Great for kids, tasty pancakes (and other food), and friendly staff. A bit pricey though. Why, for example, is the veggie burger more expensive than the Angus beef burger?

We ate here for the first time with the kids. We usually go to Howdy's, but wanted to try something different. The shawarma pancake had a mediocre amount of shawarma, but a lot of lettuce. The hamburger and parmesan pancake were very tasty. The service was slow. We were also never asked if we wanted anything else to drink; we had to ask for it ourselves after sitting there for an hour. It's a shame, too, because you could sell so much more. The table wasn't cleared, so we kept sitting with a lot of empty glasses. Unfortunately, not a place we would return to.

Super friendly staff, great atmosphere, kid/family friendly. My son who has celiac disease was able to choose from a wide variety of gluten free options and his meal also came with several toys and a stuffed animal.

We had lunch here today. Once bread with chicken teriyaki and once the chicken satay with fries. It tasted okay, but it wasn't great. The service was very friendly and helpful. The location is great, on the terrace by the Vliet. Because of the last 2, 4* after all.

Finally, a pancake restaurant that makes its own batter instead of using a mix like in Meijendel. Nice terrace. Clean. Beautiful location. Service from the young staff is a bit slow. They are friendly, though. But they could sell many more drinks if they were more active and came around. It is a bit of a shame that the whipped cream comes from a spray can and there is only one dollop in a small glass container instead of the photo prominently displayed on the front of the menu. That feels fake. The menu shows many more strawberries and much more whipped cream. And by the looks of it, real whipped cream too, at least there. Unfortunately, we didn't get that. The owner should go the extra mile. The photo is from the menu to give a good representation. The pancakes taste fine.

According to the website, "De Pannekoe" is open until 8:30 PM. This evening, we arrived at 8:00 PM and were told we were closed, even though the entrance door was open and there was no "closed" sign.

I would like to highly recommend a wonderful place — Pannenkoe. We celebrated our daughter’s birthday here with her friends, and the children had a pancake baking workshop! They made the pancakes themselves and then decorated them — everyone was absolutely thrilled! And most importantly — the atmosphere! The staff are incredibly friendly, and the place is very clean (which is very important to me, and unfortunately not something you find everywhere — but here, it’s spotless!). Everything is delicious, the pancakes are huge, and the prices are very reasonable and affordable, especially considering the quality and generous portion sizes. We were left with such a warm and pleasant impression of this place. Our daughter kept asking to come back again — just as a family, for the weekend. And today, finally, we came back and once again we are delighted! It’s a place where we feel cozy, just like at home. You can truly relax here, take your time, enjoy every moment, and have a delicious meal. The café is also pet-friendly — at the next table there was a couple with their dog, and the staff brought him a bowl of water! A wonderful experience! We will definitely be coming back again and again, and we highly recommend it to everyone!

Na een dagje touren hadden wij zin in pannenkoeken. Helaas een aantal restaurants langs gegaan die vol zaten of geen honden toelieten. Via via kwamen wij bij de Pannenkoe in Leidschendam. Gelegen in een zeer leuk centrum bij het sluisje. Parkeren is gratis. Ze hadden een paar negatieve reviews, maar wij hebben heerlijk gegeten. Bediening is lekker snel en zeer aardig. Pannenkoeken waren ook goed en goed gevuld! Al met al een goede ervaring!

After a day of touring, we were craving pancakes. Unfortunately, we visited a few restaurants that were full or didn't allow dogs. We found Pannenkoe in Leidschendam through a friend. It's located in a very pleasant town center near the lock. Parking is free. They had a few negative reviews, but we had a delicious meal. The service was quick and very friendly. The pancakes were also good and well-filled! All in all, a good experience!

On Tuesday, after the holidays, we enjoyed unlimited pancakes! My family and I had a delicious meal. All the pancakes were carefully prepared, and the kids received tokens for gifts. Highly recommended! We'd love to come back!

I had delicious eats at the Pannenkoe! the little poffertjes were so cute and fluffy. the house special Pannenkoe was also amazing. the blend of all my favourite breakfast items worked very well. I'll be back next time!

Sit outside on the terrace in the sun. The sun stays longer here than on the other side of the lock. Pancakes were good.

We wanted to take advantage of the unlimited pancakes package. Pannekoe offers this on days that are not weekends, holidays or public holidays. April 22 is not included here. Yet we were told that they don't serve this because it is a holiday. After we looked this up, it turned out not to be the case, as the May holidays start on April 26. Then the story changed to "the kitchen is closing soon so we can't serve unlimited." It came across to us more as unwillingness than actual reasons. We left again and won't be back here again.

For my birthday, I wanted to eat unlimited pancakes with my friends around 7:00 PM. The waitress first tells you that it is a holiday, so they do not serve unlimited. We have subsequently been able to demonstrate that the May holidays will only start from April 26. We then receive the response that the kitchen does not want to serve unlimited pancakes because the kitchen closes at 8:30 PM. In other words: they refuse to offer unlimited pancakes, so that the staff can probably go home earlier. I was really looking forward to eating unlimited pancakes, especially as a fresh 30-year-old man. But my experience with the staff at this branch completely ruined my “birthday feeling”.

Nice place with nice, friendly employees. Waiting time for pancakes is short. As expected, there are a lot of children running around and there is even a separate playroom. I will definitely come back here again.

Once and never again. There were 5 of us. Immediately ordered 5 plain pancakes upon arrival. It was still quiet then and there were only 2 tables full. Our order took over an hour. The children wanted to leave. When we asked where our order was, it was indicated that it was busy: s A table next to us (they arrived later than we did). Received their order even earlier.

We couldn't even get cheese and peppers on our pancake because the menu wouldn't allow it in addition to the 2 other toppings? Not even for a fee. What nonsense. Basic recipe for the pancakes is perfect. Not too salty and no flour balls. In addition to the usual pancake choice such as syrup or with fruit, there is a wide choice of generous toppings. A choice other than pancakes has also been considered, such as hamburger. Pannenkoe even has its own beer. For children there is a play corner and the grabbing machine, for which you receive a Doekoe. The store is completely decorated in the 'cow' theme down to the curtains.

Great pancake house. Pancakes were delicious for the kids. We had a salmon salad that was a bit disappointing and a burger on a soggy bun, which wasn't great either. In short, from now on in a pancake house you just have to eat pancakes, that's what they're good at, you eat the rest elsewhere! The service was extremely friendly. The atmosphere seemed very nice. Beautiful location on the water, good space and nice theme. The care here looks good. The service was okay after ordering our drinks via QR code. In retrospect, we would have liked it as we were the last to come in, so we could receive more personal help. The food started well, it was delivered fairly quickly because the pancake had a lot of ingredients and the design of the dish seemed good. Unfortunately, the baking was not consistent... so my friend had burnt ingredients, among other things, and the baking itself was too far... very bad for a restaurant where it was no longer busy, where you therefore have the time to make a good pancake. to be delivered to your customer. The staff was friendly and said that we should have said this immediately. Only we found this out halfway through... Unfortunately.

For the first time in my life I ordered poffertjes (from a pancake house!) and they were crispy. Moreover, it took 20 minutes to serve them - for one order of poffertjes. They didn't apologize for the delay, even when we said it wasn't cooked properly after asking how it was made. Disappointing and would not recommend.

Waited more than 20 minutes and paid 10 euros for poffertjes that were hard as cookies. Certainly not fresh, very disappointing for a pancake house!! Not recommended!!

Nice tent in a beautiful location

What a typhoid tent. I'll be there at 5:45 with my kids. We order at 6:00 PM and the food is not yet on the table at 7:05 PM. Other tables that arrived later and were even larger than my family received their food earlier. Cancer tent..

Price-performance was reasonable. As a vegetarian there is also a lot to choose from. Pancake batter was great. We had one with salmon and one with 4 cheese. Both were super tasty. We had nothing to complain about. The waitresses were also very friendly.

Cozy restaurant, especially for children. Lots of choice, in addition to the traditional pancakes. Friendly staff. Fun activities for the children (play corner/coloring page/grabbing machine). Easy online reservations. Nicely located near the Sluisjes.

Had coffee and poffertjes. The poffertjes were inedible. They weren't freshly made, 100% sure. The shape was too perfect and the taste didn't taste like anything. I was with my partner and friend who had invited my uncle, so I didn't say anything else. If I had been alone with my partner I would have complained on the spot. Once and never again. Not recommended

Lekker eten louk reaustrant en ook nog zeer vriendelijk personeel ik eaad het aan

2 sterren omdat het eten lekker was. Verder geen fijne ervaring. De bediening kijkt je niet eens aan. Tunnelvisie vooruit. Ik lees veel dezelfde ervaringen en nooit een reactie. Blijkbaar wordt er ook niks mee gedaan. Ik kom hier niet meer. Jammer.

Zaten met 6 volwassenen en 2 kinderen, waarvan er 1 jongen jarig was en 5 jaar werd. Werd 1x gevraagd in het begin of alles naar wens was. Na het eten van onze bestellen geen bediening of ander personeel meer gezien. Hebben nog een half uur gewacht en hebben toen binnen afgerekend . Hebben geen desert genomen dat hoefde voor ons niet meer. Werd ook niet gevraagd of we een desert wilden. Vroeger kreeg je nog iets voor de jarige en kon je een naam opgeven want dan kreeg je op je een verjaardagskaart voor een gratis pannekoek. Denk dat we gewoon zonder betalen hadden weg kunnen lopen. Dat had niemand in de gaten gehad. Eten viel mee,maar slechte bediening. We waren nog de enigste tafel buiten. Werd ook niet gevraagd of je nog iets wilde drinken. En dat met dit warme weer van 30 graden. Is niet de eerste keer dat we dit meemaken. Denk niet dat we hier nog terug komen.

Vrij laat gebeld(19:15), maar wij konden nog gewoon terecht. Geen haast en een gezellige sfeer en prima pannekoeken natuurlijk.

Jammer dat we geen Bierglas van Cornet meekregen terwijl dit wel werd aangekondigd op affiche.......

Kwaliteit van het eten is voortreffelijk. Hier werkt een kok met inzicht! Uitmuntend broodje hamburger en uitstekende pannekoeken. Vriendelijke bediening. Ga zo door! Mijn complimenten!

Gewoon altijd prima! Lekkere pannekoeken, goede service en aan het einde kijkt mijn zoontje er naar uit om een muntje te krijgen voor de surprisemachine. Aanrader!

Lekkere pannenkoek maar hele hele slechte bediening. , We waren met onze dochter van 2, werd nog geen tekening aangeboden, moesten zelf vragen of we mochten bestellen. Werd niet gevraagd of we dat nog wilden drinken. Bij het afrekenen (binnen) kwam de aap uit de mouw. De bediening ( 4 man sterk) was te druk om pepermuntjes naar elkaar over te gooien. Jammer maar ze vergeten dat ze een terras hebben. Daarnaast kalfjes menu (voor kids) erg teleurstellend. Plaatje op de kaart erg misleidend.

Gewoon lekkere pannekoeken en poffertjes.

Lekkere grote pannenkoeken, zoals een pannenkoek moet smaken. Zo was het fruit op de pannenkoek zeer vers. Ook andere gerechten mogelijk, zoals bijv. biefstuk welke ook prima smaakt. Vertier voor kinderen met een doe-placemat. Een fijn familierestaurant met hele aardige bediening. Kinderen krijgen een doekoe, waarmee ze een speeltje uit de automaat kunnen halen. Gezellig terras aan de sluis. Regelmatig pannenkoekenaanbieding wat ik geweldig goed vind voor de minima hier die ook eens met hun kinderen uit eten kunnen. De pannenkoe zie je overal op een leuke manier terug. Piepklein minpuntje is dat op een drukke dag met veel verloop het wat plakkerig kan zijn. Maar het is tenslotte een zeer kindvriendelijk restaurant. Dus we komen er nog steeds met inmiddels volwassen kinderen graag. Voor het dessert wandelen we liever naar de naastgelegen ijssalon.

Super gezellig kinderfeestje gehad . Kids konden lekker rond lopen en kleuren koks mutsen kleuren en zelf met een hele gezellige klok pannekoeken bakken en daarna versieren met allerlei lekkere spekjes enz aanrader voor een geslaagd kinderfeestje

Hardstikke leuke eetgelegenheid waar je je kind een groot plezier mee doet. Het is ook echt gericht op kinderen, dus er zijn genoeg kinderstoelen, een hele leuke (interactieve) speelhoek, en een leuk aanbod aan kindergerechten. Zo krijgen ze er ook nog 1 of 2 muntjes bij waarmee ze zelf een prijs uit de grijpmachine kunnen hengelen. Met lekker weer kan je ook op hun terras gaan zitten waar je ook bediend word, en aangezien dit naast een sluis en brug zit heb je ook nog een leuk uitzicht. De pannenkoeken zijn lekker groot met een ruime keus uit zoet of hartig beleg. Ook voor feestjes ben je hier welkom, en elke dinsdag (m.u.v. vakanties en feestdagen)is het onbeperkt pannenkoeken eten. Dit is een aanrader en we komen hier zeker nog eens terug

Tja eigenlijk was het het allemaal net niet.. Geen zeep en handdoekjes in de wc Trage bediening Pannenkoek was ook zeker niet spannend Kleurplaten voor de kids maar geen kleur potloden. Enz enz

Had the unlimited deal where you could have as many pancakes as you like. Each one of them was amazing! I always struggle to decide whether to have sweet or savory, but this way, you can have both! They are smaller versions of the usual ones so makes it possible. The staff were super helpful too. Will definitely be back,

Restaurant is gezellig ingericht, personeel zeer vriendelijk.

Beste pannekoeken Spek kaas van het land, zoek niet verder, hier moet je zijn! Attent personeel en een sfeervolle inrichting. Een tent om te koesteren in het centrum van Leidschendam.

Hier eten met ons 1 jarige zoontje hebben wij als erg prettig ervaren. Het eten smaakte goed en ons zoontje vond het erg leuk om overal koeien te zien. Ons zoontje vond de speelplek erg leuk. Veel speelgoed was al wat oud en beschadigd en de digitale speelschermen aan de muur deden het niet, maar dat was voor hem geen probleem. Hij genoot van wat er lag. Voor ons hoeft er voor de kinderen geen "doekoe" bij elk kindermenu; dat is een muntje die je in een grijpautomaat kunt doen; waarbij je altijd prijs hebt. Grijpautomaten vinden wij helemaal niet wenselijk voor kleine kinderen. De speeltjes zijn zo kapot; je grijpt nooit wat je wilt; dus de kinderen willen alleen maar meer keer proberen. Gelukkig heeft ons zoontje daar nog geen last van, maar het maakt voor ons dat we minder snel terug komen.

Supervriendelijk jonkies zijn zeer dienstbaar maar niet alles gaat perfect. Maar de smaak, gezelligheid en prachtige locatie maken naast het personeel alles goed. En natuurlijk is het fijn dat alles een prima prijs heeft. Nog wel...

Our second visit at this cozy, traditional pancake house. The pancakes are prepared in old iron cast pans and generosity covered with the toppings of your choice. Super friendly service and located in the old town centre of Leidschendam in front of the waterway.

Super leuk kinderfeestje gehouden, waar ze zelf pannenkoeken mochten bakken, koksmuts, kleurplaat, ijsje en nog met een muntje uit de grijpautomaat wat leuks mogen halen. Mochten zelfs het kadootje nog ruilen voor wat anders. Lief personeel, kon van alles en lieten de kids plezier maken aan tafel en in de speelhoek. Zelf vonden we de kids te druk en waarschuwde wij ze, maar personeel leek het niet te hinderen. Enige minpunt is lastig parkeerplek te vinden.

Het blijft fascineren om in dit zo gezellige restaurant op zo'n mooi plekje met uitzicht op het haventje en sluis te eten. Voor een erg laag prijsje eet je heerlijke eenvoudige gerechtjes en pannenkoeken en ja het duurt soms wat langer, het gaat soms niet helemaal goed maar altijd met een excuus en glimlach en een goedmakertje als die ene keer iets niet goed ging. Wij gaan er met het gezin regelmatig met het hele gezin naar toe, al een jaar of 15 lang.

Voorheen heel tevreden, dit laatste bezoek was een teleurstelling . Na 50 minuten wachten kwamen de pannenkoeken. Die van de kinderen waren prima, die van mij was vrijwel wit en ook niet warm. Na een paar happen merkte ik dat de pannenkoek niet gaar was en heb ik deze teruggestuurd naar de keuken. Vrij snel kwam er een nieuwe maar ook deze was slap en niet gaar. Erg jammer, dit ben ik niet van Pannenkoe Leidschendam gewend

Zondagmiddag 24 november, de restaurant is half leeg. 4 cappucino, een glas wijn: 30 minuten wachten. 5 pannenkoeken (waarvan 3 dezelfde) een uur wachten. Geen tweede bezoek waard. Jammer om te zien hoe slechte service een zaak kan verwoesten.
