Had a delicious meal, beautiful location.

Very nice and surprising. Nice menu and very tasty lunch. But the terrace was a great place to sit. We didn't have much sun, but it was dry and the temperature was good. So, a pleasant place to spend time.

Scandalously expensive parking. 7 euros for 1 hour!

Had a drink, and a few things are crawling past your sun lounger.

Nice little place with friendly staff. My wife ordered a meal that tasted very different from what we had expected; that can happen. Then I gave her one of my club sandwich rolls, and with the very first bite, a large piece of stray bone was found. We mentioned it at the end and received a discount on the meal in question.

Fine restaurant, but not really recommended if you are looking for a filling dinner. The dinner options are limited for a multi-course menu. However, it is recommended for a smaller appetite, with many options for small portions and good food.

Lovely spot by the Veluwe lake. We had a delicious bite to eat here at the end of the day... Nice and friendly staff, very attentive. Be prepared for little rats running back and forth across the outdoor terrace around sunset. I thought they were cute... They cannot be exterminated due to the protected nature reserve surrounding the restaurant.

The terrace, advertised on the site as “by the water,” was disappointing. Due to the tall reeds and vegetation, you cannot see the water from the terrace. Ordering a burger without frills like sauce, lettuce, and bacon is difficult for the kitchen. We were sent back twice before it finally arrived just a bun with a burger. The specials on the menu that we did enjoy turned out to be available only for dinner. This is clearly indicated on the menu. A bit sloppy. All in all, it was somewhat disappointing.

Lovely place and food was delicious. The mermaid sandwich was dreamy. Would have been 5 stars but the service was a little slow and had to find menus and then go online for the kids menu. However, the kids tomato soup and meatballs was a big hit.

Our order: Nagouz (3/5) Good, but they put too little guacamole and potato chips (not the same as at Chills) Bitterballen (0/5) Not very good Cheese roll (3/5) Seared tuna (4/5) Fried shrimp (3/5) Smoked salmon sandwich (4/5) The total came to 35 dinars, which is honestly expensive for appetizers.

We sat down and had apparently chosen a table in the waitress's blind spot. It took 20 minutes before we finally decided to ask if we could order something. Then we finally received the lunch menu; it doesn't list any children's dishes, as that is a special menu. We were sitting at the table with children... so after searching and then calling the waitress again (because they don't come on their own), we were given a children's menu. We decided what we wanted to eat, then put the menu down, and again no one came to take our order on their own. With the wait staff actively calling out (who also stubbornly looked the other way), it took an hour before we had drinks and could order something. Apparently, it is NOT a smoke-free terrace, so we were sitting in other people's chimneys when we finally got our food. Furthermore, there were cigarette butts everywhere in the sand where the children were digging; there was even a butt in the salt and pepper holder... The food itself wasn't special but otherwise fine; the atmosphere was mainly ruined by other people's smoke.

The nachos were way too salty. "We've heard that before," was the response: "Then do something about it."

The food was great, the service amazing. We needed some extra tubs of ice cream and were so kindly given them to take with us. Top-notch place!

We went there spontaneously yesterday. Since we hadn't made a reservation, we were able to sit at a high table in the beach area. That was perfectly fine for us. The initial service was quite slow, but the cleanliness, friendliness, quality, and selection of food were outstanding! Vegetarians will also find plenty of options! The drinks menu is extensive, with a very good selection of different beers. We can wholeheartedly recommend it.

We really wanted to eat here; it looked very cozy in a beautiful location. Unfortunately, I cannot give stars for the food, service, or atmosphere because we were unable to charge our car here. Google said there was a charging station nearby, but unfortunately, that was not the case. It would be nice if there were a charging station; I think more people face this challenge.

Visited Key West for the first time. We had lunch with two club sandwiches, one mini pancake, and one croissant, along with three soft drinks and a Fristi. That cost €62.00. That is quite pricey, but we enjoyed our meal. You get a return parking ticket for every €20 spent. We were with two cars and received two, so I would describe that differently. In any case, a nice place to eat or have drinks!

Had a quick drink, but didn't stay for dinner. Ordering drinks took a long time, even though the three waitstaff were standing behind us. It's a huge play paradise for small children, so there was a lot of screaming and crying. If you like a relaxed beach bar vibe, skip this place.

NEVER AGAIN! What a disappointing experience. We drove all the way from Almere and eventually left after only 40 minutes (I took a photo when I entered at 14:09, and when I walked out at 14:48, I called my husband to tell him how ridiculous I found this situation, so I know exactly that we were there for about 40 minutes). Upon entering, I was never asked once if I wanted a drink or to order anything. The table I sat down at was still dirty, but I deliberately chose that spot because it was closest to the play area so I could keep a close eye on my children. After waiting for about half an hour, I walked inside myself to ask if anyone was coming to our table or if I should order at the bar. I was told that someone would be sent to me, but I didn't see anyone; they were standing together at another table, though. Ten minutes later, I got my children ready to leave. I went outside with a crying child. At the door, they didn't even realize we were leaving, as the staff were busy talking at length about a horror movie that kept one of the staff members awake at night. I waited until their conversation was over and indicated that I was leaving myself, because I still hadn't been helped and had been waiting for over half an hour. The response I received was mostly stuttering and no real solution or apology. That is why I just left. A very bad experience and absolutely not a place we will be returning to.

Nice place, prompt service. Only the conservatory offers a view of the water; the terrace itself does not. A bit of a shame. The food was good. However, I was surprised at lunch to receive a toasted sandwich while the menu listed a brioche. That made the dish less surprising. It did taste very good, though.

Lunch is served at midday. There are very affordable dishes to enjoy and a wide selection of beers. Plus, free parking is available upon presentation of your restaurant receipt. 👍

A really lovely place to eat. You can sit outside with your feet in the sand. The food is delicious and the service is old-fashioned good; they really do their best. Even at 35 degrees. Highly recommended.

Really, really, really terrible 👎 It is nice that this place is located on the beach, but the food, the quality, and the service are truly terrible. We regret choosing this restaurant for a special occasion. Even McDonald’s would have been a better choice. The “chicken nuggets” for the children were ice cold on the inside. They looked more like pieces of fat in a coating of breadcrumbs than chicken. Truly disgusting. Don’t subject your children to this. The service was slow and inexperienced. The food was mediocre and, moreover, way too expensive for what you get. €15 for four shrimps and €6 for a portion of fries… 🤣 All in all, a bad choice. Really, really, really terrible 👎

Reserved table was dirty, service was slow, Risotto and steak for €48.00, appetizer portions of mediocre quality. Never again.

Disappointed, we were there with two couples. The staff at our table kept changing. All the burgers were too spicy and not tasty. One of the burger patties was burnt. We only got the fries. Our complaint was dismissed with a simple "sorry." A shame, great location, but we won't be eating there again.

Last night we thought we were going to have a nice meal. Unfortunately, it was a huge disappointment. For those high prices, you would expect something. Unfortunately, the spring chicken was not properly cooked and was even still raw inside, which even led to complaints later, and all we were told was: sorry, I will pass it on to the kitchen. This was our first time here and we will not be coming back.

The staff has no respect for customers! We were served by 5 people, but nothing was on time. We ordered 192 euros, three steaks, 3 Greek salads, Korean chicken, cheese sticks, two beers and a coke. In 15 minutes they brought us the salad and cheese sticks. So we sit and wait... no cutlery😅 we went and said and then they brought it. Then we finally started eating. It's hot, we wait longer and they don't bring us the drinks!!! We caught the waitress and told her about it, she said she would go and check🤣 well... they brought it anyway, but not right away. So we ordered more water and beer, they were gone again, no steaks. A fifth waitress comes to clarify everything and goes to serve the others. 55 minutes passed (we started the timer) and then they brought the steaks! And there is no water and beer🤗 they brought us when we had already eaten everything and it was time to go home!!! Regarding the food: the salad was like hay, huge pieces of those leaves, I tried to cut them off, and they all stuck together! The steak was delicious, but the menu said grilled with vegetables, and they just brought raw zucchini and potatoes, horror!!! The price is like in a restaurant, 45 euros for a steak! There are no napkins, toothpicks, there are a lot of cobwebs under the table that I climbed on. There is no regular hand soap in the toilet, although there is a box for liquid soap. They saw me taking a picture of it, but nothing has changed. Why did they bring the beer I ordered with the steak when dinner was already over, that is, everyone was waiting for me to drink it and we would finally leave.

We ate here in the evening during the winter. Nice restaurant, delicious food, and friendly service. But very expensive. And the music was too loud. A real shame, because otherwise we would come much more often in the evening.

It's bizarre that you can get a beer everywhere for €4 on the Bokkentocht, and here it's suddenly €6.

A mix of good and bad. We were here without a reservation on Friday, May 1st. It was the May holidays and the weather was fantastic. First of all; as a beach bar, it shouldn't come as a surprise that it's busy. The restaurant is situated in a lovely spot and is beautifully decorated and laid out. These are truly top conditions for having something really good. Upon entering, it was noticeable that the staff were in complete confusion or seemed uninterested. We found a table, had to wait a very long time for a menu and to be able to order something. It was noticeable that various staff members kept trickling in and that they were constantly asking/correcting what needed to be done. They had absolutely no idea; there was no plan and zero direction. A gentleman next to us asked after 20 minutes where his cappuccino was and was told that if he had been waiting that long, it would ‘surely be arriving soon’…. Food was served and was nothing special, but it was neat, looked fine and fresh, and tasted good. My requested glass with a slice of lemon with the sparkling water never arrived at the table, despite asking twice. The impression I got was that the kitchen was in order, judging by the plates I looked around at. However, the service and management are severely substandard. It is incomprehensible that an establishment that seems to have everything it takes to be very successful is managed so incredibly poorly ‘on the floor’. Staffing is undoubtedly complicated, but the people who are there should at least know what they are supposed to do. Owners/managers: there is (a lot of) work to be done! Oh right; and a smoking area under the canopy at the entrance is really unacceptable….

Very tasty food. We had the Key West Classic Burger (highly recommended) and the Smashed Avocado. The service was good, very fast and friendly staff. The atmosphere is good, and the view is nice too, but the children run around.

It’s a nice laid back quality place in an area where there is just not a lot like this available. Of particular note is that they have a varied menu for kids, and a solid playcorner in the outside (sandy) area. Is the perfect place for parents to kick back and “go out” while the kids play. Too bad they don’t have anything like that inside for rainy days.

The Vibe: A real hype. It is modern, hip, and attracts a crowd that loves a good time and a party. Not the place for a quiet book, but *the* place for excitement. The View: Absolutely a top location. Because you are on the east side of the water, you have a beautiful view over the Nuldernauw. The Sunset: As you said: stunning. That is *the* moment of the day there. The sky turns beautiful over the water, making it the ideal spot for a drink in the evening. Busy: It is often full and lively ("lots of people"), which contributes to the energy of the place. Tip for others: "Are you looking for a hip spot for a drink with the best sunset in the Veluwe? Then this is the place for you. Make sure you arrive on time to get a spot on the terrace!"

We had an incredibly delicious and enjoyable dinner at Key West this evening. What a beautiful spot – especially during sunset over the Veluwemeer. The food was super tasty and beautifully presented as well. You can really tell that attention is paid to quality and details. The service was attentive, friendly, and fast – exactly as you would hope. And an extra plus: they are dog-friendly! Our four-legged friend was immediately spoiled with a bowl of water and dog biscuits. Highly recommended. We will definitely be back here.

Because Key West is located so close to the A28, it was a pleasant stop for dinner for us. After being quickly shown to a table, we were able to put together our dinner while enjoying our first drink. The starter was mouthwatering. The main course (small chicken), don't let my granddaughter hear this, was also surprisingly tasty. There were also some nice whiskies on the menu. It's such a shame I still had to drive a bit. I think I'm going to give them another call sometime to see if they would like the idea of ​​us organizing a whisky tasting there.

We had a tasty meal, but the service, especially regarding the drinks, was not good. We received the drinks 15 minutes after the meal. We hope they get things under control because it is a beautiful place in a great location with a good menu.

Nice place with a nice view. We were greeted in a friendly manner upon entry, but after 45 minutes we left with dry throats. It's a real shame because it was cozy, but waiting 45 minutes for a few beers is ridiculous.

What a fantastic evening we had yesterday at your restaurant! The location is superb, with that amazing view of the water where we watched the sun set beautifully. What a lovely place to dine. We started with various starters to share, and they were so good! The tuna tataki and bao buns were superb: full of flavor, excellent quality, and surprisingly generous portions. The main courses also tasted exquisite and were very generous again. We didn't think it was necessary at all that fries and salad aren't included as standard; we shared a portion of fries and that was more than enough. And then the dessert... Wow! The red velvet cake filled with white chocolate ganache was truly delicious. As far as we are concerned, this Valentine's special deserves a permanent spot on the menu! The brownies were also moist. Finally, we would like to compliment the service: very hospitable, helpful, and incredibly friendly. All in all, we had a fantastic evening. We highly recommend dining here!

Came to eat twice as we were staying in the hotel nearby and it really made the stay amazing. Gorgeous place on the beach well decorated and lovely friendly staff members. The service was very fast and delicious food! We would have loved to try more things but we were leaving! Also so accommodating for our little dog bringing water and a treat each time we came in. Would love to see it in summer when the weathers better to sit outside! 😄

I definitely recommend eating here. There's something for everyone. The atmosphere in the restaurant was very pleasant. As the evening wore on and more people left, the staff started tidying the restaurant. One of my guests got a table leg in his way, and we had to keep asking if we could order something.

A super nice spot, but... We were sitting in the lovely sunshine today, so we were thirsty! We didn't see a waitress outside for at least half an hour, which is a shame! If it's busy, I can understand it, but it was incredibly quiet...

Beautifully situated beach club. Due to the beautiful weather, it was (apparently unexpectedly) busy. The staff paid little attention to the guests and didn't respond to gestures or a raised finger. After asking for the bill, the young man walked past a few more times, without making any attempt to actually settle the bill. When I gave feedback on this, the bartender became defensive. The soup, spring rolls, and fried eggs were okay.

Great place, I'll definitely be back, hoping the owner reads all the reviews. The coffee is absolutely awful! And the dolled-up blonde "head waitress" should just cooperate and be a bit friendlier to her colleagues. They're really nice, hardworking people, and you shouldn't snap at them in front of customers.

I really enjoyed it; everything was delicious, from the main course to the dessert and the wine. The service was a pleasant surprise; we were given the chance to sample the wine and beer before ordering. The waiters were always smiling, constantly coming over to ask if everything was okay and how we liked this or that portion. And the atmosphere at sunset was simply amazing; I was there with my girlfriend, and it was very beautiful and romantic. I recommend reserving a table if it's a weekend. There's also a parking barrier to enter, but the restaurant will give you a voucher for free parking, which you can use when you check out.

We went twice with our little dog 🐕 it was no problem 👍 the service is very good and the food was delicious, we ate the burgers 🍔 🍔 twice and fish 🐟 and chips once, both of which we can highly recommend, if we are in the area again we will definitely stop by, maybe you will have Ramazzotti or Averna on offer then 😉

The prices are truly exorbitant: €4 for a simple 200ml Coke. Furthermore, the presentation was rather dull, and the food was disappointing – very little for the money. All in all, not good value for money.

A really nice place with a great menu. The food is excellent with surprising flavors. A few dishes weren't particularly flavorful. The Sunshine State combination of watermelon and ham was a bit lacking. A seeded red pepper and arugula with cucumber were the perfect combination. These were leftovers from other dishes. Recommendations: Tom Ka Kai soup, Korean Fried Chicken, Fish and Chips (a bit too many fries), the Mangrove burger, and the Key West burger. It was great that we had lovely music playing in the background, but we could still have a conversation at the table.
