It's Halal! The cirtificate is clearly and proudly displayed at the main door to reassure all clients. Great family restaurant. Beautiful interior and really warm and welcoming staff. They did everything they could to look after us. Our son was really tired and hungry so he was somewhat impatient to eat and go, hence no food photos. The chicken Biryani was top notch and so was the nan with chicken haandi. We thought the prices were fair too. We'd love to go back again one day in hopefully better circumstances.

Awesome food and closely resembling authentic Indian taste. The service and attention to details was too good. The hotel staff are very friendly. Chicken tandoori and Chinese are a must try.

We called 20 minutes in advance and, despite a group of 16 people, got a table quite spontaneously. Service top. Food top. Every dish was super tasty and of the best quality. And then also the owner, who speaks so many languages. Highly recommended!

I visited there very recently to test Biriyani. It was one of the worst biriyani I tested ever. Could not complete full. It seems that it should cost like 5-6 bucks, but they were selling it to about 20 Euro. Inside atmosphere was cool.

Restaurant Raina is highly recommended. The **garlic naan** and **butter chicken** are excellent – ​​tasty and well prepared. The **mango lassi** is a refreshing addition to the meal. The atmosphere is warm and comfortable, and the staff are friendly and attentive. Tip: try the Punjabi tea after dinner. It's a good ending. All in all a nice place for good food and a pleasant experience. I'll definitely be back.

The food was delicious, we ordered butter chicken, dal makhni and paneer butter masala. The service was also great. I wish the restaurant celebrated Suresh Raina's cricket journey more, like more pictures, cricket items belonging to him and maybe a letter to the guests in the menu from him could add a more personal touch.

As a proud Pakistani, I couldn’t resist expressing my love for the culinary delights served here. The Mango Lassi was absolutely divine, with a perfect blend of mango and a unique touch of pistachio, giving it a refreshing twist. If you're a fan of traditional drinks with a little extra flair, this one is a must-try! The GT Road Curry truly took me back to the flavors of home, offering an authentic taste reminiscent of the famous GT Road in Pakistan. It’s as close as you can get to real home-style cooking with all the spices and richness you'd expect. The Aloo Paratha and Keema Naan were simply mouthwatering. The Paratha was soft and crispy in all the right places, while the Keema Naan had a rich, flavorful filling that paired perfectly with the curry. What truly stood out was the warmth and hospitality of the staff. They were so humble and attentive, making the experience even more special. Sending love from Pakistan to Raina and the entire team for an unforgettable meal. Highly recommend!

It’s a lovely restaurant. Food taste very good, mango lassi too. But the staff served my rice with a thumb in it. And the staff could’t handle the situation, when some guests loudly began to argue. Because of arguing guests, other guests had to wait, some even decided to walk to another restaurant instead. I got a free desert as Sorry.

The place is cosy and pleasant. The staff is kind and helpful and the meal was great.

I came to Amsterdam for 4 days recently and couldn't decide on where to eat out for my birthday. We chose to head out for an Indian and picked this place. Absolute 5 star! The food is delicious! All fresh and homemade. The staff are so welcoming and lovely. Nothing was too much trouble. The amount of food you get is absolutely amazing! The prices are not extortionate. We wish we shared the meals where they were so generous. Please come and visit these guys if you want a good night, good food, good company, good prices, good atmosphere and good vibes. 11 stars out of 10!! Will definitely be returning when I come back to Amsterdam!

Food was good, good portion sizes aswell. Service got the food on time, but bill took quite a while.. there was only one staff waiting the table, the ambience is near set for fine dining but loud chatter by staff, no uniforms is unsightly.

We ordered chicken noodles, prawn biryani, and aloo paratha, and all three dishes were absolutely delicious. The flavors were authentic, well-balanced, and truly satisfying. One of the highlights was the generous portion sizes—each dish was more than enough and offered great value for the price. The prawn biryani was rich in aroma and perfectly spiced, the chicken noodles were flavorful and cooked to perfection, and the aloo paratha was soft, well-stuffed, and paired beautifully with the side dips. On top of the fantastic food, the customer service was exceptional. The staffs were welcoming, attentive, and made sure we had everything we needed for a comfortable dining experience. We are from the UK, and when we visit Amsterdam again, we will definitely be coming back to Raina Restaurant. Highly recommended!

I had an amazing experience at Raina Indian restaurant. I had high expectation before coming here and honestly it was fulfilled. The food is so authentic. It has a real taste of Indian food. Also, staff is very helpful. Especially Asif bhai was so kind and his customer service was top notch. Surely to visit. I am gonna come back.

Best Indian restaurant in Amsterdam I've ever been to. The service was above average and the prices are reasonable for the size of the portions and how tasty the food is. Both the starters and main courses we ordered were delicious. We even had enough leftovers to take with us and enjoy them at home. There are also a lot of options for vegetarians. We can't wait to go back and try the rest of the menu.

This restaurant is truly worth recommending! The food is excellent, with delicious dishes that are full of flavor and beautifully presented. The desserts are absolutely delightful and not to be missed. The service is friendly and attentive.

Decent food. Moderate portion. High market prices. Decor is good and ambiance is amazing . Not much memorabilia except the signed shirts from MSD and Raina. Away from central Amsterdam so tourists customers can’t reach easily. Except few customers the restaurant was empty when we visited.
