Horrible service there's was nobody making me coffee 20 minutes didn't want to give wifi horrible

We ordered a mixed breakfast for 2 people... the performance was not sufficient for the price... one or two pieces of bagel and pastry...we asked for bread twice, hesitantly...the products were very mediocre in terms of quality...I do not recommend it, the price is too high...open buffet breakfast places are cheaper and have more variety...

The cuisine focuses on the Turkish and Anatolian regions, and the food is delicious. I recommend it to everyone.

This place is no longer simitci dunyasi, a nice simple breakfast with mıhlama and gözleme. Fast service, nice staff, warm gözleme, just need a little more content in the gözleme. Mıhlama was not particularly tasty, but still good to eat. Worth repeating

The breakfast was very limited, there was no tea. A bit of feta, a bit of borek salad, 2 round rolls and 3 pieces of Turkish bread Soup was spicy, not everyone likes it. I had a lot of stomach problems.

Very expensive for 4 snacks (20 euro). There was no menu or pricelist here. It felt like they just made up a price.

We ate baklava there then while going home my friend wanted to more baklava to take house of her house. We told that it should 1 portion but the sold it to us expensive than normal I didn’t tell anything because of respect to my friend but I didn’t like this behavior…

Spijtig om deze recensie te moeten schrijven helaas een een zeer slechte ervaring bij dit restaurant. Ik dacht iets lekkers te halen als lunch (wat minimaal gedaan word buiten deur) en dan is het een enorme domper als je 5,- betaalt voor een borek pannenkoek met aardappel waar je helaas alleen taai achtig deeg proeft en geen aardappel treft, er leek wel kaas op te zitten maar ook dit heb ik niet echt kunnen proeven. Voor 5 euro voor dit als lunch had ik zeker meer smaakexplosie verwacht ik waardeer de turkse keuken maar dit leek niets op wat ik voorheen ervaren heb bij andere bakkers. Jammer! Of ik de volgende keer nog een keer kom is voor mij een grote twijfel..

Vert friendly staff, nice atmosphere and great music! €36 for 3 people and we are all very full. Would recommend

Since the owner has changed, we will come here much more often, the service was fast, employees are friendly, we had tea, Turkish coffee and Turkish bagel on the house. Great people, come together with your family.

It is a place where you can find delicious Turkish pastries and eat them in a beautiful environment. Customer satisfaction is at the forefront. There was dissatisfaction with a product purchased, they made up for it when I told them. Parking is free for 1 hour right next to it.

Dane at the counter hardly speaks the language and also no English. Food was not properly absorbed and arrived later. She wanted to make it again and then the food was served cold. My discussion went very badly. Don't eat there. You don't get anything for your money.

On a Sunday morning I came here for a lentil soup for €5.50 with 3 pieces of bread. Normally you get simit (sesame bread) with it. I just don't think the super nice staff will turn it down if asked. It has been run for 4 months by the new owner, from whom I received the delicious Turkish tea for free after a nice conversation. The soup tasted great. I also had a healthy simit with veta cheese for 6.50. That also tasted very good. With their long opening hours, this place was one of the few available for a Turkish breakfast. It is a very cozy, colorful, relaxing place, definitely worth repeating the next time I'm in the area for work. I also bought handmade half moon cookies for a nice price.

I don't recommend this place early small tea got big sugar was brought late. I ordered an omlette, more than half of my plate was iceberg lettuce and fries did not arrive until after my plate was finished

Nothing to say, other than the food is nice as breakfast and the staff is nice. Especially the Lebanese man. I recommend the simit breakfast with cheese and salami. Only downside is that the music can be loud inside.

There was a lady who checked with her hand whether the water pastry was heated or not and touched the top of the pastry. Also, do not drink tea in the evening because it is stale. It's definitely not good.

I came here to have a drink. Cappuccino was undrinkable! It was more like a lukewarm glass of milk, barely any caffeine in it. Was told; that comes straight from the coffee machine. Simitci, that round sandwich was rock hard, something to say about this and it was quickly heated up (employee who does not speak Dutch). I will never come back here again! This tent has seriously deteriorated.

I went to Simitci Dunyasi in Utrecht with my partner for breakfast on Friday morning. When we sat at the table, my partner read all the reviews and started having doubts about the service and serving time. Luckily we didn't experience anything bad. The staff was very friendly and caring. We had our breakfast on the table within 10/15 minutes even though it was quite busy. Simitci Dunyasi is definitely worth repeating for us 👍🏽

Very bad place , the staff are racist. Once they heard us speaking non English or Dutch language. They started treating us badly they were rude. It’s shameful that such racist staff are hired and allowed to treat customers with discrimination.

Went to the store for lunch with colleagues. The staff is clearly understaffed. You saw the employee doing his best to help, but he hardly speaks Dutch. We were able to communicate somewhat in Turkish. Order took a long time because it was too busy for the employee to handle so many customers. There were also certain things missing in the place such as napkin and salt on the table. The ayrans we ordered were 3 days out of date. The famous menemen dish was far too watery. A panini quickly costs more than 9 euros. We thought we could make up for it with some baklava, we paid more than €9 for 4 pieces and they were no longer fresh. There is potential in the business, but the owner is either having difficulty finding staff or running this business.

Food fine, but you have to wait forever. Who knows, maybe they'll bring the food all the way from Turkey. Oh, not to forget that bringing a menu turns out to be very difficult. If you ask why it is taking so long, you will only get a comment that they are super busy with a maximum of 4 customers in the store. Getting an order right is also difficult. You have to ask twice where the rest of your order is if you want to have a chance of it arriving. All in all very poor service.

Ordered 2 healthy sandwiches. Had to wait almost 45 minutes for this. Then you get a tough supermarket sandwich with almost nothing in it. Staff shouting at each other very loudly. Not recommended at all. Bad experience. Waste of my money.

Aardig personeel en erg lekker eten! :) Het enige nadeel is de vieze sigarettenlucht op het terras... Gelukkig konden we naar binnen verplaatsen, waar je rustig kon zitten.

Heerlijke ervaringen gehad over de afgelopen tijd bij Simitci Dunyasi. Zo is de Simit heerlijk en de Börek met feta kaas er in is zeker een aanrader. De medewerkers zijn vriendelijk en hangt er een fijne sfeer.

Leuke ambiance, klantvriendelijk werknemers en heerlijke producten!! Zeker een aanrader.

Ben hier meerdere keren geweest en echt een fijn cafe. Heel hygiënisch, vriendelijk behulpzaam personeel, fijne muziek die niet te hard staat en natuurlijk heerlijk eten :) snap de negatieve reviews niet want heb dat nog nooit meegemaakt hier.

Average and too expensive for what you get. We had 2 wraps with different filling and the wraps were edible, but not worth almost 10 Euro/piece. Most ridiculous was that we had to pay 1.95 for some hot milk for in the black coffee that we ordered. Total coffee price came to 4,80 Euro. That's what you normally pay in the Hilton, but not in a simple canteen. The service was friendly. That's all I can say.

Vandaag voor het eerst wezen ontbijten bij Simitci Dunyasi. Heerlijk en compleet ontbijt voor een eerlijke prijs. Vriendelijk en aardig personeel. Wij komen zeker een keertje terug.

Lekker eten, goede thee, vooral erg lekkere simits. Maar personeel komt afgeleid over en ze draaien constant EDM - ook op de zondagochtend bijvoorbeeld.

Nu twee keer heerlijk op het terras buiten een drankje kunnen doen. Erg vriendelijke medewerkers. Even lekker ontspannen. Hopelijk tot snel weer!

lekkere soep 4 euro met Simit brood

Ik woon in regio Utrecht al een tijdje, maar tot nu toe dat is de lekkerst restaurant, ambachtelijke middenoosten gerechten voor weinige prijs. Bovendien krijg je te maken met super vriendelijk personeel.

Frisse viszaak met goede verse vis. Aanrader!

Een aparte combi van vlaaien/taartenwinkel en lunchroom. Vlotte bediening, heerlijke omelet en okee cappuccino. Deze winkel gaat t waarschijnlijk nog beter doen in dit opkomende deel van Kanaleneiland. De moeite waard!
