I haven't had such a delicious omelet in a long time; it was truly delightful. The menu has a very wide variety of options, and the staff are very kind and polite. I also recommend their fresh fruit juices; a touch of ginger in them makes your day in Amsterdam so much easier.

Was here with a Dutch friend of mine on the morning of Sunday the 28th of December. I was glad she took there for breakfast. The walk from Stadionplein to de Pijp was worth it. One of the most pleasant Sunday breakfasts I’ve had in a very long time. Highly-recommended!! I had the scrambled eggs with feta cheese and tomatoes, along with an orange juice. Simply divine. Massive shoutout to the Polish 🇵🇱 girl with whom we settled the bill. She was super friendly and attentive to Liv & I.

I had the Greek wedding omelette (filled with feta cheese, onions and olives) and like everything I ate during my weekend in Amsterdam it was delicious! I was trying to be good and thought I would just ‘try’ the bread and butter but I fell in love with that too 😩

We just ate at this delicious little place this morning. The eggs are amazing!! The staff is truly hospitable and the atmosphere is pleasant. The only downside, in my opinion, is the prices are a bit high. Two plates of scrambled eggs, with avocado, cream cheese, and bacon, and two juices, €51 (plus tip).

We came as a family and liked it; there are different options, the service is fast, and the products are clean and of good quality.

We didn't have to wait for a table, perhaps because it was a weekday. We ordered shakshuka, grilled potatoes, and a pesto spinach omelet. They were all delicious, and the staff was very friendly. Thank you!

There are mornings when the Amsterdam light seems gentler, and accompanies you through the streets of De Pijp like an old friend. That's how we arrived at Omelegg, a little nest where we decided to have breakfast. The warm walls tell stories, the soft buzz of the tables seems like an invitation to slow down, and the smell of freshly cooked eggs envelops you like a hidden embrace. We chose a plate of eggs with croissants, avocado, and salmon. The eggs were soft like clouds that had decided to descend a little closer to the earth. Every bite was a new memory, every flavor a "stay here a little longer." The croissant, golden and flaky, opened between our fingers like a buttery flower, leaving little happy crumbs that danced on the table. Then the salmon, pink like a caress from the North, and the avocado, green and velvety like the promise of spring. Together they looked like a painting: balanced, delicate, perfect without trying to be. And while the city outside rushed by, we were there, suspended between a sip, a bite, and a smile, with that feeling that life, in the end, is made of moments so simple but so full. Omelegg is not a breakfast. It's a morning poem, written with eggs, warm bread and a pinch of Dutch magic.🌷

Highly recommended if it's a good, simple egg breakfast you're looking for. I'm a local and went for brunch with Bickel (the dog), me suffering a serious hangover from the night before. I had the simple but delicious Gouda kaas en bacon omelette with a large, thick slice of buttered rye, washed down with big glass of freshly squeezed OJ. Perfect! The waitstaff are amazing: super friendly, fast, efficient, and my yummy omelette arrived in no time. ... the coffee is good, so no-one got hurt. Dankjewel, guys!

We ordered a latte, a hot chocolate, and an herbal tea with a croissant—everything was delicious, and the service was good too! It's not very cheap compared to other places, but it's worth stopping by!

I went to the comments praising it, but nothing was good at all!!!! No coffee, no eggs, nothing! And on top of that, you smell like eggs 🍳 I'm never going back. I got up and didn't even eat my food.

To us this was the perfect breakfast during a shorter stay in Amsterdam. Delicious omeletts with a lot of cheese and other topping. Highly recommended. Nice place but the atmosphere is a bit on the efficient side rather than very cosy. If you are looking for a place to sit and talk for hours over lukewarm coffee there are possibly other, more romantic, places but for eating breakfast this is as good as it gets.

Food - lovely omelletes cooked well. Service - friendly service but our order was slightly incorrect. Atmosphere - a bit of a frantic atmosphere which was not wholly necessary as it wasn't overly busy. They have a table at the back which is large and great for bigger groups.

Loved this place! Great atmosphere and a nice variety of options. Just one small thing: we ordered a croissant with Nutella and expected the croissant to be filled with nutella, but it came with a small bottle of Nutella on the side instead. 😅

If you’re looking for a best omelette spot in town then you’ve reached it, I liked the verity of the dishes, the staff are super cool, the place it self is nice and well equipped with seatings and a nice restroom. We tried their royal omelette and the veggie order, also the fresh juices is a must.

Always so great to get back to Omelegg 🥚 Huge portions, nice vibe, and super flexible — you can go for any ingredients you like. My favourite is the Salmon Deluxe 🐟 with avocado, spinach & truffle cheese, just perfect combo. Love their cosy countryside vibe inside — with chickens, hay, and other rustic details. They also have a weekly special ingredient, so it’s worth checking regularly 👌

I happened to find this cafe while walking from the hotel, and it was a great choice. The omelet was delicious, as were the ham, cheese, and bread! The jam was served in cute little jars, which was nice. The flowers on the terrace were also lovely.

Overall, the experience was good and the food was enjoyable. However, we noticed that they placed the receipt directly on the plate on top of the bread until the waiter came to collect it. That didn’t feel very hygienic, and since receipt paper can contain chemicals, it might not be the best idea to place it near food.

The flavor and presentation are excellent. You may have to wait a bit, but it's worth it.

This little gem surprised me in the most positive way. It’s not the most aesthetic or popular place so I didn’t have high hopes but my word was the food and service amazing. I ordered the Big Ben breakfast and it was 10/10, fluffy eggs, amazing sausage and loved the bread aswell. I also ordered their Peach Bellini and it was also just as good. The staff was also so friendly and welcoming and the prices are fairly reasonable too. 10/10 I will be coming back as a regular.

I just landed in Amsterdam in the morning, then took the train to city center and walked in the city, passed by this restaurant at around 8:30 am saw many ppl queuing there and the food looked awesome then I just queued there as well. The eggs are nice taste and smells good. The service is nice too, friendly and easy to understand. They all can speak English I guess. Inside is a bit noisy, ppl are talking and laughing, but that’s life I love it.

Perfectly cooked omelettes. Not very cheap but the amount of ingredients you get inside makes them worth it. I had a Capri Sun (special) and my partner Pastrami Avocado and both were very delicious. We both had a latte with it and it was very good quality coffee as well. Very pleasant service too.

I rarely write reviews, but I feel I have to this time. I was there last Sunday and of the waitresses was extremely rude. When we ordered an additional item for the table, she seemed very bothered by it and reacted in an almost aggressive way. It left us feeling very uncomfortable.

Truly the best experience I have ever had in a long time. The food we ordered as a family were as great as one could possibly have because of the freshness, healthiness and being perfectly cooked to satisfy one as it serves to be a full breakfast meal. Additionally, the restaurant itself was very clean and nicely decorated to fit the atmosphere and the staff were very polite and friendly to all of us who came as a family. The food is nothing special, but the name says that they make eggs in many shapes, so it is popular with Gulf people, and it is usually crowded.

The breakfast restaurant offered quick service, and the scrambled eggs were absolutely delicious. However, the shakshuka was quite dry, the bread portions were insufficient, and the croissant was also dry. Good for a quick bite, but some dishes need improvement.

I found a favorite omelet restaurant in Amsterdam! I had a plain omelet with adding some ham, mozzarella, onions, mushrooms, and bell peppers. It was so great I made my own style haha staff are so gentle and charming:)

we opten for the big Ben, which is essentially a full English breakfast. absolutely beautiful. did have to wait a while for the food due to the volume of people waiting when we arrived. well worth the wait & lovely service.

Unpretentious with a couple of bistro tables outside, booths and table inside. They serve a variety of omelettes and add-ons or sides like bacon & sausage with nice, fresh bread on the side and wonderfully refreshing, fresh orange juice. A roaring twenties soundtrack is charming.

This was egg-cellent! Such amazing food, the flavour, the portion size, the different variations of what you can get. The service is also great and friendly. No wonder this place has such a high rating. I would say this is a MUST visit when you are in Amsterdam if you are a fan of a good omelette breakfast. It took us over 30 mins to get here from our hotel and it was well worth it.
