best bahn mi I’ve had in Amsterdam!

We had a lovely dinner here last week. The restaurant is beautiful and the atmosphere is pleasant. The food was delicious. My girlfriend's gluten allergy was also well taken into account. We rarely find a place with so many gluten-free options. We were also pleasantly surprised by the cocktails on the menu. The Kyoto Sour is truly fantastic. Nooch is definitely highly recommended! We thoroughly enjoyed our evening.

The service is excellent. The team is social and friendly. I am rating this establishment with only one star solely because the quality of the food is poor. We have dined here multiple times, and on each occasion, we experienced illness. Our orders consisted of chicken dishes and after 5 times of having eaten here (we always have ordered chicken) - the results have been the same. Never again!

Fantastic place! Very friendly service, amazing vegan selection, everything is absolutely delicious. The vegan duck is very good, and so is the gin and berry cocktail.

So happy that Nooch has moved from Utrechtsestraat to the Kinkerstraat. It’s a huge win for our neighborhood in Amsterdam Oud-West. If you’re looking for solid Asian Fusion, this is definitely the place to go. The Food: The menu is fresh and offers great value. Must-try: The vegan duck pancakes are incredible (even if you aren't vegan). Favorites: The Pad Thai is very authentic, and the red curry salad is a surprisingly fresh combination of flavors. Drinks: Don't skip the strawberry and elderberry G&T—it's one of the best cocktails I've had lately. The Vibe: The service is warm and impressively quick. It’s a perfect spot for a casual date or a dinner with friends. The interior is a bit dark, so keep that in mind if you prefer bright lighting, but it adds to the cozy, intimate atmosphere. Highly recommend if you're in the Kinkerbuurt area and want a quality, quick meal!

Very tasty, friendly service, clean restrooms. You do sit a bit close together, but that's nice because you know what the food looks like. Only when we left did we get stuck because the door handle came loose. This problem was known, but according to the owner's staff, it wasn't allowed to be fixed. A customer eventually managed to free us. We'll be back.

Service, food and atmosphere are incredible. Soft music, warm and absolute high quality food. Especially the broth is authentic, not like the other soup and pho restaurants where everything tastes like msg. This is not to salty, just perfect. The meat is also great!

A fun and varied menu featuring dishes from various Asian countries. Plenty of allergen options, and the staff are knowledgeable about their own dishes, helpful, and friendly. The food is high-quality (don't forget to try the tofu croquettes as a vegan and gluten-free alternative to the chicken wings) in a beautifully decorated restaurant.

Had a really good experience here. The food tasted amazing and you can tell care is put into it. The girl working there was super friendly. Also a huge plus that the food is fully halal. Honestly just a great place with good flavours and a nice atmosphere. Would most definitely come back!!🌟🌟🌟🌟🌟

The menu at Nooch is wonderful! We had the bahn mi, gyoza, spring rolls and dadar gulung along with vietnamese coffee and jasmine tea. One word: delicious! Service is excellent. Nooch is a must visit in Amsterdam!

An absolutely superb restaurant. The service is friendly and welcoming. While everything was good, the Pad Thai was simply perfect. Definitely the best I've ever had. If you're looking for an Asian restaurant in Amsterdam, this is definitely the place. We will certainly return when we're in the area. Thank you to the whole team for a wonderful experience!

We had a delicious meal at Nooch. The satay ayam and pad Thai are highly recommended. The restaurant is cozy, they play good music in the background, and the staff is super friendly.

I had Nooch starred from a previous visit to Amsterdam. Sadly, I'll be removing it from my favorite places. While the food was good, the service was none existent. We were seated, waited 20 mintues for anyone to come by. Then it was a rush to order... that was the last time we saw our server. I honestly thought her shift was over or she had quit. No one had come by to refill our water or to ask if everything was good. Another server finally came by to offer us more water after we were done eating. We had intended to order dessert but decided against it because of the lack of service. I hope management reads this outloud to the waitstaff. I want this place to be great.

I’d probably say it’s a 3.5; We came here for lunch and really enjoyed the shrimp tempura roll, it was fresh, flavorful, and definitely the highlight of the meal. Unfortunately, we were a bit disappointed with the pad thai and noodle dishes. The portions felt quite small for the price, and the flavors were a bit underwhelming, especially when compared to similar spots in Amsterdam. That said, the service was good and the overall atmosphere was nice. With a few improvements on the mains, it could be a great place all around.

Gluten-free safe food if you advise them you're celiac. Great food and service. I recommend the Pho and the Thai salad.

Food was decent but could have been more better.

We ate at Nooch and it was simply fantastic! The crispy roasted duck was perfectly prepared and served with an incredibly delicious sauce. We also loved the red curry – aromatic, creamy, and perfectly balanced. I'd also like to give special mention to the friendly and attentive staff, who made the visit even more enjoyable. An absolute highlight was the homemade passion fruit lemonade – super refreshing and highly recommended! Overall, a fantastic experience – we'll definitely be back!

This restaurant!!! We ordered chicken wings to share, one pad thai for me and one sweet and sour chicken for my bf and they were able to make everything gluten free, without giving up the taste. The service was also super good, both the girl and the guy working there were super nice and friendly, and the restaurant vibe was super as well. Highly recommended!

Really nice Asian fusion. All the dishes we had were fresh, tasty, and good value. The cocktails were also awesome - especially the strawberry and elderberry G&T. Tonnes of vegan options too, or the ability to make meat dishes vegan/veggie. Pad Thai was good. I also liked the red curry salad - it was an unusual combination of fresh and curry flavour. The highlight was the vegan duck pancake YUM! Service was warm, super quick, and would go out of their way to make sure you’re comfortable and have a nice time. A nice spot for groups, family dinners or dates. Will definitely be back!

Food quality was good, but nothing special. We had 2 rice dishes, 1 drink and water for 62 euro.. I know we are in Amsterdam, but thats too pricey for the portion in my opinion. Service was good, but when I didnt leave a tip the mood changed immediately.

We went to this Asian fusion restaurant for dinner and were delighted. Everything we tried was delicious, with very well-balanced and original flavors. The waitress was super friendly and recommended the house specialty, the Nooch Ura Maki, which was a great choice. We also ordered the Nooch Paz Thai and some meat and fish rolls with a house sauce, which were spectacular. We were also pleasantly surprised by how well they handle celiac disease. They are well-informed and explain everything very clearly, which is greatly appreciated. Without a doubt, this is a place we will return to. Highly recommended.

First time at the new location. Much nicer than Reestraat. Service was fantastic! The menu has expanded, but because we were there for lunch, we couldn't order all our favorite dishes. We did try the Bahn Mi, and we had the Thai Chili Beef, which was delicious. We also had two sushi dishes, which were also excellent.

The food was good and tasty but nothing that would make me visit the restaurant again. Specially after overcharging us +3,5€ for a fried rice that we did not even ordered

Spicy Nasi Goreng Kambing, Gui Con Rolls and Pangsit Goreng Guicon Rolls were smaller portion than how guicon rolls usually are made. There is no trademark peanut sauce (but instead there is peanut toppings). Pangsit Goreng has chicken inside wonton wrappers, a bit bland but the sweet chili sauce makes up for it. Even though the wonton balls are deep fried, you don't feel greasy upon biting it. The Nasi Goreng was slightly disappointing. It was bland, we could not taste the savory/umami of usual Nasi Goreng, the spice was there but the sweet soysauce and shrimp paste flavor which supposedly adds to the savory flavor was missing. It was a good serving size, with lamb meat (which was also bland), carrots, spring onions and cucumber. We had to ask salt and add it to our already mixed together dish at some point because it was too bland. We hope this was just one bad experience. Customer service and atmosphere was great.

We had great service by Liewe, and the food was delicious too. The restaurant’s atmosphere was nice too. We recommend the flambé salmon roll, and the dadar gulung (?) dessert :)

I was very disappointed with the food. The starters were clearly not fresh—frozen and dropped in the fryer, leaving them greasy and lacking any real flavour. The main dish was no better: extremely salty, greasy, and over-seasoned to the point of being unpleasant. Unfortunately, nothing we had was enjoyable. Where we sat we could see the kitchen - nearly everything was either microwaved or just taken out if of a box and fried. For the price point you can do better, literally anywhere.

There are many Asian dishes to choose from, the food quality is also good, the waiters are friendly and kind, they just moved to a new shop, there is a 20% discount promotion, and it is more affordable☺️

As an Indonesian living in the Netherlands, I can testify that the nasi goreng and bebek goreng here taste authentic!

Amazing restaurant, the staff were all super friendly and it had a great vibe. The gluten free options were clearly marked on the menu and the beef teriyaki was incredible. My partner loved his sushi so much, he ordered a second serving.

It was the opening day and I can understand some unexpected things might happen. The food was really delicious but the service could have been better. There was a big gap between the bites and the food. Also we felt the downstairs area a bit too noisy. Overall really good. Thanks

Visited twice for dinner in May 2025. Delicious pho, spring rolls and sesame chicken wings! Great service as well. Can get noisy when busy.

I was looking for a comforting and hydrating meal after my long flight. I stumbled upon Nooch and had the best noodle soup of my life. Highly recommend the vegan crispy soy duck!

Table for two at this restaurant, I was extremely satisfied. I took some Uyani Udon and the person with me took a gluten-free Chicken Noodle Soup. Both delicious and really generous portions. Really friendly staff. For example, the gluten-free alternatives were immediately illustrated (since I had written it in the booking notes) and we were asked if we wanted cutlery instead of chopsticks in case we didn't feel comfortable, not by everyone. Average prices but absolutely justified, I dare say that I paid very little for the overall experience.

This was our first meal in Amsterdam and it was outstanding!!! It was that good we wanted to return, but it was fully booked. They dealt with my gluten free needs as I have coeliac disease and they were friendly and attentive My husband and I had chicken wings and then I had chicken pad thai and he had chicken fried noodles and it was all delicious!!! We will be back! ❤️

Best Thai Salad! Spectacular cocktails!

Although the food was a sign of bitterness, it was not bitter. Pad Thai was delicious. Udon was also nice. Tempura Maki was nice. Gyoza was nice too. We drank a bottle of French wine, it was nice.

Found it as one of the few places serving Asian food at 10:00 pm on a weekday. The cocktail ‘matcha mule’ was interesting & different. The seafood noodles as the main course was such a disappointment at €23 nonetheless. Just get over greasy with no spices or flavour at all. Was hungry & spent this amount so ate it but was a huge miss. Also, while servers were v warm they seemed understaffed. No one came to ask if I needed anything else or if food was ok. I was waiting & hoping to atleast get a chilli oil to add some flavour. Was in Amsterdam for a night & this was my meal so a bit disappointing!

Venimos a comer cada vez que estamos en Amsterdam. Es bang en medio de 9 calles y muy accesible durante las compras allí. La comida siempre es interesante con la porción justa. El personal es servicial y eficiente. Es una excelente parada en boxes. La próxima vez vendremos a cenar. Esta vez vinimos con amigos que realmente disfrutaron de la comida.

A wonderful restaurant that impresses not only with nice and a pleasant atmosphere but also extraordinary delicious food. Very fair value for money and a clear recommendation for an evening with friends but also a business diner or even a romantic date.

If u wanna experience 'taste of asia', just say "more spicy". When you want to eat hometown food, you go and choose bamboo rice and any noodle dish and ask for it to be spicy. They make it really spicy.

After many wanderings at other Asia fusion restaurants, we ate at Nooch today, we had a delicious meal in a relaxed atmosphere with very good and friendly service. The food was very tasty and the portions were also more than sufficient, perhaps a small tip regarding the sushi, as far as we are concerned the portions could be a bit smaller so that you can have more choice if there are two of you, otherwise no complaints whatsoever. We would love to come back in the future

Just going to say a rat ran through the restaurant right before my food came out. Only got 10% off my entire meal :/. The electricity also went out. Lol… I do not recommend

Very nice ambience and service, a plethora of multicultural cuisines to choose from on the menu. Flavour profiles of the starters are quite nice, but the pho could have done better. The sushi roll was pretty tasty though, great restaurant overall!

Really good food, best asian food I have had, I had the duck and it was so tender but the outside was super crispy and flavourful. The red wine was delicious, very comfortable place, nice and quiet.
