A delicious menu with a variety of snacks and meals, including vegetarian and vegan options. Highly recommended, a lovely meal together in the cozy restaurant, which is divided into two sections, with one side seeming a bit quieter. The acoustics are a bit hollow, but the service and food more than make up for it - Chicken wings are 100% highly recommended! TOP!

We had the non veg set menu for 4 people, it was amazing!!! They ask if we want to refill the curries, we said yes they refilled the full bowl of curries!!! We ate so much and we're all very food!!! Amazing service and food and cocktail, highly recommended!

Great place to have a shared dinner with a group of family/friends. Plenty of vegetarian options, wide selection of meat dishes, paneer menu and momo’s! Service was very attentive and kind, definitely coming back soon.

Delicious food and great service.

No wait time on a Sat night at 6:45 pm and had a great time with my family. Ordered the momos steamed and pan fried versions and both were excellent. The yeti noodles & the Nepalese thali with chicken, vegetables & paneer, dal and raita was fabulous. Even the methi paratha was exceptional, and packed the left overs to eat later. Gautam our server was very polite, and the service was very speedy. Highly recommend this place, for flavorful food.

A bit unassuming from the outside, but a real surprise inside. Very cozy, very friendly and attentive staff, and above all, very delicious food. We went with the whole family and opted for the Sherpa menu. This meant different variations of curries and sauces, as well as different types of meat or vegetarian dishes, all of which were served repeatedly until everyone was full. Simply delicious and highly recommended for families with children.

We’ve been home for about two months after we had dinner at Sherpa our first night in Amsterdam and we still talk about the fabulous food we had at Sherpa! The mo mos were incredible! I highly recommend this place. It’s phenomenal!

After two weeks of eating out for breakfast, lunch, and dinner on our honeymoon, my husband and I decided on Sherpa as our last meal to end our trip. Everything was beyond exceptional. We did the Shared dining experience(non- Vegetarian) with the vegetable momo and were blown away. The chicken, lamb curries were so tender and moist. Our only regret is that we did not try this place out in the beginning of our trip so we could eat here a few more times! I also recommend the shiraz, it pairs very well with the dal soup!

We ordered the €40 tasting menu per person and were not only full but also satisfied. The food was excellent and exceeded our expectations. The staff was friendly and courteous.

Came here twice during my week trip to Amsterdam and I would highly recommend it. The food was excellent and the service was great. I especially recommend the veggies samosas and garlic naan. Best garlic naan I've ever had. Service was very prompt and all the staff were very attentive and helpful. I look forward to visiting again next time I'm in town!

4 of us turned up without a booking at 7pm on a Tuesday night and had a fantastically tasty meal. We all like different things with different spice levels and we were all catered for. Service was excellent, attentive when required and not pushy after the meal to order anything else. Highly recommend.

We had the "introductory menu" with several courses. The soup, dumplings, flatbread, rice, and main course convinced us to eat here again! Everything was very reasonably priced! We were then invited for a traditional nightcap, which we, of course, accepted. A type of rum that soothed our stomachs. The service was excellent and professional, and the atmosphere was fantastic! We'll be back!

Greeted by two young men, very friendly and easy do deal with. You can chose between food from Nepal, Tibet and India. I tried 5 different small dishes from Nepal, had to try to different Naan as well. All food very good.

What a gem right in the heart of the city. Pleasant atmosphere, delicious food at a good price. We had the four-course menu, which was a truly substantial portion. The service was fast, friendly, and efficient. The absolute best part was the homemade mango ice cream for dessert. Highly recommended!!

I had lunch at Sherpa during my stay in Amsterdam and had a truly positive experience. The dishes are well-prepared and have authentic flavors, with generous portions and meticulous presentation. We spent around €40-50 each, which reflects the quality and atmosphere of the place. The staff is friendly and helpful, and what I really appreciated was that they welcome small dogs, making the atmosphere even more pleasant and inclusive. Recommended for both lunch and dinner if you want to try a different kind of cuisine in the heart of the city.

It's a very welcoming, very warm and very clean place (even for the toilets) with attentive and super nice staff. We were able to share the dishes and even take dog bags with us. It's very easy to access. I recommend it a thousand times 👌🏻, definitely not to be missed when you discover the city.

The food was absolutely delicious. My favorite part of the experience was the fact that it’s very clear what a vegan/vegetarian can eat. We were served very quickly.

A Nepalese and Tibetan restaurant with delicious food and excellent service, close to the Rijksmuseum. We ordered prawn biryani and paneer masala, with spiced yogurt and white rice. The food wasn't spicy or overpowering, but had a delicate flavor that left you feeling the delicious spices without feeling stung. I highly recommend this restaurant, especially since the staff is very friendly.

This is one of the best Tibetean, Nepalese, Indian cuisines ever tried! Exceptional flavors, all dishes surpassed expectations! It's always super busy, but worth the wait 😋😋😋

Very tasty! I ordered paneer curry, vegetarian momos, two mango lassi - it came out to 45 euros. For such a size of dishes and quality - absolutely justified. Very pleasant atmosphere in the establishment, very friendly staff. I recommend!

We had a great experience at Sherpa during our visit to Amsterdam. Being from India, we really appreciated how warm and welcoming the staff were they were so humble, friendly, and made us feel completely at home. The food was incredible! We especially loved the momos and butter chicken full of flavor and cooked just right. Everything tasted fresh and authentic, and the staff even helped us choose based on our spice preferences. The atmosphere was cozy and relaxed, and the service was quick but never rushed. It honestly felt like dining with friends such a rare and nice feeling when you’re far from home. Would definitely recommend this place if you’re looking for delicious Nepalese, Indian, or Tibetan food with a side of genuine hospitality. We’ll be coming back for sure!

Wauw, wat een fijne ervaring! We hebben op een warme avond heerlijk buiten op het terras gezeten en werden door het ontzettend vriendelijke en behulpzame personeel bediend. Ze gaven tips & informatie over het eten en ook kon het eten per persoon worden aangepast in mate van pittigheid. Geweldig! En dan het eten en de heerlijke drankjes.. 😍 Alles was spot on! Enorm smaakvol, ruime porties en bovenal authentiek Nepalees! Omdat ik ooit 10 maanden in Nepal heb gewoond was dit voor mij ‘a trip down memory lane‘ en brachten de smaken en geuren mij direct terug in het mooie Nepal.. Een onvergetelijke avond met heerlijk eten en drinken. Dit is een enorme aanrader voor iedereen die nieuwsgierig is naar het smaakvolle eten uit het prachtige Nepal! Ik ga zeker terug! “Pheri betaula!”

what sold me in a no-turning-back kind of way was how they dimmed the lights and blasted a really good happy birthday song and brought out a sparkler. their small ceramic dishes were delightful as well as the food inside them. waiter endearing.
