New York Pizza in Wijk 06 Binnenstad

Ordered pizza online. Called to ask if they could only put very little cheese on it. Then the pizza was dripping with cheese. I called Nobelstraat Utrecht, and they refused to bring a new pizza and hung up on me. I'm officially filing a complaint with the head office tomorrow. The fact that they're busy isn't my problem.

Unfortunately, they wouldn't sell us a pizza.

The food at New York was decent, but we had to wait a long time for our order, which arrived cold. Service could be better.

You might as well eat a frozen pizza from Appie without heating it up. That's how cold this pizza was. I didn't know iced pizzas were a thing, just like iced coffee. What a mess. Luckily, the staff was friendly... but not really, their behavior was as cold as the pizza itself.

Ordered a pizza for a colleague to eat at work at around 7 pm. Got it almost at 9 pm and the pizza is stone hard cold. We called them 3 times and got a new one, but the peraon who was speaking on the phone was really not friendly at all

How can an NYP establishment display 'Friday night, pizza night' in its window and then be closed for pickup?

I've always ordered delivery, and the service has been good and very fast. I don't recommend going to the restaurant for lunch, but for good pizza delivery, it's great. Good deals and affordable prices.

Today I received a flyer from this branch in my mailbox, reminding me of a €22 order placed in September 2024. Thanks for the reminder! The pizza I ordered was no longer in stock at the time, and my money was supposed to be refunded: fast forward almost a year later – still no refund. The head office and this branch ignore all communication: multiple calls, emails, and social media posts – complete silence. It's unbelievable that this company and its incompetent franchisee have a right to exist.

Don't give a damn about 'no - no' stickers. Keep your advertising at home.

Very bad customer service by forgetting to bring things many times and not caring to cover up for it (besides fake politeness). I have ordered many times from them for many years but they have gotten worse so I won't order from them anymore. One day, I have ordered several products from them including nachos that they forgot. I called them, talked to a guy, he said it was too late to send the nachos because they were closing, but I could include them next time by calling and telling NY Pizza that that specific guy (he gave me his name) had said so. He said that he has written a reminder about this on our client number. The next day, I decided to order again at NY Pizza, in order to get the nachos that they forgot. I ordered and called them to include the nachos but they couldn't do it because the guy that made the note wasn't there and they couldn't make this decision. The nachos costed 9 euros and they couldn't take such a small low-cost decision unless they talked to that specific guy that had the proof which is obviously ridiculus. I strongly don't recommend them not only because they forget things and not care to redeem themselves. They also mass produce/deliver without quality not to mention the extreme prices e.g. 5.5 euros for a tiny portion of potatoes or 5 euros for a 1.5L coke. If its about pizza there are many original italian small pizzarias that love what they do and care about quality and its not a big conglomerate like NYP so I recommend to order from these to boost also the small business owners.

Really terrible service. Missing a pizza from my order. Fine, that can happen. Phone and told it will be 20 minutes. Nothing after an hour. Call and told it will be any minute. Another half hour, still nothing. The original pizza itself was very average and not very warm upon arrival. Judging by the other reviews, this place needs to sort itself out. Will definitely not be using it again.

I've been trying for almost two months to get a refund for an online order that I cancelled immediately over the phone (yes, we simply changed our minds, it happens). Since then, there have been over 20 emails exchanged with their customer service, and they keep gaslighting me into believing that the specific franchise needs to contact me and resolve the issue. I've never experienced such poor business practices. Zero stars.

Emailed back and forth 40 times about a double payment, head office sends it to the franchisee, who sends it back to the head office... I just want my €30 back!

I needed pizzas for a group event of 25 people. In a somewhat difficult location. I had ordered by telephone well in advance. They thought along well. And they were exactly on time. Everything was hot, and they called ahead to say they were coming. Which saved me stress as an organizer. it was important that the food actually came during our break. That went very well. And they were also bizarrely delicious pizzas. To be honest, I thought that with such a large chain it might be disappointing, but I wanted to make sure they could handle the order. Now GLOWING! THANK YOU SO MUCH!

Let's start at the beginning... We ordered a pizza, actually not one but 10 worth 180 euros!!! Including one protein pizza. This pizza was sooo gross, gets it. He tasted like old dirt and shit. We thought something was wrong, we called and as soon as we spoke to the manager and had our say, the 'manager' just hung up without saying bye or anything. What kind of role model is that? What a stupid thing and dominos is definitely tastier and better and more fun! Pizza is now ruined for the rest of our lives 😞!!!

Pizza only arrived 45 minutes after it was supposed to be delivered. The condition the pizza arrived in was laughable. They just threw some sticks of basil on it 🤣🤣 And it's a shame because sometimes the pizzas are really tasty. But more often than not it's pretty bad. They also forgot all the extra ingredients and then they were confident on the phone that they had added them (you really can't see any hot honey drizzle on the pizza in the photo. And the other one really didn't have any extra cheese on it, there was hardly any cheese on it at all). Because of course nothing can be their fault. They also forgot the bottle of coca cola. Then they brought a regular bottle of Coca Cola instead of Coke Zero (might be my mistake, but I thought I was really sure that I had ordered Zero and double-checked because of the price of the bottle). In short, even if you buy at a discount, this tent is actually not worth it. It's better to spend your money somewhere else where they can always deliver the same quality.

DO NOT ORDER - FOOD WILL NOT ARRIVE. Ordered around 19:08 expecting the indicated 25-30min delivery time. Started calling them 20:43 because no pizza was delivered and the thuisbezorgd app didn’t show any progress. No answer on the phone after numerous attempts. 21:08 the app suddenly switched to ‘order delivered at 19:38’ - which is not true. Feels very much like. Scam. It’s now 21:40 and still no pizza. Leaving negative reviews to spare others the same and requesting a refund.

We ordered at 7:00 PM. Called an hour later to ask where our order was, and was told it would be delivered in 20 minutes. Tried calling several times with no answer. We finally received our pizzas at 9:30 PM which were cold and hard.

Ordered a pizza and it was never delivered. Called after an hour and was told the pizza was on its way. Well that wasn't true. They lied about that. There was no pizza. And then I tried to call them 10 times and they didn't answer the phone all evening. Or they picked up and hung up the phone. My money gone. No dinner. I feel very cheated.

These think they're funny. Last month express non-delivery instructions followed not 1 but THREE times in a row. I was standing in front of the door and that boy saw me and quickly rang the doorbell while he was still on his bike. He thinks is funny with his smile Today I tried last time and still nothing good! 2 of my half pizzas are wrong and the other half forgot toppings!? Yes, never here again.

It's a shame that this company chooses to flout the rules. 3 advertising brochures in a week with clear no-no stickers. Very unfortunate

A wrong order can always happen, but if the delivery person arrives so late for the replacement pizza that the pizza is cold, I would still like compensation. With this tent the compensation is apparently 15% discount on the next order, I thank you for that.

I ordered a promotional pizza with my savings points and a Ben and Jerry of 100 ml. I accidentally got the wrong Ben and Jerry flavor. Then the delivery man said he would exchange it and I even got a large Ben and Jerry afterwards, just in time before I had to go to my night shift! Thank you ❤️, the pizza was delicious too!

Shawarma pizza came without garlic sauce, after calling they offered to bring loose garlic sauce immediately. However, this took longer than half an hour, by which time we had almost finished the pizza. In the meantime we also called to get a new pizza, since sauce on a cold pizza is still not what we paid for. According to the girl on the phone, this was not possible, only a small discount for a next order. Then the person delivering the sauce at the door also asked to see the pizza to verify whether there was actually no sauce on it. Very stingy affair.

Ordered a pizza, the pizza was hard as dry and barely had any topping. The delivery person waited downstairs without saying anything (apartment building). Opened the door for him 3 times, he didn't speak English or Dutch, music in his ears while I tried my best to communicate with him, he had no manners and put the pizza boxes on the floor while he took it out of the bag, very unhygienic . I don't understand how you can have someone like that delivered or even hire someone!! Stomach of eating. That was the last time.

Just refused to order take away at 10:15 PM even though they close at 10:30 PM according to the website. They said they stopped taking orders after 10pm. Once home I ordered via home delivery and apparently that was possible. Very weird. I understand that if your workbench is clean you don't want to help a late customer anymore, but they were still busy rolling pizzas. Too bad, I like to order here

Ordered a bunch of stuff including the kids meal for my son, the website showed a Skylanders but all he got was some girly stickers…he’s sad, I think this is very scummy marketing and the food wasn’t even good enough to make up for it…

I ordered a caprese pizza today. After opening the pizza box I saw that there was no pesto sauce on the pizza, but only cheese and tomatoes. After calling, I was told that the pesto sauce had run out..... unfortunately this is not the 1st time this has happened to me after ordering the caprese pizza in this branch. So it feels a bit like Russian roulette whether your order is delivered complete. As a compensation, I was offered a 15% discount on my next order, but given my dissatisfaction, that is not of much use to me.

Delivery person at the door drops flyers without picking them up. If you say anything about it, you are a 'cancer mongoloid'. If you accept these types of figures, the rest of the tent will not be in good shape either.

I called this branch because the branch near me was closed due to crowds. I was contacted and told that they could not deliver to me (obviously no problem). When I asked if I could pick up the pizza, I was told that they do not have takeaway, even though it is stated on their website and they advertise this. This man immediately became angry and wanted to hang up on me in the middle of the conversation. Instead of speaking to me properly, I was only told, shouting, that I was not allowed to pick up and that they did not want to and would not deliver. Ultimately, they just hung up. Shame about this staff.

New York Pizza Utrecht Noblestraat delivered a burnt picture on Saturday. Manager said this how they serve their pizza, which is not true. He obviously does not care about the quality of the product nor the customer. Attached are images of the pizza versus the one I had to order because I could not eat what New York Pizza had delivered. If you compare it to the Domino pizza you can see what I am talking about.

Ordered delivery. Never got the order although we were exact in where to deliver the pizza. When I called to inquire the person was extremely rude and told me that my address was wrong, although I told him exactly where to meet me. He accused me of lying and then asked me why I ordered a pizza in the first place. I never write reviews, but this was the worst experience I have ever had. I never got the pizza and he refused to cancel the order.

Absolutely positive! Don't read extremely good things online, but within 18 minutes the pizza was really fresh out of the oven and perfect at our home. So look a little further than what the reviews say, 100% satisfied and will definitely order again next time!

I placed an order, the delivery boy did not knock on the door but called my cellphone instead, i couldn´t picked it up so i called him back, no answer. I opened the door and there is nobody on the street. I called right away the restaurant and they said that nothing can be done and that they will NOT give my money back (26€). I do not recommend ordering pizza here. You might end up hungry and with less money.

Had to pay twice because the first order 'didn't go through', so according to the employees I had to order again and would get the money back for the first order. However, I never received that money, after months of emailing and calling.

Meanwhile, I ordered pizza over a month ago. After waiting an hour, I called the branch to see if everything had gone well with the order - I was told that my order had been cancelled. I'm glad I was also informed about this! When I asked how I would get my money back, they abruptly hung up. Called back immediately of course. After a lot of pain and effort I was told to send an email to the NY pizza customer service. 5 weeks later I am writing this review, having been sent from pillar to post via email with customer service, and still no refund. Really scandalous.

We ordered 2 pizzas at 7:30 PM, the expected delivery time according to staff was 1 hour due to crowds. After waiting 1 hour we called again and they told us it would take another 1 hour. This has happened to us more than once and we will not order here again...

Ordered online and the pizzas were delivered quite fast. Overall the taste was very decent, except the Tuna pizza was a bit dry.

My order was send by the new york webpage to this ny pizza location. This place just decided to cancel my order claiming that the money would be refunded. Weeks later i had still no refund. Then i decided to contact the main office of new york pizza and they told me the owner should refund me and that they mailed my complain to the owner about 3 times. However this person seems to not have time to run his/her store. My order was placed in on 18 december 2022!! And still no refund! Do not ever order from this place!

Pizza was late, not warm and dried out. Tasted as if the pizza had been ready all day and was quickly thrown into the microwave at the last minute. Apparently that doesn't even make sense since the delivery person also takes a lot of time and the pizza is then almost below zero. In short, a convergence of dramatic works. pizza was to die for.

Worst pizza ever eaten. Tonight I ordered the 5 cheese pizza from this Domino's pizza. Instead of 5 different cheeses, there are 5 very scant pieces of cheese on the pizza. It's outrageous to charge 18 euros for this pizza.

Pizza arrived cold. Although I can understand this to a certain extent if you have it delivered. But my cinnamon bread was not yet cooked on the inside. When I called the option was a new one, of course I'm not looking forward to this at all if I just had a bite of raw dough in my mouth. Money back was not an option. Walked in here quietly to pick up a pizza. Unfortunately, I was waved away negatively and uninterested by the employees. I just went to Domino's. After calling another branch, it turned out that they did not have the permit in order for collection?

Tasty pizzas and the lasagna is also delicious. We order regularly and delivery is always very fast and everything is wonderfully warm.

After insisting, I get the money back into my account instead of into my account. Well thanks, I think that's the least you can do. No more New York pizza for me. Dear all, Do not order here. Because apparently they don't communicate. I called and was told that I had accidentally added the wrong addition to my address. Okay understandable. But they don't even call if they can find it. Waited 60 minutes for nothing and all I was told was that it was my own fault. Then give us a call. Gvd! How much effort is that?

Dramatic. Pizza is only delivered after hours. In the meantime, the company is inaccessible in every possible way. Phone is not answered or you are pushed away. Complaints will not be processed. Tip: don't order here.

If you want a good crust with little toppings, this is the place for you! Even if you order the pizza that is known from TV (snackmasters). Even if you do that twice. In other words: the promise does not correspond at all to the actual product (scanty and incorrectly invested). Any after-sales service (where you provide internal feedback) is also 'just for the show', because customer service never contacts you, even though they are promised.

The bezzorger just come in hotel and he was thinking it's his hotel ,he go everywhere where peoples lives and btw (They don't know how to read the details from order 😉) ...I refuse the pizza but I had go to that restaurant,spend my time for an explication why the drivers enter in hotel while in receipt was clearly say :Don't enter in HOTEL! They clearly say to me that I will no have refund ..
