Delicious sandwich and friendly staff, but astronomical prices, not in proportion. Average value for money.

The rolls were cold, rock hard, and not baked properly. We live three minutes from Rossi, so the travel time can't be the issue. That was terrible, and for 29 euros (!) I understand it's busy on Saturdays, but for those prices, I expect at least a fresh roll. I baked the rolls myself at home. Reply to the owner's comment: We picked up the rolls ourselves and didn't use Uber Eats, home delivery, etc.

This used to be our go to lunch place, but prices have skyrocketed, portions are much smaller, and more ingredients are precooked. Barely go anymore, such a shame.

Tuna melt was super oily and 13€ for this is way too much. Quality price does not match

The sandwiches are truly delicious. I've tried several now, but the spicy chicken is by far my favorite. Every time I work from home, this is my go-to lunch. Love it!

I thought this was going to be a nice fresh deli style of sandwich, but unfortunately the bread was very dry and stale (must’ve been baked days before and so was dried out) I had the zucchini sandwich, but unfortunately the flavours were bland and the ingredients were also quite dry. The stale bread did not marry well.. I had to throw half of it away… won’t be back again.

The carpaccio sandwich itself was tasty, but €11.50 is really overpriced.

Unfortunately, the portions have gotten smaller, with less filling. That's why I think €11-€12 per sandwich is a lot for what you get. Just over a year ago, you paid €7-€8 for a generous sandwich. Too bad! The service is otherwise excellent.

Friendly staff. But you would expect more filling and a larger sandwich for the price. The mortadella was only a single layer and the bread was narrow and short. If you get a 10+ euro sandwich, it's not enough to be your lunch...

The previous review about the change in quality/composition of the sandwiches removed. Glad you are back on track, it was delicious again. Well filled and the same tasty dough as before! The renovation has also done good, seems like a pleasant logistical way to work. Thanks and come back more often.

Amazing sandwiches for a decent price. We “loved” the chicken sandwich, I believe it was called pollos picante, very very good taste! One sandwich should be enough as a standard lunch.

The best sandwiches in Amsterdam West. I must have had their carpaccio 8568065 times and it never disappoints. The bread is always fresh and crispy, the ingredients are high-quality and always fresh, the amount of sauce is just right.

What GREAT SANDWICHES! The owner is also so pleasant. What an asset. I had the zuchinni sandwich with extra Parma ham and it was delicious. The first to many more!

Lamb pastrami sandwich, don't take it! Really, really dirty! Joking aside, I have never tasted such a disgusting sandwich. 14 euros for a sandwich that tastes like vomit. A friend of mine had vitello tonnato which was tasty.

I ate a porchetta sandwich at their Maasstraat location. Look I don’t mean to offend or anything, but this is not an Italian sandwich. Very small pita like bread with some veldsla and mayo and a little bit of porchetta for €12. To the owners go to Florence, New York or even like London buy an Italian sandwich at a deli and see what an Italian sandwich is. It should be a focaccia like bread exploding with oozing mozzarella, arugula, sundried tomatoes and definitely no mayo, drenched in good quality olive oil.

It says "thinly sliced", but it's actually "a thin slice". Avoid this overpriced meagre sandwich shop.

Tasty sandwiches with lots of choice and good flavour combinations, especially the porcetta. I think the prices have gone up, shouldn't get too expensive otherwise it will be crazy.

Unfortunately for me was a bad experience. I have ask a bread with gorgonzola and 'nduja. At the beginning the blon dutch lady was a bit confuse and we clarifyed say again "Gorgonzola and 'nduja". When she was delivering the bread to me I have mentioned 'NDUJA for the 3rd time. At the end she give me a bread with gorgonzola and figs jam. We discovered it when we arrived to the park. She is working at an Italian food shop. She should knows what 'nduja is.

The sandwiches are really a treat to yourself! It's great that they are also open on Sundays from 8 a.m. When something went wrong with the delivery address, it was immediately addressed and resolved. In short: delicious sandwiches and great service! Thank you!

Good sandwich place with a fast and nice service. In my opinion, the main downside is that the sandwiches are not particularly big and are relatively expensive.

Tasty sandwiches. Although the line here is not as long as at the neighbors (Fort Nine), this place is clearly popular. Still, the service was fast: you order at the cash register and can then wait at the other counter until your order is ready. There are some seats inside and outside, but this is more for a quick bite and not really a place for an extensive lunch. I took the sandwiches home with me. I had the zucchini and stracchino sandwich and really liked it. The lemon in it also made it nice and fresh and spring-like, and not too heavy. My friend had the porchetta. He thought the bread was a bit overpowering and that it could have used a little more sauce, but he still liked it (he's not much of a sandwich lover so that's actually a compliment). The sandwiches are a bit pricey but they are large and filling, I could eat them all afternoon. In short: very tasty and I think I will try some other sandwiches here soon. Update: tried another sandwich, the one with gorgonzola and fig compote. It was a nice fresh sandwich again, but the ratio of cheese to compote was missing. There didn't seem to be much cheese on it, making it a very sweet sandwich. In a different ratio (a little less compote and/or a little more cheese) it would be great. Still a nice place, I will definitely come back.

It used to be good, but last ordered a year ago because it was bad. Now I gave it another chance today, much to my regret! Vitello Tonnato was so thinly filled that I literally couldn't taste the flavor of the sandwich! And the Porchetta was so greasy it made me feel sick! And there too the greasy taste predominated!

We are missing one carpaccio sandwich! We ordered 2 and only received one, tried to call and the phone they provide is not working

I know it's Amsterdam and all... But €12 for an 'ok' Caprese sandwich with ham??? Come on man. These guys used to be sympathetic to the neighborhood, to Faam. Eating pizza when you don't feel like cooking. But now it's all about the dollar...

Nice sandwich place! Good variety of options with different Mediterranean products and combinations. Ingredients are quite fresh and the sandwiches are tasty. Prices are Amsterdam average, which might be a little too much considered that the place is outside the city center. However it’s located close to Admiralengracht which is a very nice canal to sit and walk by.

Fantastic sandwiches. You clearly notice that they have a passion for putting together the perfect sandwich. Working with beautiful quality products and you pay for that. But then you really have a well-filled sandwich that will keep you full for the rest of the day. Furthermore, a good atmosphere and nice people so you start your lunch with a smile and a delicious sandwich. In my opinion, the Porchetta sandwich and the new Lamb Pastrami sandwich are recommended

the sandwiches are really great, a bit on the pricey side but you get what you pay for. Unfortunately, they recently put up a sign saying 'headphones off in the store'. As someone with autism this is really very ignorant. especially in a super narrow store full of people and loud music, I can't normally buy a sandwich without headphones. this is really a shame.

Not bad! I ate the porchetta sandwich,the meat was a little bit salty. The bread was ok but for the price that I paid, i expected much better. It Was precooked pan focaccia bread. I drunk also an espresso and was also ok. So,they need to improve a bit more. The guy on the register was very friendly!! 👍🏻

I notice that the quality of the sandwiches is unfortunately deteriorating. I have been ordering sandwiches here every week for about 3/4 years and the quality is considerably lower than before. For example, I often get 3 'butts' of tomatoes with my caprese sandwiches, which I actually don't think is acceptable. There is also sometimes very little burrata on the bun and mainly the edges of the bun instead of the creamy inside. Shame

Mediocre sandwiches, a bit tasteless. Was expecting more filling for that price. We got vittelo tonnato and carpaccio, both sandwiches were almost the same, only sauce was different. I guess both were filled with vitello tonnato, no carpaccio. This was so confusing.

Got the chorizo and manchego sandwich… the manchego cheese was definitely not manchego and tasting like leerdammer, quite disappointing.

Delicious sandwiches and very friendly staff. You may have to wait in line sometimes, but it's worth it. I'm looking forward to more vegetarian options, especially one with manchego.

Today I got a sandwich and I had the most awful experience of my life. First I found multiple hairs in my sandwich so of course I went back to complain and get a refund. The people who work there are the worst, they would not help me or cared that there’s was hair in my sandwich, they are rude and so unprofessional- disgusting I will never order here again

Expensive, sparsely filled sandwiches. Vitello Tonnato sandwich, on which a spoonful of tuna salad was spread, 6 capers were divided, 3 slices of meat. Sandwich costs €9.50 (On the price list for €9.25). When ordering I was only looked at, not spoken to, and with difficulty a greeting came out.

Loved this place! Everyone working was so friendly and welcoming. I loved the sandwiches as well. I got the porchetta and my boyfriend got the spicy chicken and both were amazing. Super convenient location right off of the bike path and on the way back to our hotel. Lots of other little shops in the area as well.

Normally I never write reviews, but I thought the sandwiches were so tasty!! Chorizo ​​sandwich & Carpaccio sandwich were just right! My daughter also loved the homemade brownie. We will definitely order more often!!

Funny that the previous review is also about the ZUCCHINI sandwich. The previous reviewer gave it way too many stars. First of all, the bread was cold and stale. I can name 10 other places in Amsterdam that would never serve bread like this. Secondly, additional prosciutto (+2€) was definitely on a cheaper side as it was really hard to chew and had a lot of of stringed parts in it. Tasted really cheap. Overall, really upset with this place. Havent finished the sandwich.

A bit overrated, not bad, just mediocre. Better ingredients than Subway, but basically the same method of putting together the sandwich, it has nothing special. But hey, it's not crazy expensive or anything, so it's a nice addition to the neighborhood.

Had a ZUCCHINI & STRACCHINO. It was good overall, but for the price and considering ZERO ZERO costs almost the same and it is better (in my opinion) in every way (maybe except the long line sometimes at the store) I would not recommend it. Friends who had a non-vegetarian option seemed a bit more pleased. Other notes: the bread is cold and not crunchy, the filling was fairly tasty, but not a lot.

Don’t read what other people say. These guys make honest, tasty sandwiches at a great price, period. Good luck finding something with this value in Amsterdam. Much better than Zero-zero, without all the fuss of waiting in line!

Delicious bread, however too small and not very stuffed, we ordered serrano&tomaca and got it with other salad instead of rocket even though it said on the menu it’s with rocket.

Ik heb in tijden niet zo’n lekker broodje gegeten. Ik koos voor de pittige kip op aanraden en deze was in alle opzichten perfect met een heerlijke en bijzondere smaak. Beste broodjes van Amsterdam West!

Miss the old trattoria- sad they couldn’t keep doing both sandwiches and sell other items. Found that the new sandwiches aren’t as good as before but are still nice with more variety.

This place is not really hygienic. Spent 15 min waiting for my sandiest and observed the employees. They do not wash hands, do everything with bare hands not gloves or hand washing between. They do simultaneously assemblyof the sandwiches, picking drink cans from fridge, using the cassa, picking up the phone all without washing hands in between . The counter where they make the sandwiches is full of crumbs, ingredients falling out of all the sandwiches. They use a type of rucola directly from the plastic box that’s should be washed before. Hope nobody has allergies.

Had a Caprese during my brief travel to Amsterdam — I strongly recommend this place for their sandwiches and service!

Broodjes zijn echt top! Vitello tonnato blijft mijn favoriet. Goede prijs/kwali verhouding.

Als er een plek is in Amsterdam waar ik nog een laatste broodje zou halen voor ik de pijp uit ga is het wel bij Rossi. De broodjes zijn goddelijk en een ultieme smaaksensatie. Ieder zo zijn eigen smaak en voor ieder wat wils bij deze zaak. Ik kan mijzelf wel voor de gek houden en steeds andere broodjes proberen, maar voor mij blijft de porchetta toch wel een ultiem geluksmomentje en broodje van top klasse. Ga er vooral heen en maak een praatje met het leuke personeel, want het voelt als thuiskomen. 5 sterren!

Zalige broodjes, lekker koffietje gedronken tijdens het wachten en leuke, vriendelijke mensen. Dit wordt wel een vaste prik.

Ik had de 'goat cheese & roasted pepper'. De combinatie van het beleg was lekker, maar ik vond het brood/deeg niet zo bijzonder. Voor €7,5 mis ik toch een wow-factor. Misschien toch nog wat rijker beleggen?

I loved it when it was Faam and I still like it now. However, for the prices I was expecting a more generous portion. Sadly, I left Rossi hungry after having a sandwich.
