We booked through Social Deal a month and a half in advance, and on the day itself, we were canceled. We called several times to ask why we were canceled, but each time we received a different answer. It basically meant someone else was getting priority over Social Deal. They were very rude on the phone. Don't go along with that. I also reported it to Social Deal.

Very cozy, even though it's a bit remote, it's still worth a visit. Quintin is a fantastic host. Great crowd and delicious wines.

We dined at More Itz through Social Deal and we had a wonderful time! From the moment we arrived, it felt like a mini-vacation. The restaurant is beautifully situated on the waterfront with a relaxed and stylish atmosphere. The decor is modern, cozy, and exudes tranquility—a perfect place to relax and unwind. Instead of dessert, we opted for three appetizers and three main courses so we could sample a bit of everything. What a great choice! Everything was beautifully presented, and each dish was carefully prepared. The trout was wonderfully tender and perfectly seasoned, and the steak was incredibly tender and cooked to perfection. The other small dishes were also each delicious and creatively composed. You can really taste the kitchen's attention to detail and the use of fresh ingredients. The service was friendly, relaxed, and professional. They took their time, explained the dishes, and ensured the pace between courses was just right. We were truly pampered. In short, More Itz exceeded our expectations. Delicious appetizers, a lovely atmosphere, and a beautiful waterfront location. We'll definitely be back — even without the Social Deal, because it was absolutely worth it! 🌅🍷🍽️

A really nice place, friendly service, but way too expensive for the taste and quality of the food. Mussels still had sand in them, small portions, and a menu that's quite limited but very expensive. Certainly not a bad feeling after our meal, but not a place we'll be returning to.

Yesterday, I sat on the patio for 20 minutes. I saw plenty of people walking around, but no one spoke to me or helped me. I left, but they did say goodbye politely.

While specific dish names escape me, the overall quality and variety of the food were impressive. From what I recall, there was something to satisfy every palate, from the more adventurous eaters to those with simpler tastes. The portioning for shared plates was generous, ensuring everyone had ample opportunity to sample and enjoy. Beyond the delicious food, the service at More-itz truly stood out. Catering to 17 people can be a challenge, but the staff handled it with grace, efficiency, and genuine warmth. Orders were taken smoothly, dishes arrived promptly, and any requests were met with a smile. nice terrace, friendly staff but didn't feel at ease, I'm more of a simple bistro person and this felt more for the "fancy" guests although everyone is welcome. the food was not for me as a picky eater. a toasted sandwich or a club sandwich or something like that is not there so I only have bread with spread. the prices are high!! for me no 2nd time but that's on me😊

Unreliable reservations and poor communication! My mother had made a reservation at Moritz on the website on February 20th for Sunday April 6th. Everything seemed fine, until she suddenly received an email this week stating that her reservation had failed due to a “system error.” Apparently you have to make a reservation by phone, because online reservations don’t work properly. But this was not clearly stated anywhere during the booking process. Why do they let customers make online reservations if they know that it will go wrong? This is incredibly sloppy. What I find even worse is the way they communicate this: no phone call, no proper apology, just a short email. My mother had made a reservation well in advance and assumed that everything was arranged. This is simply not a nice way to treat customers. Very disappointing how Moritz handles this, especially because we have always been very positive about this company.

Very shocked by the rather racist and rude communication! I was looking for a wedding location and asked if a caterer was allowed on location. The gentleman indicated that a Moroccan grandmother who cooks in the shed does not need to come to them (never asked a question about a particular cuisine/indicated what origin I have), he did not like these types of questions, other restaurants do not offer quality and that I should look for another location. The gentleman then immediately hung up the phone. Unbelievable how rude the gentleman was to me and out of nowhere made a comment about Moroccan cuisine. Would never give this location a chance with a racist gentleman!

We got married at More-itz a month ago. I had great contact with the owner during the preparations, nothing was difficult or too much to ask. On the day itself we were also extremely well looked after, we had a great day and our guests loved it too!

Booked here for a large group for a Christmas drink with work. The food was very poor and we were told that less food had been served because not all our guests were present. That was a bit of a shame because we all ate very little (but paid full price). Then asked for an adjustment to the invoice that we had paid in advance (because there were fewer people present than we had paid for and received less food than requested). Was supposed to be arranged but never happened. Then asked again, but no response, so no money back in 8 months. The atmosphere is fine, but communication, customer friendliness and the level of the food are very poor. It is very unfortunate that you ask for certain snacks and are told yes and you also pay for them, and then do not receive them. And then you don't get any money back. Never again for us. Update: It is said that fewer guests are at their own risk and that is logical, but we received less food even though we were not asked if we wanted less food and we still had to pay for the food that was withheld without asking. Then you might as well serve all the food to the guests who are there. You pay for something that you don't get and that is not communicated about until afterwards, and the people who are there go home hungry. And then receive such a disrespectful response from the owner... What an unprofessional place. There is such a thing as the Service Recovery Paradox, but the owner has clearly never heard of it. He would rather make a quick, unfair buck than go after satisfied (and returning) customers.

Nice tent and top location, but those prices are no longer worth anything. A steak for 45 euros? There was hardly anyone for lunch on Sunday and I understand that... We eat out very often, but with these kinds of prices you end up pricing yourself out of the market. Plus... The menu was full of dirty stains and the waitress' pants were just as dirty. That's really not possible!

What a ridiculous place this is. The decoration is super nice, but the physical environment makes you laugh. DON'T FALL FOR IT PEOPLE, ABSOLUTELY DO NOT BOOK A WEDDING HERE. BECAUSE YOU PAID A LOT OF MONEY FOR IT, BUT NOTHING IS DELIVERED. We would like to post a comment here, because it is apparently difficult for Thomas to call back if you are not satisfied. Here is a summary of what went wrong. - Half an hour late at the first appointment to come and see the location - Suggestions for meat at a BBQ were questionable as to whether the chef could do something with them, while we were told that anything was possible. - The tables were supposed to be decorated with candles and the like, but this agreement was not kept. - Payment was made for a live BBQ, but it had become a walking buffet, which was delivered by a catering company, without any communication plus you are being seriously ripped off by this Thomas. - They would arrange for us to play music during the ceremony, but the staff's private telephone was more important than paying attention. - The food tasted good, it was just a shame that you clearly indicated that you were pregnant and then a lot of raw things were served during drinks and dinner. - They do not take your privacy into account at all, a photo of us as a bridal couple was unceremoniously placed on Instagram, without asking if we wanted this. And then get an excuse that it will only be there for a few hours. Just disgusting. - There are parking spaces within the fence at the location, but Thomas's big BMW already took up a spot. And if you then close the gate only to be able to walk through because of... privacy reason, but not keeping an eye on when guests come and can park there is also not exactly convenient. - Then the payment, it is really too retarded for words that Thomas wanted the entire amount before the wedding, after the actual calculation. At the end of the day, we were allowed to pay a deposit, which is what you normally do. But yes, in retrospect we understand, because otherwise you won't be scammed and Thomas will make good money. In short, don't be tempted by nice photos or talk because you will simply be ripped off by this man.

We got married here on August 24th and it was wonderful! We had the floor above to ourselves. Had nice conversations with Thomas in advance. Very clear on the email. He thinks along with you and responds quickly to questions. The food was great! All our guests enjoyed it immensely and the service was a 10+. Such a nice and relaxed atmosphere on the day itself. The staff were also really fantastic and made the day even more beautiful. Thank you!

More-itz is located in a beautiful location on the Amer. With a beautiful large terrace, it is a pleasant place to stay.

A beautiful location with a great appearance, sufficient quality food, but unreasonably expensive, without suitable extras such as bread basket, clean, clear menu, and other details. Just mussels or tuna steak €36.50 with 50cl water €7.50 is perhaps the reason why we filled almost the only table on a Friday evening. Not worth repeating unfortunately, given the beautiful location that can offer more.

At this beautiful spot in the port of Drimmelen you will feel like you are on holiday. The service by young people was good and atmospheric. The food is not cheap but of a good standard. The tuna tataki was delicious and beautifully served with a tube of soy sauce and a dollop of wasabi, ginger and a little wakamé. The menu is a bit confusing, there is no real distinction between starter and main course. We had lobster soup and an avocado salad as a starter. As a main course, 4 dishes to share. Quality and taste was perfect, everything was fresh. The dessert menu is somewhat limited, so we ended with coffee. The bill came to around 136 euros for 2 people, which is not cheap. The location is of course at a beautiful point with a view of the busy water and the marina. The terrace is cozy with various furniture. November 2023 we decided that we would have our wedding in July 2024 at More-Itz Drimmelen. We immediately fell in love with the location, a beautiful terrace on the water in the Drimmelen marina. But please don't let the location fool you. We had the price (including 8800 Euro for drinks for 110 people) in black and white. Already a bit of a gut feeling from the owner Thomas Langerwerf. Jovial, everything is possible, but never really answers to questions (service is hard to find). Went by again in April 2024 to dot the i's and cross the i's regarding what kind of snacks, etc. The next day a bill followed with an extra 5300 euros for drinks.... (while this had already been mentioned in the November overview). It said "I forgot" in brackets. We asked for an explanation because nothing had changed on our side. The 1st amount was up to and including the meal and the 2nd amount was after the meal until the end. So more than 14,000 euros for drinks.... I really fell off my chair. It was not included in our black and white quotation. Said that this was not the price agreement and if we had heard this amount in November we would have continued to look for another location. Mr Thomas Langerwerf's solution was: then we will count those drinks (of the new 5,300 euros). We have indicated that we have no confidence in this and do not agree with it. There was also a problem with the DJ. Thomas indicated in the 1st conversation that he had 7 DJs. This amount was included in the total amount. OK. So we wanted to speak to all 7 DJs to see which one would suit us. Thomas kept coming up with 1 DJ. Martijn le Frini. Nothing to the detriment of Martijn, because this is really a super nice boy of about 20 years old. Just not quite what we had in mind, given that our group is on average 50. We indicated that we would prefer someone from our generation who understands our music. He kept pushing Martijn down our throats. Indicated that we have also spoken to someone ourselves and have a good feeling about it. So I asked what amount will be deducted from the invoice. Thomas emailed back that this is 250 euros that he would take off. We couldn't imagine that DJ le Frini would perform for an entire evening for 250 euros. We received a quote for an entire evening of DJ le Frini for 1500 euros. So once again points were lost in terms of confidence in Thomas Langerwerf. He was also extremely arrogant towards our DJ during our last visit. "Here is tons of equipment, much nicer stuff than at your home." So all in all it was the final straw for us. I also hadn't done my homework properly and came across one thing after another when I Googled Thomas Langerwerf. Removed from office as a notary due to non-transparent quotations (dude). Piling up costs that should have been included in the first instance, etc. I also have a number of stories where he did exactly the same thing a few weeks before the wedding. I spoke to a man where he doubled the price 3 weeks before the wedding and also did not pay back the deposit of 1200 euros. He still has not done this with us after several requests. Please don't be blinded by the location, because it is a really beautiful place on the water, but agreements are not kept and agreements are changed. Book somewhere else for brunch lunch or dinner. Non-transparent quotation. It remains a common thread for Mr Langerwerf.

More-Itz or More is less! This former notary Thomas Langerwerf, who was removed from office by the notary chamber of the Amsterdam Court of Appeal, is now a catering entrepreneur in Drimmelen at the marina. Advice: don't make agreements with this Thomas Langerwerf, he doesn't keep them! More-Itz as a location on the harbor of Drimmelen is truly beautiful but is being destroyed by the current owner, be warned. Down payment of Euro 1200 was not refunded even after request.

What a location for a party! Great atmosphere and clear with only professionals!! Enjoyed the evening from start to finish! This is class and a catering industry of its own!

This is another tent that looks nice, here we are going to have a bite to eat. So called fancy, but the food is really bad. Not at all what we expected. Long wait, bad food, food/drink at the wrong table. Staff didn't know what they were doing This was last Sunday around 5pm. It wasn't that full.

We made reservations here for about 50 people for a company party. Must say food and location were well taken care of. We got all kinds of small dishes and the fish was really good. The location in the middle of the marina is of course great, but parking is a different story. But hey, a walk through the harbor when the weather is nice is no punishment either. Definitely recommended for a company party or party.

I would like to share my experience about more itz, this with regard to my girlfriend who got married last May. First of all, the communication with Thomas the owner was extremely disappointing, just to cry. 2 weeks before this beautiful big day, the bridal couple didn't know what they would eat that evening. Menu was still in development? Very bad thing, this man has very narcissistic traits. Discussed with his son that we could bring some decorations the day before, and finalized the story about the fact that no payment had been made to be allowed to do this at all? Want to charge extra costs. There were hardly any people eating, and luckily we were helped kindly by the staff. Did not receive any welcome snacks, but paid for them! Recently had a wedding where everything was wrong, unfriendly, stressed staff, room not clean, overcrowded tables that were not cleared, we asked for coffee and she said go get it, we are too busy, etc., the food was on paper plates and the vegetarian dishes were not too good. to eat !!!! Today I attended the first Hair Friendly live day, where several lectures were given! That worked fine in the morning Lunch was also excellent with a delicious soup But when we continued in the afternoon it was almost impossible to hear it anymore, because there was some kind of party going on downstairs with very loud music and a lot of noise. They really should have communicated this better from More-Itz because you really can't plan this together so completely differently. Big 10 for everything, including a view outside. It looks magically beautiful there at Christmas. They are definitely not the most expensive for a nice cup of coffee. Staff are all pleasant and cheerful.

Went for a corporate event, really nice place. They have a top floor with lots of space for a small corporate event or group gathering.

Very nice room for a business meeting. The Christmas decorations complete it. Our lunch was a bit strange. Bizarre combinations followed one another. More staff could be present. On several occasions we had to search/wait for a long time until someone showed up.

Prachtige locatie met super vriendelijk personeel en heerlijk eten! Echt een aanrader! Er is alleen vrij weinig parkeerplaats voor de deur, maar op 5 minuten lopen is wel een ruime parkeerplaats. Alles daartussen is alleen bestemd voor mensen die gaan varen.

Hele mooie zaak. De ligging is ook super aan de jachthaven in Drimmelen. Het personeel was erg vriendelijk en behulpzaam. We hadden een paar gerechten van de shared dining kaart. Misschien waren onze keuzes niet goed, maar ik was niet zo onder de indruk van de gerechtjes. Ondanks dat het misschien wel vermeld stond op de kaart. Ik vind dimsum en gyoza vanuit de frituur minder lekker, dan wanneer het gestoomd wordt. Persoonlijke voorkeur natuurlijk.
