D&C is een pareltje. Altijd een super ervaring hier. Emmalou heeft op betrouwbare en informele wijze de touwtjes in handen in het restaurant , terwijl in de keuken het ene na het andere heerlijk gerecht wordt gemaakt. Er wordt optimaal gebruik gemaakt van regionale producten en de smaakcombinaties zijn hemels. Daarbij prima wijnen die echt van toegevoegde waarde zijn. D&C is wat ons betreft een topper.

Were here for the theater menu, well, we will do that more often. Delicious 3-course menu with 3 amuses, coffee and chocolates. The bill is on the table at a quarter to 8. Excellently arranged and eaten. Will definitely come back here.

A unique dining experience featuring dishes utilizing fish and local game, like geese, and venison. Great service and a strange but interesting environment.

Hemos estado aquí antes. Los asientos son geniales, el ambiente es bueno (sin música) , el camarero muy bueno, la comida muy bien presentada y de buen gusto. Nos gusta el venado en nuestro plato. Pero aún así, a pesar de nuestra revisión anterior ; - ) , muy pocas verduras se sirven en un restaurante de 4 platos. ¿Por qué?

The service is great. They have choices of 3 to 7 courses meals. With or without wine pairing. The food was delicious and beautiful. We enjoyed it greatly. It is beyond doubt a top experience.

The best experience I had since years and probably since ever. The quality and preparation of the food were superlative. It had been an amazing journey perfectly paired with wines from all over the world, wisely selected by the owner. I begged her to write me the list of wines I drunk, because they were so amazing that I had to remember them. Service was perfect in timing and manners. It really worths make a trip to Amsterdam even only to have a dinner in here. And this is what I will do shortly. Thanks very much for the amazing dinner. Ps. The price was absolutely correct for the dinner, I would say it was not expensive at all. Looking forward to be your guest again very soon.

Great restaurant. Very interesting foods with great taste. You will not find this in a regular restaurant! If you like to explore different cuisines you definitely have to stop by at this place. The atmosphere is welcoming and the staff friendly.

Delicious theater menu with aperitif, amuses and matching wines in a hospitable restaurant

We did the menu with Resteraunt week. Must say was very impressed the food ,service and whole experience was great. Great choices in wine advised in house. Must say my fave in the last few years from Resteraunt week If I could give 6 stars I would 😊

Een geweldige ontdekking. We hebben genoten van wat ons werd voorgeschoteld. Het ene nog verrassender dan het andere. Eindelijk weer eens een zéér goede prijs-kwaliteit verhouding. Mooie gerechten met passende wijnen, alles geserveerd door een zeer aimabele gastvrouw. Wat zeker ook bijdroeg aan de sfeer was bij andere gasten te zien dat ze ook blij verrast waren en dat ook duidelijk lieten merken. Wat ons betreft een topavond en we komen zeker terug als we weer iets te vieren hebben. Of misschien ook wel eerder, zomaar!!!

Food was very mediocre for the pricepoint, nothing exciting or particularly good with it. We had a 6 course menu and it took them 4 hours to serve even with polite nudges that it was too long between dishes. Had waits of 50 min between some dishes wich is absurd. Wouldn't recommend or come back.

What a wonderful place to eat! We were celebrating our 10th wedding anniversary in Amsterdam and couldn't have been happier with our choice for a special dinner. One of the owners served us and she was extremely cordial, knowledgeable about food and wine, and really made us feel at home. All of the courses were stunning and had delicious layer upon layer of tastes. Highly recommended to anyone and everyone!

We were visiting Amsterdam and invited our friends for dinner to join us — only to find out that they are « regulars » here. We had a 4-course dinner which was paired with different wines. Everything was pleasing to the eye and pleasant and memorable to our taste buds. Service was gracious, kind and warm. Amuse bouche threw me off because there were so many little bites to accompany the concentrated onion broth. Oh, and the value for money is great (you could pay 2-3x for this in Paris). The 4-course was ~50pp.

Came here 20:00. Ordered a four course dinner 30 min later. 23:00 we have only got the second course. Then I decided to pay my order and leave and skip the two last dishes. Fall in sleep while waiting for the food is not a nice thing. This was on a Thursday, and not so many guests.. the food I tried was good but never coming back..

Haven't been able to write many comments recently. But this is worth it. We had a total 3.5 hour of dining, and they have a small kitchen. The only thing bad was mainly from our side. We don't drink. All three of us picked the 5 courses set. Appetizers, two fish dishes, two meat dishes, and a dessert. Appetizers - I really love the onion soup and the foam. Sourness definitely opened up my appetite of the night. Home made onion sauce and breads are great. Fish dishes - sea bass sashimi, fresh and good. I am slightly finding the texture of some part of the dish a bit weird, but overall good. - Tuna with tuna sauce with asparagus, my top1 of the night. Love the tuna fish, the asparagus, and the sauce. It seems to use lobster soup as the base rich flavor, but fresh. Meat dish - Quail, I am not a big fan of Quail, unfortunately, but the sauce and back vinegar is a plus. Also, the offal stuffing is an interesting approach. - Lamp, perfectly done the shank and rack are just good. And perfect. Nothing need to quote more Dessert - If tuna is my top1, this dessert will be my 2nd. Sweet but not over sweet. The mix of ginger and strawberry favor within the sauce really brought this dish to another level. We were luck to be in an asparagus season. All courses contain asparagus and built around it. Defo worth a try. Lastly, not a bad price. Avg. 60 euro

What a wonderful restaurant. I'm on quite a challenging diet, and haven't been out for dinner for months. At DenC they didn't find it a problem at all, and they went the extra mile to serve a exquisite dinner. Me, and my colleagues had a fantastic meal, whit suprising dishes. Our hostess was attentive and welcoming. We'll be back for many more dinners.

What a culinary gem in Amsterdam for a very reasonable price. The theater menu is highly recommended! Chef Johan Dik spoils his guests with explosions of taste, starting with the appetizers. Emmalou Cunningham showed herself to be a professional hostess with real attention for her guests, chapeau!!

Fijn kleinschalig restaurant, met prachtig gedekte tafels wij hadden een 3 gangen menu incl wijnarrangement het was heerlijk, fijne smaken ,mooi opgemaakte borden vergezeld door prima wijnen en de friandises bij de koffie boven verwachting!

I visited on Valentine’s Day with my girlfriend and it was honestly the best dining experience in Amsterdam we’ve ever had! We enjoyed the entire full course menu and the service was attentive. You can really tell that the chef pours his heart and soul into every single course. Wine pairing-the best we’ve ever had. All in all if You’re here in Amsterdam or planning to visit for holiday this is THE restaurant we recommend to visit for an unforgettable dining experience. Thank You Emmalou and chef Johan!

Rainarai Westerpark is hands down my favorite restaurant in Amsterdam. For the past few years anytime I have a close friend or family visiting Amsterdam I always take them here. The food is incredible, the servers are always kind and attentive, and the ambiance is super cozy and relaxing. I would definitely put this at the top of your list of places to try!

This is one of the top 5 dining experiences I have ever had. I was with 3 colleagues and the sentiment was unanimous. We opted for the 4 course meal and had a couple of bottles of wine. Every. Single. Dish was perfect. Two of us went vegetarian and two stayed the normal course - all chefs choice. It's a husband (chef) wife (front of house) team that runs the restaurant, a family affair and it has that feel. I would make this spot a planned destination any time I'm near Amsterdam in the future.

Goddelijk gegeten! Elk deel van het gangenmenu was werkelijk een stukje hemel in smaak, opmaak en kwaliteit. De service was perfect en we werden tot in de puntjes verzorgd en kregen veel extra’s. Vooral de zeeduivel en het Veluwse Hert waren fantastisch. Het toetje was erg smakelijk (tikkeltje te zoet voor mijn smaak). Alles was voortreffelijk! Ik kom graag terug. Prijs en kwaliteit stond goed in verhouding! Enige verbeterpunt zou de hoeveelheid licht zijn. Er stonden veel felle lampen aan waardoor het minder sjiek en bruisend (tikkeltje slaperig) aanvoelde. De afwerking en interieur van het restaurant kon verder de pret niet drukken en de stoelen zaten heerlijk. De sfeer was ontspannen. Ik kom zeker terug!

This intimate little place FAR exceeded our expectations. We opted for the five-course menu with wine pairings, and we were extremely happy that we did. Each course was a revelation, with extraordinarily thoughtful and warm service from our hostess (I wish we could remember her name, but as I said, wine pairing). We discovered new meats and wines we’d never sampled, enjoyed thoughtful spins on classics (a bitterballen that didn’t taste like pub food), and delighted in presentations that made it clear that the chef was pouring all of their attention into every detail of every dish. Not only would we heartily recommend this gem to anyone visiting Amsterdam, but since it seems to change its menu frequently, we wish we were locals so we could visit regularly.

Es un restaurante francés, los dueños son el chef y la camarera. El servicio es de primera. Ofrecen una explicación detallada de cada plato al servirlo en la mesa. Ella es irlandesa, él es Holandés, pero son geniales como equipo y su comida pasa las expectativas. Los menús son familiares y puedes encontrarte con muy agradables sorpresas.

Heerlijk feestelijk en vriendelijk.

Een oase van rust in het hectische Amsterdam. Met aandacht verzorgde gerechten, goede uitleg en een hele vriendelijke bediening. Echt een aanrader!

I originally booked through the Dining with the Stars website for the chance to eat here during their promotion period, which is 60 EUR per person for a 5-course dinner. Although the food is EXCELLENT (check out the photos), the wine selection was fabulous and the service was good, we were approached halfway through the meal because they had accidentally started serving us the 6-course dinner and wanted to know if we were okay with going along with it. We didn't find out until the end that the 6-course dinner was 110 per person, so I had to pay almost double at the end of the night for one extra accidental course. If you come here, I would suggest confirming and reminding them of your original booking throughout your visit. I'm honestly very upset at how much more I've had to pay - I would have been more than satisfied with just 5 courses.

If you are looking for fine dining, this is the place to go. We had the 5-course menu with accompanying wine and each course was unique, creative and a great combination. 2x fish, 2x meat and dessert. The wine pairing was a delight. All choosen competently and appropriately and offered at a very fair price. All in all a very pleasant experience and highly recommended.

Met onze hele bibliotheek bij Rainarai gegeten (150 mensen!). Geweldige bediening, heerlijk eten. Het was een zeer geslaagde avond.

Voor het eerst hier geweest, met een gezelschap van 10 mensen, en een fantastische ervaring gehad. De kwaliteit van al het gebodene, de wijn en zeker de service, alles is hier op topniveau!

Wij hebben echt heerlijk gegeten bij DenC, de hele ervaring van het 5-gangenmenu met bijpassende wijnen was heerlijk. Ook de amuses tussendoor en het aperitiefje vooraf was heerlijk. De service was ook prettig. Het is fijn dat het niet zo heel groot is binnen, dat maakt het gezellig. We hebben er in totaal 4 uur gezeten en ons geen moment verveeld. Het kaasplankje is echt een aanrader, waar wel 9 kaasjes werden geserveerd met een heerlijke desertwijn! Ultiem avondje genieten.
