Great snack bar. The veggie burgers, unfortunately, aren't very good. A strange aftertaste. They're probably cooked on the same griddle as the beef burgers. Otherwise, it's fine.

We were on holiday here from July 12th to July 17th and every time we ordered delicious food from a very nice gentleman behind the counter and we had top service.

The owner peed because I emptied our dog's water bowl on the patio where we were sitting. The sun was shining and luckily there were still plenty of dry tables available! Such a shame.

We ate at Moritz on Monday, September 1, 2025. The service was super friendly and very attentive. The food was also really delicious, and the portions were absolutely generous. The ambiance was very nice, especially the outdoor area. Highly recommended.

1990. It was a great summer, and the dam was still made entirely of bitumen, so there was no sand. But Moritz was already there and had his Reuzebekker. It was really good soft ice cream. Now, over 30 years later, and I come here almost every year. This is Holland at its best. And an insider tip: Why not head up to the seaside in winter? Over Christmas and New Year's Eve, enjoy the fireworks on the dam and look out at the sea. Simply cool 😎

The restaurant consists of a snack bar at the front and the restaurant at the back. I've been going there for years, but I think the fries and soft serve ice cream are the best there.

If you want delicious food in Petten and the surrounding area, this is the place for you. Very tasty and very fresh. And always friendly.

Beautiful restaurant with absolutely fantastic service! We visited Moritz Food & Drinks twice. The food is decent and, compared to local restaurants, reasonably priced. There are many Dutch specialties such as meatballs and croquettes. The portions are also reasonable, so you'll be full. The service itself is excellent. The staff also speaks German, which makes things a lot easier. We'd be happy to go back!

I like this place and the service is just at it s best. Thanks to the team … we ate there twice in the last 2weeks and over all I ate there every year at least once per summer holiday since 2018.

The food is good and tasty. Everyone is nice and friendly. They speak a little German. Prices are reasonable. Ate here again for the second year.

Top-notch food at fair prices—especially compared to the overpriced beach pavilions nearby. Honest, no-nonsense Dutch fast food: delicious, fast, and exactly what you want. The man behind the counter is rather taciturn and seems a bit grumpy, but that's exactly what makes the place special. A quirky guy with really good food; we loved it!

We visited Moritz several times two years ago, and we're back today. We weren't disappointed; the service was friendly and the food was excellent.

As always, everything is wonderful: cozy, rustically furnished, down-to-earth, and yet with plenty of style. We're always happy to come back!

A chip shop in beautiful Petten. There are certainly better restaurants, but if you enjoy fried food with a Dutch touch, this is the place for you. The staff speaks German, and the service is excellent. I like the kibbeling, but also the cheeseburger and fries with satay sauce. You can sit outside and it's only a few minutes to the beach.

It's a great alternative to the overpriced restaurants in the region! We had a Moritz Burger and Kibbelinge, both delicious and filling! The staff is friendly and speaks German. Dogs are also welcome!

Poor food, a lot of money for a bowl with little quibble, very expensive sauce for a euro. Gloomy service and also paying extra for a plastic container, with an excuse that still fails. That money goes into the owner's own pocket. To their credit, they also mention it, why not the paper containers that you see almost everywhere. No, once and never again, 1 foot over the threshold.

My partner wanted to know where he could find the toilets, this was apparently a silly question because he received an unfriendly answer. My friend had to ask for help because the employee thought watching Formula 1 was more important. The food was fine and delicious. If customer service is not important to you, you can eat here. We would rather drive to a different tent next time.

Yes, we only had a small snack in between, it was very tasty and inexpensive, the staff is super friendly.

Staff very rude and without any hygiene, they grab the meat with their hands, and the oil they use is very old, I don't think they have ever changed the oil since this place opened. I don't recommend anyone to eat here. I'm sorry to hear that you don't take my honest feedback seriously. I posted the review to warn others about my personal experience, not to act tough. Absolutely recommended! We received a friendly welcome, the restaurant was very clean, and the food was delicious. If we go on holiday nearby again, we will definitely come back.

My regular snack bar in Petten for over 30 years! Lekkerbek (stream fish) with Fritjes (fries)

Came in on a hot day with small children for a snack/ice cream. Only pick up and then go again, so no eating inside. Children were not allowed in because they were not wearing shirts. Then no snack.

Not only a beautiful location, but also super friendly. All I can say about the food is that we take it home with us. We'll be eating it long after our vacation. It was just the snack. We're looking forward to eating in the restaurant. Definitely worth a visit, even with a dog. The evening in the restaurant was fantastic. Great service, table right on the terrace by the water and a beautiful view. We would have loved to lick the plates. Got a great meal for the prices, another step on top. Everyone was full and happy. We'll definitely go there again next year, or vacation directly with him. The FW looked great too.

The best kibbeling at a fair price!

After many visits there, we recently had an unpleasant experience. When we were justified in criticizing the service, we were told that we were being cheeky/rude and that we didn't need to come back. Places in the shade are reserved for imaginary guests.

We only used the snack bar, but will definitely visit the restaurant at the next opportunity. The food was fresh, the French fries were crispy and you could enjoy everything in the sun in a quiet atmosphere.

Upon entering, the person at the front of the snack bar was kindly greeted. Didn't get a greeting back so I ordered food. Paid and then waited. After dinner (it was ready quickly and very tasty), I placed the tray on the counter and wished the person at the front of the snack bar a nice day at work. Then I didn't even get a greeting back.

Absolutely delicious and the perfect end to a day at the beach. Back tomorrow!

I was just at this cozy snack bar and was very happy with the ambience. The food was tasty and fresh, but what really stood out was the service. The younger, bearded employee with reddish hair was extremely nice and accommodating. He helped make my visit there even more enjoyable. You can eat cheaply here. But I have to live with the fact that the food isn't the best. So I had a burger. You could see that it was a pressed piece of meat from the supermarket, but definitely edible

We were at the Corfwater campsite for 14 days and during this time we ate from Moritz or brought food to the tent four times. Unfortunately I can only rate the Lekkerbek and the fries because they are so delicious that I didn't feel like trying anything else 😅 best Lekkerbek ever! Crispy and juicy - really delicious! Many thanks to the team who worked through long queues of hungry customers in the heat - without losing our mood 💪 we are looking forward to our next holiday and would love to come back 🖖

Where to eat kibbeling - a specialty of Holland. After a long day at the sea you can eat and drink fish and other dishes here. Moritz Restaurant has two parts, one part is a snack to take away or have a quick meal and one part is a restaurant where you can order the dish like a snack, but with a nice view and a clean and cool restaurant. You can also eat ice cream here. Staff can also speak German and English well. Here recommend KIBBLING to eat, very very tasty and excellent
