Nice place, but the new owner is making a few mistakes. I'm very disappointed. The dishes are bland, with wilted garnishes and stale bread. The waiting room looks atmospheric. Such a shame for this location with so much potential.

We had a setback right from the start: it took over fifteen minutes for an order to be taken. Then we received our coffee, which was lukewarm and ready to drink. When we received our food, we immediately ordered a soft drink, but it wasn't written down and was forgotten. We had to chase it up. We ordered a 12-hour meal, which included tomato soup, cheese omelet, and a croquette served on rustic slices. The soup was ready to drink and full of flavor. We had a beautiful view. When we started on the egg, it looked quite plain and small, and it was also overcooked with a crust on the bottom. The croquette was overcooked and tasted overcooked, which wasn't very good. The salad and dressing were simple but tasty. The staff was very friendly, and the view was beautiful.

We had dinner at De Blauwe Kamer on Boxing Day. The food was delicious, and the service was excellent, friendly, and attentive. We especially enjoyed the atmosphere, which is crucial when you're enjoying a meal out. The music was fantastic! A fantastic evening!

Not worth repeating. My family and I attended Christmas brunch on Christmas Day. We were seated upstairs. Once upstairs, we found ourselves in a rather dull room. You'd expect it to be festively decorated, but it wasn't. The Christmas spirit was nowhere to be found. Christmas brunch was from 2:00 PM to 4:30 PM. You might expect the buffet to be ready, but it wasn't. Twenty minutes later, the buffet opened. Full of anticipation, we went downstairs, as the buffet was there. It was a huge disappointment. The soup was lukewarm, and the other hot food wasn't hot either. Meat had to be searched for in a watery sauce. If you were lucky, you might find a piece. It wasn't tasty. The cold buffet was somewhat okay, but the hot buffet was far below par. For a brunch costing €42.50 per person, you'd expect the food to be warm and tasty. You also had to carry your plate up a narrow wooden staircase and encounter oncoming traffic, meaning, if you were unlucky, food would fall off your plate. It's a shame, as a family we didn't enjoy ourselves and we won't be back.

What a wonderful Christmas brunch! We ate here with the whole family on Boxing Day, and the buffet was so extensive and diverse. The dishes were replenished quickly, and the buffet presentation was absolutely beautiful. We'll be back next year!

A Christmas buffet, you expect a lot from it, especially considering the price! Unfortunately, it was so subpar that the local nursing home could do even better. The salmon had been sitting above the water for a week, so dry, there were undefined messes of food in containers that didn't keep anything warm, and the carpaccio sat unrefrigerated all evening. A meatball my oldest could have held up 14 times was so hard, and leftover chicken from yesterday was stirred into satay sauce. No, sorry, you don't serve this, especially not at Christmas. The play area is poorly maintained, with holes in the mats or no mats at all, and a large slot just big enough for a foot, a metal bar with a metal eyelet perfectly positioned at forehead height. Does that carpet ever get vacuumed? This restaurant is a huge disappointment.

We have always had a wonderful experience at Blaauwe Kamer. You immediately feel genuinely welcomed by the host, who clearly puts heart and soul into this place.The location is truly special. Surrounded by beautiful nature, it’s the perfect spot to slow down and enjoy the landscape, while little ones can have fun at the playground upstairs. There are often cultural activities, live music, and children’s workshops, so it’s definitely worth checking the agenda beforehand. The food is delicious, with a wide variety of options, and it truly tastes homemade and prepared with care. The saffron ice cream is especially delicious. Everything feels honest and comforting, and you can tell that attention is given not only to flavor, but also to quality and atmosphere.

A lovely restaurant with a beautiful view, and the children's play area is fantastic. The atmosphere is good, and the staff is friendly. The lunch menu is limited, especially for children, even though the restaurant is geared towards them. The food was good, though. We were shocked by the price of a children's ice cream. 7 euros for a small scoop of ice cream with a dollop of whipped cream. Very meager. For this price, we would have expected at least a nice children's cup or some decorations or something similar.

You're forced into a draught; it was terribly cold. There was also a leak in the ceiling, so someone in our group got wet during lunch. Furthermore, the group's food was served far too far apart; the first person had finished their plate before the last person had their order. The food was also cold/lukewarm. Not recommended.

Wow, what a fun, welcoming, and vibrant place this has become. And the food is amazing: I've never had such delicious veggie burgers. And you get not just one, but two. And not two of the same, but two different ones! And on Thursday evenings, there are live performances with a fantastic crowd.

I ate here about a year ago, and it was delicious with plenty of choices, but now, a year later, it was actually disappointing. In the news about the takeover, you could read that the selection would only be expanded, but the opposite is true. Forget steak and pork tenderloin now; you have to make do with chicken, meatballs, and some other cuts of meat. Not that it's bad; the fish selection is fine, but it's poor compared to what it was before the takeover. Then there are the desserts: fewer choices, poorer quality, nowhere near as tasty, and no refills even though there was still plenty of time to help yourself. When I asked for some chocolate mousse, I was simply told it wouldn't be replenished, and the mango mousse was gone even sooner. A real step backwards! With a buffet, everything has to be available until the end, and even for people who only go to dessert half an hour before everything closes. Because I can compare it to what it used to be, I can say it's no longer a PREMIUM buffet, so please remove that term from the website.

We've been coming to De Blaauwe Kamer for over twenty years, usually to our satisfaction. And of course, over all those years, there have been occasional disappointments. Like last Saturday (November 8th). Twenty-seven of us enjoyed a brunch buffet. As usual, the atmosphere was pleasant. However, the buffet had some issues. The ragout for the pastries was very salty. The same was true for the meatballs, especially the sauce. The chicken wings were very tender, making them tough. But all in all, we always had a delicious meal. For the record, this is purely constructive criticism, nothing more, nothing less. We'll happily go to Restaurant De Blaauwe Kamer next time.

A unique restaurant in the nature reserve of the same name. The new owners present international cuisine, available as a buffet. It was very busy, but they were very helpful in finding a quiet spot.

I took advantage of the brunch package. I found the quality and taste unsatisfactory. Other aspects, such as the staff and accommodations, were perfect.

A nice restaurant with a "unique" service from Robots. The food is excellent, but there's a beautiful view of the nature reserve and the river! Children receive "tokens" that they can spend in the arcade, for example, to play a claw machine three times.

Unlike previous times, the restaurant has gone downhill rapidly. Since the new owners took over, it's been incredibly bad. The food is cold, burnt, there's little choice, and the service is also lacking. After complaining, I was told that this is how they run their buffets these days. Well, they won't see me there again, ever. And the prices are absolutely disproportionate to the food you get. With some difficulty, we got our drinks for free.

Remembering a year ago, when this restaurant, under its previous ownership, offered a very extensive and excellent buffet for around €27, I took advantage of the offer that allowed two people to enjoy a one-time, unlimited dinner buffet with international dishes for €15 per person on Thursday evenings. Unfortunately, the choice was limited to rice, two salads, satay meat, Thai tofu, a Moroccan bean dish, and a cup of ice cream each. The quality of this limited selection was good, though. Furthermore, the following was missing: The promised live music from a variety of artists The promised complete evening out by the Rhine. Unfortunately, there was only one DJ playing jazz music with heavy bass at such a volume that engaging conversation was impossible. As a result, this promised Dinner by the Rhine ended very disappointingly and very quickly. Furthermore, one wonders whether, if more people are there, they are eager to sit at the various long tables next to complete strangers. The daylight location is beautiful, with views of the Lower Rhine, fallow deer, and the Blauwe Kamer nature reserve. Of course, we weren't expecting a buffet like last year at this promotional price, but the overblown and misleading advertising raised much higher expectations.

Had lunch with family and had Thai steak salad. Extremely poor and truly worthless.

We used to come here regularly, and it was always a lovely restaurant. You always had to make a reservation in advance, because it was always busy and lively. Unfortunately, this time was different. It was very quiet, and that really affected the atmosphere. We've noticed the restaurant has deteriorated. The beautiful table settings are now missing – like a nice napkin or a (luxury) placemat. The buffet also offers less choice than before. There was also a September special, but unfortunately, it was forgotten at checkout. We hope you'll invest in this again, so that the atmosphere and quality of the past return and regulars find their way back. Because this is what we want for you.

We stopped for a cup of tea during a bike ride. After 5 minutes, our order was taken. After 15 minutes, someone came back to ask if we'd like a drink. Two teas, then, but we'd already ordered that, we said. When, after another 10 minutes, the two glasses of hot water still hadn't arrived, we decided to leave. Next time, we'll take the ferry to 'het Veerhuis'.

We wanted to have lunch here yesterday by bike. The only option these days is a world buffet from Monday to Friday. The concept is nice, but very limited. Don't expect a sandwich, but rice with various meat sauces, in other words, a hot meal. It tastes fine, but not great. Unfortunately, the waitresses didn't speak Dutch very well, which I personally find very important, especially when dealing with customers. So next time I'll just cross the ferry, and as far as I understand, there was also a nice restaurant there with a delicious lunch.

Nice restaurant. However, serving the mint tea in such a small tea glass isn't very practical. There's so much mint crammed in that you barely have room to stir. Otherwise, the food and drinks were excellent.

We just popped in for a drink. There were plenty of people there for lunch, which cost €15 per person. We paid €4 for green ice tea and €6.50 for an iced coffee. The service was okay; they spoke reasonable Dutch. There's a nice view of the Rhine. But I wouldn't go there again just for a drink.

The location in the De Blauwe Kamer nature reserve is, of course, fantastic. Unfortunately, the surrounding atmosphere isn't quite right: the parking lot and entrance are a mess. Inside, the atmosphere is reasonable, as much as possible in a large, rectangular space. The welcome was friendly, and we were immediately offered a drink, which was also brought quickly. Unfortunately, then the long wait began... We were only able to order after half an hour (read below), after which it took another hour for it to arrive. We didn't hear an apology. Around us, we saw other people wondering where their orders were. On the plus side, it does create a sense of camaraderie. On the table is a modern light with a QR code, which unfortunately doesn't work. Don't worry, you can turn that same light around (the light turns red) to alert the staff that you want to order/request something. Unfortunately, that doesn't work either; it took half an hour for it to be noticed. Interesting detail: the website proudly announces that delivery robots will be driving around to assist the staff. Perhaps the batteries were dead, because we didn't see one running.

Beautiful spot in a nature reserve. The food was delicious. Drinks were simply placed in the middle of the table and not served, and the waitress barely spoke, or spoke very softly. Chicken satay was a bit meager at €18.50 for two satay sticks, some vegetables, and salad; a piece of bread or some fries would have been nice. The menu and selection were limited. Last year, the menu was larger, and the service was excellent.

The industrial style of the façade coexists with the warmth and coziness inside. While sitting at the table, you can watch deer, horses and birds by the river - especially nice on the open terraces next to the water 🦌🌳🐦‍⬛🐣🪿🦆There are beautiful walking and cycling routes nearby 🧭 🚲🥾

De brunch was niet volgens afspraak! Afgesproken drankjes stonden niet klaar. Koffie werd extra in rekening gebracht, de afspraak was dat dit bij de brunch behoorde.Voor een kind van 9 jaar werd voor een volwassene in rekening gebracht.

Ate from the buffet here for the first time since the takeover. There's not much left of the buffet. The selection used to be huge and delicious. Now it's quite limited. I understand that as a new owner, you want to try (new) things and put your own spin on them. But make sure there are at least the most popular dishes. The meatballs used to be very tasty. There's nothing left of them either. They were dry and tough. They looked like they'd been reheated for the fifth time. Sometimes you shouldn't change things just because they're good. Our daughter wanted to play in the arcade. It was always fun using the tokens for the machines. Unfortunately, almost everything was broken. The coin slots weren't covered, so the children lost their coins. There's a note saying "defective" on them. This is something a five-year-old can't read or understand. If you suggest that it would be wise to cover the slot to prevent coins from unnecessarily disappearing, you get strange looks. Will we come back here again? I don't think so.

Er was 1 serveerster die nog brood en gebakken aard heeft geregeld. Degene in het restaurant begreep het probleem niet echt . Heb dit bij het afrekenen ook aangegeven .

Na wat kritische reviews gelezen te hebben, wilde ik mijn ervaring delen. Ik zie juist een plek met aandacht voor duurzaamheid, wereldse smaken en gastvrijheid. Geen vreetschuur, maar een restaurant met een visie. Het sluit nu beter aan bij de locatie van het restaurant. Het buffet heeft iets minder keuze dan vroeger, maar de kwaliteit en smaak zijn duidelijk verbeterd. De saladebar is verser en aantrekkelijker dan voorheen. Wat ik persoonlijk erg waardeer: er staan meer plantaardige opties op de kaart, zonder standaard vleesvervangers. Dat maakt het verrassend en puur.

Unfortunately, I had a bad experience at the Blue Room since the restaurant was transferred to the new owner. Where we were loyal guests at the Blue Room for years who were very satisfied with the menu and the food, this is unfortunately no longer the case. The menu is very limited (you can't even order a nice piece of meat such as a steak or a seasonal dish. There is a lot of vegan on the menu. The ordered bread board with spreads and the Black Angus burger tasted like nothing. The meat was so overcooked that it was bone dry and the sauce did not match the type of burger at all. Also out of misery but decided to skip dessert. The service is still friendly, but also makes you wait a long time. In short, a big decline from such a modern and good restaurant. For us, no more visits to the Blue Room given the quality of the food.

It was busy, but the friendly manager gave me a place. After a tough bike ride and a walk through the beautiful area, this was certainly welcome. Many thanks for the nice welcome and for keeping my bike bags for a while.

Went out for dinner with family. There is a cozy atmosphere with a beautiful view over the Rhine. We had a buffet. The choice is not very big, but fresh / warm food. Desserts has a somewhat more extensive range and is very tasty. Definitely recommended for families with children. There is enough space upstairs to play so that parents can sit and eat.

Vorige week op deze prachtige plek midden in de natuur wezen lunchen. De Blaauwe Kamer Restaurant & Cultuurplein is onlangs overgenomen door nieuwe eigenaren en dat verschil merk je direct. Het interieur is vernieuwd en wat is het mooi geworden! Ontzettend warm en stijlvol, echt een ‘huiskamer gevoel’. Op social media had ik gezien dat ze op doordeweekse dagen tussen 12.00 & 15.00 een ‘Wereldse lunch’ van Food of Cultures aanbieden voor maar €15,-. Je stelt zelf je bord samen uit een selectie van wereldse smaken (zie foto) en wat was het heerlijk!! Wat een super leuk en vernieuwend concept! En fantastisch is de speelruimte boven, waar mijn zoontje zich zo ontzettend heeft vermaakt! Ook werd ons verteld dat ze elke donderdagavond een nieuw ‘live muziek’ concept hebben met werelds buffet. Wisselende artiesten uit de omgeving die muziek komen maken op deze prachtige plek. Wij komen snel genieten van het buffet en luisteren naar de muziek!

Very busy. Friendly staff, good food, nice place but with warm weather almost impossible to do

Ate here yesterday. Had to wait a long time. Sandwich with spreads for 4 people. 5 pieces of bread with lots of spreads. For the long wait, a bowl of nuts with a diameter of a 2 euro coin was brought. There are robots driving around where there probably used to be a sticker on the back. Looks dirty now in any case. Floor did not look clean. The food was not a highlight. A bit of a cafeteria feel. Service could also be better. For example, the plates were already collected while someone was still eating. It is certainly a beautiful location, but I think it could be a lot tidier around the building. A nice challenge for the new owner to make improvements. Until these improvements are made, in my opinion it is not really recommended.

Had a team meeting at this location. Nice quiet environment with good rooms, nice coffee and good food for lunch and dinner. The area is also good for a relaxing walk.

Good options for meat and fish lovers, and vegetarians (veggie dishes are marked). I didn't see any vegan options. Nice atmosphere with a small water lily pond and a feeding station for the local animals. Friendly staff, who occasionally take a group photo.

Everything is just cozy, fun and delicious. I was at the Blaauwe Kamer during a dinner with music! What a surprise. I went there on my own, because I knew that I could always join someone at the Blaauwe Kamer (just ask of course). Super cozy evening and delicious food. And nice music of course. Afterwards relaxed biked home over the Dijk. Worth repeating.

Had a wonderfully relaxing evening in De Blaauwe Kamer, which is now also a Cultuurplein. Eating from the Eastern kitchen while enjoying wonderful music. The Location is really great, right in the middle of nature. The hospitality of the Eslami family is very nice.

We have eaten here several times in the past few years from the "premium dinner buffet". The previous times we enjoyed it and the children were very enthusiastic. There have been new owners recently and that was clearly noticeable. Unfortunately, that meant a major decline. Several more luxurious dishes such as steak have been removed from the buffet, while in the past they were even served at the table. The ragout tasted like nothing and seemed like mixed powder. And in the play loft half of the equipment was broken, which unfortunately caused disappointed children who had a different frame of reference. By the way, you still have a lot of choice for a reasonable price, so many people will probably find it fine. The location is also beautiful in the nature reserve. But unfortunately we noticed a major decline compared to the last time we went, and certainly do not find the buffet 'premium' anymore.

Last Thursday I had a wonderful lunch at De Blaauwe Kamer. I took the chance not to do something standard and to use their Food of Cultures lunch ... And I am very happy about that! What a taste! I will definitely come back.

Last week we had lunch at this beautiful place in the middle of nature. De Blaauwe Kamer Restaurant & Cultuurplein was recently taken over by new owners and you can immediately notice the difference. The interior has been renovated and it looks great! Very warm and stylish, a real ‘living room feeling’. On social media I had seen that they offer a ‘Worldly lunch’ from Food of Cultures on weekdays between 12:00 and 15:00 for only €15,-. You put together your own plate from a selection of worldly flavours (see photo) and it was delicious!! What a super fun and innovative concept! And the play area upstairs is fantastic, where my son had so much fun! We were also told that they have a new ‘live music’ concept every Thursday evening with a worldly buffet. Changing artists from the area who come to make music at this beautiful place. We will soon come and enjoy the buffet and listen to the music!

Unfortunately, on Father's Day, I had a really bad experience. Too bad, because it was great here a few years ago. When I look at the previous reviews, I see a lot of similarities with my experience. Unfortunately, the waitress made mistakes over and over again, maybe it was her first day or maybe she wasn't having a good day. It started with the question of what the fish of the day was, to which our waitress answered "salmon" with full conviction. After a very long wait, because "something had been turned around in the kitchen", we got our main courses. It was immediately clear that this was definitely not salmon, but a white fish. The response was that she had really noticed that it was salmon, so she couldn't do anything about it. After a few bites it became clear that the fish tasted incredibly strange (bitter) and that it did indeed contain bones. The other waitress had told us that there would be no bones in it and that it would taste like cod. Too bad for us. When we indicated that the dish was not to our taste, we were fortunately allowed to choose something else quickly. This became the vegan burger. This came quite quickly! Unfortunately it only tasted like burnt spinach and the burger was so dry that it fell apart. Very sparsely topped and with a small 'salad' on the side. Before the "salmon incident" had happened, one of us got the extra basket of fries that was ordered with the satay. At that moment there was nothing on the table yet, but our waitress put the fries and 2 mayo on the table anyway. So the fries were already cold before the satay was put on the table much later. When paying, fortunately all the fries were removed from the bill. But unfortunately that was all that could be taken off. The stars I have given are only for the beautiful location. I hope that a big change will take place, perhaps it will then be worth the money.

Mediocre. I found the quality mediocre. Gluten-free options are very poorly indicated, there is a sign somewhere saying gluten/lactose but does that apply to all dishes on this site or ???? As for starters I could eat something but otherwise it was really scarce. I did ask but the answer took a very long time and I was not convinced that it was correct! Due to a language barrier, they also did not understand what I asked. In the end I only had salmon and fries, both of which were lukewarm. The service was friendly.

A rather inconspicuous building from the outside, the interior is nonetheless utterly charming. Beautifully situated on the Old Rhine River. Looking out the large panoramic windows, you can spot koi and wildlife, as the nature reserve extends right there. You can choose between a buffet and a la carte. The service is lovingly assisted by a small robot, who can even sing a birthday song upon request.

We arrived 1.5 hours before closing time and could only choose buffet because the kitchen was understaffed. Since the choice was very limited I can not judge the food although the staff was very friendly and hospitable

Unfortunately had a very bad experience. We had to wait an hour for a toasted sandwich and an omelette. I asked in advance if it was possible to order an extra croquette. This was absolutely not possible because the kitchen could not handle it. The host/owner blamed the staff who were sick and left during work.... (Practice what you preach) Robotics are often used in the restaurant but do not work at all. It only causes more work pressure for the service. All in all not to be repeated. A company that does not function well at all. Too bad, since the location is really great.

When you arrive you have to wait outside and ring the bell, you have to wait a long time before anyone comes, in the end we just went inside, the food was of varying quality, poorly presented plates, unequal portion sizes, no mushroom cream sauce available with the schnitzel, the wine list was closed, crockery and cutlery not properly clean, greasy haze, dirty floor, the children were not given any coins to play with.

We visited this restaurant for a family lunch and were immediately impressed by the beautiful setting and tasteful interior. The atmosphere was warm and inviting, and we initially planned to enjoy the buffet. However, we quickly realized it wasn’t suitable for my elderly grandmother, so we opted for the à la carte menu instead. One of our family members has a severe food allergy, which we communicated clearly to the staff. Although they assured us it would be no problem, we had to correct them multiple times throughout the meal. If you have dietary restrictions or allergies, I strongly advise exercising extra caution when dining here. For our main course, we ordered several beef salads. Unfortunately, they didn’t meet our expectations. When we raised this with the staff, the response was confusing. The waitress took the salads back, and the owner came to speak with us, acknowledging that the dish did not meet his standards either. As a gesture of goodwill, he offered us some items from the buffet while we waited for replacements. However, shortly afterward, the waitress returned and contradicted the owner, implying that nothing was wrong with the original salads and that we shouldn’t expect significant changes. This left us unsure of what to expect. When the salads were brought back, the only noticeable difference was the addition of a soup garnish—mint leaves and spring onion—which didn’t complement the Asian-inspired dish and felt out of place. We spoke with the owner again, who suggested we help ourselves to the buffet instead. By then, we no longer felt like continuing the meal. He offered to remove the three beef salads from our bill, but when the check arrived, only two had been deducted. After a brief conversation, the final salad was removed, but by that point, the experience had soured. While we recognize the staff made efforts to address the situation, the communication was inconsistent and ultimately left us disappointed. What was meant to be a special celebration sadly fell short of expectations.

Had reserved 3 days in advance. Then you would think that you would get a nice spot. Upon arrival we got the very last discarded round table inside in the corner. The terrace was apparently not for reserving. Then I ask myself... what am I reserving for? We also wondered what the staff does there exactly. Asked twice if there was a spot available outside. Got the answer twice: You have to look for yourself. Sorry but you work here, don't you??!!. In short, extremely unfriendly and poorly organized.

1x plaice filleted tasteless, 1x satay bad, made from chicken thighs fried too hard? 2x Asparagus badly cooked not done, we got new Asparagus on a plate next to it again the same bad. So no attacker.

On Mother's Day I took both my own mother and my son's mother for an extensive lunch buffet. The service upstairs was a wonderful dry idiot who took good care of the guests with a lot of humor. The little one hardly ate and ran around in the play paradise. The dishes were all really tasty and the regular toppings were not spared. The gratitude of the ladies afterwards made this Mother's Day a party for me and my father too! Situated on a beautiful nature reserve, where you can spot birds, cattle, horses and other game with a lovely walk. Ideal to burn off the food in a pleasant way.

We waren met z'n vieren in de Blaauwe Kamer. Sinds de overname voelt het als een plek met nieuwe energie. Bij binnenkomst merk je het verschil: je wordt echt gezien als gast. We aten heerlijk van de nieuwe verkorte menukaart, waar met aandacht is gekozen voor gerechten uit de wereldkeuken. Ik had gekozen voor een broodje tofu roerei met Italiaans brood. Heerlijk ! Fijn om te merken dat er bezieling in zit. We komen binnenkort graag terug.

Dinner buffet. Starters okay, main course limited, desserts top. Lots of fish, no beef, but chicken satay.

Great food but I waited over an hour for my food. I have also received something different than what I ordered several times. If you come here, go for lunch or the buffet. Ordering from the menu is not recommended here. After all this I received a free dessert as compensation

Beautiful location, large and spacious. Extensive menu but prices are on the high side. Think between 10 and 20 euros for a simple dish. Ambiance is nice, clean and staff and service robots friendly.

Mother's Day brunch done at the blue room. Food and juices were not replenished regularly. Very busy in the area where the food is served. What is good is the children's room where the children can do their thing. Extra coins are pricey.

Beautiful location for a relaxing cup of coffee, the very extensive and tasty buffet or, for example, a family party. You park your car or bicycle right in front of the door and may think 'what an unpleasant place', but then be surprised by the sun terrace on the other side of the building with a beautiful view of the river and landscape. Tip for the owner: the pond could use some maintenance.

Mooie locatie maar is een vreetschuur! Bij het raam zit je nog goed maar iets verder in de zaak heel erg donker. Meer dan 30min op 2 broodjes zalm en uitsmijter ham/kaas op bruin brood moeten wachten. Broodjes ok maar ipv uitsmijter kregen we een tosti. Teruggegeven en bediending vroeg nog wit of bruin brood? Bruin! Na 10 min kwam de uitsmijter op Wit! brood. Hoe moeilijk kan het zijn. Weer terug en weer wachten. De broodjes zalm waren inmiddels al op. Helaas geen excuus of drankje minder op de bon. Leek net of ze het heel normaal vonden. Niet erg klantgericht! Slechte zaak hoor. Later vele slecht reviews gelezen. Voor ons geen 2e keer

Had a lovely lunch here last week on the terrace with a beautiful view! It was very hot and we asked for a parasol, which was set up immediately, even though it was a challenge to get it into the air properly. It was very busy, so it took a little longer before we got lunch, but the staff took good care of us with, among other things, a sandwich and olives on the house. The Oriental steak salad had a tasty twist with the mint through it. This is probably the positive influence of the new owners who are enthusiastic and work hard to make the location an even more beautiful place with tasty and good food. We will definitely come back to taste all the progress!

Vreselijk, Wij zijn binnengekomen en gelijk weggegaan! Gees sfeer ongezellig echt een vreetscheur! Menu van niks kom je beter in een friet tent uit. Echte vergissing! Niet doen!

I think there is a new owner. Last year there was much more choice and better food

Fantastisch buffet en warme gastvrijheid! Onlangs hebben we met ons gezin genoten van een heerlijke avond bij Panorama Restaurant De Blaauwe Kamer in Wageningen. Wat een prachtige locatie met een sfeervol uitzicht! Het buffet was uitgebreid en vers, met voor ieder wat wils van smaakvolle voorgerechten tot verrukkelijke desserts. De warme en hartelijke gastvrijheid viel direct op; het personeel was vriendelijk, attent en zorgde ervoor dat we ons meteen welkom voelden. Zeker een plek waar we graag nog eens terugkomen!
