A few years ago, it was a great place where you received a warm welcome. But after tonight, we won't be back. It took ages to get our food. We finally got our two pieces of sushi, and the next dish arrived 25 minutes later. It took forever. If it had been busy, we would have understood, but there were only six tables occupied. We also didn't get the impression the waitresses were really trying; they had to work. It's a shame. We ordered drinks, and half an hour later, we had to ask where our drinks were. Then they arrived with our dessert, which wasn't very helpful. The table next to us was a mess after the customers left. It stayed that way until the end. An hour and a half, it was awful. And the waitresses had all the time in the world; it's unbelievable that they don't have a clear overview. Now, we only saw one adult in the kitchen. All in all, we were incredibly annoyed and unsure whether to say anything. We just let it be. Oh yeah, they didn't have any change at checkout. My tip is, make sure someone who knows how to run a restaurant is in charge.

Went for all you can eat. Were not too happy about the experience. The food is very basic; little choice, little variety, none of it very good (they deep fry the gyōzas, why..). It's fine, but almost every other restaurant in the vicinity has been better so far for the same or a better price. I can't say anything about a la carte cause that menu is way different, but for all you can eat I would not recommend it. Service is fine, but ordering only every 15 minutes is pretty annoying. Usually it's 10, which is way better, now we were waiting a lot in between courses. I also had to order on my phone, so I felt like I was checking my phone half the diner, I don't like that system. Takes away from the experience of dining out. Improvements would be: Better food, more choice (add the rest of your menu for example, amd add more ice cream than vanilla, chocolate and strawberry.. Come on..), tooth picks and cleaning things with the ribs and a 10 minute order round.

Really enjoyed this place! The atmosphere is cozy and beautiful, with plenty of space both for groups and for coming alone. Comfortable chairs, a nice view and friendly service make the stay very pleasant. The sushi was delicious, the ice cream was very tasty, the fresh orange juice was great, and the coffee was also enjoyable. The lava cake was nice, but it didn’t have the liquid chocolate ‘lava’ inside that I expected. Overall, I really liked it and will definitely come back!

Just had a delicious salty soup and a chicken curry sandwich. Don't be fooled by the name of this restaurant, because that's what it is. Besides Asian food, they also serve excellent Surinamese food. Highly recommended for a good meal at a reasonable price! 🥰

This was our third time here, and it was delicious again. The service was friendly and attentive. Delicious roti with chicken! Highly recommended. The vegetables and potatoes were delicious. The fried plantains with satay sauce were delicious. We will definitely eat there again. One caveat: the restaurant was open as usual (see above), but according to the website, it doesn't open until 5:00 PM. That's a bit of an adjustment.

Just like the other negative reviews, this is a bad experience. In general I don't leave reviews, because every 'all you can eat' has a bit of the same price-quality ratio, not here. I got to eat the least tasty, dry sushi I've ever experienced, that says something. Stay away from here, even if you think you got a good deal via SocialDeal or Tripper, it's not worth the money.

Came here with a voucher from Univé. We had a nice lunch. The food was really delicious. The offer was not very extensive but what was there was really great. Not much vegetarian but some. Friendly service and we got our food very quickly. We could sit at the window. Everything was clean, toilets too etc. I definitely recommend this restaurant on the cozy square!

Picked up food. Price for takeaway is less than eating in the restaurant. Plantain was nice and hot and crunchy, but oily. A big plus is that all the food was hot and neatly packaged. We also had a roti chicken and a saoto soup. What we missed was Taste. Both dishes were tasteless. Chicken masala, potato/long beans tasted very watery. Saoto soup smelled delicious but the taste was neutral. The filling of the saoto soup was very sparse. We paid around €30 for everything.

Today we thought we would try out a new eatery, as we have had many in Utrecht. Well, we left during dinner. We have never experienced anything like this before! At first it took almost 45 minutes before we got sushi. The children had their fries after fifteen minutes. Sushi was a 3, it wasn't horrible but it was different. Next came the bland nasi and noodles that were most likely reheated in a microwave. The fried food was very greasy, when you touched it your finger was immediately covered in oil. The sweet potato fries were fried way too long. We received our drinks in a glass, not a bottle or can. One of us asked for a bottle, which they didn't have for coke etc, but they did have for Fanta. While drinking we see a dirty orange sludge at the bottom and an orange line at the neck of the bottle, so we looked at the expiration date, it said 28-02-2025, today is 15-04-2025. We will never come back here again. Our evening ended with nausea and heartburn.

Ate here yesterday and at first I was enthusiastic. I often eat at places where you can order Asian dishes per round and have always had good experiences with them. I was not here, however, entirely voluntarily. The bachelor party I was part of was scheduled here for dinner. If I knew where we were going and had seen the reviews, I would have skipped dinner. Although the staff was very nice, we had to wait a long time for our food, just like many other people here experienced from the reviews. But that wasn't the worst part, me and two others from the party got really sick today and we all ate the same food. We think that some of the dishes were waiting for a long time to be picked up and that they turned out bad. I hope the owner of the restaurant reads this review, because waiting for food is one thing, but getting sick from it is really not okay and even dangerous. I would think three times about eating here. In any case, I won't be coming back until things are improved in the restaurant.

The card is limited in options. We didn't like the food. The chef was unable to serve a dish in the same way twice. If you have an allergy, I would recommend not eating here; with tuna/salmon sushi I got crab with salmon. So we were not served what was on the menu and what was ordered. In terms of meat, only fried chicken is available, so no red meat dishes.

When I gave feedback that the sesame balls were still too raw in my opinion, the answer I received was 'that's how it should be'. Here is the photo (photo 1) of the sesame balls that were delivered to me, which are completely white, so raw. With the 2nd photo (source Reddit) showing how it should actually be. The plus point is that the service was fast (reserved time 5 p.m.) and that you could order one after the other fairly quickly.

I cannot fault the atmosphere in the restaurant and speaking of the staff: very friendly and really nice. Unfortunately, there is less positive to say about the food. Everything was a bit bland, from the sushi to the Korean chicken. The chicken in the sushi gave me the impression that it had been reheated in the microwave. There is also not much good to say about the Korean chicken. This tasted a bit like I was chewing on a Michellin car tire. Another downside was the coke without a shot. It tasted a bit like my younger brother had left the bottle open and forgot to close it properly. It's a shame, I wasn't able to properly rinse away the bad food. What also struck me was the waiting times between rounds. You have a maximum of 3x dishes per person. You can then wait another 18 minutes to order again. And then you also have to wait until the food arrives. This actually destroys the concept of “All-you-can-eat”. To end on a positive note, the toilets were very neat and clean. All in all, the staff is very friendly, but the food is not to your liking.

An absolute nightmare experience! We ordered in rounds, but from the first round we already had to wait 45 minutes. Of the 15 dishes we ordered, we only got 6, and that was after waiting forever. When we ordered again, it took over an hour before we got anything again. In the meantime, the servers were chatting behind the bar while our dishes were getting cold. The service was downright rude. Dirty plates were constantly on all tables, and when we asked for a spoon, we were just given forks because the cutlery had run out and the other cutlery was apparently dirty. A group of 13 people were crammed into a table for 10 – a truly ridiculous situation! This restaurant really has no respect for its customers at all. Never here again!

Had a surprisingly nice and quiet dinner on Saturday evening for 2 people. Occasionally I mixed up some dishes, but that didn't spoil the fun. Addition/adjustment: I do not agree with the other negative reviews at all. I think we had a service of 3 out of +- 12 occupied tables. Went just fine. After sitting down at the table, we had to ask if the app could be activated for our table, then spent more than 2 hours eating delicious dishes that were served quickly and friendly. People who complain that you can "only" order 3 dishes every 18 minutes... what kind of food stall are you used to...?... and then complain about Febo quality? Oh yes: bonus points for the large glasses of soft drinks!

What a sad intention. A sushi roll here consists of two pieces, which is ridiculous. You can only order every 18 minutes, and three dishes per person sounds normal, but when you see what you get, it's really a joke. The portions are so small and the food is not tasty either. In addition, the menu is also scandalously limited. At all-you-can-eat you expect choice, but here you can hardly order anything. And if you choose something, for example with the “beef ketjap” you literally get a car tire on your plate. Not tender, rock hard, you can chew it for minutes and even with a glass of tap water you can hardly get rid of it. A few years ago it was fine here, but now they are just stingy. After 40 minutes we paid the bill and left, purely because the food wasn't worth it. Really a waste of your money. I sincerely hope they have to close the place down soon.

Well...why are people eating here.., I really did not believe the lower score reviews but they are absolutely right. The food is very bland, chicken taste like nothing and has a dry texture. Even the chicken with honey does not taste like honey. The ordered beef same dry texture. It seems that this restaurant is ruin the horeca standard imho, If the ownwer of this restaurant reads this..stop your bussiness asap you do not understand what you are doing. If you even thinking of going dining here at Miyabi, please go to sushi San in Zeist or Sushi restaurant Ponsu in Utrecht city for a serious tastefull dinner. Please don't eat here is a vriendly warning for disappointment...

We asked if they also served tap water and they agreed. Unfortunately the bill included glasses of chaufontaine at 3.50 per glass. Too bad. The waitress got the wind out of her, but the bill could not be adjusted completely. Too bad, a better service for the customer is to also serve tap water, if necessary for €1 or €1.50 per bottle. With all that salty food, a little extra fluid is not a luxury, but I don't want too much alcohol or sugary drinks and I think bottled water is just scandalous for the environment in the Netherlands. Next time we will go to a restaurant that serves plain water

We wanted to give it a try after reading all the bad reviews, everything you order you only get 1/2 pieces, you can only order once every 18 minutes, so you are still hungry all the time, the food is also a bit mediocre, the staff is nice but not recommended for the food or anything. The best sushi place in Utrecht is really the ixi Asian cruise that I will really spend my money on from now on because I never want to go here again!

Sushi very tasty but you can order too little per round. You can only order 3 items per person per round and you only get 2 pieces of sushi per item. The atmosphere in the restaurant is good and the girls who work there were super nice. However, we just didn't like the food. Everything was pretty bland. The sushi lacked flavor, but also the duck or lamb chop. The soy sauce wasn't very tasty either. Everything really lacked flavour! They weren't nice sushi pieces either, not neatly rolled. Of course, if the taste was good it wouldn't really matter, but that really left a lot to be desired. We thought the quantity of drinks was a plus, you really got a good glass of drink for what you paid. Toilets were neat and clean.

Unfortunately, my experience at this all-you-can-eat sushi restaurant was disappointing. The quality of the food really left a lot to be desired, and the freshness of the sushi was substandard. It felt like everything was prepared quickly and without attention. The service was impersonal as everything was arranged via a QR code. There was hardly any interaction with the staff, which made the experience very unpleasant. The atmosphere in the restaurant was also minimal; it felt more like a canteen than a cozy eatery. Finally, I thought the price was absolutely disproportionate to what you get. For the amount I paid, I expected much more. I would advise everyone against eating here. This restaurant is absolutely not worth the money and effort.

The food was really delicious, we made a reservation for 5pm on a Wednesday evening and it was nice and quiet. The restaurant itself looks very attractive and the staff was very friendly. The food was delivered quickly and the empty plates were also collected quickly, so very good service.

We went with a large group to the games fair at the Jaarbeurs in Utrecht and decided to end the day with a dinner. On Social deal we found a promotion for unlimited Sushi at Miyabi. We were a group of 12 people but were given 3 tables of 4 people. On the one hand, it's uncomfortable because you only speak to 3 people and not the rest of the group. On the other hand, there were tables with benches, and then you would have to go over each other with 12 people, so that was handy. There was a QR code per table so you could order food with your mobile. We had to do all this on 1 mobile. I personally don't find that useful, since one person always has to hand over their mobile phone. I also don't find it very pleasant to use a mobile phone while eating. Unfortunately, ordering did not go well at first. We later booked an additional person. This had not yet been processed properly, so we could order less for 1 person. This was eventually resolved and we were given extra time. At first glance it's a sushi restaurant like any other. I did think that there was little choice of dishes compared to other sushi restaurants. If you ordered a portion, it sometimes consisted of 1, 2 or 3 pieces.   So it was a bit of a surprise how much you got. So it wasn't always the same and neither was the amount of the picture. Fortunately, you didn't have to pay for what you didn't eat, as is the case with many restaurants these days. That is not only nice because of the unclear portions, but also because not everything was equally tasty. For example, the chicken was very dry. The restaurant has a nice atmosphere and the service is very friendly. I had the impression that you had a more personal service here compared to other sushi restaurants. Because you were often served by the same person.  In return, everything took a very long time and even though it was not very busy. The toilets were not that clean. I'll spare you the details of the toilet brush. Also, the soap didn't just run out. The old soap packaging was also still on the sink. In short, with more choice, faster service and sushi that tastes better, I would come back, but for now I'll leave it at this one time. Legend: 1) Terrible! I don't recommend it, I will never come back! 2) Too bad, below my expectations, I won't come again. 3) Ok, nothing wrong with that, but nothing special, nice for once. 4) Fine, worth coming back. 5) Excellent! I recommend, I will definitely come back!

what a terribly bad restaurant! Hugely understaffed, supposedly due to illness, but they simply accept reservations an hour before the start, how?? In 2.5 hours we have not yet fully served the 2nd round with 3 people. we couldn't stay longer because we still had somewhere to be. When we received the bill, which was quick, we indicated that this was really not possible, then by God's grace 20% could be taken off the bill, but to apologize for the bad experience and wish you a nice evening was apparently too much to ask. ....very expensive 33 euros (with the discount) for 4 very small dishes per person spread over 2.5 hours. Never again! what a deception!!

I would never go back again, the photos of the dishes on the internet are misleading... Uninviting place with little choice of sushi. The sushi is quite warm and soft when served, which makes it appear as if it is not fresh. Staff have no idea what they are doing and a manager is nowhere to be seen. Upon arrival we ordered a bottle of cava rose (which is on the menu), and we were told twice that they were working on it. After almost 45 minutes (and already a few rounds of sushi) she arrived with a regular bottle of cava, which had also already been opened!? We indicated that this was not what we had ordered, to which she replied that this was the only one they had... then we just ordered soft drinks and a glass of water. The menu said €3.50 for a glass of mineral water, which was then served without a bottle and just tasted like tap water. Toilets were downright filthy and looked like they were still being renovated. Do yourself a favor and go to Umami in Utrecht or Shizen in Vianen, for a little more money you have an extensive menu, delicious sushi and friendly, knowledgeable service. We won't go here again.

Well, you waited 45 minutes for your sushi… and you finally left. The few pieces of sushi we did get were tough, dry and tasteless. The hot snacks came straight from the febo. The fries that we ordered out of misery were full of grease. This is definitely the worst sushi “restaurant” in Utrecht. The restaurant itself has no atmosphere whatsoever, a bit like the waiting area of ​​the Kwikfit, except that the Panorama and the Telegraaf were still missing from the table. The 2 stars for the service was only because the girl who served us was friendly. All in all… highly recommended. Hopefully something else will come there soon. A Febo could easily fit in there, and it's better to pick up the sushi at the jumbo next door.

There was also a girl walking around who was downright insulting to the customers, but also did not do justice to the name of the restaurant by sneering that it really wasn't that much fun working here, or when I was told that I had already been sitting on a drink for 45 minutes. to wait that had already been promised several times, she muttered: well, that happens often. The worst dinning experiences ever in my life. 1 food: almost all options is pre-made and fired in the oil. The sweet potato fries are overdone. All kind of meat we tried are tasted weird. The fried rice n noodles are only have noodle and rice. 2. Service: no service at all, there are total 5 tables, still serving wrong without apologies. The worst is taking my plate n my tableware without asking if I still would like to continue. 3 we booked via social deal for 2 adults as my daughter is only 2 year old. We just are informed upon arrival that kids are charged 14.70 no matter what age ! But this isn’t mentioned in the social deal booking condition. 4. No kid diaper changing facilities in the restaurant and never ask if we would like to have child seat. For now I just hope tmr I have no issues with my stomach.

What a very bad evening we had here. We tried to have something to eat here with four adults and three children. Our reservation from 1.5 hours earlier had not yet been noted and it created an awkward atmosphere because we were allowed to sit at someone else's table. We ordered, among other things, 1 certain beer but received another and the waitress immediately rushed away after putting it down. Furthermore, we only received 1 round of sushi instead of the 3 we ordered. After asking 3 times whether something would be made for us or whether we could forget about it, still no answer to that question. We received the wrong scoops of ice cream, so we quickly placed a new order with the correct ice cream, which then suddenly arrived quickly. In short, there is no system, everyone just does what they want. Got up to pay and then put the children to bed after 2 hours and 15 minutes in which they had to share all their food with the adults, it was suddenly ready during payment and we were labeled as a family in a hurry and were told didn't listen to our side of our polite evening, because there was nothing they could do about it... Ridiculous ball joint. We will never come here again.

We had a wonderful evening here. The food is great, really delicious freshly made sushi. Don't expect all you can eat food shack scenes here, it is pleasant and peaceful to enjoy your food here. This is an absolute must to go to. The service was top notch, we were regularly asked if everything was satisfactory. The atmosphere is also very pleasant. Not a noisy and large restaurant, but nice and small and quiet. Music subtly present in the background so that you can communicate with your table companions in a normal way. Truly one of the best sushi restaurants I've been to.

The food was downright bad. The fish was not fresh and extremely dry. The fish was poorly cut, making it very tough. We barely ate anything and when I pointed this out, there was no solution but the bill. I will never go here again and I strongly advise against it. Atmosphere was good, great staff, but the food was very disappointing. I am a big fan of all you can eat sushi restaurants and we tried this one through social deal. The sushi differed per round, in the first rounds even the rice was not really good (okay, but a bit dry as if it had been there for a long time), in later rounds the rice was good. But everything else tastes extremely cheap. Salmon tasted like the cheapest smoked salmon from the supermarket, for example. Crispy Ebi was tasty but still not great. The other dishes were really gross, gyoza wasn't even eaten and spare ribs were really inedible. Yakitori seemed so hard to mess up, but it was very large pieces of chicken on a stick with no sauce and not fried properly. Other dishes were okay but fried in old fat and also tasted very greasy. Cocktails were very watery. I thought the people in the reviews were just too critical, but you really have to believe the bad reviews haha. In Utrecht it is better to go to ixi, for example.

Came to eat twice as we were staying in the hotel nearby and it really made the stay amazing. Gorgeous place on the beach well decorated and lovely friendly staff members. The service was very fast and delicious food! We would have loved to try more things but we were leaving! Also so accommodating for our little dog bringing water and a treat each time we came in. Would love to see it in summer when the weathers better to sit outside! 😄
