt printed but he said “oh you paid already? Hold on I have to check with my colleague, you weren’t supposed to do that.” I didn’t understand what happened, since the receipt printed. The waiter went inside for another few minutes. I guess I was supposed to wait for his iPad to sync up and then tap but he put it down in front of me with no explanation so I just went ahead and paid. Overall really frustrating experience for what seems like a lovely spot

The food was absolutely delicious! We had brunch on Sunday. We'll definitely be back! Highly recommended! The only downside was that the music was way too loud, forcing you to talk so loudly that you practically went hoarse. Almost unbearable. But the food makes up for it! 😉

We came across this restaurant by chance and were seated fairly quickly, which we appreciated, especially since it’s typically reservation-based. The ambiance and aesthetic of the space were beautiful, and I really enjoyed the unique cocktails on the menu. However, the food was a bit underwhelming overall. We were especially excited to try the butter chicken, but unfortunately, it took over 30 minutes to arrive. We noticed several tables that were seated after us receiving the same dish before we did, which was frustrating. By the time ours came, we honestly had lost our appetite for it. The naan was also disappointing, lacking the flavor we expected. On a more positive note, the prawn canapés and Miri’s Spiced Chicken were very good and stood out among the dishes we tried. Overall, while the vibe and drinks were great, the inconsistency in service and food quality made this a mixed experience for us.

I was unable to eat at this restaurant so my review is based solely on my experience. We’d booked a table for 8:30pm on the terrace, which was described as warm and cosy with heaters and blankets. This was meant to be our treat meal on our honeymoon and we’d seen excellent reviews. It took a few minutes to get seated which wasn’t ideal but fine. There were some nicer more public places to sit but we were put in the very back corner of the terrace. It took another 5 minutes to get menus, and then nothing. There were no heaters on and no blankets offered. Waiters around us cleared tables but despite our attempts to get someone’s attention to order, no luck. By 9pm, 30 minutes after our reservation we hadn’t even been offered drinks. The table next to us, who had ordered before we arrived didn’t get their food until we left meaning the wait time for food was a minimum of 30 minutes. We asked for our deposit money back and left, though ended up in McDonald’s as it was very hard to find another place to eat at gone 9pm on a Saturday evening. The food we saw looked fantastic and smelt good. But for €22 for a main plus an additional 8 for a rice and naan, we wanted to receive a basic level of service and we unfortunately did not. What should have been a lovely celebratory meal was ruined. I didn’t get sent the deposit back despite them confirming they would refund it. I had to charge it back on my card.

Flavorful, well prepared and seasoned food across all the courses. Warm efficient service. Lovely atmosphere. A neighborhood gem and a great go to spot for a nice meal with friends or a quiet evening as a couple.

From the moment we arrived, "Nick” greeted us with a warm smile and made us feel welcome right away. He was attentive without being intrusive, always checking on us at just the right time. He explained the menu clearly, gave us excellent recommendations, and made sure every detail of our order was perfect. Throughout the meal, he was polite, friendly, and professional, keeping our table well taken care of. Even when we asked for small adjustments, he handled everything quickly and with a great attitude. When it came time to pay the bill, he was efficient and courteous, ending our experience on a very positive note. Overall, his service truly elevated our dining experience, and we left feeling very satisfied and grateful.

Probably the best Indian restaurant in the city – modern touches yet all the traditional favourites are here. I’m not a pro in Indian cuisine, but the butter chicken is unbelievable, perfectly balanced and not too spicy, so even non-spice fans like me will enjoy it. Paired with rice and garlic naan, it’s the ultimate combo. The specialty lemonade with herbs and spices is also unique and charming. Plenty more to explore on the menu, including their ‘Indian experience’ option – a little bit of everything, which we’ll definitely try next time to discover more of this amazing cuisine. 🍛✨

We shared the chaat of the day, and the butter chicken with garlic naan and rice. Both were tasty but not amazing. The butter chicken sauce was a bit too sweet and bland for my personal preference. I also had the tropical colada cocktail which was delicious, and a nice variation of a piña colada (less creamy). We sat at the bar, and Yulia the bartender was charming, as was the rest of the staff. The interior design is lovely and the atmosphere was great.

The food at Miry Mary in Amsterdam was good, but the overall experience was unfortunately a bit disappointing. We opted for the Chef's Heritage Menu, hoping to be surprised by authentic Indonesian food. Instead, we were served dishes like schnitzel and arancini, which felt more Western than Indonesian. We even had to request naan separately, as it wasn't included in the menu. Furthermore, the special whisky on the menu wasn't available. The service was very busy and chaotic, making the atmosphere more reminiscent of a Chinese takeout than a relaxed night out. Finally, we were seated at a tiny round table where the menu was barely served properly. All in all, the quality of the food was good, but the restaurant felt a bit overhyped, and we missed the true Indonesian soul it promises.

Food was amazing and plentiful, Nick was lovely and explained each of our three courses. We are only in Amsterdam for two days, and this being one of our spots for dinner was well worth it for both the food and experience!!

Had a very nice dinner! One needs to order at least 2-3 Indian tapas, it’s great for sharing. Taste is good, well balanced and not overpowered with cumin. Worth a visit!

Bad service , they charged us 20 euros to secure reservation but made us wait 30 mins to get the table. We had to stand outside for 30 mins in cold to get the table. Don’t fall for the higher rating it’s sponsered on google and uber eats.

While visiting Amsterdam, dined at this beautiful restaurant in De Pijp. Went there for dinner, and must say the place changes the concept of Indian restaurants outside of India. Not just a regular place serving curries. Being a vegetarian, we had ample of options. The vaangi bhaat aranchini, kaali dal, & burhani raita absolutely stole the show. The experience was so good that we also ended up going for their weekend brunch. Again, the food & service was on point. Loved the saag burrata & Bombay sandwich.

Delicious food and drinks, friendly service

Food was excellent. Menu suggests 3-4 dishes per person but we ordered 2 each and that was plenty! The seating arrangement outside is very crowded, you’ll be rubbing elbows with other diners 🙁 Doesn’t reflect the upscale imagery depicted on the website. I was expecting this to look like Dishoom or Mowgli in the UK, which have beautiful interiors.

One of my favorite places to go, great service by Alous. The cocktails are always on point with creative new flavours and the food is comforting without feeling too heavy, with a great mix of classics and new adventurous combinations. We could not stop eating. The broccoli is a must!!!

To be honest I did not really understand what we had. When I go to an Indian restaurant, there is a certain expectation of portion sizes, flavours and corresponding prices. Here the portions were small but pricy. And the concept seems to be more of a fusion like. I do not think we will be coming back when we crave Indian food. Inside the space is cozy and the tables are very close to each other. I would not recommend with a stroller.

Great atmosphere, incredibly delicious food, and fast service. We had a table at the bar, where the bartender personally made sure we had everything we needed. In short, highly recommended if you enjoy delicious Indonesian food in a cozy setting. Kudos to the bartender for taking care of the Flemish couple!
