The food is always delicious. Unfortunately, it's also shrink-flation here. The rocky chicken used to be a real plateful. Now it's maybe 200 grams, just chicken breast, and that for €24.

Tasty food, nice environment, clean toilets. Only one thing: we had to wait more than an hour for our Main. The people sitting next to us came in after we had our Entree and left before we had our Main. i think there was something wrong in the kitchen. But friendly staff.

On Tuesday, August 5, 2025, around 6:00 PM, we stood deeply disappointed at the closed door of Orbit on Scheldestraat. We were looking forward to a delicious birthday dinner. Before we got on our bikes, we first checked the website to see if Orbit was open. It said "Open." We already searched the menu for what we wanted to eat. After a half-hour bike ride, we arrived at a closed door. A notice on the door stated that Orbit was closed part of the week and open part of the week. But the website said "open that day"! So disappointed! Dear Orbit, we regularly visit you to enjoy the delicious menus. It would have been helpful if you kept the website up-to-date so that customers didn't have the same experience as we did. Note: The one star is because we were disappointed that we were misled by your website.

Good food but there aren’t many choices on the menu.

My experience with Restaurant Orbit was downright disappointing and unfortunately gives a bad impression of how guests are treated here. A reservation I confirmed was unilaterally cancelled without any form of communication. No phone call, no email – simply nothing. When I made inquiries myself, it turned out that there was an internal conflict between the restaurant and American Express (with whom I had booked). What particularly bothers me about this: I, as a paying and unsuspecting customer, was not included or compensated at all. No apologies, no alternative, no goodwill – as if this were my problem. It feels like you, as a guest, are the victim of a business dispute that you have nothing to do with. And instead of taking responsibility or showing customer friendliness, the restaurant simply leaves you out in the cold. A restaurant does not only run on good food, but also on service and respect for the guest. Orbit has failed miserably in this regard. Too bad, because it is a missed opportunity to resolve something properly and maintain trust.

Great food, fantastic service. Can't say otherwise. Well, you can, but then it wouldn't make sense.

The price is way too expensive compared to the food you get. Ridiculously expensive prices.

Had a delicious meal here in combination with the American Express Dining credit. We received a pre-composed menu so we could try plenty of different dishes. Nice location within walking distance of P&R Rai. Friendly staff and the restaurant has a very nice warm atmosphere!

Really nice eastern food, very friendly and excellent service. Tables were a bit close together to my opinion and the music a bit too loud for my taste but everything else great

We ordered the 3-course menu for €55 per person and were satisfied overall, but the bottom line was that we would have expected a little more. You let yourself be surprised when choosing the menu and you can't choose the dishes. Therefore, I recommend choosing the dishes one at a time to make sure it is what you like best. Clear recommendation for the brownie with vanilla ice cream! The service was great, but I have to complain that we were simply given a San Pellegrino water without asking, which is unfortunately ridiculously expensive at €8 per bottle. The gesture is attentive - no question about it - but given the price, an inquiry would be appropriate. Otherwise we had a nice evening and the food was also delicious 😊 The atmosphere is very nice and modern and the staff is very friendly!

Please do not tell me to take off my hat. This is my decision.

We have eaten at Orbit several times recently. The staff is very friendly & fast. The food is very tasty. We like coming here.

I love this place. I’ve lived around the corner for years now — it has so much heart and soul, beautiful interior deco which makes it feel authentic and great staff. The food and drinks are perfect too. Please consider going to this place I don’t know what I’d do if it shut down.

Terrible service, especially the way they talk to customer. Before ordering food I’ve specifically asked about how spicy is the food, and received an answer that it was a little spicy. Turns out it’s a really spicy curry, that I couldn’t eat. Stuff had no way to help and went straight to having not a pleasant conversation.

Top Asian restaurant with a small menu. Everyone at the table loved the food. Nice and quick service, and the prices are right too.

When I know I'm going to eat at Orbit, I can't wait for the Rocky Chicken with fried rice, delicious! Crispy chicken with a delicious sweet sauce in combination with fried rice! Outside of dinner, Danny always welcomes us with both arms and a broad smile! People, definitely come here!

We had the red curry and the red curry tofu and extra vegetables. Food was small portion but good. What we didn't like was the 14€ for the microscopic vegetable plate and 7€ for less than 1 li of water. My conclusion, overpriced. Not going back.

Very tasty food. We had the Szehuan beef and the Sake beef. Highly recommended. The beef was very tender and high quality. The cocktail “Perfect Kiss” was also very tasty. The restaurant had a nice atmosphere and the service was very nice.

Just finish. During Horecava we come here several times in 1 week. Delicious dishes, fast and friendly service. The course menus are always original and extremely tasty. Absolute winner

Nice Asian restaurant with a limited menu. I had the squid and then the red curry. Both were delicious. Staff are very friendly and helpful.

Top notch Asian fusion, matched with top notch service, not sure about Christmas decorations in November, but that's just me.

Leuke tent, vriendelijk personeel. Had tofu in rode curry besteld. Lekker maar niet op gegeten vanwege te veel olie. Gezelschap had lamskoteletten die wel helemaal op zijn gegaan.

Orbit is not it! The last time I visited Orbit (before this visit) was pre-corona. It wasn't a success back then. The chef could've had a bad day, so I decided to try them again. So it's been about 3 years since I last visited and I'm sorry to say still not a success. We left after the starters, because I wasn't willing to spend money on food I didn't like. We had 3 starters: the Peking duck pancakes, Szechuan squid, and dim sum. All 3 dishes had a lot of salt. The squid was rubbery and tasted fishy. The sauce that came with the duck was nice, so I had a lot of sauce with duck (intentional wording) The dim sum was the absolute worst; no flavour, thick pastry with a side of salt. That's where I drew the line and decided to take my money elsewhere. The staff that served us was nice. I'm allergic to shrimp and they catered to that professionally. I didn't give them 5 stars, because: - one of them took away a dish I wasn't finished with. Since I didn't like it anyway, I didn't say anything about it - within a short period of time (I would guess less than 5 mins) 3 members of staff came to ask if we were done eating. And 1 of them even opened the dim sum steamer to check if there was still something left in it. To be fair, after I tasted the dim sum I just lowered the chopsticks and didn't pick them up again. My friend was still eating however. In the end, I've decided that Orbit is not for me and my tastebuds. I will not be trying that again.

Super restaurant, het was alleen vervelend als de deur van buiten openstond dan zat je in de tocht, gelukkig deed het personeel er meteen wat mee toen ik het aangaf. Verder heerlijk gegeten en genoten van de goede service

Oei wat lekker eten zeg, ook heel vriendelijk personeel. Genoeg ruimte om met veel mensen iets te vieren. En ook intiem genoeg voor twee.

Vandaag wezen eten, 5 voor gerechten genomen voor 2 personen. Inktvis, softshell krab, beef skewer, beef rolls en dimsum kip/garnaal. Nou wat een heerlijkheid! Alles wat erg lekker. Hoofdgerechten garnalen in kerriesaus/limoengras en szechuan beef. Ook heerlijk, bediening was lekker snel. Hier komen we terug

Heerlijk eten, vriendelijk personeel

Ik heb zo lekker gegeten! Het eten was heerlijk vers en op smaak. Ook ben ik erg vriendelijk behandeld door het personeel. Er was vandaag pas plek om 20:30 maar ik belde om te vragen of ik “iets” eerder mocht komen. Dat “iets” eerder was een uur en ze hadden gewoon plek voor ons gemaakt. Super lief. Ik kom vaker !!

Ons favoriete restaurant in Amsterdam, hier eet ik altijd mijn bord leeg en zou zelfs nog een portie bestellen🤩 Het eten is boven verwachting, ziet er verrukkelijk uit, ik kan niet zeggen wat ik het lekkerst vind, want alles op de kaart is😋😋 mijn dochter is hier kind aan huis... Danny, de gastheer is zo liefff en charmant, een blije welgemeende glimlach die je doet stralen bij binnenkomst🥰 Tot gauw Danny✌️🤙

It was the only place in the neighborhood which would serve dinner after 10pm. Food was decent but we were hungry. They have amazing California wine.
