New York Pizza in Nieuw-Vennep

On July 29th, I placed a €50 order with New York Pizza. The order was riddled with complaints. After several emails and weeks of waiting, I received nothing but empty promises ("we'll forward it to the franchisee" and "we'll follow up"), but no solution or refund whatsoever. Ultimately, they only offered one free pizza, which is completely disproportionate to the bad experience. To this day, I still haven't received a refund. Poor service, no serious complaint handling. I'll never use New York Pizza again.

The first time we ordered pizza, we got chicken pieces on the vegetarian pizza and fish on the pepperoni pizza. This gave us a discount code for our next order. We tried again tonight. The order was 35 minutes late, and the discount code had to be removed at the door by the manager because she couldn't understand it over the phone. When we finally opened the boxes, we saw that the "calzone mini bites" were a lump of dough (impossible to share) and the potato wedges were €5.95... I'll let the photo do the talking. Next time, we'll drive to Lisse or Heemstede.

I ordered a pizza, lasagna, and nacho chicken. There's not much to say about the lasagna and pizza; they were all good! Only the nachos were rather disappointing. The description says they come with jalapeños, spring onions, and chili sauce. I didn't see any of those on my nachos. I honestly think there were only three pieces of chicken, and the cheese was pretty sparse. I added extra cheese and sauce because otherwise it would have been very dry.

I see on NYP's own website that, unfortunately, there are Halal dishes on the menu, which is a serious objection for me, and I'm certainly very convinced of that. Until I saw this recently, I was a satisfied NYP customer in Nieuw-Vennep with regard to quality and service. Now that I know this, my NYP story ends here for me.

Pizza with few toppings and almost no tomato sauce. Waste of your money

The pizza was not delivered. They claimed that no one answered the door. I have ordered hundreds of times and the pizza has arrived. This time they could not deliver.

Could have better oil too much tomatoes too much

Unfortunately, there's no garlic oil on the rim again. Following the recipe doesn't seem too difficult to me.

I really won't order here anymore. Pizza only tastes like tomato puree I live just 2 minutes away and still get a cold pizza because there is a nice chat on the square before they deliver it. Domino's is much better

Ordered a pizza as a regular customer and there was almost no topping on it. This happens so often and people say that they can't do anything about it and that I won't get a refund or new pizza.

Had thin & crispy, was just a thick, white, undercooked base. And still cold.

Pizza ordered via the app for delivery in Hillegom, Nieuw-Vennep was automatically indicated by the app as the nearest New York pizza. I couldn't change this either. After ordering and paying, I received a call from the branch. It was stated that they could not guarantee that the order would arrive warm. Of course it's strange that the location of Nieuw-Vennep automatically came up and that I couldn't change this, but so far excellent service from the pizzeria. I indicated that I wanted to cancel the order and that I would like to receive confirmation of the cancellation by email, since I had already paid. I have not received this confirmation, nor (after 11 days!) the refund. I contacted you about this a few days ago. I was told the refund would be made within a few days. I indicated that I would still like confirmation of the cancellation. The young man I spoke to on the phone would send me an email to confirm. He sent an email, but this turned out to be the confirmation of the order, which I received 11 days ago. In short, I am not listened to properly and the customer is not treated properly. In the meantime I am still awaiting the refund.

I have tried to order the thin & cripsy base several times, but every time I get a thick American style base. I give up

Waited 2 hours for 3 cold pizzas & sides… After waiting 1.5 hours I called and the young man indicated that the delivery person was on his way. What was a 10-minute drive turned out to take another 30 minutes. As a result, I called NY Pizza again and the lady on the phone indicated either the order again or store credit. I opted for a new order and you would think that it would be better prepared/warm as in the advertising, but this was not the case. Chapeau to the sympathetic lady who also honestly said that it was super busy, and I must say that the products are normally really good and hot. Too bad it wasn't the case now, but everyone deserves a second chance!

I ordered at about 5:30 PM and asked for my order to arrive at 7:00 PM. But it arrived at 7:30 PM. The pizza was cold. He arrived half an hour late and was cold.

I had a very bad experience, I waited a lot, and there were quite a few employees there, but apparently no one wanted to start with my order. I'll never come back to you again!

Never had such bad pizzas before. Dry and minimal toppings, more than half of the toppings were missing, etc And also way too expensive See also the other reviews. Maybe New York management should train their staff a little better!! Next time I will order my pizza from Hoofddorp to Nieuw-Vennep, they are good there 👍 I hope that New York management will take a look at this and train their staff better. How hard must it be to make a good pizza?

I am a regular customer of NYP Overbos in Hoofddorp. Was with a friend and ordered the Brooklyn style pizza. What a difference in quality compared to that in Hoofddorp! Almost no cheese and only a few salami slices. Warped and bone dry. What a deception. Waste of money.

Unfortunately, the quality of New York Pizza Nieuw Vennep has deteriorated. Used to enjoy New York Pizza a lot but the taste has changed. Pizza is very dry and the taste of the sauce has taken on a slight soapy taste. Don't order here again so quickly. Maybe try again in a year when something has been updated. See you New York pizza in a year.

Last Thursday I got sick food poisoning from eating one of your pizzas. Only now, after more than 1 (!) week, am I feeling a little better again. I also immediately filed a complaint about this, but still no response, really incomprehensible. Then go this way!

To be so honest, clear. It wasn't like I had been poisoned. I had pain in my stomach and could no longer walk upright. People don't order here!

I have always been a customer of NYP, but I think the fact that you pay €3.50 for 15 burnt fries is really bad, very little.

Ordered a Brooklyn style pizza tonight. Only the pizza was inedible. Much of it was very well done, no nice garlic edge and it simply had no taste. Unfortunately, the previous times it tasted better by far. Maybe put a little more love into the pizzas. No next time for us.

Received pepperoni pizza 3 times with burnt pepperoni. Reported the 3rd time and received a new one. Have now received a 4th with burnt pepperoni. According to New York Pizza this is normal. We have never seen this before at branches in Hoofddorp, Beverwijk and Haarlem. Unfortunately, this is the last time at this location.

Always a problem with my food via home delivery. Either I have to wait more than an hour, or I get the wrong product or they forget parts of my order. So incompetent

Pizza ordered via site stated 7:45/8:00 PM at 8:10 PM was stated on site then only in the oven had indicated that I wanted it asap after some time nothing yet

Order there regularly. I just walked by and there's a boy pushing the garbage into the same bin they put your food in! Haha I say that's not possible, the boy says yes, you're right, but I'm just doing my job. He's right, but New York owner, shame on you!

Good and tasty pizza picked up. Unfortunately they can't cut pizza. You still have to cut the pieces yourself, even if it looks pre-cut and the dough is still together. The first time we thought, well, it can happen, but again the same with other orders, so either their knife is dull or they need to teach their staff how to use the kitchen utensils. This is not convenient food!

Terrible tent. The service was antisocial, we wanted to get a B&J ice cream at 9.50 pm and they said go and cycle for a while. Unbelievable. Literal !!! Not recommended.

Received a cold pizza without the dessert I had ordered. The reason was that they didn't have enough delivery people and the pizza had been ready for half an hour? How ? No wonder the pizza was cold. 35 euros just go in the trash. Bad customer service

Mijn dochter is daar vaste klant:) De pizza's zijn heerlijk...Ze vertelt altijd hoe ze haar pizza wil hebben en jahoor..precies op die manier krijgt ze ook..De personeel is heel klantvriendelijk!

Wat een zooitje maken ze er van! Na ruim een uur van de bestelling gaat eindelijk de deurbel. En dan zelfs de 2e pizza niet mee nemen. Hoe moeilijk kan het zijn??

Hoi 😡ik vindt dat er best wel meer jalapeño op de Mexican hot and Spicy pizza mag ik heb met lange tanden zitten eten. Jammer hoor had hot verwacht maar jullie zijn heel zuinig niet leuk ik ben teleurgesteld in die M.H.S pizza 😭😢

Vandaag pizza's besteld bij de New York. Bestelling klopte niet helemaal en 1 van de Ben en Jerry ijs was over de datum. Na telefonisch mijn beklag te hebben gedaan kreeg ik een nieuwe pizza en een andere Ben en Jerry met de juiste datum. Thuis gezorgd . Ik zeg tot de volgende keer. Zeer goede klanten behandeling

Excellent pizzas (adore Tandoori and Buffalo Chicken) and garlic bread is out this world. Very friendly people working, positive atmosphere and fast service. They also tend to have nice actions from time to time. I had once an issue with order (it was electricity failure so not really NYP's fault) and they gave me VIP card - just perfect. Place is clean and I highly recommended it - some of the best pizzas I ever tried come from this place.
