Delicious food, good service, friendly staff

I have been coming here regularly for a long time, and this remains, without a doubt, my favorite restaurant. I have never been disappointed. The food is always fresh, flavorful, and prepared with care. Whether I am trying something new or ordering my go-to favorites, the quality is always excellent. Additionally, the staff is incredibly friendly, hospitable, and attentive. You always feel welcome, and the service is fast and professional. That makes it the perfect place for me to relax, especially after a busy workday. I can wholeheartedly recommend this restaurant to anyone looking for delicious food, a pleasant atmosphere, and consistent quality. For me, this is a place I happily return to again and again. Absolutely 5 stars!

Highly recommended! Usually we go in west for a good Turkish restaurant but I was so happy to find a good restaurant in Oost closer to our house! Highly recommend the Adana and as dessert a must try is the Baklava with ice cream!

I ordered two grilled dishes which were tasty, and a guvec, but it was truly inedible. The staff were also irritated and didn't manage a smile. After the meal, I specifically asked for baklava and received a havuc dilimi. I pointed this out and the lady with blonde dyed hair told me that it was the same thing…???? This lady was super arrogant and not hospitable at all. This was supposed to be a nice Mother's Day, but unfortunately, the atmosphere in this place completely ruined it.

I would like to share my experience so that from now on you know what customer-friendly means. Today, April 27, 2026, we wanted to come in for a bite to eat as a couple. Upon entering, we had just taken our seats when one of your employees, with bleached hair, raised her voice and indicated that the table was reserved. After all, the entire restaurant was empty. To which we responded with: ‘Hello to you, ma’am,’ and the employee in question walked away disparagingly. I would advise you to do your work with love, and if you cannot do that, to work in the least professional manner possible. Ugh. Never again for us. Work on your customer friendliness. Instead

Good atmosphere. Staff is not friendly. You wont get your takeaway if they are crowded which is annoying. Food is soso compared to other restaurents in the sams price class.

We were warmly welcomed, seated, and our order was taken and the service was very quick. The food was good; we had mercimek (lentil) soup as a starter, followed by the Adana platter as a main course, served with either rice or fries. The atmosphere was calm.

It was empty when we arrived, and we immediately had a preconceived notion. But the food is simply surprisingly good. The enthusiastic staff (Ali), in particular, enriches the experience. We visited in February and definitely recommend the restaurant.

I was in Amsterdam for a week and has dinner here twice, both time the food was truly amazing! The lamb chops are the best that I have had, and the Adana is also great. Ayran was very tasteful and has the right testure. The highlight of it all is the baklava and ice cream!

This was our first time here, and we weren't particularly impressed. The meat was unfortunately too dry. It certainly had nothing to do with the quality of the meat, but rather with it being on the grill for too long. The service was excellent—attentive and friendly. The restaurant is very stylish, and there's even a prayer room or something similar for Muslims. While we didn't really enjoy the Adana, we'll definitely come back sometime. We had previously ordered delivery and liked it. This was our first time at the restaurant. Everything we ate (kuzu sis, tavuk sis, begendili kofte, icli kofte and finally kunefe) was incredibly delicious. The staff's warm approach were also priceless. It's definitely a place I will come to again and again.

I've been coming here for three years, but today was a huge disappointment. We came here for dinner, but the service was terrible. The food was served cold. There was very little meat, and the vegetables were minimal. Even the tomato and pepper on the plate were cold, even though they were supposed to be grilled. The waiter kept giving us evasive looks. He asked if we wanted tea with our dessert, and then charged us €3 for tea twice. On top of that, it was cold in the restaurant itself. It felt like the heating wasn't even on. In hindsight, I understand why the food arrived cold. It's a shame, because after three years, I really expected better. For me, this place has become a waste of time; the quality has really deteriorated.

If you want to eat delicious beyti in Amsterdam, you can come here. They offer rice or potatoes as a side dish. Although I don't usually prefer homemade ayran (a yogurt-based drink), I really liked the one here. The staff are also very friendly. They even made me a sample of the meatballs because I was curious about their taste. As someone who struggles to find meatballs exactly to my liking, I'm planning to come back here for them next time. The taste was just what I was looking for. The location is also convenient, very close to the metro. The restrooms were spotless. I definitely recommend it.

Food was very poor quality and taste. Extremely dry and the tomato sauce was horrible. Tasted like €2 canned pasta sauce.

Avoid at all costs! It takes them literally 2 full hours to deliver just a couple of kilometres away. No response whatsoever. Obviously the food was tasteless. Absolutely awful experience!

Considering that we are Turkish, being far away from our family, home, and country in a distant place like Amsterdam, and nearing the end of our trip while feeling almost sick, we were very lucky to find a warm chicken soup at Beyoglu Restaurant. The staff were generally very kind, polite, and genuinely helpful. The place was clean, hygienic, and well-lit. The interior design was nicely arranged with a warm and pleasant atmosphere. I should mention that it was a bit noisy, but aside from that, everything was great. The presentation of the soup was excellent, and the taste was perfectly balanced, with flavors that complemented each other very well. I honestly did not expect to find such a comforting soup in the heart of Amsterdam. After days of walking and travel fatigue, this soup was incredibly soothing for both me and my wife. We also tried the carrot slice baklava with pistachio and the künefe. Both the carrot slice baklava and the künefe were served with ice cream. The ice cream itself was very well-balanced, rich yet not overwhelming, leaving a pleasant milky taste on the palate. The desserts were truly delicious. Additionally, the restaurant’s attentiveness and complimentary treats made the overall experience even more enjoyable.

This place was a perfect evening meal! The staff is warm and welcoming and the food was excellent. We had a few different kabobs, and the chicken with cream. Very yummy. A menu in English would have been helpful.

I usually order food and have it delivered, but today I thought it would be fun to eat in the restaurant for once. The food is phenomenal. The meat is super tender and seasoned, and the fries are so deliciously crispy. The restaurant is clean, and they're super friendly. I even got a free Turkish tea. A little place in the prime Oosterpark neighborhood.
