Perfect food for great prices. Ate here a couple times during my stay in Amsterdam and I enjoyed it every time.

Ordered the iberico pork siu mai, maki and tonkatsu ramen. The siu mai was as close as you can get to the real thing. Pork was juicy. The maki rice was soft and flavourful. Tonkatsu ramen noodles was perfectly done. The only thing I didn’t like was the pork pieces. Not as soft as the ones you get in Japan. Otherwise everything else was great!

Had a delicious meal at Mister Chen. Good sushi with lots of fish and super fresh. And a lovely terrace full of sunshine between 4:00 PM and 8:00 PM!! Will definitely come back.

Poor home delivery, I ordered various snacks for a lot of money, but without any satisfaction. The snacks were much larger in the photo than in real life. I also ordered noodles, but they were completely hard. Only the California was tasty

Appetizing, but simple and surprisingly little broth for such a pricey meal. I had the Special Edition Beef Ramen, and compared to other restaurants I got 60% of the amount of broth that is normal.

Had a really lovely meal here, starters were sushi and gyozas which we shared. Wine and beer both good quality. We had tofu udon noodles and a shrimp fried rice dish for mains. Both were really tasty and just what we needed after a travel day. The person serving us was very friendly and we had a lovely chat with them. Would highly recommend.

What a find! Absolutely delicious food - I had the veggie ramen and my partner had the pork belly - can confirm that both were great! The black sesame ice cream is amongst the best ice cream we have EVER had (including in Italy). The owner is so nice and it is such a lovely family business. Highly recommend ☺️.

Best Chinese food I’ve ever had. This chef is a perfectionist and you can taste it. We were a party of 4 and ordered all starters and dumplings on the menu, then had the duck, pork belly, spinach and seaweed salad and some udon. They also made soup dumplings off the menu. All to share and It was just ecstatic. The only down side is that i’m now spoiled for life!

Ramen was phenomenal and service fantastic. Ramen broth was beautifully full-bodied without being too rich/heavy, and the black sesame ice cream was heavenly. (We even loved the restaurant playlist.) Will definitely return!!

Delicious Tonkatsu Ramen, very polite and quick service. Also, we were even welcomed in a few minutes earlier then the opening time.

The lady was very nice who served us the whole evening. The food was served remarkably quick and was very tasty.

At our request, the owner has put together a surprise menu of 9 small snacks. We wanted to taste as many different dishes as possible from the menu and by serving 2 pieces of all kinds of dishes, we were able to do a whole tasting! She has selected all the dishes and advised which ones are the best on the menu! She talked passionately about the food with each dish and everything was delicious! So a big tip; ask for the Surprise tasting menu!!

Most disgusting food I ever had! Don't ever order from this place! Everything looks very nice and tasty on the photos. But that will not be what you will receive at home. You will receive: warm sushi, edamame that is rancid, the worst ramen ever made with instant ramen. What a facking disappointment 😣 Ruined my night!

Mister Chen was so good our group went twice in one weekend! You have to get the Waygu dumplings - they are the best dumplings I’ve ever had. Our group enjoyed the Tonkatsu Ramen and the pink lady sushi as well. The staff was super helpful and nice to chat with.

I walked in 30min before closing time on a Tuesday. It was empty already. The lady at the bar was very friendly and relaxed and helped me order the ramen I was so longing for. The soup came quickly, the toppings seemed very fresh, the chicken was very tender and the ramen were 💯. The broth could have been a bit stronger, spicier, but hey they had some good soy and sambal to help me out. I never went here because it looked a bit crappy from the outside. I went because it was the only ramen place open. And I am glad it did not disappoint.

Ordered on uber eats and the ramen was inedible. Broth was basically just oil. Felt extremely sick after a few bites and threw the rest away.

Absolutely not authentic ramen: more like instant noodles… the posters on the wall are ridiculous (politically). Service not bad but frankly I don't like the meals there as an Asian🦀

The ramen was superb, and the various dumplings/gyoza we picked were all delish. We ordered takeaway and had a great conversation with the co-owner, and wife to the chef of the restaurant. Finding out that the dumplings and noodles are all handmade. Totally worth it! Thank you for the food and conversation.

I was craving beef in black bean sauce and ordered it without realizing it wasn’t on their menu. They went out of their way to make it for me and it was AMAZING ❤️ thank you so much!

Fabulous food. We loved the chicken udon and vegetable dumplings. Delicious kimchi too.

Resturant has seating for about 20 people tables range in size from 2 people to six people. They have low tables and high top tables. We had tuna nigiri, pork gyoza, and wagyu beef dumplings. They were all okay. We also had the pork ramen. The soup broth had the look and consistency of chicken soup and not a thick, creamy pork bone broth, it was average.

Just excellent. As fans of Asian food we were sceptical at first but what a treat. The sushi was fresh and just right. Lovely dumplings, various ways of preparing, crispy pork belly is excellent. For the quality the price is low. The service was lovely and personable. So glad to have found this.

Not a nice atmosphere. Not really inviting.

The quality of the food at Mister Chen was okay. The miso soup was a bit watery, the dim sum was a bit mushy but the pork belly was very good. The service was also nice, but nothing was cleared away, which is why the table became very full towards the end. But: the price is pretty decent. The Pork Belly in the picture costs €17 without any side dishes. That's maybe 100 grams of meat. The Pork Belly is shown larger in the pictures in the app in which you order.

Recently had dinner here. We ordered Beijing duck with pancakes and vegetables, pork gyoza. Everything was tasty, we had a great time. I would recommend this place. :)

Very delicious Asian cuisine and welcoming service! I had the vegetarian gyozas and the vegetarian ramen. Both delicious, especially the gyozas tasted great and had slightly thicker dough - tasted handmade! The service is super welcoming and kind. The ambience could be a bit more decorative. But all in all a great place - would recommend!

Inside was quite cold, but the lady was nice about it and moved us to a table with a heater. The food was ok, nothing special.

The best beef ramen in Amsterdam!

Was just ordering two ramens! Don’t bother yourself it is not a ramen it is a trick low quality of food ,the order comes cold Chicken lowcocked And when I called to ask when is it coming after one hour I’ve been told by the lady that it’s not her job to make sure the food will come on time and hot

We went for dim sum lunch and it was really good. All the different dumplings were delicious. The service is good and the atmosphere is relaxing

First night on our break, so needed to find somewhere close to the hotel as was not doing food (Monday!!!). Got a good rating on Tripadvisor and the photos made it looks more posh than it actually was. So was not what we woz expecting and a bit canteenish. Food ok but the weird thing was you could only order via an app. No menu, no nothing. We didn’t have 4 g on phone so had to ask the owner ??? for the Wi-Fi code . However one menu on one phone does not work so my partner ordered everything (It was late and we were hungry 🤤). So disappointed but did the job but also we thought it was expensive (45 Euros for two including two small beers)

We had a pleasant and joyful stay :), food was delicious and had been served very fast. The waitress had been very friendly and polite! We can recommend the cocktails a lot !

I did not enjoy the ambiance of this place, it does deserve a serious refurbishing. Service was very long as we arrived at the same time as a big group. But ramen was very good, exactly what one would need on a cold rainy evening!!

Good ramen, good price and nice staff

The atmosphere here is great. There are toilets here. The flushing of the toilets is gorgeous. Be sure to look up at the ceiling there is an anime wallpaper there. In the women's restroom you can look at Naruto in Chinese and another anime that I don't know the name of and in the men's restroom there is dragonballz and another anime. I had the tonkotsu ramen and the portion was on the smaller side but still good.

We were looking to eat in the area and picked out this place by chance and overall it was very enjoyable. My son had the sushi that came well presented and he enjoyed it a lot, and my partner and I had the chicken and pork ramen. The pork in the ramen was fatty which I didn't enjoy so much, but the chicken ramen was a big hit with my partner. Overall I would recommend the place.

For authentic handmade noodles & dim sum. Check this place out. My god the cha shieuw dim sums are good👌🏼. the Tonkotsu is amazing. You can taste the love for food this family has.

Heerlijk gegeten met super vriendelijke bediening! Wij hadden twee vegetarische gerechten, rode curry en tofu ramen. Allebei goed van smaak, ook cocktails waren goed!

Wij waren initieel gezien heel benieuwd om in dit restaurant te eten, omdat we weleens hadden besteld en dat erg lekker was. De ervaring in het restaurant veranderde dit echter voor ons. Wij hadden ons netjes aangekleed, maar dat had niet gehoeven want zelfs het personeel was in trainingspak gekleed en de andere gasten ook heel casual. De sushi die we hadden besteld was erg lekker, echt een aanrader. De dim sums alleen niet. Deze proefden als de bevroren versie die je ook in de toko kan kopen en meestal vind ik die zelfs lekkerder. Ze blonken wel uit bij het hoofdgerecht, dat tevens een aanrader is. Het duurde alleen erg lang voordat we konden bestellen en daar hadden ze een QR optie voor bedacht. Handig, maar onpersoonlijk. Ook het arriveren van de gerechten duurde erg lang. In het restaurant zelf hadden wij veel last van geluidsoverlast van andere gasten en vlogen er veel vliegen rond. De tafels waren plakkerig. Na een lange tijd gewacht te hebben op het dessert, de 'monchi's', waren wij zeer teleurgesteld. Wij eten vaak mochi ice cream en deze horen erg zacht en plakkerig te zijn. Deze waren echter hard en korrelig en ook zelf na een tijd ze te laten ontdooien, hadden ze dezelfde textuur. Wederom denk ik dat de diepvriesvariant van de toko de winnaar is. Ik zou daarom deze plek niet aanraden om een rustig avondje uit eten te gaan.

Nous avons commandé 4 ramen 2 au bœuf 2 végétarien le personnel était tres accueillant et tres gentil les ramens était tres bon avec une petite préférence pour ce au bœuf je recommande

Look authentic, nice service. We ordered the chicken noodle and the Noodle Soup Tofu, overall for us the taste was blend, these are iconic dishes so was surprised. Will come back next time to try again

A lovely little place, decoration and appearance is nothing very special, looks like a typical Chinese takeaway with some extra seating. we had the sui mai dumplings and they where gorgeous, also the sushi the California roll was amazing. for mains had two noodle dishes these where OK but disappointing compared with the starters. would definitely return.
