New York Pizza in Wijk 10 Vleuten-De Meern

Got food poisoning after eating their pizza. Spent the night hovering over the toilet. After a few days, I still haven't regained my appetite. I filed a complaint with customer service, but I never heard back. What a terrible place. I'll never go back!

One star is still too much for this place. We had to wait almost three hours for our order, from 5:35 PM to 8:30 PM. Every time we called, we were told our food would be there in 10 minutes. The employee on the phone was also extremely rude and insolent. We received our pizzas, but they were ice cold. They had been ready for a while but simply weren't delivered. Never order from here!!!!!!

After an earlier disappointment with extremely late delivery, I finally gave it another try. This time it was delivered on time, but I had stomach cramps for three days after my pepperoni Brooklyn-style pizza :(

What a qualitatively extremely disappointing company, a whole discussion about having it delivered at 6:30 pm while the gentleman has thrown it in the oven and that he has to throw away pizzas!!!!

In short: I received my order an hour and a half later. Cold and limp. I put the wedges in the air fryer myself because they weren't cooked properly. The pizzas were like eating chips that you had to really pull out of. I don't even want to mention the chicken pieces. They're disgusting.

Having to wait 2 1/2 hours for three pizzas, terrible service and not one once of interest from staff when called. I guess we were not the only ones as we were kept on hold and nr 5 in the line. Don’t order your pizzas from Filiaal Leidsche Rijn.

It was worth the wait 🙂 The order was very late (I understand), but I called three times and the guys picked the phone up, were super friendly, and very attentive. And the girl who brought the order was the same. Thank you very much ☺️ good customer service.

The sauce wasn't delivered, and there was RAW CHICKEN on the pizza, plus the dough was over-risen and stale. The snarky employee on the phone claimed this wasn't possible. See for yourself the proof. Oh yeah, and a refund for the pizza and the sauce wasn't possible? The only thing NYP has to do with New York is that it tastes and looks like you've been fighting the sewer rats who live in New York over leftover garbage pizza. Tip from Flip: get a frozen pizza from the supermarket; you'll be even more satisfied.

Never posted such a quick review before. I'm usually a pretty picky eater, but these pizzas were so awful. The quattro formaggi pizzas were literally cardboard with "cheese." I can't even put into words how bad these pizzas are. My worst enemy doesn't even deserve to eat these pizzas.

First time ordering from New York Pizza. We won't be ordering again. The pizza crust is tough and the pizzas are tasteless.

Bad don't come here got 3 pizzas of 30 cm and it's not even 30 cm, those burnt goods and not even 30 grams of margertia in it very stingy people and apparently also the owner himself that they score 2.5 stars I understand now.

I've had bad pizza every time, just like you're eating cardboard, in the app the pizza has been ready for delivery for an hour and then delivery also takes half an hour. Then pizza from the freezer, at least it tastes better and is warm. Drama this tent

Worthless tent, ordered food last night and just didn't get anything, ordered and paid before closing time but waited 3 hours and didn't receive anything!

The chefs tell each other... easy eaters, those Dutch... they can do all kinds of irregular things. Share the opinion that pizzas are regularly delivered too early. I've always had tasty pizzas, but the last few times there was very little pepperoni (5 pieces) on my Mexican hot & spicy, lumps of cheese in 3 places and none in the rest, a lot of pepper, which made me feel like I was eating a vegetarian pizza. As is often the case, barely cut, but that's the least of the problems. So the quality deteriorates considerably. Very unfortunate.

Ordered on a Friday evening. Arrived very quickly. Very warm. Pepperoni pizza was quite good. Cheesy garlic bread was very good. (cheese wasn’t balanced well the slices. Could have a bit more cheese)

The home delivery order was canceled after an hour of waiting for no reason! There is no money and no food, I don't recommend it

Terrible pizza place. I just ordered a large pizza with extra cheese, there is hardly any cheese on the pizza and whatever cheese is there is dry because it is overcooked. I called them to tell them that they haven’t put extra cheese on my pizza which they replied “ this is how we do extra cheese.” Never buying anything from this place again and would not recommend it to anyone. Spend your money somewhere else.

Manager of New York pizza contacted about an order that was delivered half an hour before the stated time. A time indicated for a reason. The person for whom this order was placed would only arrive around the delivery time specified by New York Pizza itself. The request was to deliver the ordered pizza at the specified time and to take back this delivery (which was half an hour early). Manager did not agree to this. I picked up another one myself, but the manager was very customer unfriendly and very unprofessional in recognizing this situation. Please contact the head office tomorrow. The delivery person was very customer friendly and did his best to help us as customers. In short, I would like to hire a new manager for this branch and say goodbye to the current manager.

Caprese pizza has ended up in the trash. The reason seems clear to me.

Orders arrive late and are still not in order. Ordered multiple times, wrong products or poor quality several times. If they deliver the correct order, it also takes longer than they promise.

Pizza was completely gross. Spoke to customer service and got a credit for it. But when I wanted to use it, I was told that it wasn't there at all. What a bad mess.

Very poor quality. Took two different bottoms, both were not as they should be. The tonno smelled too. The tonno was no longer good

Ordered 2 pizzas on 29-08-2023. Checked the pizzas upon arrival (as New York Pizza often makes mistakes). As I suspected, there was no garlic oil on the edge, so I gave the pizza to the delivery person. He indicated that he would also contact the branch itself. By phone they said they would make a whole new pizza. Also fine. Checked the pizza again upon arrival. It did indeed have garlic oil on it. Just look at the photo... Emptyed half a bottle on it. Pizza was completely soaked. I have often had problems with this location because they do not make a pizza the way you specified it. They don't read properly what you want on the pizza and therefore only make mistakes. And when you call them out on it, they do such childish actions. The photo was taken after I had finished eating, so a large amount of oil has already dried.

Order was completely wrong and the pizzas were inedible.

Always been a satisfied customer until today... today I waited 1 hour 45 minutes. No updates whatsoever and according to the email 'just on time'. And tough, cold pizza too. That it is busy because of Father's Day, but then say so and (temporarily) block the option to order. Unfortunately (at least for the time being) no more New York Pizza for us...

What a bad place, I had to call them twice and both times they hung up on me. I didn't even get a pizza in the end.

Ordered a pizza, called again after an hour and a half. "Yes, sorry, it is very busy because of football, it could take a long time, but I don't know how long" pffffffff After 3 hours the pizzas were delivered. To top it all off cold and with missing ingredients. No more New York Pizza for me. After a while I gave it a second chance. Unfortunately things go wrong again. The same hassle, not knowing exactly when pizza will be delivered. I indicated that I wanted to cancel my order, that was no problem and the money will be refunded. After 2 months still no money back. Not even after asking several times. Not even a response from NYP. SCANDALOUS!

We were also regular customers for years, although they regularly forgot to put ingredients or garlic oil on the rim... But you learn to live with that. However, it is now finished after they delivered the pizza 2.5 hours late (2 weeks ago), without an update or anything. The website cheerfully indicated that it would be "on time". Finally at half past 10 we ate an otherwise excellent pizza. If it is that busy, just close the online orders or indicate it in the web tracker, with a cancel option, then we could have eaten somewhere else on time without any problems.

Terribly bad service. We are regular customers for years. However, it is now really finished. The last few orders have to call where the food stays. While the site indicates that the food is delivered on time. After 1 hour there was still nothing. And then say on the phone that it is busy and that the order still needs to be made. Total waiting time would then be 1.5 hours. After three times of this experience, we're done. Canceled the order on the phone tonight, money back within 5 to 10 days. And order from someone else. And within 25 minutes the food. Sorry you have lost a regular customer.

super bad service. Ordered 7 pizzas, the boxes do not state what is in them. If you accidentally pay too much, you will not get your money back. Not even through a complaint at the head office.

Update for free 2nd pizza because the delivery was half an hour late. Very happy with it! Ordered pizzas, including a 50/50 pepperoni and sweet chicken pizza. We arrived, 4 staff and quite busy, 20 min wait and then wrong pizza (whole pepperoni) Nicely solved by free ice cream, two brownies and free pizzas! Because they solve it so neatly, 5 stars.

It would be a blessing if they left the village again. Nijevelt is a very car-free neighborhood where many children play on the sidewalks. I wait patiently for accidents to happen. Most importantly, the base of these pizzas is made from a blend of salt and sandpaper. Truly disgusting.

Customer unfriendly, pizza base undercooked. Fresh pizza from ah 10x better. You see the delivery people driving their scooter on the sidewalk to avoid waiting at the traffic light, going against traffic on the other side of the traffic island to cut off the road. I think this case can leave De Meern.

Pizza was not doughy enough. One side was very thin and the other side was very thick. Pizza was also square instead of round.

Ordered 6 pizzas on site before 5:30 pm. Would take 15 minutes. Inquiry around 5.50 pm would take another 6 minutes. 5 pizzas were ready and were in the oven for some time. After the last pizza we took everything with us. Received a bag of brownies because it took a while. Pizzas were lukewarm except for the last one.

Since New York has been here, there have been quite a few kamikaze pilots driving around the area. They regularly scooter through red lights, drive against traffic and blast through residential areas at full speed. Not only the scooters, but also the electric bicycles. That's the only reason I don't order here. Come on New York, this can't be possible!?
