Nice restaurant, and the food was fine! The staff, on the other hand; extremely stiff and very unfriendly. Steep bill...; just be nice then. It was a very pleasant evening with colleagues, though!

The restaurant has a disabled toilet, but the purpose of that is unclear to me. The establishment is absolutely not accessible. Even with a walker, the toilet is inaccessible, let alone with a wheelchair. The steps leading up to it also have no handrails. Incomprehensible in this day and age.

Very good restaurant where you can eat delicious tapas. You can sit inside or on the terrace. The quality of the food is really top-notch and the price-quality ratio is great. The service is polite and friendly, and the food arrives quite quickly, even though it was fairly busy.

We are on vacation, so we set off from Utrecht to tour the country a bit. When we ended up in the northeast and weren't sure what to do for a moment, we realized we were near Assen. Since we are big fans of Enzo and saw Villa Tapas by Devy pop up via that channel (a while ago), we decided to give it a try. We don't regret it at all! Delicious food, friendly staff, a good price, and the place looked very cozy and clean too. Until next time!

We have been coming here on and off for about 8 years now. We enjoy ourselves here just fine. Unfortunately, in those 8 years (as far as we could find), literally nothing has changed on the menu. It is still exactly the same. But anyway, the concept apparently works well, because it is always busy. But we wouldn't say no to something new every now and then.

Great food, but it's a shame that even your first drinks order has to be placed via a tablet. One aspect of dining out is a bit of personal contact and a nice chat. That's a pity; otherwise, it's fine and neat.

A few days in Assen, with an abundance of restaurants to choose from. But if you watch Enzo's vlogs, the choice isn't difficult. You simply have to eat here at least once. And it certainly didn't disappoint. Everything we tasted was delicious. The service was friendly. An allergen menu was available. The dishes arrived quickly. In short, if we are ever in the area again, we will definitely be back.

The food is generally tasty. Portions are strange. A portion of shrimp consists of 3 shrimp. Whereas when you order a pizza, you get a midi-sized pizza. That is too big, so I only ate a small part of it. The taste was fine, though. The kitchen is not sparing with the use of oil. Too greasy for my taste. Easy paid parking in the spacious parking garage.

Nice building, and the service was quite quick, but the food was a bit disappointing. The fish dishes, in particular, were all much too overcooked and bone dry. The salads all looked very similar and came with a very sweet dressing. Other dishes were nothing special either.

You can enjoy a delicious meal here! You order 3 dishes per round via a tablet. Tip: want to eat in peace? Then there is a semi-separate area in the back left where you can sit. No need for peace and quiet? Then go sit upstairs! This is the nicest place to sit.

A food factory. Service left much to be desired. Tapas were practically thrown on the table. We sometimes had to wait a long time for dishes, with one person sometimes receiving all three dishes while the other sat waiting for a very long time. The quality of the food was mediocre. Unfortunately, we ate there. I have rarely had such a nasty taste experience in a restaurant. The all-you-can-eat concept has low expectations regarding quality. However, this really is a low point. It is possible that the standards and quality of people in the Randstad are much higher.

I've been there several times and the tomato soup was always quite salty, but this time it was delicious! The food and desserts were also fan-tas-tic; the concept with the tablets is great for socially awkward people like me😅! The only downside is that the portions sometimes end up on one plate. So if two people order the same thing, it ends up on one plate, and some people don't like that. Otherwise, it was a top-notch experience again! Also, both upstairs and downstairs look beautiful in terms of upholstery, etc.!

Very nice restaurant with good staff. The food is served quickly, but tastes terrible. The pasta was dry, as if it had been sitting for hours. The meat was extremely well-done, making it very dry as well. The leg of lamb, on the other hand, was very tough. The bruschetta bread was hard and cold. The salmon was also very dry. All in all, it feels like all the food is prepared hours in advance and just thrown in the microwave before serving. In the end, we sat there for an hour and spent 82 euros. For us, it was a one-time visit and never again.

On Valentine's Day, we dined at Villa Tapas. The restaurant looks beautiful, and the service was generally friendly and welcoming. Unfortunately, it was incredibly busy that evening—far too busy, in fact—which was clearly reflected in the service. The dishes were served very late (you can choose three dishes per person every 12 minutes), sometimes taking more than half an hour, and the dishes weren't even warm anymore. Some of the dishes didn't even arrive. That was a shame. We also found the quality of the food somewhat mediocre; some dishes lacked flavor. The selection could have been better compared to La Cubanita or Het Zusje. It was also a shame that you had to pay extra for dessert; you'd expect this to be included in an "all you can eat" concept, or the price of dessert should be lowered, as we felt that wasn't quite right.

Went there two years ago for a company outing. This time for a birthday. Quite a difference from then, but no better 😬 Orders get forgotten/disappear, lamb rack tastes like salmon...

We ate here last week. It was delicious, but my son had a long black hair in his Twister fries. The waitress said, "Oops, that's my hair..." She took it back, and later, the same container of lukewarm Twister fries was brought back. My son had noticed, which can happen, of course, but not as fresh. I thought the pizzas were large; you're immediately full. Otherwise, the atmosphere is pleasant.

It was unbearable; the service wasn't friendly and they didn't look like they wanted to be there. One young lady brought us drinks; she didn't look at us and didn't speak. The food was slow; something we ordered in the third round only arrived when we were leaving. For this price, I would never go here, and it is certainly not worth a repeat visit.

The appetizers were great. The main course... lacked flavor, a bit dry. The pizzas were awful. And the pineapple...really...terribly cheap, if not tasty. Everything was overcooked, which shouldn't be the case. A shame, especially since it was very quiet. The price is too high, especially for what you get, and I already thought it was a bit steep. Not my thing here, despite the pleasant seating and the service.

I dined at Villa Tapas Assen yesterday. The atmosphere and service were fantastic, and the renovated building looks beautiful. Ordering went smoothly, and the staff was friendly and helpful. Unfortunately, I've had better food. The food seemed poorly seasoned, cooked either too long or too short. As if it had been reheated and not freshly prepared. Furthermore, several items on the cold tapas platter tasted sour, and I got the feeling that some of the items served were too old, such as the melon with salmon from the cold tapas category. My body, unfortunately, confirms this feeling. I'm now lying on the couch with food poisoning. It's a shame; we really had different expectations. Next time, we'd rather go somewhere else.

The food was excellent. The atmosphere in the restaurant was also great. However, the way drinks and dishes were served was truly terrible. It started with ordering our drinks. Our tapas dishes arrived before our drinks. Furthermore, the tapas we ordered arrived extremely slowly, and never all at once. Then we ordered olives, baguettes, and a meat platter. Cold dishes, no less. They didn't even bring them all at once, but constantly separately. By the time we finally ordered, we had been waiting 45 minutes for our last dishes, but we had already received our desserts beforehand and hadn't even finished the last round yet. The service and delivery of the dishes were very slow and poor. As compensation, we received our coffee and coffee ammaretto for free. That was decent, but I still went home disappointed. And I have no intention of returning.

Beautiful building, pleasant welcome. We got a nice table upstairs. After that, it became chaotic. There were always different (very) young people at the table. Having to constantly reorder and dishes being brought out one by one, very irregularly, was unpleasant and unsettling. It wasn't clear on the order pad whether a dish was vegetarian. At least four of the dishes we ordered weren't delivered. All the sauces tasted almost the same, and it was clear they had been prepared well in advance. Furthermore, most of the food was rather bland and had been sitting out too long. We were disappointed, and we'll go to a different tapas restaurant next time.

The food is delicious; ordering is easy and the service is quite fast. We're always thirsty while eating, and it bothers everyone. I saw many people ordering more than three drinks. It's a business model, really. They might have added something, like salt, to make us thirsty.

The food was dry and therefore unpalatable. There were seven of us. A lot of the food we ordered simply didn't make it to our table. The table wasn't cleared either, and after I called a "chef," the dirty plates and glasses were finally cleared. All in all, we were charged a hefty sum, even though we got dessert on the house. We definitely won't be returning. Too bad. The restaurant itself looks very nice. The kitchen and appetizers were presented very poorly.

Sfeervol restaurant met heerlijke tapas gerechten. Wij hebben genoten en heerlijk gegeten van echt alle gerechten en gaan zeker op herhaling!

Het eten was erg slecht, vlees was droog, broodjes vooraf waren heel hard. onze drankjes werden geserveerd in bekers vanwege TT.. erg jammer want er zit in verhouding veel minder in en je betaald er hetzelfde voor. Bediening was ook niet altijd even vriendelijk, leek net of ze het werk niet leuk vonden...

We took the chance again to eat at Villa Tapas. After having a bad experience the previous time, we wanted to give it another chance. Unfortunately, we regretted that a lot during the evening. The staff was nice, but the food was really incredibly tasteless. It also tasted anything but fresh and was really not restaurant-worthy. The cocktails are also the most expensive in its class and are therefore not very good. It seems to come from a machine or a pack. The above service for two people all in all for over €100. This was probably the last time we would eat at Villa Tapas.

Tough burger, woody asparagus, mediocre cocktails

Had eigenlijk 1 ster willen geven maar toch 1 meer vanwege de snelle bediening. Ik vond het eten tegenvallen en daardoor het restaurant ook te prijzig. Je kunt er wel rustig zitten, geen tetterende luidsprekers. 1,5 dag later buikgriep gekregen. Ik denk dat het personeel zn handen niet allemaal wast na toiletbezoek. Ik let er zelf altijd op dat ik na handen wassen geen kraan of deurklink meer vastpak. Dus moet het van het bestek, borden of misschien het eten zelf zijn geweest. Niet voor herhaling vatbaar....

The decoration and location of this restaurant is very nice. We had made a reservation, but despite that we still had to wait 10-15 minutes because there was not one table empty yet. The wait for the drinks was very long. But the food, on the other hand, was very fast. There was a difference in the dishes compared to the photos and the same dish could taste completely different in the next round. The service was fine, not extremely hospitable but not inadequate either.

After an afternoon of shopping we thought we would have a nice meal somewhere. Villa Tapas looks very nice and cozy from the outside and inside. So order food with anticipation, because we are familiar with tapas, since we regularly visit Spain. What a disappointment with this food! Tasteless, lukewarm and/or cold. The layout and dishes are far from what tapas should taste like. Fresh? No, just like it came from a warming container. This was once but never again. Too bad, because the location and decor are beautiful!

Not very traditional quality someone would expect from a tapas restaurant. And the cost was very high. Meat was not so fresh. Even patatas bravas were the worst I ever had. My stomach was a bit disgusted after dinner. Service personnel was fantastic and of high level.

Plenty of choice in meat and fish dishes. But also pizza, pasta and salads. You pay for any dessert separately. The food varies in quality. Maybe it's because of the crowds? For example, sometimes the chicken is fine and other times very dry. Suitable for all ages. Please reserve in advance. The restaurant looks attractive, but not all places are pleasant to sit.

Nice experience at Villa tapas Assen! The restaurant has a beautiful building and the atmosphere is cozy and inviting.
