We visited the restaurant for dinner and overall had a really positive experience. Before arriving, we had to postpone our reservation by 30 minutes and were surprised to be greeted by an automated voice system, which turned out to be an AI assistant, and it handled the change smoothly without any issues. The welcome on arrival was adequate, though not particularly warm. One small detail we missed was receiving a tag or number for our coats at the cloakroom, which would have made it easier to identify them later. We started with the Taco with enoki and papaya. It was fine for the price, though we expected a crunchier texture. Both oysters we tried - the one with elderflower and shallot, and the one with black bean and leek - were excellent. A note for future guests: the bar only prepares drinks from the signature menu. We ordered the Honeybush, which was good. The room temperature, however, was pretty cold and could be raised for a more comfortable atmosphere. The Steak Tartare was not the classic knife-cut version you might expect. Its texture was closer to a meat cream, and the flavor of the beef itself was not particularly good. Still, the dish works well as a whole thanks to the peanuts for crunch, the vegetables and chili for balance, and the overall composition. As a complete plate, it was really enjoyable, even though the quality of the meat alone was not convincing. We were pleasantly surprised by the Gnocchi with feta and yellow curry. We had no specific expectations, but the dish was well executed: the gnocchi had an unusually crispy exterior, almost like a chip, while the curry was balanced and not overpowering. The feta and vegetables tied everything together nicely. The Rib eye was genuinely good, flavorful, and cooked very well. The side of potatoes with mushrooms was decent, complemented by a tomato cream that added nice depth. The Pulpo was one of the highlights of the meal: perfectly cooked, very tender, and served with a creamy potato purée and a bright pico de gallo. We also really appreciated the bread and butter which was really tasty, reminiscent of the Amsterdam-style presentations. For dessert, we ordered the Dame Blanche. It was good and had a subtle cinnamon undertone that reminded us of kruidnoten. Considering the overall experience, the fixed four-course menu is very fairly priced, especially compared with the average dining costs in Amsterdam. The restaurant delivered solid dishes with memorable highlights. We really loved this place and we’d definitely come back again!

Great experience! I recommend it. We booked a table in advance and got a window seat. The views are stunning and the food is good. 4-course menu. Atmospheric, clean restaurant. Friendly service. The only thing is that the waiter forgot to bring the drink a couple of times and we had to wait a while. However, it was definitely worth going.

It was a bit of a bumpy start because we, nine people, were split into two tables without prior notice. But with a little flexibility, improvisation, and customer service, everything worked out perfectly. The four-course lunch menu was delicious, the service welcoming, and the view—well, the view—was of Amsterdam and its surroundings ;-)

I was here with three other friends. The staff was very rude and impatient. The food was also awful.

The food and the view were amazing! You sit on a rotating platform, so you see the whole city passing by—truly amazing. We received explanations about the food with each course, and it was delicious and beautifully presented. The only downside to this restaurant is that it's clearly been taken over by tourists. The menu is in English, and many of the staff only speak English. We also barely heard any Dutch around us. A little further down, a group of British tourists sat down and shouted all evening and were rude to the staff. At one point, a Spanish couple sat down next to us. The woman in this couple felt the need to play videos on her phone at a very loud volume. After a while, the staff addressed this, but unfortunately, it continued. So, for a truly authentic Amsterdam atmosphere and conviviality, I would choose a different restaurant, one that hasn't been taken over by tourists.

We had a wonderful meal, were pampered, and entertained. Even if you lose the receipt, you can still ask them to send it back months later, and that's no problem at all. Keep up the good work!

We had an absolutely unforgettable evening at A’DAM Lookout, and it became one of the most memorable dining experiences of our entire trip to Amsterdam. The night begins in a very unique way: you arrive by boat, which already gives the whole experience a special and exciting touch. Upon arrival, the staff welcomed us warmly, and then we took the high-speed elevator up the tower — a little preview of the incredible views to come. A’DAM Lookout stands about 100 meters (328 ft) tall, right at the top of the iconic A’DAM Tower. From the moment you step out, you’re met with a 360-degree panoramic view over Amsterdam: the historic canals, the IJ river, the port, and even the Dutch landscape stretching out into the distance. It’s impossible not to keep turning around to admire the city from every angle. We dined at MOON, the revolving restaurant on the 19th floor. The restaurant slowly rotates a full 360 degrees over the course of the meal, allowing you to enjoy continuously changing views without ever leaving your seat. It’s truly magical — a mix of fine dining and a moving skyline. Before our visit, we submitted our food preferences on their website, and everything was perfectly prepared. The dishes were beautifully presented, full of flavor, and felt very high-end. Combined with the ever-changing view, the whole dinner felt like a once-in-a-lifetime experience. Now, it is on the expensive side — definitely pricier than a regular dinner in Amsterdam. But honestly, it’s completely worth it. You’re not only paying for the food; you’re paying for an unforgettable atmosphere, the rotating 360° view, the height, the unique arrival by boat, and a dining experience that feels truly special. Overall, I can highly recommend A’DAM Lookout to anyone who wants a memorable evening in Amsterdam. It’s the perfect choice for a romantic night out, a celebration, or simply an extraordinary experience you won’t forget. It may be more expensive, but it’s absolutely worth every euro.

4th time visiting on our annual trip to Amsterdam and it was as stunning as always. The refit earlier this year has introduced some really comfortable seating positioned to enhance the views across the city whilst you dine, and changes to the lighting have effectively eliminated glare from the windows to give a much clearer line of sight. Food as always was delicious, beautifully presented and well described by the staff. Service from Martijn was friendly, professional and efficient, he looked after us really well. Looking forward to coming back on our next visit to the city.

Very good. There's a set menu in the evening and it costs €70 per person, plus extras. The food is excellent, they're clean and super welcoming. The dishes are excellent, and the view is exceptional.

Everything is great, but the table reservation is from 18:00 to 20:30, at 20:00 we were asked to free the table for other visitors, although we thought about ordering something else

What a unique experience! Restaurant Moon truly surprised me. We were here on July 26th, and it was truly one of the most special dinners I've ever had. The restaurant slowly rotates, giving you a panoramic view of all of Amsterdam while you eat. That alone makes it magical; you see the city constantly changing while you're sitting at your table. The food was truly a 10/10. Every course was a complete taste sensation: refined, creative, and beautifully presented. You can tell there's a lot of love put into the dishes. The combination of view, atmosphere, and flavor makes the whole experience simply perfect. The presentation, the flavor, the service… everything is perfect here. A fantastic evening and absolutely recommended if you want to do something special or pamper yourself. I will definitely be back. 🍴✨

The food was very good. Portions were okay and normal for a four-course meal (contrary to what some reviews say). Cocktails were somewhat dependent on taste and perhaps too experimental. The wine is definitely recommended. The staff is knowledgeable.

A wonderful lunch with my wife. The tables are arranged to fully enjoy the stunning view and completely forget about the surroundings. The menu was delicious, and the service was pleasant. The pace was also very enjoyable; we savored our meal without feeling rushed or having to wait between courses. We will definitely return!

We dined with five people on November 12th at 7:00 PM. The food and wines were excellent, as was the service. However, there was a comment: we paid for six people, but there were only five of us (see reservation). We asked to have this corrected. The phone was connected to a computer that would send it to us for correction, via email (a second request based on the computer's advice). No response yet. That's a shame.

What stood out for us this time, was the new thoughtful layout for the 2-person seating, rather than having both diners face the window, one gets the ever-changing spectacular skyline, while the other witnesses the same beauty indirectly - reflected in your partner’s eyes, along with smiles of delight 🌃👁️ What might seem like a sacrifice of “equal” view rights is, in fact, a graceful recentering of attention. A truly special night in every way. Thanks to the mind behind the new Moon - not just for the amazing dining experience, but for the beautiful reminder that what is more precious than the view are the moments and the genuine connection shared across the table ♥️

Attempts to be polished and refined but misses the mark. Servers are wearing street tennis shoes, sitting down at the table with guests, and pace of meal was terrible. The shrimp toast, one of the oysters was ok, but the rest was confusing and not particularly tasty. The ingredients and flavor combinations was very odd, like coffee beans on an oyster for example. The ribeye was incredibly thin and closer to deli meat that a steak.

What a experience the restaurant spins around slowly giving you a 360 view of the city. Me and the wife went when it was dark the views where amazing. Now the food WOW the FLAVORS were AMAZING. 4 course meal and we ordered different meals to try everything it was so delicious. I would highly recommend. Very romantic.

Went for the views. Would go again for the food. The food and service was exceptional. Great atmosphere and very friendly servers. Loved it . It may be obvious but people with vertigo may feel a little uncomfortable due to the height and rotation. The feeling of revolving is not subtle.

The setting is very pleasant, and the four-course evening menu is perfect for celebrating a birthday. But don't expect to blow out a candle (or more), we were told they're not allowed. A bit of a shame, but that's the way it is. Two starters, one main course, and one dessert are chosen from a few options each time. There's something for everyone. There's also a more affordable children's menu, both in terms of price and flavor. The quality-to-price ratio is excellent: beautiful combinations of ingredients. A very enjoyable experience. Champagne is expensive, but the wine is within the usual price range. Thank you to Thea for her service and advice. Thank you to the rest of the staff as well.

Normally I don't leave reviews, but this was a really great restaurant with delicious food and super good and friendly service.

Food and service were really mid - definitely not worth 70 euros. The ribeye was way too salty, in steak tartare the meat taste was overwhelmed by peanuts. The gnocchi and cheese were fine, but nothing really blew my mind. They were nice enough to accommodate with lactose-free version of the dessert, so kudos for that. When I asked for my drink I waited at least 20 minutes for the waiter to come back to tell me it’s not available. The waiting time between courses was also way too long. After 2nd course I felt like I wanna leave, after 3rd I was sure of it. The view is nice. Definitely not coming back.

SPECTACULAR PLACE and fantastic food... And coming from two Italians, it's a real compliment. It was supposed to be a surprise for my boyfriend's graduation, and it turned out great, and the service staff were incredibly kind and friendly. It's worth it, and the quality is in line with Amsterdam prices.

Bought our tix on Viator which included entry and €20 deposit per person for the restaurant - better deal than buying direct. We had the set menu which was delicious and reasonable given the restaurant was quite nice and rotates. Really nice views and we went upstairs before dessert to do the swing. Staff were flexible and accomodating for us to do that mid meal. Really nice romantic date place!

We went there for my wife’s birthday and we absolutely love the place and the view. Food is delicious. We got a complementary cake for her birthday. Prices were reasonable and the staff was okayish.

Unique experience! Eating on a rotating tray (which doesn't turn at high speed, just enough to enjoy the surrounding view). Simply delicious meal, very refined and fine. Top quality/price level! A little ambient music accompanies our meal, very pleasant and fluid service. The waiters explain each meal while serving them, it's very warm! Bravo to the chefs and thank you again for this experience!

Food is a bit meh and overpriced. The staff is a bit all over. We were told to leave as soon as we ended the meal. Was a bit weird to be told to leave without even finishing the bottle of wine. View is amazing.

That was a bit of a shame. - With every course, order, or serving, we had a different person at our table. Personally, I prefer it if it's a bit less.

It was a truly fantastic birthday for me. We ate on the rooftop with a breathtaking view, and we even got to swing! Hey, we'll do it once and never again. Phew :-)

Beautiful location. The food is excellent. The exclusive menu allowed me to try things I wouldn't normally order. It was a real treat!

It took too long to take our order. I think the single-person zone is too much when it's busy. I saw some staff standing around doing nothing, probably everyone has their own tasks. It does seem strange, though. One of them is busy, and it's also because they work with time slots, so everyone comes in at the same time. Our table host was fantastic. After paying, we had to get our coats from the closet ourselves, and no one came to hand them over. No problem for me; I just opened the closet and took my coat, but that's how you can lose coats. Otherwise, a great location, good food.

What a beautiful place with delicious food! We'll definitely be back for a few more rounds. We noticed the staff were busy, so it could take a little longer, but their service was spot on. Glasses were refilled promptly, and the food was explained clearly. They were also always up for a chat, despite the crowd.

What a beautiful result after the renovation! The interior is inviting, with comfortable sofas and plenty of greenery. We were pleasantly surprised by the alcohol-free Tinto de Verano, and were very hospitably served by hostess Lotte.

Yeah, what do you want me to say? Well, okay, what an experience this was. Hahaha... brilliant! Never hesitate, just do it!

The price is not commensurate with the service. The menu is very limited, as is the non-alcoholic selection. The menu was in English, so you simply had to translate some dishes with Google Translate; it's surprising that it's not bilingual. The toilets were also not exactly clean (which doesn't match the restaurant's price range). The fries with the meal were also forgotten, so they arrived after the main course. It's a good thing we ordered fries, otherwise we wouldn't have found the food filling enough. Beautiful location/view, but loud music ruins the atmosphere (it's hard to follow the conversation at the table). We were lucky with a good view outside; unfortunately, not all the tables for two are that lucky (one looks out at the interior instead of the view). The view is truly fantastic!

An absolute must-do in Amsterdam! A fantastic experience! Incredibly high-quality food for such a touristy spot! It's best to get there while it's still light and catch the sunset. A total of about two hours in the restaurant, then a trip up to the platform.

Unfortunately, I can't say much about the food. We waited 30 minutes for a waitress, and after calling several times, no one came. So we ended up leaving without eating anything. Unfortunately, the service was very poor.

The waiter poured my drink into my glass, but I found out later (without taking a sip) that the glass was broken. I mentioned it to the waiter and he emptied the glass and gave me a new not broken glass. When I mentioned where my drink was, he said “oh I thought you didn’t want it anymore”. What??? Other than this rough start, the service from the rest of the personele was very good, the food was good and the view was exceptional. Very fun concept of the 360 view and fun to go once!

Service was extremely poor. Our dinner was almost 3 hours due to courses coming out 40+ minutes apart. Table not cleaned in timely manner. Staff was busy cleaning up for the night and not paying attention to actual present customers. For such an amazing venue we expected at least average service; didn’t happen.
