Wok to Walk in Burgwallen-Oude Zijde

I bought the wok for 13 euros and chose the least spicy option, but as soon as I started eating, my mouth literally felt like it was on fire. My friend ordered the medium spicy version and could not finish it either, even though we are both used to eating spicy food. The dish tasted only of spice and after a few bites our mouths started burning. We even added teriyaki sauce, which is sweet and should balance the heat, but it made no difference. In the end, the food was literally inedible for us and we could not finish it.

Small place where you enjoy the most delicious Asian food.

Bland and overprice, definitely not worth the money.

This is a MUST anytime I pass through to Amsterdam. The food is addictive and filling.

Pad Thai was cooked to perfection and udon’s noodles were delicious. We enjoyed our lunch here.

Super convenient, easy and inexpensive. The shop is always crowded, so the name is also advice. Walk!

Bruh ! It would be so good but the SPICE was crazy - yesterday we did medium spicy in a different location and it was chill, we did it again today and holly molly that was a crazy one 😵‍💫 Even out low cortisol sigma dad couldn’t handle and had to eat a Dubai chocolate bar to stay on the level 67 gyat 🫠 🍫 maybe if they would serve matcha the spice would be alr but without that KILLS

Accidentally forgot to hit the no eggs selection on my order and when I said I was just gonna order another one, he said no problem and remade it for free. Great food, great service, and great people.

The food was ok but a healthy option for that hour of the night when all what’s available is just junk food. Their service is quite fast and their food is ok

Delicious food within minutes, so if your hungry and need a quick delicious meal this is the place.

Perfect, well priced stop for lunch or dinner in central Amsterdam. The ‚make your own wok‘ option was perfect for us, you can keep it cheap and simple (from 7.90€) or add lots of extras to make it bigger and more expensive. Really recommend!!

I ordered shrimp pad thai. It tasted like burnt eggs. It was the worst pad thai I've ever had.

Very good and freshly prepared Pad Thai, but unfortunately there are only a few seats. You need a bit of luck to find a free table. Otherwise, highly recommended.

Cosiest and right place to eat wok style food. Food is always prepared on the spot from scratch, and spicy level can be customised. Only downside is the addons like friend onions, coriander are 0.99 euros which is higher on rates. This should be reduced to make it avg and in affordable price

Really delicious and quick noodles with variety and also a couple of seating areas outside , price is always high in Amsterdam so at least you get fulfilled with this dish

Food in Amsterdam is expensive. This place gives you excellent value for money. Can’t recall the name of what I ordered, but it was very good. Went back a couple of days later and ate there again. Very tight fit inside, but no complaints. Just be aware of the cellar door!

Service absolutely awful. Got served by Zahid. Rude and doesn't acknowledge anyone waiting. Seemed to served others of other entities other than mine.

Amazing chicken Pad Thai. Best dinner I've had in Europe in 6 weeks. Hot and fresh and perfectly cooked. Really solid piece of juicy lime for me to squeeze over it too. Perfecto! Two tables inside and I think one bench seat outside but the concept is they are easy to eat on the go anyway, and they are, out of the boxes, so I would have been happy to take it away and find a random seat or just stand around and chow down.

I placed the entire order and customized it to my liking. Just as the dye was coming out, I told the guy I'd ordered the wrong chicken and asked if I could change it. He said no, it was already done, and I said, "But the ticket just came out two seconds ago!" and he ignored me.

The best I've ever eaten. We ate here 3 times in 2 days. I highly recommend it.

We tried the chicken with noodles and the chicken with white rice With vegetables and spicy 🌶️ — both were out of this world! 🌎 The flavors were amazing 🤩 , perfectly spicy, and everything was cooked just good . Honestly, one of the best meals I’ve had in a while. Totally worth it! 🔥🍜🍚

I had a Wook with udon noodles, champions, pork and teriyaki sauce and it was delicious! Moist, flavour full with some vegetable they added and I would absolutely come here again and try another combo. My boyfriend had the egg noodle with oyster sauce and chicken and it was just as tasty! Even though the music wasn't necessarily what we go for we were jaming to it. The staff were so kind, fun and just overall great!! I had an amazing time while having an amazing meal! Thank you so much for the food!!

It's my favorite! I always go there with my gf, and friends! I love It... Sorry for the space because it's too small. Better to take aways... Maybe you can sit to the canals....

Small space packed with friendly staff. My friend and I visited for a quick dinner on our vacation and the food and vibe did not disappoint. Based on where we sat inside, person stretched across us for additional napkin and utensils while we ate which is a testament to the tight space.

Just another wok place in Amsterdam center.

This place is great for a late night snack. If you are ever drunk in the middle of the night in the centre of the city, this is the place that will fill you up. The food is good and they prepare it fast. The only thing missing was some atmosphere. There was a small table inside and two benches outside and they weren’t especially clean. Some people didn’t clean up after themselves so we had to wipe it off.

We checked the prices on the reviews and saw an old menu... So we saw the wrong prices. It was a little disappointing when we saw that it wasn't as cheap as we expected. We ordered a Yakisoba egg noodles dish, and a customized Udon noodles with teriyaki sauces+ drinks. We spent each of us 14,65€ and 17,75€. Kind of expensive for a bucket of noodles and a cola, but at least they give a big amount of food. Thes staff was kind and easy going.

Been here few times. Best music in the town. Dunno which language was it tho but really really cool! Ate so many times and didn’t paid cause no one can see me !

I have known about Wok to Walk franchise for a while now, since I was an usual at Wok to Walk in Riga, Latvia. The place is small but really nice. I like that they have a self-order option. You can also choose what you don't want in your dish - which is not common in other wok places. For a big portion of Wok, I paid 12€ which is pretty cheap for Amsterdam. There was a lot of meat, and the Wok was steaming hot and terrifyingly delicious, but even then, I couldn't finish it.

It is a small establishment because, as its name suggests, it is a takeaway, but at least they have two small tables inside if you want to sit down. The food was delicious and the portions were very good for dinner. Between two dishes we didn't pay more than €30 and the truth is, they served us super quickly after ordering. (:

Terrible rude staff, avoid!!! Don't waste money here. I made a short list after reviewing on internet, and this place was one of them so we went and started to look for a place to sit, as soon as we saw a few stairs we asked if there was space up there and one of the employees (the oldest one) started making fun with us and said that's his office and repeated that we (guests) should go and clean it. He was laughing and having a good time, terrible and wired thing. Didn't tried the food because we left, we were couple and didn't want to ruin our day but that guy deserves a good lesson!

I was given the wrong allergen information. I told the person taking my order I had a wheat allergy He told me the sauce only had soy in it, which ended up being wrong! After taking my first bite I was still uncomfortable so I asked if there was any document that had allergens. What do you know... the sauce had also gluten as an allergen. The allergen card should just be posted in a visible place, and anyone working there should check what the allergens are if they don't know! Almost every sauce had gluten in it, so it seems like he had no clue the allergens so just guessed. I am happy I only took one bite so hopefully things aren't too bad, I will ring out tomorrow... but if I had trusted the person taking my order 100% chance I would be sick for days.

Please it’s really important it is a gift I forgot my coffee cup there if you find it please keep it I will pass by on Monday morning again. And thank you for the excellent food.

Wanted to try this tiny wok restaurant while I was touring Amsterdam. Everytime I walked by there was a big queue. So I waited for the last day in the afternoon and got in straight away. Cooked with lightening is spot on. Beautiful egg noodles, light spice and I got beef with broccoli. They add in some bean sprouts, green shallot and carrot too. Everything is cooked perfectly. I asked the male chef his recommendation for the sauce and he was so happy I did that. Trust your chef, they will guide you to a food coma. Thanks from an Aussie tourist. Come here guys, they know what they are doing. Limited seats is no problem there's spaces outside on the bridge to eat, which is what I did. Cheers!

As always, it’s delicious and the team at this restaurant is particularly adorable. They are responsive and prepare the wok to perfection! You can adapt all dishes to your diet and allergies. Be careful there are only 10 seats so you won't really be able to eat there...

Very cool experience. One dish cost between €10-20. A bit much for a snack. But cool to have tried it. It was definitely delicious!
