As far as I'm concerned, this branch on Collardslaan can be considered a bygone era. You can sell good pizzas, but if the staff prioritizes their own image and pride, then the bad taste will inevitably set in! The delivery driver couldn't find the address, called in annoyed, and immediately indicated there was nothing they could do about it. Huh? Google Maps or something?... Anyway... Let's share the location then... Still impressive if you've seen all the streets around the destination... But luckily, I finally spotted the delivery driver out the window, 30 meters away from the correct street. While we were on the phone, I tried to get him to look to the right... But that proved to be difficult when you don't know the difference between the two. In my struggle to get him to look the other way (and where left and right no longer had any meaning at that point), the driver got very angry and asked if I still wanted my order... Because he also had to go to work, and (by threatening to leave without anything done), I was bound to be incredibly impressed... but not... To avoid the immediate confrontation, I referred him back to the youth center on Collardslaan. Apparently, it's very difficult for an employer to find good service staff if you're satisfied with this level of service.

After a cold and partially incorrect order, I politely contacted the store, only to be met with two rude people, and then, when I filed a complaint, received a rude and derogatory response from the owner. He falsely claimed I complained often and said I was "on an internal list" and wasn't allowed to order anymore. I've only had to complain about a raw pizza once before... Instead of an apology or a solution, I only received arrogant responses and was fobbed off. I've never experienced such unprofessional behavior. Truly scandalous for a large chain like New York Pizza.

I ordered 21 pizzas, but I received 20. You say it was counted, but that's incorrect. Thanks.

Since New York Pizza in Assen has a new owner it is inedible. They do not take complaints seriously. Satay pizza ordered everything except satay. Never again here.

After an hour still no food, no answering the phone and have had the tracking link on the road for 20 minutes while it is literally a 5 minute drive. Really the worst thing ever

I placed an order at 4:50 PM for 6:15-6:30 PM, but they finally arrived at 6:55 PM. I didn't even get a simple apology for the delay.

Do not order a double pepperoni pizza here! There is hardly any pepperoni on it and is therefore completely tasteless. Even if you click 2x pepperoni as an extra ingredient, you hardly get any pepperoni (2 slices per square). Also pay close attention to membership benefits. For example, if you choose free lava cake with your pizza, it seems like you are getting a discount, but this 'promotion' is even more expensive than if you order it separately!

Order was delivered after almost 2 hours of waiting (supposed to be 50 minutes). Pizza 4 types of cheese was inedible and the lasagna was burnt. Worthless place and worthless food Never order again, I'd rather eat from the garbage can

Last ordered at 9:47 PM, the business is open until 10:00 PM. We have not received the order, and we have not even received a message/phone call that it was no longer available! So I was hungry all evening and waited for nothing. It then took 2 weeks for me to get my money back, and no compensation was even given for the poor service. This is very unfortunate

I regularly order pizza from New York, normally very punctual and quickly arranged, but I just ordered at 9:24 PM, they close at 10:00 PM, haven't ordered anything yet and haven't received anything confirmed. I then order somewhere else at 10:20 PM. New York Pizza will come by at 10:35 PM with their order. And the other order was also received 5 minutes later. I'm really furious, it's really not normal that you are not available and don't let anyone know when you are closed. This is really scandalous.

Fast delivery pizza was tasty. Lava cake was basically just melted chocolate without the cake. Deposit paid for cans of drinks. But I can't return them because they are still the old cans. I understand that this is not a lot of money. But they still make money from this in an unfair way.

For culinary purposes, you don't order pizzas here, you know that in advance. Thought the 5 cheese pizza had too much tomato sauce. The poffertjes were not warm. On the other hand, I enjoyed the chicken pops! Delivery time was fine.

Forgot an ingredient on my pizza for the third time now! This is not what I paid for

I'm never going to order a second time from this New York Pizza Assen! The first order I made was a pile of mushrooms, almost no meat, beef completely missing, the box was soaked wet (see photo) from the water of the mushrooms or I don't know what! I called and they brought a second pizza. Almost the same experience, but this time with less mushrooms. Almost no meat, no beef at all, the New York pizza tasted like veggie pizza without taste. The Italian Garlic Chicken pizza was absolutely tasteless. I think the problem here is that this franchise is completely incompetent and run by someone who has no idea what's going on there! Be warned!

Yesterday I ordered 2 pizzas and 6 chicken nuggets from New York pizza. The pizzas tasted great, but when I went for a bite of my chicken nugget, to my great surprise I was sitting there chewing on a 20 cm hair. At first I thought it was a hair lying around, but this hair was in the chicken and the dough. After this I threw up a little bit and then I left the rest of the pizza. Pay more attention to hygiene, ladies/gentlemen.

You order a hot dog with hot dog sauce, then you get the hot dog without sauce! If you go after it, the sauce is gone…. Nice dry hot dog! -.- No communication in any way, 'oh we hadn't thought of that,' says the employee on the phone, who is probably difficult to hear because his breath sounds loudly through the phone! Hot dog is not that good, and the buffalo chicken pizza is tasteless and poorly topped, dominoes is 10x better, the only plus point is the white thing in the box. Tasty pizzas, always delivered on time. It pays to look for discount codes. Unfortunately, the quality is uneven, sometimes ingredients are missing or a pizza seems "thrown together" with everything in a pile in the middle.

The friendliness of the staff leaves much to be desired and the fact that the much older manager sits at the table in front of his clientele in his own clothes and does not even greet you upon entry, I think it makes you feel very unwelcome at NY 🍕 Assen.

Ordered around half past 9 last night, when eating the hamburger and pizza rolls (whatever they are called) I discovered that they were burnt. Not all rolls, fortunately. Then I thought: luckily I ordered chicken with sauce, the chicken was good, but unfortunately no sauce. The garlic bread was good. Unfortunately it was not ordered for me. It's a shame, if you don't want to work that late you'll have to look elsewhere. I think this is really a bad thing, especially if you are hungry!

Ordered three pizzas and all three did not match what I ordered. Only after some discussion with the unfriendly and stubborn branch manager did I receive what I ordered. According to this location, what I ordered was not even possible even though it is stated on the website. Very bad that the staff does not know which products they sell and then also makes the customer crazy.

It's okay, but the pizzas are very greasy and the first time (2018) I came there, the staff was not friendly and I found a hair in my pizza. 2nd time much better and nice staff (2019).

Had chicken that was bad, so bad, so to speak, rotten.

(Mid 2018) Pizzas no longer have the quality they used to have. Cheesy bread was quite greasy, as were pizzas by the way. Not again for us for a while, then preferably the Italian. Tried again (January 2019) and a big improvement, pizzas were back as they should be.

These were takeaway pizzas, there were enough recent magazines to get through the waiting time, the pizzas were very tasty as always! I also often have pizza delivered and they are nice and fast and the pizza is always hot, which is important because I don't have an oven, so I can't heat it up.
