Wok Inn - Haarlem in Indischewijk

I've rarely had such a bad ordering experience as at Wok-Inn Haarlem. It took an hour and 20 minutes, and a single phone call just before closing time, for my food to finally arrive, which was a major disappointment. When the order arrived, it turned out the drinks had simply been forgotten. The food arrived hot, so it wasn't the delivery driver's fault. Furthermore, I ordered a large portion, but received a tiny container that was completely disproportionate to what I expected. Most frustrating of all: I specifically requested no onions, but my dish was covered in them. This made the food practically unpalatable. All in all, this was a truly disappointing order. No more Wok-Inn Haarlem for me.

Shame, worth 1 star!! The food here is greasy and tasteless. All sorts of ingredients are missing from 4 different dishes! Way too expensive for what you get. These are definitely NOT authentic stir-fries! Wow...those 5-star reviews must be FAKE and bought!! Read what people are writing...we unfortunately agree with the 1-star reviews and will never order food from here again!!!

We ordered two dishes. The first wasn't what we'd chosen, and the second was missing ingredients. To our surprise, they used basmati rice instead of the rice normally used in Asian dishes. They resent the incorrect order, but it was also incomplete and missing some ingredients. And it wasn't the same order we originally placed. A very bad experience.

I've also experienced them being late and using a lot of sauce, but they definitely acted on the feedback. The food arrived within 20 minutes, definitely not too much sauce, and it was quite hot. I really appreciate it when a company improves and acts on the feedback. My compliments 👍

Don't mind the 1 star reviews. Makes no sense. This shop gives you good food for a good price. Box is filled with good amount of toppings and it's delicious! Lots of options and combinations to choose from!

Never order food from here. I haven't left a bad review before, as that's how you ruin a business. But I ordered food at 4:15 PM for delivery at 5:15 PM for the kids (who were tired from daycare), and the food wasn't delivered until 6:30 PM. The wok had way too much sauce, more like soup. I could have made the food myself, but during my vacation, I thought: just make a quick and easy reservation in the neighborhood. Unfortunately, I had a different experience!

Placed an order for wok and spring rolls at 5:45 PM. It was supposed to be delivered at 6:30 PM. When I called at 6:50 PM, they said it would be shipped within a minute, but they told me the spring rolls weren't included. I paid for them, so I wonder if I'll get a refund. I finally received my wok at 7:15 PM. This was the last time I ordered from here. Update: Two days later, I still haven't received my refund for the undelivered spring rolls! They don't respond to emails or phone calls, disgusting.

My food still hasn't arrived after 2 hours and no one answers the phone. Ridiculous.

I also don't understand the 1 star reviews. Ordered for the first time via thuiszorgd and it was there within half an hour and delicious! Can definitely eat from it again so completely happy with wok-inn 👍🏻

This was not really good choice... zero from ten, never more !!

What a pity this is. We have ordered something 3 times now and every time something is wrong. Called twice about products they didn't have, but not even that tonight. I just have to see if I will get my money back. The food is tasty, but I couldn't find any chicken in my bowl. Only the tofu that I also ordered. Moreover, it takes more than 75 minutes for the food to be delivered. Unfortunately, this is the very last time we order here.

I don't really agree with the 1 star reviews from people here. I always do takeout. Good price-quality ratio. I eat a simple stir-fry with chicken, but they fill it to the brim. You shouldn't expect to get 400 grams of chicken for the prices they have here. Only once out of many times have it been a bit dry. Otherwise always satisfied actually.

What a crappy tent. Orders regularly go wrong and if you call to report this, you are treated downright rude. No excuses, no resolution. Service clearly does not exist here and customer friendliness is hard to find. If you're looking for frustration instead of food, you've come to the right place. Absolutely not recommended.

I often order here, but lately it has become less and less available. I don't get the wok without the things I had in it. Today I waited an hour and fifteen minutes for my food to arrive and I got the wrong sauce.

And yes, another ingredient is not present. This was the last time I ordered from here

Ordered double chicken but almost no chicken in it, I have to look for small pieces of chicken in that jar somewhere between a lot of vegetables and bami, it doesn't taste very good either and it's still expensive for what you get, never again!!!

The food is wonderfully fresh, the taste is always perfect. Furthermore, the service is really a 10/10. If something goes wrong, it is resolved promptly and the food is always delivered hot! I can only say that this is one of the tastiest eateries in the Haarlem/Velsen area. Highly recommended! You have a regular customer, keep it up!

I have ordered here often. But the last 4 times they managed to get that entire order wrong. I clearly state that I am allergic to EI and that I want rice noodles. And damn, every time I get either scrambled egg or egg noodles?? I don't know what's been happening lately. But it's not good. And when I call I get a big face. So tonight I won't even call anymore because there is no point.

Finally orders our food at 5:40 PM. It was very lukewarm, no basic vegetables and no egg. 1 container of no fried onion and garlic. I had to look for the chicken. Very unfortunate. It's also not what I'm used to, it's not that tasty anymore. I can get a new order, but I don't know yet whether I will do this.

Waited an hour and a half for nothing. I received a call 1 hour after my order was placed to say that the pineapple had run out, we resolved this instead of pineapple corn was fine. The girl on the phone said it would take a little longer and they would make it right now, Fine. Half an hour later I get another call saying it's in the pan but the sauce is gone... so you wait an hour and a half for nothing? When I canceled the order I got a big mouth from this little girl. Do something about the service!

Ordered food at 4:30 PM with 5:30 PM delivery time. It is now 6:35 PM and after calling twice I still have no food. I was told on the phone that it was ready for delivery an hour ago

If it would be a shop making pizza, kebab, wok and everyting at the same time i would understand the low quality. How come such terrible wok can be their speciality?

Can you put a little less spicy sauce in the food next time? It's quite a coin flip for you when it's too hot, or good. The food was very tasty though

unbelievable waiting time!!! the order was placed with the information that delivery would take up to 50 minutes, of course this time was extended, we called the pub and were told that they would be there in 7 minutes and we would receive a free Coca-Cola... after the call we waited another 20 minutes! total waiting time was 2 hours!! when the supplier arrived, it turned out that he had mixed up the orders and put the shrimp in the wrong place, i.e. in the pasta instead of in the rice... that was the last time. I do not recommend.. unprofessional approach.

Delicious food. Never experienced any problems. Always according to expectations. Quality, quantity, price, hygiene, etc. Collection always on time. Delivery never, ever experienced any problems. Easily accessible and communication is always good... It's very nice that you can adjust everything to your wishes. Recommended!!!

An hour delay compared to what was agreed. Cold food, pounding meat with a lot of fat on it, container filled with coarsely chopped vegetables... and expensive... same thing last time... not recommended!

2 hours to deliver and the food was really cold. Really disappointing.

I have been coming regularly for almost 3 years. But over the last 6 months it hasn't been as tasty anymore, the sauce is completely different. (Garlic black pepper) which I always ordered, it was my favorite, but I'm disappointed that has changed so much. Shame ..

Takeaway or delivery is great. You can make it as expensive as you want

Altijd goed. Ik kom er altijd voor rijst met rundvlees. Lekker pittige saus er bij is heerlijk. Trouwens ze hebben overheerlijke sate. Aanrader.

Heerlijk gegeten. Fijn dat je daar ook plaats kan nemen en kan eten. Ik ben niet handig met stokjes eten dus voor mij was er ook bestek. Wat we niet op konden ging in een bakje om mee te nemen😁

Vele malen besteld, 9/10 keer zeer goed eten mogen ontvangen. Bij de wat langer durende bezorging werd ik netjes op de hoogte gehouden, top !

De bestelling was iets later, ze hadden gebeld en 2 drankjes ter compensatie gegeven waardoor er verder niks te klagen was. Lekker gegeten.

Lekker eten voor een hele goede prijs. Super vriendelijk personeel die je altijd vriendelijk te woord staat wanneer dat nodig is. Foutje gemaakt; dan krijg je gewoon opnieuw je eten maar dan goed en gratis. Bovendien bezorgen ze super snel. Geef de bezorgers wel een fooitje heh.

Ik haal mijn maaltijden op en het eten is altijd goed en lekker. De bediening is erg vriendelijk, de ingredienten vers, je kan zo in de vitrine kijken en alles is echt vers. Ik ben inmiddels 4 geweest, ik blijf terugkomen....
