These arepas are the best! I’m Colombian and for the first time a try an arepa that I truly like, since I live abroad. The flavors and ingredients they use (spoiler: sweet plantain!) make me feel closer from home. I can taste the passion they put in making a delicious and great product for the customer! Gracias Mr. Plaenty and keep doing what you are doing guys!

Absolutely loved the vegan arepa’s that were served. Very friendly staff as well. They were very kind to us. Would highly recommend to visit the place whenever you have the chance! Also, the homemade juice is not on the picture, but make sure to grab you one of those as well while at it. Won’t disappoint either. 5 deserved stars!

I’m from Venezuela and since I found out Mr.Plaenty’s arepas, I cannot stop eating them at least 1 per week. Soo delicious, tasty and fresh! All the time I’m bringing my friends too and they love it as well, even if they were not used to eat arepas before :D

Fantastic, delicious and filling street food packed with vegan goodness for your pleasure! Owner is super friendly, funning and inviting and the home-made arepa's (columbian/venezuelan street food) are a treat for the eyes and mouth. A must try!

A woman-owned and minority-owned eatery serving fully vegan Korean and Japanese-inspired food, such as Jjajangmyeon Spaghetti and Cheesy Dakkalbi. Not traditional dishes but interesting if you like fusion concepts. Limited seating and mostly self-service, as it’s mainly a takeaway concept and it’s a one-woman show~ (She literally does the ordering, cooking, serving on her own!) Located near De Pijp Station.

Food is amazing. We paid 15 for big burger and sweet potato fries. Staff is welcoming and nice. Top spot for vegan food lovers.

I was here the day before yesterday. Everyone was super friendly and very attentive. The wait was perfectly acceptable. I had the Burger D'Italiano in a pink bun, with a chicken patty, mushrooms, tomatoes, lettuce, and caramelized onions. It came with homemade fries, mayo, and a small Pepsi Cola. Everything was excellent, tasted very good, and the decorations were meticulously detailed, in my case with lettering made of ketchup. To be more in keeping with the burger's name, I would have expected arugula instead of lettuce, but it was delicious anyway. I was very happy that you could also sit outside. However, the street is very narrow, so cars/vans drive right past your table, and you can see, among other things, the garbage cans of the neighboring buildings. My recommendation would be to put up privacy screens or place tall flowerpots with tall plants to create a visual barrier. The floor was a bit uneven, so the table was tilted. Perhaps just putting a slat underneath would certainly improve the guests' comfort. ;-) All in all, I was very happy to have found you during my visit to Amsterdam!
