We've always enjoyed the sushi from Mr. Sushi, always good, fresh, and very tasty!

Delicious food, lovely people, a bit of a wait but worth it, still got a nice bag of spring rolls

Ordered sushi today. After 1.5 hours, the food still hasn't arrived. I called the location, but no one answered... RIDICULOUS!!!!

The taste is sweet and very tasty

I placed an order at 5:30 PM. The food was supposed to be delivered between 6:35 and 6:50 PM. After 7:00 PM, the food still hadn't arrived. I called, and it turned out the delivery driver was on his way. Finally, the food arrived at 7:30 PM. It's very frustrating to have to wait that long, especially for the kids.

Not customer friendly and do not want to help you with a solution and the woman does not speak Dutch well and when a colleague answers the phone they just laugh at you because apparently it is not possible according to them worthless restaurant

I ordered sushi here tonight at 18:40, at 19:30 the email clearly says that they are on their way, unfortunately at 20:25 I had to call to ask where the delivery person was… Then I get a complaint on the phone about them being short-staffed, that they put extra food in the bag, after which they just hang up. Extremely rude! Previous reviews also contain written answers from the company; contact us by phone for a suitable solution. In my experience this means that you have to take into account their shortcomings in their organization, completely irrelevant to customers, and you receive extra food if you keep your mouth shut. Well, the final score: the sushi arrived after 110 minutes, 50 minutes on the way, the food is just warm and there is nothing extra with it… I feel completely lied to!

Ordered a poke bowl today. It was stated that it would take an hour to deliver. Eventually, I was called after an hour to say that they only had 1 car and that delivery would be later. 45 minutes later. As compensation, we received mini spring rolls. Eventually, after 60 minutes, I was called again to ask where it was. They indicated that it would be there in 15 minutes and that they could not do anything about it. Then I indicated that they should have communicated earlier so that I could have canceled immediately after placing the order. The employee was very mean and that I should have called myself after 45 minutes to cancel. They placed responsibility on the customer, while they had known all evening that they had “only” 1 car and could not do anything about it. The customer is not king here and they do not understand what service is. Eventually, I waited almost 3 hours, with a bag of mini spring rolls as compensation.

Food was fast but that was the only positive. The sushi rolls did not look good and the spring rolls were limp.

Normally very satisfied but not today. A roll was missing (veggie), there was a fly in the pickled ginger which was really WAY too hot this time, and they called us to ask if they could deliver the order an hour earlier than we had requested. Which I honestly find a bit strange, because of course we don't request that time slot for nothing. The sushi was rolled thicker than usual, and I really didn't think the girl who came to deliver was dressed representatively (in a sloppy tracksuit). I wanted to email about this, but there is no email address on the website. Ordered in the name of Lok.

It's a takeaway. The atmosphere is bright. The salmon and tuna are super fresh and the rice super tender. In recent weeks I suddenly felt like having Sushi again. Achieved 4 times and consistent quality. 30 04 2025

Got it at all mr sushi branches in the area; Groningen Assen Drachten, but this one was really the tastiest. Super fresh, rice with good taste and good proportions.

5 stars - 2023: First time ordering here. Very tasty pokebowl with lots of toppings, a little too much in relation to the rice, but that can also be very beneficial at the same time! The sushi tasted very delicious and fresh! Also very nice that they deliver from €12.50. The delivery person was also exactly on time as desired. Definitely order again! EDIT: MARCH 2025 (3 stars) Unfortunately, things have deteriorated here. Just ordered a pokebowl with crispy chicken sushi. The pokebowl was fine, not as tasty as it used to be. The salmon could have been a little fresher. What was really disappointing was the chicken sushi. It doesn't look like much and I couldn't chew through it at all. The fried dough around it was really tough and soggy. The sushi didn't taste good either. It was way too sweet and you couldn't even taste the chicken. The delivery was very fast. I ordered at 4:00 PM and the food arrived in 30 minutes.

Food is always very good but this time I waited more than an hour than the agreed time.

More often late for delivery, without receiving notification. And cannot be reached by telephone. While you order something for a high amount.

Ordered last week and received it on time, but the sushi was very soaked with moisture and was unedible. Called and they picked it up again. Agreed that I would get the money back but got nothing!! Making an appointment but not keeping it!!!.. and thank you mr sushi.. you should be ashamed of yourself!!! Diana van der Graaf

Tasty sushi, terrible delivery. It is now standard for them to be late, the same story every time: 'it is exceptionally busy'. When I pick up I see that people are constantly calling about where the orders are, while sometimes there are only two of them in the kitchen. Terrible organization with a manager who can hardly make himself understood, don't apologize but fix it. Over the past year it has only gotten worse. Update: it's 45 minutes late. We were promised something extra on the phone as an apology and that was not included

Really nothing. I have been to Mr Sushi before but this. Roden's is not up to standard as the rest of the restaurants. Ordered arrived fifteen minutes later. That's not a problem, but if you call and ask "hey, how about that" and only get "is on its way, have a nice evening" it could be a bit more customer friendly. The boy on the scooter did well so that's nice👍🏻 very nice. Then the food was fine, but what I expected was sushi and not a rice ball, it really just seemed like a ball of rice with a little shrimp in it. The pokebowl was good but unfortunately the choice was limited. Tuna seemed to go gray too!! I would say go to the other Mr Sushi if you want to go to 1 because this is nothing like that.

Delicious food. Pick up not really attractive.

Ordered here for the first time. Order placed at 6:15 PM. Dinner would be there at 7:05 PM. Food never arrived and it was very difficult to reach by phone. In the end, the food didn't arrive until 8:30 PM... First and last time here for us.

Atmosphere not rated because I got takeout. All sushi almost too delicious to share at home.

Ordered here again for the second time, but as usual the food is much late again. And when you call them they don't answer. And always the same excuse, it's busy. Well, I'm busy too.

Ordered at 5:25 PM. 7:05 PM still nothing received. Unreachable by telephone. First time Mr Sushi: the last time. Next time just Merry Gold: they deliver within the hour and have excellent sushi. Update 8:15 PM: the delivery person shows up on the sidewalk with the order after almost 3 hours. Without excuse or comment. We had now ordered elsewhere: delivered and eaten after 4 fruitless calls with Mr Sushi and for delivery by Mr Sushi. Had the delivery person take the order again. Let's hope we get our money back.

Good pokebowl and friendly staff!

Laten bezorgen in de buurt van Roden. Fijne service, snelle bezorging en prima prijs/kwaliteit verhouding. Ik vond een aantal maki's maar half gevuld, en de California maki's hadden geen masago (oranje eitjes) rondom, zoals op de website foto. Maar verder lekker gesmuld!

Heerlijke sushi, goed gerold en echt super vers. De gefrituurde sushi is echt een aanrader en de schalen zijn mooi opgemaakt. We gaan zeker weer bestellen.

Slechtste sushi die ik heb gegeten. Ik eet al jaren sushi en heb dit gegeten bij heel veel verschillende restaurants. Maar een restaurant welke op elke sushi mayonaise smeert mag wat mij betreft zichzelf geen sushi restaurant noemen. De bezorging was prima en de medewerkers zijn vriendelijk en correct.

De crispy’s waren heel lekker. Ik ga hier vaker bestellen! De sfeer in de zaak was erg fijn.

Net de nieuwe ebi-party box gehad. Super lekker en verrassend snel klaar, echt een aanrader!

Helaas teleurgesteld! De Flamed rolls zijn niet lekker en hebben ook niets met sushi te maken. Ook sushi is helaas aan het vernederlandsen. Bovendien zijn de sushi's veel te groot. Helaas zie je bij anderen de sushi's ook steeds groter worden (veel rijst)

Tweede ervaring: We werden gebeld met uitleg en excuses. Iedereen kan een keer een slechtere avond hebben. Hiermee een kortingscode gekregen en voor de pokebowls gegaan. De pokebowls zou ik zeker nog een keer bestellen. Eerste ervaring : slechte ervaring met bestellen. Ik wilde vanavond via de telefoon bestellen en laten bezorgen. Echter kon dit niet omdat ze niet het pin apparaatje mee geven aan hun bezorgers. Benoemd dat ik contant geld in huis heb. Reactie hierop is dat ze geen contant geld aannemen. Dus graag online bestellen. Dit vond ik een beetje raar. Bij bijna alle bezorgingen die ik heb kan ik wel met pin betalen en anders toch zeker wel met contant geld. Na het telefoongesprek heb ik toch de online bestelling gedaan. Echter kwam ik er bij de betaling achter dat me dit ook nog €0,25 cent extra kost vanwege transactie kosten. Dit is niet van deze tijd lijkt mij. Ik vind deze service heel raar en het bracht me terug naar het jaar 2000 dat ik in de Primera stond om iets met pin te betalen en dat het me extra kost voor de transactie. Toch wilde ik de sushi proberen vanwege de lovende reacties. Maar na het zelf te hebben geprobeerd ben ik van mening dat het niet de lekkerste sushi is en dat de service niet voor mij is. Ik vind het raar dat je niet bij de bezorging kan betalen (zowel pinnen als contant) en dat je ook nog eens extra moet betalen (bij online bestelling) vanwege transactie kosten. Plus punten: - bestelling was snel. Er was genoemd een uur, maar het was met 40 minuten al bezorgd. - Een aantal van de sushi waren erg lekker, waaronder de flamed salmon ebi roll en de soft Shell ebi roll. Min punten: - De uiteinden van de fried sushi was erg hard. - sommige sushi stukken zaten niet goed in elkaar. De verhouding was niet altijd even goed en sommige stukken zouden beter gerold kunnen worden.

Bezorging snel maar bestelling incompleet. Drinken zat er niet bij. De warme artikelen in een papieren zakje, doordrenkt met frituurvet. Gezien de prijs mag je een net doosje verwachten waarin je warme artikelen verpakt zijn. Eten zelf had weinig smaak.

We hadden een niet zo goede ervaring met levering. Waar ik echt teleurgesteld in was. maar zoals hieronder vermeld, vandaag netjes gebeld met excuses en een goede uitleg en nette compensatie.. ik ga Mr. sushi om die reden zeker nog een keer weer proberen, want op de smaak van de sushi was niets op aan te merken. Goed opgelost

Prima sushi qua smaak, maar niet erg netjes gemaakt. Hele losse rolletjes, die snel uit elkaar vielen en bij de gefrituurde rolls waren alle achterkanten keihard, oneetbaar. Vanwege drukte kwam de bestelling een uur later dan afgesproken. Hier is wel over gebeld, met de mededeling dat het nu werd ingepakt. Daarna duurde het nog 45 minuten... In totaal was de bezorgtijd bijna 2 uur.

Na de eerste week van de opening een fantasie van de eigenaar box besteld Heerlijk wat vers mooi gemaakt en zeer smaakvol dit in de eerste week! dat beloofd tien sterren voor de toekomst !!

In een woord: H E E R L I J K ! Wij hebben gesmuld van lekker verse sushi. Het was de eerste keer dat we bij deze nieuwe mr Sushi in Roden hebben besteld. Deze keer de fancy dinner box gekozen. Wil je een keer een next level sushi proberen dan is dit zeker een aanrader: luxe sushi met verassende niet standaard smaken. Max en Emma onze complimenten! Groeten G & G

De tonijn en de zalm op de nigiri waren ECHT vers. Ze bezorgden in Een, te gek. We hebben een studentenbox besteld, met allerlei verschillende soorten sushi waar we gek op zijn. Hele goede kwaliteit en je betaalt zeker niet de hoofdprijs. Echt super!

Heerlijk gegeten, ook de gefrituurde sushi is een aanrader. We hebben wel een tijdje op de bestelling moeten wachten maar dat is te verwachten als je in het weekend besteld. Anders waren het 5 sterren geweest! Bestellen zeker nog een keer weer.

Vriendelijk personeel, hoewel officieel nog niet mogelijk, wél bezorgd in Peize (top!). Sushi ook prima. Een aanwinst.

Zonder van mijn geld geweest.. kip is vreselijk zout en rollen vielen uit elkaar.. hopelijk komt er snel verandering in.

De pokebowl (zelf samenstellen) gegeten vanavond. Best lekker, helaas geen mango als optie. Hopelijk gaat Mr. Sushi daar nog eens over nadenken! De kip was erg zout, voor de rest was de pokebowl goed gelukt.

Heerlijke sushi gehaald voor mijn zoon en mij. Top service en de zaak ziet er schoon en netjes uit. Personeel is super vriendelijk en het belangrijkste de sushi was heerlijk! Vooral de keus in sushi boxen is ideaal. Wij komen zeker weer terug.

Enorm lekker gegeten! Prachtige gemaakte sushi! Echt een aanwinst voor Roden.
