Monsieur Poulet in Transvaalwijk

On King's Day, on the terrace: a lovely glass of white wine overlooking the beautiful Spaarne River. The bread with aioli and the fried snack from the menu were delicious. The service was excellent, prompt and attentive.

The order had not been delivered after waiting for 1 hour. I called the restaurant; the order was ready and was about to go out immediately. An hour later, still no food. Called again and were told that the order hadn't gone through, even though it was ready an hour earlier. Thuisbezorgd informed me a minute later that the order had been delivered, but it wasn't!! Waited 2 hours for food that never arrived. The restaurant is offering nothing except waiting another 1.5 hours for food!

Just finished my meal at the Scampi restaurant. This gastronomic experience was unpleasant, to say the least, for both me and my business partners. This dinner was a waste of time, and the owner is therefore indirectly to blame for the decline in my stock. Thus, this evening meal became an extremely delicate affair. The utterly forbidding interior reminded me of my childhood, when I and my buddies would sometimes eat at the hockey club. If this restaurant owner had also played hockey, he might have had some manners. He would have known how to treat people of our standing. It's best not to waste words on the food; I wouldn't even dare give it to my naked cat.

Had a fantastic meal. Great service. Went home stuffed.

1 star is actually still too much. I ordered spareribs via Thuisbezorgd and explicitly stated that I wanted both the sweet and the spicy marinade. What I received were tasteless spareribs without any marinade. 🤢 How this managed to leave the kitchen is a mystery to me, because the entire order went straight into the trash. 🤮
