Waited a very long time for your pizza and it was delivered cold

What a terrible experience. I had to wait almost two hours for my order. When I called the store, I was even met with a rude employee. The pizza that was finally delivered was cold, limp, and not at all what you'd expect. This was the last time I ordered from here. Absolutely not recommended.

No food, no message (call), but unprofessional staff! After waiting an hour, we called them to ask how our order was. And then someone answered the phone, laughing, and told us the order still needed to be made!

It was not delivered, I am still waiting for 2 hours, the list says delivered and that's total nonsense, they don't answer the phone, this is a total joke

Delivery is a nightmare. I've tried it several times now. It usually takes at least an hour and a half, and be prepared for a cold pizza.

What a disappointment! 😔 I've always ordered from you, and now it's taking so long that I called you. You said one pizza was suddenly missing and that it's now in the oven and that it would be delivered as soon as possible. Now you're delivering the pizza, and I have two cold pizzas and one warm one, and I'm €45 lighter. And the answer I get is: can you offer a 25% discount on your next order? Sorry, my food is cold, and almost two hours later, I'm just not okay. Last time was really disappointing. You could have figured that out yourselves.

About an hour and a half ago, the website said the pizza had already been delivered. Still no pizza, and they're impossible to reach by phone.

Unfortunately, things don't go wrong once, not twice, but always. The standard experience at this store: You order a pizza. According to the tracker, it will be delivered within an hour. Then, the tracker indicates the pizza has been delivered. When you call, you're told the pizza still needs to be in the oven for over an hour after ordering. Conclusion: The delivery time is a lie to lure you in, the pizza tracker is a lie to string you along, and the delivery almost always takes between 2 and 3 hours. Far too long, of course. And then you finally get your food. Part of your (4-in-1) pizza is undercooked and has the wrong toppings, your extra topping you paid for is missing from the crust, and your bacon bites are uncut. There are plenty of things that could be done better here. But since this has been going on for almost two years, it's clear that this store considers this to be good practice.

Always much later than advertised. Now we have to wait another two hours. This doesn't happen once, not twice, but every time. The pizza tracker is also always wrong. It always jumps to "delivered" while you still have to wait an hour. You'd think this would be resolved after a year, but no. Sometimes the pizzas are fine, but often they're dripping in oil (the box is soaking wet). Unfortunately, this is the last time for us. We were assured that the problems would be resolved this time, but that was just false advertising.

I ordered two pizzas through the app, and it was another disappointment. I waited almost two hours! I paid around €32 for one of the pizzas because I added extra ingredients, and the pizza arrived without them.

On August 20th, I ordered bacon calzone mini bites, which were way too salty because the bacon wasn't evenly distributed across the dough, leaving three slices of bacon stacked on top of each other. I also ordered crispy chicken wings, which were also too salty. Not recommended.

Time and time again (read: the last four times in a row) a disappointment. They choose extra toppings to make their own pizza even more pizza-y. Extra cheese and tomato sauce. Every time, a very expensive pizza, lukewarm pizza, no extra cheese, or simply dried out because the delivery takes a bit longer. People pay a bit more and go to another pizzeria, like Rossini or Italgusto, for example.

Always late even though it says your pizza is finished, the food is often not warm and if you order a thin and crispy one, 9 times out of 10 it is not good

I went with my son and even though it's a takeaway pizzeria, New York offers a large table with benches for those who want to eat in. Very tasty pizza, fast service and a clean place.

Never had such a bad pizza. It was so greasy that the oil had seeped through the bottom of the box. Delivery was quick, though.

The pizza itself is fine, but the delivery is a real disaster. Every time I order from here, the pizza arrives much later than promised. Not once, not twice every time. It almost feels like the delivery time is randomly set. When you're hungry and waiting for food, it's incredibly frustrating. Worst pizzeria in Spijkenisse – absolutely not recommended! I ordered two pizzas through Thuisbezorgd. After waiting for over an hour, I decided to call the pizzeria to ask where my order was. I was told they couldn't find it and that they would call back. Of course, no one called back. After waiting 10 minutes, I called again myself – only to be told they didn't have my order at all. I then went to the restaurant myself to get clarification. It turned out my order was there, but no one had informed me. Fed up with this chaos, I canceled my order. A staff member apologized and admitted that the restaurant was very chaotic. She said I would get my money back within five days. A real nightmare. There are a lot of people working there, but no one has a clear overview. Honestly – I don't recommend this pizzeria to anyone. A waste of time, money, and patience.

After 2.5 hours of waiting still no food. Its marked as 'delivered' but no one rang our door. Person on the phone was not likely not having his/her day. Called 3 times, 2th time no answer, 3th time the phone was dead.

+2 hours waiting for a pizza, 2 times calling to the place to know whats happening, first they say the order its on the way, next call 1h later they say that the pizzas are going to be put into the oven. I have been ordering to this place for more than a year, and every single time they do the same with absolutely no exception. Plus everytime I order and pay for extra toppings, they send a product with even less ingredients that the basic should have. The employees are laughing between them, talking in bad ways to the costumers, but forgeting to prepare a single order for 2h even when you call them. Is a shame how the workers from this store can be so unprofessional and destroy their work. Its sad, because if you to to any other New York Pizza around the area, you will find excelent people and service. My recommendation, if you are hungry and dont want to end up angry, choose any other option before this one.

I sometimes pick up pizzas from here for the family. Sometimes they're a bit better, sometimes a bit less spectacular, but they've never been bad. Takeout is always a great experience.

Made a mistake with the pizza, it can happen, then I call, a new pizza is delivered. After an hour I call, still no pizza. Pizza would be out of the door. After fifteen minutes I call again. The employee says yes sorry we are closed we will make a voucher. And when I then mention that I find it very strange that they said an hour ago that they would make the pizza and that this is already the second mistake, he also starts arguing with me. I always order here, they make the pizzas super tasty but the service could be better. Hopefully the voucher is just saved with them as promised because you don't get that in black and white either.

Unfortunately after eating the mushroom pizza I threw everything out, completely nauseous, stomach ache and sick in bed so not happy with the delivered pizza and now really don't order anything from you anymore. Don't dare eat them anymore.

Ordered online...sometimes do this with my friend in Hendrik ido craft....why is a pizza cheaper at craft than yours??? is there more topping on it....I thought every New York Pizza charges the same rate but in Hendrik my pizza is 1.50 cheaper...have you called 16 times?

Ordered 2 pizzas for delivery at 6:55 PM. Expected delivery time between 7:25 PM - 7:40 PM. Unfortunately, no pizzas yet at 7:55 PM, so I called. Telephone contact was extremely difficult, at 8:11 PM someone finally answered the phone (after the connection was disconnected three times because no one answered) only to be told that the pizzas were not even prepared yet. No one informs you that it is very busy or adjusts the expected delivery time while ordering. Have your order canceled 5 working days before the money is refunded. We'll see. The negative reviews online are therefore not without reason. The first and last time for us, no more New York Pizza.

Ordered at 5:55 PM. I first receive a call at 6:30 PM to say that something is no longer in stock and if I wanted something else. Ordered a pizza at 6:40 PM, was told it would arrive at 7:05 PM. Nothing comes in, so I call 7:05 PM to ask where my pizza is. The lady on the phone indicates that the delivery person has just left, fine. I waited and waited and when it was 7:35 PM I called again because 30 minutes is excessively long. The gentleman on the phone indicated that the pizza was in a bag and that it was now being shipped. I asked if it had gotten cold because it had been in the bag for 30 minutes. He told me no. Pizza arrives, I take a bite and it's really cold. I immediately called to report it and they asked if I had eaten it, I honestly said yes. Then I am told that they can send me nine new ones because one bite has been taken??? I really don't recommend this place. Messy staff who don't want to correct their own mistakes. If I could I would give them 0 stars.

Ordered 3 pizzas at 5.10 pm, Haven't heard anything at 6:15 pm. Called and was told the delivery person was on his way Finally the delivery person came at 6.45 pm with 2 cold pizzas. While I paid for 3. In the meantime I called the business but they could not be reached by phone. The delivery person was supposed to bring the 3rd pizza, but I wanted to call to say that we didn't feel like doing that anymore and that we would rather get our money back. Called again but again not reachable

After 2 hours the order arrives where it has already been stated several times that the order would be delivered an hour ago, and guess what, the order is not complete so it could also be delivered later. While calling I was told to imagine how difficult and how busy they were. For me the worst pizza place I know in terms of service my advice don't get a pizza here! It comes too late (many) discussions with staff that are completely misplaced, the pizza arrives lukewarm and it has already been said several times that the order is not complete and must be delivered afterwards.

Ordered pizza Brooklyn. Received 15 minutes earlier than stated. After opening the box, the topping looked burnt and there was no sign of cheese on the pizza, it was so hard baked. There were holes baked into the bottom. Also smell burnt. Tried 1 bite but really a burnt taste. Called immediately, but I was told on the phone that the pizza did not look burnt when it came out of the oven and therefore what I said could not be true. I indicated that I wanted a new one and not to overbake it. Making and delivering a new one was too much trouble. It was said that the new one would come out just like the pizza I had already had. So in other words it was basically saying: stop whining and eat your pizza. Baking in the oven for less time was not possible. Very strange. Delivering another pizza for the same price was also not possible. In short, very unfriendly and unhelpful. What you pay is not delivered and they do not think about a solution, that is too much effort and that is even said to you literally and unfriendly. Therefore 1 star. Because this is not how you should treat your customers. See photo of the 2 differences, the photo of the entire pizza is the burnt pizza. The pizza in the photo that is already half finished is the new pizza. Very different difference. Both taste and smell completely different. The burnt tasted and smelled burnt. The new one tasted and smelled better than the first and not burnt. There was definitely something wrong with the 1st. And then you are treated like this and dismissed as a liar. I have no words for it.

Worst New York restaurant ever. Only young people working there who don't know anything about running a restaurant. After waiting 1 and a half hours for an order, they couldn't even tell me what time the food will be ready after calling, even though the food was already on its way in the app. After the long wait, I picked up my money there and drove to Dominos to buy the same order there, which was ready within 20 minutes 👎🏼.

If you have a deal for two pizzas for the price of one, you would expect the restaurant to have enough capacity to both deliver the orders and make the pizzas. It is downright absurd to have to wait more than two hours for your pizza, despite such an offer.

I ordered a pizza tonight and it was delivered (probably due to my mistake) to my parents' house instead of my address. I called to indicate that the pizza had been delivered to the wrong address. The lady on the phone immediately indicated that she could arrange for the pizza to be picked up from my parents' home and brought to my house. Within 10 minutes I received the still warm pizza. Pizza arrived cold. Taste itself was good. But the biggest disappointment were the patato wedges. I received a box that was half empty. Absurd for €4.50. There were maybe 10 pieces in there (and some cast-offs). I can't believe how stingy they were. I called, luckily the operator was understanding. He would send a new box. I got just as little the second time as I did the first time. Never order here again.
