We absolutely loved it! We booked a romantic dinner here as part of our trip and were not disappointed. The food was exceptional, the service wonderful and the views as the restaurant resolves and the sun went down fabulous. They catered for me as someone with a gluten allergy very well, the GF bread was delicious! Highly recommend!

We visited the lookout and had lunch. We tried chicken and beef burgers and truffle linguine. Everything was very tasty. For dessert, panna cotta, which the waiter informed us is prepared every day. Finally, we got espresso and cappuccino which were quite mediocre I would say. Overall, a pleasant experience with a unique environment and good service.

We went to Moon as a group of six, and the space itself is stunning: a beautiful room with an extraordinary view. It was a clear day, so we enjoyed a full 360‑degree panorama of Amsterdam from above. The service was a bit mixed; they came to take our orders before handing out the menus and later forgot the coffee at the end. Our friends chose the set menu while we ordered à la carte, which essentially pulls from the same dishes. The clear standout was the bites tasting: shrimp toast, taco, and a brioche with pork pâté. For the main course, the fowl was exceptional. We added the peach melba dessert at the last minute after seeing our friend’s plate, and it was absolutely worth it. The food was delicious, with pricing that reflects the setting. Definitely a spot for a special occasion.

We had a delicious meal, and the service was top-notch. It was the Eclipse that evening, which created a fun atmosphere. Glasses were shared. There were just the two of us, and we weren't seated at a table by the window, but we still had a great view thanks to the table arrangement. Dietary requirements were also taken into account exceptionally well by every member of staff. We will definitely be back to try a new menu.

There is little to complain about regarding the food; it is fine. But I find it strange that when there are so many tables free and we ask if we can sit by the window (because otherwise you are just looking at other people's backs), this is not possible. There are so many large empty tables, where couples of two are seated right after us. Why one person and not the other?? You go there to get a beautiful view of the city from above, after all, which unfortunately was not possible for us.

As darkness fell, the entire city was illuminated with countless lights, making the view even more impressive. We could even see the ships on the water, which perfectly complemented the special atmosphere. We wholeheartedly recommend this restaurant.

Last weekend, we enjoyed a truly unforgettable evening at Restaurant Moon, located on the 19th floor of the A'DAM Tower. If you are looking for an evening-long experience that stimulates all your senses, this is the place in Amsterdam. Upon entering, you are immediately warmly welcomed. The restaurant rotates very slowly, causing the view over the city and the IJ to constantly change. It is fascinating to see the city slowly transform from the afternoon sun to the evening atmosphere. Inside, it is modern, stylish, and intimate. The food here is of an absolutely top-notch standard. We opted for the extensive multi-course menu with bites (oyster tasting). Each dish was a work of art in itself, presented with enormous attention to detail. The chef combines classic with modern, surprising flavor combinations and makes use of beautiful seasonal produce. The refined balance in the intermediate courses and the perfectly cooked main course were the absolute highlights for us. What truly made this evening complete was the hospitality. The staff is professional, yet at the same time very approachable and warm. Our wishes were perfectly anticipated throughout the evening. Conclusion: Restaurant Moon is not just a place to eat, it is a gastronomic experience at great heights. Yes, it is an investment, but the combination of the unique 360-degree view, the high-quality food, and the top-notch service makes it more than worth every euro. My husband and I dined here on July 29, and it was an unforgettable experience. Our server, Tim, provided exceptional customer service and truly went above and beyond. There was a group of guests nearby who were being very loud and disruptive, and without us even having to say anything, Tim thoughtfully moved us to a quieter table. The service throughout the meal was impeccable. Each course arrived at the perfect time, never overlapping, and every dish was explained in detail. Every staff member we interacted with was warm, friendly, and professional. This was, without a doubt, the best meal I have ever eaten. I will absolutely be recommending this restaurant to anyone visiting Amsterdam.

That said, everything we ordered was delicious. My only criticism is the service. Nothing was truly outstanding — some dishes were rich in flavor and well executed, but others felt simple and forgettable. A mixed bag overall. Service was slow, especially given how busy it was. The staff were attentive when they did come around, but the pacing dragged through the meal. What really elevates the experience is the view — it complements the atmosphere and is arguably the main draw. Worth trying, but go in with tempered expectations on the food and service.

This was our second time at this restaurant (in two months). The view over the entire city was absolutely incredible, and the decor was really lovely! The food was fantastic, but the service was a bit lacking; the young man wasn't very friendly or welcoming, which was a shame. Aside from that, it was a very pleasant evening with my partner, and we'll definitely be back very soon.

The concept is nice and the view is fantastic, so you should eat there at least once for that reason alone. However, judging by what I’ve read, I had a less positive experience with the service than others. We had expected to dine for a long evening, but found the dishes to have arrived very quickly one after another. We asked the waitress for a longer break after the second course, but the main course actually arrived very quickly after that anyway. We asked for a break again, but the dessert arrived very quickly after that as well. After 1.5 hours, we had finished 5 dishes. The bottle of wine we had ordered wasn't even empty after dessert. What we did have to wait a very long time for, however, was asking for the bill. After our dessert plates were cleared, the waitress was nowhere to be seen. So, secretly, we thought that was quite a shame.

Overall the whole experience was epic. The service stood out the most and our waiter was excellent and really made an effort to make our evening memorable. The atmosphere was lovely and really added to the experience. The food was delicious and plated exceptionally. The vegetarian options for the "bites" menu were few and it was not overly clear on the amounts or how or what to order on it. The main 4 course meal option really stood out and the cooking and delivery of the dishes really had a wow factor. For the vegetarian option, something with a bit more protein would have been a winner. I.e. incorporate a bean or quinoa element to the dish. The biggest complaint (not really a complaint) is that the portion sizes could have been bigger as it was so nice!!! Thank you all for your hard work and effort. We would love to return!!

A beautiful tourist spot, but heavily in need of renovation due to heavy use. As long as you look outside, it is pretty okay, except for the dirty windows, but the interior looks dirty and worn. Paint, leather, tables, and furniture are damaged everywhere. There is an unpleasant smell at the entrance. The menu is limited and has a high rabbit content. Well-intentioned green, but because there are only 2 menu options available, you are quickly stuck with the chef's almost forced choice of greens. The staff makes up for a lot, a whole lot. Enthusiastic, sweet, and attentive, but the idea of ​​the next dish is a bit confusing. Unfortunately, I prefer one regular friend. But credit where credit is due: lovely people. A nice wine list too, and given the 'responsible green menu', you would expect many organic wines. It is limited to approx. 1. All in all: a nice menu with a wide choice in terms of quality and price. Finally, regarding parking: the garage is one big puzzle, with absolutely no signage for the restaurant anywhere. Figuring things out in advance is also impossible: the website provides no prior information whatsoever about where, how, or what to do. All in all: a 6.5, where the quality of the staff, in particular, elevates the place.

To top it all off, the staff were lovely, attentive, and made us feel so welcome and celebrated for our special day. Subject: Official complaint regarding disrespectful and insulting treatment by security Dear Management of Madame Amsterdam, I hereby file an official complaint regarding the manner in which we were treated by multiple security guards at your establishment. We had made a reservation in advance and arrived expecting to have a pleasant evening. However, upon arrival, we were approached in a very rude and disrespectful manner without any clear reason. Despite our reservation, we were denied entry. In addition, we were addressed in a humiliating manner and even verbally abused, which we found to be completely unacceptable. A security guard with short hair and another security guard, a dark guy, behaved in a particularly provocative and unprofessional manner. Their attitude and behavior gave us the strong feeling that we were being treated unfairly and ensured that we did not feel welcome. I am a regular visitor and normally easily spend around €200 during an evening at Madame Amsterdam. After this humiliating experience, however, I cannot help but say that a subsequent visit is not worth even a euro to me as long as this kind of treatment by your security personnel is allowed. I expect this situation to be seriously investigated and appropriate measures to be taken. Everyone has the right to respectful treatment. Good food, beautiful view, extremely bad service.

Half a bottle of water was removed from the table without being asked for a new bottle. The bill charges 4 euros per bottle, so this should have been asked first.

We had a fantastic evening at Moon last Friday. The atmosphere, the food, and the service were definitely worth 5 stars. The young waiter who served us (red hair) took the time to explain the menu in detail and also engaged in interesting small talk about, for example, the other floors of the tower in between. In a cozy atmosphere, we were welcomed by a very attentive, smiling, and discreet team, who even offered us a complimentary dessert for our wedding anniversary! The view is beautiful, and the meal was excellent. We were surprised by the value for money, considering the quality. Rather than eating €15 paninis in the center of Amsterdam, go and spend a pleasant time at Moon, where you can also enjoy the attractions of the Adam Tower. If we return to Amsterdam, we will definitely eat at Moon again!

For 7 years we have been visiting this restaurant and it never gets old, atmosphere is great, food is exciting and prices are fantastic considering how people keep getting ripped off in many other places in Amsterdam with microwave food… it is one of our favourite places in Europe to go and enjoy a nice meal with an outstanding view and friendly service.

Ok, this is THE BEST restaurant I could find in Amsterdam. I tried at least 10 of them and this is the only one that I would highly recommend. It's located in the top of the Sir Adam hotel and they don't take walk ins so you have to make a reservation and pay ahead of time. I've been complaining about European service and how spoiled we are in America, well, this place will offer you American service in Europe. The restaurant rotates 360 degrees and it has spectacular views of the city at sunset. The food, even the starter bread I got with beer cheeses was outstanding. I kept sending my compliments to the chef because everything I tried was delicious. I'm definitely coming back here when in town

We had a reservation for 6:00 PM, as we had booked the A'dam Lookout restaurant in advance. We were greeted very warmly and our coats were immediately taken care of. We were then shown to a lovely table right by the window, offering a beautiful view of Amsterdam. Because the restaurant revolves, the view changed almost every minute, making the time fly by. The four-course meal was very tasty and beautifully presented overall; however, my chosen duck was quite tough, which I mentioned to the server. Unfortunately, this couldn't be rectified – a shame…but we would still come back here on our next visit to Amsterdam, as everything else was excellent.
