Nefis in Dapperbuurt

The owner and staff are friendly. I can say it's one of the best restaurants to go to if you want to eat Turkish food. The food is quite delicious. Thank you for everything. It's a place we would definitely visit again if we come back.

The soup was superb and the meat-filled bread was very good.

We had a wonderful meal here, with delicious, freshly grilled meat, and you can really taste it. It's been a long time since we've had such delicious Turkish food. They also serve freshly made ayran, which is highly recommended!

A very nice restaurant at Amsterdam Oost to taste some traditional dishes from central regions of Turkey namely from Konya. Staff is very friendly and welcoming. Service is quick and interior is super clean. Go for Etli Ekmek and Bicakarasi with Cheese as main dishes then Kunefe with Tea for a tasty finish.

Essentially, it's a place that can make high-quality meat-filled flatbread when requested. I guess it's not always the same chef! However, unfortunately, the staff are very unenthusiastic and show no interest or attention to customers!

The calamari clearly came from a wholesale plastic bag. The flour was far too thick, and the taste was rubbery. The prawns were delicious with plenty of sauce. Bread was a must, so I ordered more, and it came straight from the refrigerator, so cold. The fries were mediocre. No salad. The service was very businesslike and disinterested. No alcohol, which is fine. It was made clear they didn't want to serve 0% beer either. A clear Muslim principle. The decor is more like a Turkish coffee shop. Very uninviting. Not recommended.

What a terrible experience at Nefis! 🤢 ❌ We ordered soup with bread and requested garlic sauce. He said NO, we thought he was joking, but he was dead serious. You're NOT allowed to have sauce with your bread and soup. PAYING customers who want to order sauce and pay for it are refused service. Absurd, we received incredibly poor service! A very unprofessional business owner! We will never come back here! ❌

I've never been treated so poorly in a restaurant as at nevVIES. We were given bread without garlic. Fine, we'll order garlic with it... but that wasn't allowed. "Rules," they said. As if customer service stops at a piece of paper with rules. We even offered to pay for it, just add it to the receipt, but even that was refused. The attitude was also rude and completely unservice-oriented. Absolutely no willingness to think along, zero hospitality, just ego and rules. It's clear to me: you're worthless as a customer here. I'll never come back, and I definitely don't recommend this restaurant in Amsterdam East.

The Turkish "etli ekmek" is definitely recommended. Delicious.

We come to Amsterdam from Germany every year, and we eat there every day, no matter how long our stay. It's highly recommended.

We had dinner here last night. Etli ekmek and lahmacun was very very good. We really missed turkish cusine and this was really the same as in Turkiye. Good quality ingredients and very nice service 👍 very good price for good quality. definetly will visit again

We tried the kelle paça and three different types of pita bread. The soup and the pita bread were both really good. It's a spotlessly clean establishment.

A few nights ago, I ordered a mixed grill with extra rice. Unfortunately, the rice was spoiled and smelled bad. My wife and I immediately got stomach aches. We immediately contacted Nefis for a refund, but they refused. Poor service and no accountability. Absolutely not recommended!

The food is like what you get in Istanbul. The Lahmacun, Turkish pizza, is the best I had in netherlands. Pide was ok not as good as Lahmacun.

We had soup, salad, meat bread, and lahmacun. We loved them all. For those craving Turkish flavors, this is one of the few places you can find in Amsterdam.

Very tasty Turkish dishes. Pides are the specialty. Good portion size, not too much, not too little, and excellent value for money. Friendly service. Highly recommended in the Dapperbuurt neighborhood.

Our family of four ate 1.5 portions each, and the portions were larger than I expected. There were plenty of ingredients, and the pitas were delicious. The atmosphere was also good, and the staff was attentive. I recommend the stuffed meatballs and the ezme (a type of meatball) as extra. The only downside is that it's so good it makes you eat too much. Good job.

Today, my wife and I were craving meat. A friend recommended us to the delicious Etli Ekme in Denhaag. We ordered two one-and-a-half Etli Ekme sandwiches and loved them. However, the two staff members, a young girl and a young boy, were so grumpy they missed our order. They didn't even offer us our bon appétit or ask if we liked anything else when they cleared our table. We asked twice if we wanted tea, and both of them ignored us. So, despite the food being delicious, this was our first and last visit to this place. We've never felt so unimportant at a restaurant before.

Food has unfortunately drastically deteriorated. The pide that was oh so delicious at their place, is of poor quality. The salad that is served with it, you can count the number of celery sticks on one hand. The fries at the mixed grill ditto. It is such a shame that this restaurant has become so expensive. All prices have gone up everywhere. But here the quality and quantity have also deteriorated. Staff is still super friendly. But I do not fill my stomach with that.

We went there 45 min before Iftar and give very simple order to not wait to much. They messed up all the orders and waited us 30 minutes after Iftar. Some people just came 5 minutes before Iftar and give orders at that time and eat before us.

I wouldn’t recommend the place, unfortunately. It was in my togo list for a while but left me disappointed. Food is fine, but not extraordinary. We had various meats and manti. Manti had almost no filling, which was disappointing. Kebab, chicken wings and grilled lamb were good, but some grilled meats were undercooked inside. Disappointing. In my opinion quality could me improved, and currently it doesn’t worth the money. Also, interior looks a bit cheap, I would expect lower prices from a place with such atmosphere, but unfortunately it’s not the case. Only Kunefe was nice.

Çal malzemedem çal! Berbatsınız. Don’t bother to go there, the stuff is with no meat and the Etli etmek and the bicak arasi is made with the same meat, which is straight up a robbery. Nerde Türk var orda kalitesizlik var 👍

A place I come to many times. The food is delicious, but I don't know whether it is the owner or the manager, he speaks rudely every time. Every time you say, damn it, why am I here again? So we can't get up without eating a little bit along with the meal. This time was the last time, I don't think I'll go again.

I came on two different days, the soups were very good, I also liked the rice pudding. If you're near Oosterpark, I recommend you try it.

Don’t expect the best atmosphere but the taste is amazing! You can not find similar taste even the top restaurants in Turkey! Definitely try “Bicak arası peynirli” and drink “yayik ayranı” This is foodporn!

The portions are small, they bring three pieces of something a little bigger than the appetizer tea plate, which is very funny. If you collect the appetizers they brought for five people, it may or may not be a portion for one person. The portion they brought as mixed grill gara was definitely not filling. You can see the appetizer and mixed grill portions they brought for five people in the photos. There was a young waiter, I think he was the owner's son. He is a kind and cheerful young man. I gave these three stars to him for his sake. I paid 112.5 Euros for five people. It definitely doesn't deserve this money. I did not find the owner of the business very kind. I think his only kindness was that he wanted to offer tea. Other than that, he looked like he was working hard. A place I will definitely not go to again. I don't think everyone should open a restaurant. Information: There is no parking, there are paid parking lots on the street.

Meat bread and bicakarası were really delicious. Buttermilk was just right. A nice place to eat in Amsterdam. Prices are reasonable too. The amount of salad they served was small. (The ingredients that should be put in a salad were served separately. Appetizers can be diversified, my humble advice.

As local residents, we REALLY like coming here! We go here every 2 weeks and it is DELICIOUS, always freshly prepared food and lovely staff. It is our favorite restaurant, and they can also fulfill special wishes.

A not bad Turkish restaurant. The service and treats are not very good, definitely not like in Konya.

EtliEkmek or the pide tasted great. You can taste that it comes from a wooden oven. Service is quite fast, could be a bit friendlier. I didn't think the price was expensive. I would definitely go again.

Meat bread is as delicious as its name, it even beats the ones in Turkey, it is frankly surprising to find it of this quality here. The employees are excellent people, just like their products. I wish I could give it 15 out of 5.
