Pacific Amsterdam in Spaarndammer- en Zeeheldenbuurt

Very mediocre. The location is lovely in the evening with plenty of sun. I recommend having a drink here rather than eating. The food was very disappointing. Additionally, the staff doesn't come by to ask if you want another drink. Amsterdam is full of nice restaurants, so personally, I would skip this one.

A great place for a drink or a meal. They show live sports. The staff is efficient. The cocktails aren't anything special, though. There's plenty of seating inside and on the terrace.

Nice terrace in the Westerpark. Had a tasty brioche croquette for lunch.

Really nice place, good service, delicious food, fun atmosphere. Salad with chicken was light and delicious, we ordered a scorpion roll, it was special and delicious, and with beer it's generally excellent :-)

Had a delicious meal in the evening sun on the terrace. The service was very good and attentive. The food was very tasty (tataki for starters, followed by the cheeseburger and the cod). I am also always very happy with the many non-alcoholic (or low-cost) options on the drinks menu. Great!

There for the World Cup game, the service was EXTREMLY slow, waited more than an hour for 2 burgers, when I asked the waiter if i could change my order (cause i was tired, hungry and waiting) he laughed. Never got my burgers

Had lunch at Pacific today for the first time since the change in ownership, and unfortunately it was a disappointing experience. The biggest letdown was the guacamole. When I commented on it, I was told that it is made from a blend of frozen guacamole and freshly mashed avocado. That certainly explained the taste and lack of freshness. For a restaurant charging these prices, I would expect guacamole to be made fresh from scratch. Overall, the food felt uninspired and failed to justify the price point. Underwhelming experience.

Cozy, high-ceilinged interior, large west-facing terrace, parasols with heaters, prices slightly higher than average, food = smaller portions but good. Average visitor age between 20 and 35 years.

Pacific is one of the nicest places in westerpark to sit in the sun and have a good drink and chat. The service can be somewhat slow although it can be quite busy so understandable. Its your casual neighborhood terrace spot!

I've been to Pacific a few times before, for nights out and once for dinner, but this was my first time coming for brunch. We were a group of friends, kids included, and Pacific is one of those places that actually works for larger parties, so it made sense. The location inside Westerpark is genuinely lovely. It gives the whole place a relaxed, almost unexpected charm that's hard to find in the city. We ordered a spread of things across the table, smashed avo with poached egg, pancakes, burgers, scrambled eggs, the usual brunch suspects. The food was a solid 6, portions on the modest side, nothing that blew me away but nothing to complain about either. Service was a mixed bag. A bit forgetful, not super attentive, and when I asked about getting some cheese cubes before diving into the carbs, the waitress said she'd check and simply never came back. No apology, no follow-up. A small thing, but noticeable. Later in the meal a different waitress took over, and she was warm, smiley, and genuinely more attentive. Night and day difference. Pacific is still a great spot for drinks or an evening out. But for brunch specifically, I'll probably explore other options next time.

Went to this restaurant a lot of times, but there was this new mexican/spanish(?) guy. He made a perfect night for us. Very happy and with a big smile.

It started with a warm greeting upon arrival! Then a waitress took over, with long dark hair and a crop top. I don't have a name, so I'll just describe it like that. She was helpful, took the initiative to explain a bit about the cocktails, and was enthusiastic. Where did you find this gem?! We enjoyed a Brand Weizen and an Amaretto cocktail. It's great that you had Brand Weizen and Heineken on tap! Then the main course arrived a little later than planned, but we were in a hurry because we had to go to a show. We could have let them know, of course. The steak was delicious! Just right, with delicious potatoes, and my friend had the chicken (we prefer chicken breast over something with bones – tip). My sister had the cod, and my cousin had the stew with pasta. We were discerning table companions, and they all raved about the taste. Delicious! After the show, we returned for the dessert we'd already paid for and coffee. The carrot cake and the chocolate were 🤩 DELICIOUS, just perfect with the coffee. We really enjoyed the hospitality and atmosphere at Pacific. I hadn't heard of this place before. Let me just add that your team really made a difference; you wouldn't expect more in Amsterdam 😇 Thank you so much for that, and we'll be back soon. ❤️

Its ok… service is friendly but slow and unorganised as is usual in amsterdam. Food is ok, though for me it is too much a case of chop everything so small it has no texture and sprinkle cress on it. Atmosphere is dependent on guests filling up the place as it is done on the super cheap with an eye on a ‘pre loved mid century style’ that borders on musty jumble sale in a church hall. If that doesn’t sound great, i can be a tough reviewer and there are many worse places. Great selection of beers. Best for groups of young people i think.

Caesar salad was tasteless and came with burnt chicken, kids tosti was dried out.

Enjoyed a mashed avocado; delicious. Highly recommended!!!

Cozy place with delicious food!

The place looks really nice and has a great atmosphere. Food-wise, the chicken sandwich was really good and definitely the highlight of the meal. Unfortunately, the onion soup didn’t work for me, the caramelized onion flavor was so strong that I couldn’t finish the whole bowl. The chai latte also tasted very fake, and I’m guessing it was made with a chai concentrate (maybe from Minor Figures). Our waiter was really nice.

The food is nice, it's not going to blow you away but it's perfectly fine - you're not going to leave raving about it but you also won't leave with big complaints. I had a tuna tostada which was nice, and then a colleague and I shared the half chicken and a burger. The menu has good options to please most people and the service was friendly and attentive. They had a dj on that night which started at about 10 which was fun but not helpful if you want to chat easily.

Casual place, nice drinks options, good food, friendly staff. It is a breezy building, felt rather fresh like heating was not working at the max.

Went in for food today, ordered the double cheeseburger but received a Beyond meat burger instead. At first I thought it the server did it on purpose, but we also ordered specifically a full-fat Coke and received a Coke Zero so I assume it’s incompetence and not deliberate. Still, I was left feeling hungry after the food

Great restaurant to spend a cozy evening

Ridiculously cold inside, not enough heating for winter season. The toilets were also freezing and warm water tap is not working. Overall not a comfortable experience, at these prices we should be able to get basic necessities.

Overall, it was very good, but it's a shame that there were no meat dishes on the menu and the Caesar salad was a bit too salty. Everything else was delicious, we also ordered a burger, fried mushrooms, and beef - quite tasty

Their food has improved tremendously in recent years under new management. 🌞 I keep coming back for the Kip Karage (the best chicken tenders in Amsterdam!) on this sunny west-facing terrace, enjoying the last rays of summer sunshine in Westerpark. The chill, warm vibe in the seating areas by the open wood fireplace inside is also a great way to meet friends and enjoy the DJ-fueled dance floor every weekend. They also have excellent cocktails, and there's always room—both inside and on their enormous terrace. Except during the World Cup, when the terrace is packed for the ultimate experience!

Nice local joint, nicer indoors than outside. Food is basic but good, some local beer choice. Service is slow and inattentive, but overall it's nice and relaxed.

Last night we went out at Pacific and got kicked out because the two of us (two women) went to the restroom. If that's so forbidden, then tell us before we go in (there's a restroom attendant present) or post it somewhere so we could be aware of this policy instead of separating ourselves from our friends while out. We were also not allowed to get our coats from the locker, and the security guards wouldn't do it either. If it had been busy, I would have understood, but there were probably 25 people inside, and the security guards really had nothing to do (except kick us out).

Nice terrasse however we never received our full order for the food and the staff was too overwhelmed to deal with it. Disappointing.

We found this restaurant by chance after getting lost in Westerpark. Our order was taken very quickly after our arrival, and the drinks also arrived fairly quickly. The food, however, took a little while to arrive, as we had both finished our drinks. The meal was very good and a good size. The desserts aren't made on-site (as indicated on the menu), which I appreciate for its honesty, and they were also quite good.

Drinks and atmosphere are great. I’ve probably been there around 10 times now, and whether it’s in the afternoon or later at night, the vibes are always great. However, last night (29.06.2025), security was being incredibly rude to my friends. They just wanted to grab their bag from the terrace, but the security guard wouldn’t even let them explain the situation. He was tall, big, and had short dark hair. Thankfully, another security guard with blond hair eventually stepped in, handled the situation properly, and my friends were able to retrieve their bag. Please do a better job selecting your security staff.

Yesterday I visited Pacific. Where in many catering establishments the staff does not even look around, at Pacific the entire staff is super attentive and everything happens with a smile. Keep it up toppers!

Just went here for drinks, very fast and friendly service! Great selection of alcohol free beers! DJ was setting up his tables so probably not so quiet later on Friday night.

Menu is small in shape, but food is good. Miss the nachos put them back on the menu, and snacks vegan is only 1 option except bread. Service is great though very polite and caring

Great place to see live Rock n Roll, Mature Young crowd with good taste in music. Between music sets the dj plays punk rock, classic rock, and fun rock jams. Great beer selection and prices on hard liquor. I would definitely go here again. Reminds me of the type of bars you go to on the Sunset in Hollywood that are still legit and not touristy.

There’s a spacious terrace that’s perfect for enjoying the nice weather. The menu offers a good variety, and everything we tried was delicious. Especially the burgers, which I highly recommend. Great value for money, and the staff is young, friendly, and attentive.

This was a going away event for a colleague. The colleague chose Pacific Amsterdam. Big terrace and nice weather. In the darker & cooler time they put up the parasols with lights and heaters up. I ordered & paid thru QRcode each timme which I found convenient. You can also order directly from staff. Lots of room on inside. A climb upstairs of many steps to bathroom. No idea if there is a lift. Bathroom attendent in the evening. Be good to her!!! Nice venue- big, not squishy. So good for small & larger groups. Everyone in there & outside seemed to be enjoying themmselves One of us had a small confusion with order but nothing big and it was dealt with in good timme. Staff attentive, friendly & quick which is mmarvelous!!! I look foward to future visits and would recommend Pacific Amsterdam!

I had food here after many recommendations, and let me tell you it was amazing. I had the burger and it was great it was fatty sweet, sour and overall just very tasty. The homemade ice tea was also very delicious. The plating was nice, the music was nice, the interior was nice. Overall just a great vibe. Would come again!
