Restaurant Nooch in Grachtengordel-West

We had a delicious meal yesterday; the service was very friendly (a lady) and she took the gluten allergy into account. There are many options and the food is good.

Everything was very good. Lots of gluten-free dishes, and as a celiac, I can assure you they were really good... I didn't have a bad time!!! Anyway, a really nice place with so many good dishes: noodles, sushi, ramen...

I have Celiac disease and they were so knowledgeable and careful with my order. They even have a gf dedicated fryer. The sesame wings were truly incredible and the Beef Japache noodle dish was so delicious and filling! highly recommend it!

We came back here because the food was amazing last time. Unfortunately, the menu has changed, and items such as the satay, some sushi, and a chicken dish have disappeared or been modified. It was also no longer possible to order individual bimi or broccolini. It is a real shame, because those were precisely the reason we kept coming back. The food was otherwise fine, but we do miss the old menu!

We had a delicious meal with family. Great tableware, the Mouchi ice cream was very tasty. Highly recommended.

Food was delicious and service was excellent! Our daughter has to eat gluten free and her meal was also excellent, with the staff knowledgeable about she could eat. Our only other comment was it was quite warm in the restaurant. But all else was great. We highly recommend it!

Food & service were great. But please do something downstairs about the acoustics - it’s far too loud just with people talking. We couldn’t hear each other without screaming. Foam the ceiling and under the tables and anywhere else you can.

Fantastic experience, my wife and I was over in Amsterdam for the weekend visiting our son and his girlfriend for their birthday. We wanted to celebrate with a really nice meal and Nooch didn't disappoint. The food was delicious, the atmosphere was lovely a nice buzz but before the rush. And. Louis are server went above and beyond making our experience extra special. The four of us had a wonderful time. Thank you

The most well-deserved 5 stars. We ordered the duck noodles, Tom yum noodles, and Pho Bo here and it certainly did not disappoint. There’s no other way to put it, this place is amazing. The Pho Bo was perfect. As Vietnamese people, this dish managed to tick every box. The broth was perfectly seasoned, the meat was tender, they even had all the needed herbs for Pho (basil, ngo gai). The Tom yum soup was perfectly tangy and has your mouth watering from the first sip of the broth. The duck noodles also were thin and well cooked, duck was fragrant, and the added touches of ginger in the broth made it well seasoned. It’s safe to say, our family dinner was completely silent, only momentarily broken to speak about how amazing the food was between sips of broth. I definitely recommend to stop by this place for good dinner, or even when you’re missing home!

My husband and I had a lovely time here! It's a very comfortable atmosphere and the food is delicious (although mine was a bit salty, it was generally very good). I wish there were a few gluten-free sushi options on the menu, but I appreciated how clearly marked the menu was. I definitely recommend making a reservation for dinner - we were happy we did when others were being turned away.

I really wanted this place to be better as I missed a good Asian fusion near my house, but as I left the previous time a bit disappointed (Bumbu Bali the last time was good but drowned in the sauce), the issues still stand. We waited forty minutes for the food, and while I appreciate the service that proactive admitted this and offered beers on the house, the food itself wasn’t worth waiting for. Spicy Nasi Goreng was not spicy, it had no flavour at all, such a bland dish, and this is “fried rice”: the dish was more of a rice porridge with meat which is disappointing. I feel like the kitchen needs just a little tuning and love, and this place could shine so much more, but it’s not there just yet.

A definite recommendation!!!🍣🍤 The staff was extremely friendly and attentive. We ordered sushi without rice and were absolutely thrilled. It was the best sushi I've ever eaten. 🫶🏻✨️☺️ We'll definitely be back!

Visited Nooch with friends, the food was delicious and the service was very attentive. In short, a truly delicious meal!!

Huge portions, good price and delicious food! 😋 I’m definitely coming back! Cooking time was also super fast. The food was on the table within 5 minutes (Wednesday evening). I had thai salad with beef and its really good. Homemade lemonade comes with different flavours and you can also ask to adjust sweetness! I had one with mango :) Excited to try duck soup and sushi next time!

This was one of the best places I've eaten in Amsterdam! Gluten free, and nut free! We had the sesame wings, the fried rice, the beef pho, and the Japanese Ice cream. As well as the mango lemonade and pineapple juice. Everything was beautiful, and full of flavor!

We went here for Valentines and even though there were some problems in the kitchen, it immediately got communicated with us and they came with a solution. I’ve been here before and I’ve always loved the food here

We had a lovely dinner here last week. The restaurant is beautiful and the atmosphere is pleasant. The food was delicious. My girlfriend's gluten allergy was also well taken into account. We rarely find a place with so many gluten-free options. We were also pleasantly surprised by the cocktails on the menu. The Kyoto Sour is truly fantastic. Nooch is definitely highly recommended! We thoroughly enjoyed our evening.

So happy that Nooch has moved from Utrechtsestraat to the Kinkerstraat. It’s a huge win for our neighborhood in Amsterdam Oud-West. If you’re looking for solid Asian Fusion, this is definitely the place to go. The Food: The menu is fresh and offers great value. Must-try: The vegan duck pancakes are incredible (even if you aren't vegan). Favorites: The Pad Thai is very authentic, and the red curry salad is a surprisingly fresh combination of flavors. Drinks: Don't skip the strawberry and elderberry G&T—it's one of the best cocktails I've had lately. The Vibe: The service is warm and impressively quick. It’s a perfect spot for a casual date or a dinner with friends. The interior is a bit dark, so keep that in mind if you prefer bright lighting, but it adds to the cozy, intimate atmosphere. Highly recommend if you're in the Kinkerbuurt area and want a quality, quick meal!

Very tasty, friendly service, clean restrooms. You do sit a bit close together, but that's nice because you know what the food looks like. Only when we left did we get stuck because the door handle came loose. This problem was known, but according to the owner's staff, it wasn't allowed to be fixed. A customer eventually managed to free us. We'll be back.

Service, food and atmosphere are incredible. Soft music, warm and absolute high quality food. Especially the broth is authentic, not like the other soup and pho restaurants where everything tastes like msg. This is not to salty, just perfect. The meat is also great!

A fun and varied menu featuring dishes from various Asian countries. Plenty of allergen options, and the staff are knowledgeable about their own dishes, helpful, and friendly. The food is high-quality (don't forget to try the tofu croquettes as a vegan and gluten-free alternative to the chicken wings) in a beautifully decorated restaurant.

The menu at Nooch is wonderful! We had the bahn mi, gyoza, spring rolls and dadar gulung along with vietnamese coffee and jasmine tea. One word: delicious! Service is excellent. Nooch is a must visit in Amsterdam!

An absolutely superb restaurant. The service is friendly and welcoming. While everything was good, the Pad Thai was simply perfect. Definitely the best I've ever had. If you're looking for an Asian restaurant in Amsterdam, this is definitely the place. We will certainly return when we're in the area. Thank you to the whole team for a wonderful experience!

I had Nooch starred from a previous visit to Amsterdam. Sadly, I'll be removing it from my favorite places. While the food was good, the service was none existent. We were seated, waited 20 mintues for anyone to come by. Then it was a rush to order... that was the last time we saw our server. I honestly thought her shift was over or she had quit. No one had come by to refill our water or to ask if everything was good. Another server finally came by to offer us more water after we were done eating. We had intended to order dessert but decided against it because of the lack of service. I hope management reads this outloud to the waitstaff. I want this place to be great.

I’d probably say it’s a 3.5; We came here for lunch and really enjoyed the shrimp tempura roll, it was fresh, flavorful, and definitely the highlight of the meal. Unfortunately, we were a bit disappointed with the pad thai and noodle dishes. The portions felt quite small for the price, and the flavors were a bit underwhelming, especially when compared to similar spots in Amsterdam. That said, the service was good and the overall atmosphere was nice. With a few improvements on the mains, it could be a great place all around.

Food was decent but could have been more better.

We ate at Nooch and it was simply fantastic! The crispy roasted duck was perfectly prepared and served with an incredibly delicious sauce. We also loved the red curry – aromatic, creamy, and perfectly balanced. I'd also like to give special mention to the friendly and attentive staff, who made the visit even more enjoyable. An absolute highlight was the homemade passion fruit lemonade – super refreshing and highly recommended! Overall, a fantastic experience – we'll definitely be back!

This restaurant!!! We ordered chicken wings to share, one pad thai for me and one sweet and sour chicken for my bf and they were able to make everything gluten free, without giving up the taste. The service was also super good, both the girl and the guy working there were super nice and friendly, and the restaurant vibe was super as well. Highly recommended!

We went to this Asian fusion restaurant for dinner and were delighted. Everything we tried was delicious, with very well-balanced and original flavors. The waitress was super friendly and recommended the house specialty, the Nooch Ura Maki, which was a great choice. We also ordered the Nooch Paz Thai and some meat and fish rolls with a house sauce, which were spectacular. We were also pleasantly surprised by how well they handle celiac disease. They are well-informed and explain everything very clearly, which is greatly appreciated. Without a doubt, this is a place we will return to. Highly recommended.

First time at the new location. Much nicer than Reestraat. Service was fantastic! The menu has expanded, but because we were there for lunch, we couldn't order all our favorite dishes. We did try the Bahn Mi, and we had the Thai Chili Beef, which was delicious. We also had two sushi dishes, which were also excellent.

Spicy Nasi Goreng Kambing, Gui Con Rolls and Pangsit Goreng Guicon Rolls were smaller portion than how guicon rolls usually are made. There is no trademark peanut sauce (but instead there is peanut toppings). Pangsit Goreng has chicken inside wonton wrappers, a bit bland but the sweet chili sauce makes up for it. Even though the wonton balls are deep fried, you don't feel greasy upon biting it. The Nasi Goreng was slightly disappointing. It was bland, we could not taste the savory/umami of usual Nasi Goreng, the spice was there but the sweet soysauce and shrimp paste flavor which supposedly adds to the savory flavor was missing. It was a good serving size, with lamb meat (which was also bland), carrots, spring onions and cucumber. We had to ask salt and add it to our already mixed together dish at some point because it was too bland. We hope this was just one bad experience. Customer service and atmosphere was great.

I was very disappointed with the food. The starters were clearly not fresh—frozen and dropped in the fryer, leaving them greasy and lacking any real flavour. The main dish was no better: extremely salty, greasy, and over-seasoned to the point of being unpleasant. Unfortunately, nothing we had was enjoyable. Where we sat we could see the kitchen - nearly everything was either microwaved or just taken out if of a box and fried. For the price point you can do better, literally anywhere.

We had great service by Liewe, and the food was delicious too. The restaurant’s atmosphere was nice too. We recommend the flambé salmon roll, and the dadar gulung (?) dessert :)

There are many Asian dishes to choose from, the food quality is also good, the waiters are friendly and kind, they just moved to a new shop, there is a 20% discount promotion, and it is more affordable☺️

As an Indonesian living in the Netherlands, I can testify that the nasi goreng and bebek goreng here taste authentic!
