Unpretentious with a couple of bistro tables outside, booths and table inside. They serve a variety of omelettes and add-ons or sides like bacon & sausage with nice, fresh bread on the side and wonderfully refreshing, fresh orange juice. A roaring twenties soundtrack is charming.

A great destination for brunch (omelettes, eggs made to order) with local flavors, traditional foods added in!

It's an ordinary breakfast, but served by great people and in the right atmosphere of the place, it makes you feel like the main character in a movie. Delicious!

This was egg-cellent! Such amazing food, the flavour, the portion size, the different variations of what you can get. The service is also great and friendly. No wonder this place has such a high rating. I would say this is a MUST visit when you are in Amsterdam if you are a fan of a good omelette breakfast. It took us over 30 mins to get here from our hotel and it was well worth it.

A lovely place with great staff and delicious food! The portion sizes are generous and satisfying. I mentioned to the waiter that I’m pregnant and asked for my omelet to be well-cooked. The chef responded immediately and thoughtfully informed me that the cheese originally included wasn’t pasteurized. He recommended a safe alternative, which I really appreciated! I ended up with a very tasty, big omelet and felt well taken care of. I would definitely recommend this place!

The eggs are really nice and even better the expected, though the bread is average but overall well.

Wow, this place was so good we had to go back and try more omelettes. Such nice workers, such quick service and delicious food. Was so nice to watch the food be made fresh with the open kitchen. Couldn’t recommend this place more if you’re searching for some of the best omelettes!

A very good experience, fresh, quality products, generous portions at a reasonable price. I would definitely return, but as an area for improvement, they only have cow's milk; it would be nice if they had at least lactose-free milk.

Can’t believe how quickly the service is in this restaurant! Took our order and within 2 mins we had our drinks and within 5 we had our food! Perfect brunch! Nice and hot and really friendly staff! Was the perfect last meal for our Amsterdam trip! ❤️🇳🇱

We had 3 good breakfasts in a row at Omelegg. The omelettes are very good, the cappuccinos a little less. For me who am celiac they also have gluten-free bread, which you pay for separately. Nice atmosphere, service a little slow but nothing too serious.

Great place for an all-day breakfast / brunch, with a buzzy atmosphere. No laptops allowed! Coeliac friendly with gluten free bread and attentive cook staff. Highly recommend.

Our favorite place to eat during the holidays. The omelets are very generous, delicious, and very reasonably priced. I recommend the classic ham and cheese omelet if you're not feeling hungry, and the pulled chicken omelet with BBQ sauce and peppers if you're really hungry.

We went to this place today for lunch, after seeing it yesterday in passing. The food is great, and the guys are very kind especially the Italian girl who served us. Just the espresso...to be avoided!

Very disappointing experience. We were really looking forward to trying Omelegg, but the service was terrible. People who arrived after us were served first, and we had to wait way too long just to place our order. The staff seemed disorganized and inattentive — they didn’t even hear us when we tried to speak to them. On top of that, the omelette wasn’t even that good for the price. Definitely not worth the hype. We won’t be coming back.

The food was great. But one young waitress was rude without any smile on her face! I ordered a hot ginger tea. She said that there was no free refill of hot water. I would have to pay for another tea! Oh come on! Really? I just wanted to refill with hot water! Never had a restaurant that charges refills of hot water 🙄👎

Atypical place where you can see the chef preparing the omelettes at the counter. The omelettes offered are varied and plentiful. You can eat sweet or savory or both. The fruit juices offered are freshly squeezed. (Little extra for apple juice)

The Shakshuka was really bad 😔 it was very dry and didn’t taste the tomato sauce, only few cherry tomatoes and it was burn on the bottom. Wasn’t worth the price I paid for it, I paid 17,5€ Cappuccino was delicious tho and my friend liked his Omelette.

BBQ Source & Dirty Dutch are both delicious, but the bread is cold. Ordering two drinks for dinner is just right for me.

I went around 12 o'clock. Enough space in a cozy interior. There is also a small terrace in front of the door. Very friendly staff who are happy to answer questions from customers about the menu. I took the Dirty Dutch and it was very tasty. Didn't have to wait long and you can see the chef at work. Nice warm and fluffy scrambled eggs. Crispy bacon and nicely spiced chicken. I definitely recommend this place for breakfast and lunch!

Very nice! Fortunately, the Croissant with over easy scramble and truffle cheese was not overcooked. Nice and fluffy and gooey The Haloumi, taken with extra Suçuk, was well cooked. The Avocado and Pastrami was my highlight. Both taken without bread to keep it (sort of) low carb. Apparently they don't bother adding or omitting stuff. Just don't insult them with substitutes. Don't be that guy... The only downside (my own fault) is that I choose the only table that wobbles, so I eat my all-day breakfast as if I were sailing on the Stena Line.

Such a lovely spot! The staff was super kind and attentive, and the cozy vibe made it even better. As the name suggests, they specialize in egg dishes, but there’s plenty of variety. I had the sucuk, my friend chose a chicken dish, and both were delicious with huge portions. Prices are fair for the serving size. The fresh orange juice was great, and the music added to the nice atmosphere. A perfect place to start the day I’d definitely recommend it!

Nice place to have breakfast. Good omeltts, a little bit blend. Could have some more seasoning. Rather big portions. It is a lot of egg. Sidesalade is a little sad. Visit on a Monday, so maybe the staff was a little tired from the weekend 😉

The coffee was not good, and they didn’t have any milk alternatives.

I had to wait outside for 5 minutes in the cold because the staff said they can not let me in until my other 3 friends came. I also asked them if I can wait inside due to cold weather but they rejected due to “security reasons”…Once one of my friends arrived, we really had to convince them to have us seated by saying other friend will come in 2 mins. This whole waiting queue experience was quite annoying…Also, once we were in, service was not very fast/we had to order some things twice as a reminder. Besides that, the food is quite okay and filling, but the inside of my omelette was quite juicy (not very well cooked). Lastly, the atmosphere is nice & cozy but the poor experience with service affected our general experience in a bad way..

Great Omelettes and Atmosphere, Lousy Bread. This is by far the best omelette you can get in the city. The price to quality ratio is perfect. I just really really hope someday they will at least consider adding a sourdough or french baguette style bread as an option or completely switch the current bread they have now. The bruin bread is very Dutch, flavorless, full of air and has a taste of paper. You can ask for it toasted which sometimes helps a little bit. Please change the bread!

Super omelettes, super bread. We tried the avocado and pastrami omelette and the peanut butter and banana omelette. Both were very delicious. There is a high chair and a baby cleaning area.

I already knew the other Omelegg place in the center but it’s a great discovery in the De Pjip district! We barely waited, we were placed at the sharing table but as soon as a table of 4 became available we were kindly moved to be between us. The choice is huge, all our dishes were very good. The service is really perfect. The only point to note is that we cannot split the bill and they don't accept cash but that's a detail! I highly recommend
