The food was very yummy and the service was friendly and they didn’t take a long time to get our orders ready. The ambience was relaxing and the art on the wall would make you nostalgic of a past trip to Greece or hopeful for a future one. The restroom was also clean. I recommend that you visit if you’re in Amsterdam. I’d definitely go back. Would love to try more things on the menu.

We really enjoyed our meal here. Our server was excellent very friendly, and all staff were great with the kids. Me and my partner ordered the meat sharing platter which was enormous and great value coming with fries, salad and tzatziki. Other family members got the stefado which they enjoyed. Definitely visit for a greek experience in Amsterdam. Yamas!

I’ve tried Greek food just a few times in life, and when I went to Mythos I ordered the Pyta Gyros Varken (pork) with no onion and Tzatziki on the side (as I don’t like onion and I wasn’t sure about garlic, which I don’t really like if the flavour is too intense). The food was GREAT! Very tasty and the Tzatziki ABSOLUTELY TASTY (mild garlic flavour). I’d recommend Mythos for anyone in Amsterdam! A place you MUST stop by on your stay! The restaurant ambience is cozy and warm :)

We had a reservation booked at 20:00 for 2 people. We arrived at 19:55 and they asked us to go wait at the opposite Thai restaurant for 5-10 minutes to not feel cold (gentle but weird gesture). Ended up being called again to this restaurant at 20:10. The food was okay tasty but not worth 75,25€, just ordered the meat platter and 2 drinks, when in the menu it said that one portion is minimum for 2 people and it was confusing so we ended up ordering 2 (basically we feel they tricked us). Final point is that we asked for 1 rice and 1 fries and they still gave 2 fries.

Chosen at random. If you're looking for Greece in Amsterdam, this is the place to be. Super delicious food. Be sure to try the appetizer platter first. Really good drinks. Friendly, very attentive service. Greek feel. Very good selection.

The best souvlaki I've had outside of Greece. Very decent. The service is perfect. The decoration smells like Greece. Inside the restaurant there is a real bougainvillea tree. We will definitely go back. It's worth a visit if you're in Amsterdam.

The food wasn't anything special, but the price was. Unfortunately, it's overpriced. Not worth it! Service was terrible. Even after repeated requests, I couldn't order. In short, not recommended! There are much better restaurants in the neighborhood.

The food was average but overpriced. The potatoes inside the pita gyros tasted like squid and had clearly been fried in the usual oil. The place was very basic and lacking in hygiene.

We had a great meal here yesterday. Most of the mixed grill items were tender and well-seasoned. The only thing we were a bit disappointed with was the gyros. The atmosphere was great, and the staff was very friendly. We'll definitely be back.

Terrible, avoid at all costs. Anyone calling this “the best Greek food in Amsterdam” either has never had real Greek food or doesn’t know what good food, or even just edible food, tastes like. As soon as you walk in it’s obvious this is essentially a tourist trap. Slimy owner chatting you up… knowing he’s got you. The chicken gyros I had was €11, small, and hardly edible, I had to throw most of it away.

Went on our first night in Amsterdam. I had two young kids. When I asked about baby chair they said they didnt but they went out and got one from another restaurant. The behavior of the staff was very friendly and polite. The food was very good. Definitely will recommend if you want greek food in Amsterdam.

Always go here for a girls night or just for a while To eat well, especially the gyros is so tasty and we always go on Wednesdays. The service is great and the chef is also nice. Afterwards a drink. So come here for a nice and cheap meal and cozy.

A very good Greek restaurant in Amsterdam. The staff was friendly and approachable. The food (especially the mezedes (Greek tapas)) is highly recommended. Prices are a bit high, as everywhere in Amsterdam, but not a scam. All in all, decent, hospitable service :)

If you like typical Greek food this is the place to go, me and my wife orders the sharing platter as a start and it was beautiful, only problem was there was loads of it so struggled fitting in my gyros chicken !

We got one chicken souvlaki and one gyros on plate. Souvlaki was delicious but gyros wasn’t fresh it tasted from supermarket.

We missed Greek food and went to Mythos. George loves Greek cuisine and it shows! Choriatiki is truly Greek with a perfect slice! We also liked the mixed meat platter with steak and souvlaki very tasty!!! Happy New Year George, we hope to see you again!

The food was great, the atmosphere and staff was great! 10/10 recommend. My friend and i walked in around 22:30 and the kitchen was open! We got saganaki, zucchini fritters, dolmas, lamb chops and it was all so amazing!

Absolutamente horrible. A pesar de leer las críticas y pensar que este sería un buen lugar para comer, estaba lejos de ello. Conseguimos el halloumi para empezar y vino nadando en aceite y la ensalada tenía un sabor gracioso como si acabase de venir de una nevera después de una semana de sentarse allí. Luego fuimos a por giroscopios de pollo y la carne estaba tan dura y sin sabor. Y vino con un cuarto de pan pitta. ¿No se supone que los giros están listos para envolver? Las patatas fritas eran sosas y aceitosas y vimos la cocina usando el microondas para la mayor parte de nuestro plato. Honestamente puedo decir que lo mejor de la comida fueron las pocas cebollas que estaban sentadas encima del “pollo”. No recomendaría ya que mientras escribo esto mi pareja tiene calambres estomacales muy malos y se siente muy mal.

As a Greek person, I can confidently say that the experience felt just like eating in my home country! We had gyros, spare ribs, fish, and some starters, and everything was fantastic. The prices are excellent for Amsterdam, and the staff was friendly and welcoming. We will definitely visit again!

One waiter brought drinks, another just took the menu book from us and didn't ask what we wanted to eat. After 10 minutes the first person came with the question: what do you want to drink? Our answer was that we have already brought you the drinks, we want to order food. My moussaka was cold and was simply put in the microwave after my complaint. It was very quiet, yet no one came to ask if everything was to your liking. Three times a lady from outside walked to the kitchen with plastic bags of bonduelle frozen vegetables. So unfortunately not a second time for us.
