Mewsim in Osdorp-Oost

Apparently, you can't order anything from the menu at 1 p.m.; it's not mentioned anywhere on the website. We told them the breakfast was already gone and not fresh, and that we wanted to order from the menu, but unfortunately, that wasn't possible. So we went elsewhere for dinner.

Had a great time at this restaurant! The food was super tasty and fresh. Loved the chill vibes by the lake – such a peaceful spot, especially at sunset. The shisha was smooth and flavorful, and the staff were really friendly. Perfect place to relax and enjoy good food and company. Highly recommend!

I loved the service, it's amazing, and Alaa and Mohamed are very personable and helped me a lot in choosing the food, as I am a vegetarian. Highly recommended.

Amazing food, amazing place Mercan was so kind for our all needs, it was one of best experience in AMS ever.

Unfortunately, it's gone bad. It's become a place for hookah bars. We used to go there occasionally, and take our guests. The service was passable and good. My last visit was today. The waiters are indifferent. The table isn't cleared. No one looks at you. On top of that, the prices are way too expensive. Paying €15 for 4 glasses of ayran doesn't make sense. One star. Removed from the list. Sorry, mewsim :(

We liked the food and desserts. The bread and spicy oil they brought before the meal was also very nice. It is a place you can go with your family. The fact that it is non-alcoholic was our choice. The atmosphere is very nice. It has a nice ambiance by the water. One aspect to criticize is that the teas are charged. More accurately, the tea that came was in a tiny tea glass and tasteless. It was more like tea given as a treat. And each tea is €2. If you are selling tea at this price, please make the glasses a little bigger and well-brewed and delicious.

Just had a lovely dinner here at Mewsim!!! The food was delicious, and we didn't have to wait long for our food either. The staff are also super friendly!!! They have a DJ every saturday which just enhances the lovely experience.

We were kindly welcomed and helped by a young lady – top service, 5 stars for her. After that, no attention at all from the rest of the staff. We asked for help, made eye contact, waved… they looked and just walked on. When someone finally came to help with difficulty, he did not speak Dutch, was reserved and seemed completely uninterested, but according to them the blame was not their own. It felt like some Turkish employees had trouble with service, especially if you do not speak Turkish. Very unprofessional and unwelcoming. The former Meram employees were less concerned with their fragile egos and more focused on real service.

We were welcomed very friendly. But when the service arrived we wanted to order a beer, the response was quite catty "we don't serve alcohol". Never had anything like that anywhere! Ok then just Coke. Then wait for the menu, until a waiter told us that we just had to scan the QR that was stuck on the table. Handy with an almost empty phone and confusing too. Then we also ordered pasta and hamburger. The pasta was quite small (but tasty!). The tables next to us got bread on the house in advance, we didn't...so we asked for it. It came right away. Ok then. Paid at the cash register inside, nice gentleman All in all it remains a pretty strange place I have to say, but beautifully situated on the water. I still find it strange that drinking is "not done" and everyone around you consumes tobacco (cigarettes and shisha)...for us Mewsim must have been a one-off. Strange atmosphere.

We were there last night, we went to have dessert and the attitude was disgusting, no attitude at all, some things we ordered didn't arrive so we ordered again, we ordered two waters, only one arrived and when we finally paid the water was also on the bill.😒

Yesterday we called to make a reservation for 2 people and we were told that we could walk in without a reservation. When we arrived the place was empty and we were asked if we had a reservation and if we could leave within an hour so that they could give us a place and they showed us a table where no one would want to sit. And when we didn't want that table they pointed out the duration to us. Wii also left very quickly and will never come back to such a ……….. It is absolutely not recommended just because of the service.

We had a breakfast buffet here, which was ok. But the owner was very unfriendly! He came to us to count the numbers. He indicated payment from 3 years. Later on the site we saw that 3 years was also free. We had to leave before 2 pm. Then we had some coffee and we were thrown out, so to speak. Moreover, we were paid twice for the coffee round and after calling back he only wanted to give part back. Ridiculous! While we were there a few weeks ago for a birthday and had very friendly staff. But the owner is very unfriendly.!!!

Today I went for breakfast with my girlfriend. We were not really welcomed friendly when we entered. The selection was otherwise tasty, extensive and fresh. When I put my coat on another chair, the not so friendly employee asked in a sharp tone if I was going to sit there. I said no. During our visit she did not come to us once to ask if we needed anything else, while I saw that she did this with other customers. I had to ask for a sparkling water myself, and even then she answered while her back was still turned to me. In addition, I had two plates that I had to return myself. She asked if I could still carry it or if she had to bring it, I decided to do it myself, because I would rather not see her with such an unfriendly face at the table.. Normally I like to give people the benefit of the doubt; everyone can have a bad day. But when you see that other customers are helped friendly and you are not, it feels like selective treatment. I don't think that is nice. This is also not the first time I have been treated like this by a female staff member at Mewsim. For that reason I will not be returning here anytime soon.

Surprisingly delicious food and great service! I have never really been a meat lover, but at this restaurant I really enjoyed a tenderloin steak for the first time. The meat was perfectly prepared: tender, juicy and deliciously seasoned. We also enjoyed the delicious mocktails - especially the strawberry and orange ones were fantastic! The restaurant is also very child-friendly. There was a place to change my child and the staff was super friendly and constantly attentive to my little one. The blonde lady in particular was a sweetheart, but actually all the staff were very friendly and helpful. In short: a great experience

With a group of 11 friends we went to have breakfast at Mewsim. We had made a reservation for 10:30 and according to the rules you are allowed to be there for 2 hours. The breakfast was an open buffet, the dishes were fine and the tea was also tasty. Around 12:20 a gentleman came to us to indicate that another group would arrive in 10 minutes. That was fine, we assumed we still had 10 minutes. So we grabbed our last fruit and tea. Until the same gentleman came back and said we had to get up. We asked if we could sit in the lounge, to possibly drink coffee. His answer was no, it was not possible. We had to go. It felt to us like being thrown out of the restaurant. In a rude and crude way. We understand very well what the policy is, but that is not how you treat your customers. A friend went back to the same gentleman to indicate that his way of communicating was not okay. He just didn't care. I think this is a real shame. That's why never again Mewsim Osdorp for us.

The breakfast open buffet was truly delicious. The restaurant itself had a beautiful sea-view and was nicely decorated, and the staff were friendly and welcoming. Everything was perfect. I definitely recommend it to everyone.

We went to have breakfast. The breakfast variety and taste was good. We called the day before and made a reservation for 10:30. At first they couldn't find the reservation and then they said you can sit until 12, nothing like that was said when making the reservation. Since we wanted to sit and chat, we said let's not sit then. Then they said it wouldn't be a problem. They came at 12:40 and said "reservations have arrived, we can't take them, you have to get up" I told them that I had asked about this at the beginning and they had said it wouldn't be a problem. They harassed me like this 3 times. They also had an arrogant attitude and style when paying the bill. The food was no good in my eyes. Personally, it's not a place I would choose again.

We wanted to try this place for the first time on this Thursday afternoon, beautiful place on the water. Upon arrival we were greeted kindly and could take a seat, we did not get a menu because we had to scan it with the QR code. When we "only" ordered some drinks the friendliness became less, while we were planning to order something later, it was only 4 pm. After 45 minutes the lady came by to collect our glasses, did not ask if we wanted anything else and left us with an empty table so that was apparently the sign that we had to leave, which we did. The terrace was a quarter full so it was not busy. I would really advise you to treat every customer kindly, even if they only order a drink at that moment because you never know if they want to order something later and/or come back another time. Unfortunately there will be no sequel for us.

Mehtap helped me very hospitably during my visit to the restaurant. From the moment I walked in, her friendliness and professionalism radiated through the entire experience. She took the time to explain everything calmly, thought along with my wishes and made me feel really welcome. You don't often come across such a personal approach! Thanks to Mehtap, my morning felt extra special. An absolute winner - I will definitely come back!

You order, it arrives very late, you ask why it was late, they say "they haven't entered the system" and that's why it was late. We waited for hours for the food and dessert to arrive. There is zero interest. Only the place is nice, there is nothing else.

2 stars for atmosphere just because of the view. Unfortunately a major disappointment. First received the wrong order, then the flavors were disappointing. The waiters do not speak Turkish, but also very poor Dutch. Given the communication, no wonder the orders were wrong... I would say don't consume more than one drink. What a shame.

The service is really bad, they are so slow that it loses your enthusiasm. They forget your order, don't worry, nothing.

Truly one of the tastiest Turkish breakfast places. They have a lot of things that others don't have and everything is tasty and not everything tastes the same. It's just a shame that there aren't really any desserts. There are a number of types of fruit and dried fruit, but otherwise no other tasty sweets. You have to order coffee separately, these orders are often forgotten by the staff... Definitely worth having breakfast here.

Its a good place for halal food, they have good view on the lake, the place definitely needs some care, but nothing bad.

Today we had a delicious meal at Mewsin in Osdorp, but what really made it special was Mehtap. You rarely come across such a warm, sweet and sincere hostess. Her smile and care made our evening unforgettable.

3rd time I've come here, every time I ordered shawarma durum. This time it came very small, while it was always full. The restaurant was not busy there were only 7/8 tables Waiting 10 minutes before I can finally order something My food was ready on the table to be served and it literally stood there for 5 minutes. Staff were busy laughing and chatting with colleagues, which made the food very cold. The staff were absent all the time, they just stood in the kitchen, chatting, laughing and not looking around to see if anyone needed anything. Very bad service

We came to Mevsim Restaurant with a large and energetic group, without making a reservation. Despite this, we were greeted with a smile the moment we stepped through the door. The attention, friendliness and professionalism of the staff were truly admirable. Each employee enjoys their job, and this is reflected in both the service and the environment. Let's talk about the food... Everything was perfect! Every detail, from presentation to taste, was carefully prepared. Especially the meat dishes were tender and perfect. A separate effort is felt in every bite. Really well done to the chef! The interior of the place has a warm, colorful and very pleasant atmosphere. On days when the weather is nice, it is a pleasure to sit on the terrace. Mevsim Restaurant appeals to both your taste buds and your heart. I recommend it wholeheartedly. We spontaneously entered Mevsim Restaurant with a large, busy group, without making a reservation. Despite that, we were received very warmly and helped very well! We immediately felt welcome. And when the weather is nice, the terrace is highly recommended to enjoy your meal outdoors. In short: top service, delicious food and a warm, hospitable atmosphere. We will definitely come back!

Yesterday was my first time there, they are slower after waiting 50 minutes the food was served, tasty except for the meat was not fully cooked, this leads to diarrhea

We eat here quite often and it is always a great experience so I do not want to mark it down too much. Something has changed service has declined and the portions seem to have shrunk. Would have liked to order desert but staff did not seem to care when tried to get their attention.

We went to eat for Iftar you got the starter of the house you could only choose main courses of 45 to 50 euros we had chosen a Mix grill with tenderloin and entrecote no tenderloin got and the meat was tough and cold, after we indicated this to the staff she said yes it is busy, also the soup that you got from the "house" was full of meat with fats and was tasteless after a whole day of fasting this was a big disappointment. The staff was very nice but not value for money.

Price and taste 3 star is more than enough. I think I will not go again. There are more beter options around the Osdorp.

We visited this restaurant during Ramadan. The starter, a soup, was fine. The main course, the mixed grill, seemed promising, but unfortunately the minced meat was raw. Given the price of the iftar menu, we expected larger portions, but the food was simply not enough. All in all, the price-quality ratio was very disappointing. I would not recommend this restaurant.
