Loved the atmosphere and the vibe. We seat outside and the weather was nice. The food was good and the staff friendly

I always liked the place, being in the park. I see it is temporary closed is this for a long time ?

€4 for a 'babychino' pushed it over the edge for me. A few good members of staff but quite a few seemed like they were doing you a favour. We asked for water, it didn't come so we reminded the server and she told us to ask the lady that took the order. We told her we already had. She reluctantly went and got the water but came back with no glasses. We asked for glasses and she rolled her eyes and went and finally got them. Took quite a while to order and get seated. Food was decent, location is great, service is poor and the price of milk is a joke.

Great view and place for drinks. They also have great food options on the menu. Recommend

Was here for a wedding party. How cool is it to celebrate your wedding in a historic place like this in the middle of Amsterdam!

Atrocious service. Waited 45 minutes for a virgin mojito. We asked 3 people who just said "oh it's busy" until the 4th person went to check. No apology from the team. I've been sober for 5 years and they put alcohol in my mocktail. No care for their customers, with waiters on their phone and not wanting to serve. Pathetic.

The two stars are for atmosphere alone. For the lack of service we received, as we used the QR code on the tables, a 20% service charge was added to the bill. Bringing 2 coffees and sparkling water to a whopping €25. As the main terrace is outdoors, one can expect birds flying around. What one may not expect is, Pigeons walking all over the outdoor kitchen area. Traipsing their filthy claws over the cutlery you will be using if you order food. Picturesque as it may be on a sunny day. Do not be fooled by the attraction of the sunny terrace, it is a rip off. S

Nice area to sit down in by the park. I ordered through a QR code on the table. Staff didn’t approach us after being seated for 10 minutes so I had no choice. The food looked good but the pigeons were walking all over the cutlery and tables which was worrying. I only had some coffees and water which came to about €18. I went to pay and the total ended up being €25. Absolutely no problem paying for a service charge but not when you don’t receive the service.

2 aprospritz 27€???? I say the folder says €11 per person, she says that folder is not ours????????????????????? What a scam, just paid €27!!!!*map is not ours* no from Sinterklaas or did she steal the €5 herself!!! Extra in her pocket????????????

We were pleasantly surprised by the quality of our dishes. The poke bowl and the goat cheese sandwich were delicious and a feast for the eyes. Drinks were excellent, too. Location and view are great. The tables and chairs aren't the most comfortable.

On a beautiful Saturday we walked past this terrace and thought it must be packed. But there was plenty of room and we went for lunch, very pleasantly surprised! A delicious, generous tuna salad, where the emphasis was on tuna instead of blobs of mayonnaise, with a bite of tuna! If it even had mayonnaise in it. Spelled bread on a delicious malt. My husband ate avocado toast, nice lightly toasted bread with egg and avocado. Young service, but extremely neat and friendly, so nice that it still exists, pleasant service! In short, I really enjoyed it, absolutely recommended, top location. We will definitely come back.

Food is very basic but good and you can’t beat the park view! It’s incredible on a sunny day to seat outside and enjoy a nice drink or have lunch!

You are ignored by the staff. You should order via QR code, but not all tables have one. Several service staff did not respond to hand signals, nor did they give any instructions on how to order. Left again after 20 minutes. Not recommendable.

Didn’t order food but very nice central location in Vondel Park and fast polite service. Drinks were standard.

The venue looks nice but employees don't very care much about service.

If you have reserved a dinner for 15 people for a round birthday and this is canceled the day before (because of the weather?!): you really didn't understand it! We will skip your terrace from now on. Complete mismanagement of this case!

Only thing going for them is the view. Food is old and tastes bad and if you tell the manager they argue and refuse to accept it. Pathetic service and food. Just come here for a beer as it’s pre made and leave.

Beautiful building in Vondel park. The terrace is calm and relaxing to sit in the warm period for lunch, dinner ir just coffee. Inside there is a restaurant and film halls. It is spacious to host a group event. Menu has varieties. Easy access to transport.

Floor and Jessica helped us very well during our lunch. We were with a large group (40 people) but the service was very good! Friendly staff and they think about our wishes. We will definitely come here for our team lunch next time.

A peaceful place to drink coffee in front of a beautiful historical building located in Vondelpark. Our order arrived approximately 5-10 minutes after placing the order online via QR code. Coffees are nice. A nice place to view the park.

Catering industry in Amsterdam, you have to order yourself... no one comes by to ask if you want something to eat...

The food is a total disappointment! the place is great just for drinks.

Location is beautiful, cannot get better than that on a sunny day. They have huge place, not sure why they prefer to open only some of it and create a line of expecting guests. The burger (pic) was ok, the lemonade (with something red) is excellent!!!

They are a 0 in customer service and the application they use to order is a disaster, if you chose to see the menu in a language that you feel comfortable with but they don't, then they don't give you the instructions for each dish. Having explained this, I went from ordering a hamburger and since they didn't specify anything about it, I got a lentil hamburger and I asked for it to be changed and they told me no, because it was my fault. They explained to me that the details of the dishes were not in my language because they "DID NOT KNOW WHAT TO PUT". Full 21st century year 2024, don't you know how to google a translation? If I ordered the other burger I had to pay for both because through their system they did not have the possibility of canceling an order if something had been ordered it had to be paid for, but in this case if you realize that you do not have a translation available and just If this confusion happens, you can let it go and next time you can find someone to put the details into all the translations. An experience to be forgotten unfortunately

Very pleasant terrace on the park. Good value for money given the magnificent setting and the prices charged in Amsterdam. The Bénédicte bun is a delight.

Beautiful place to have a coffee, tea or a bite to eat before you head into Vondelpark in Amsterdam. Clever ordering and payment, all via your phone just by scanning the QR on the table.

Service below zero. We ordered drinks through the app. Nothing arrived. We then ordered to the waiter. Only one drink arrived. This is basic stuff really ... Also a few meters from our table there was a big actual piece of defecation. Disgusting and unacceptable (I tried to post the actual picture but got notification that the post couldn't posted due to offensive material! Yet we had this few meters from where we were eating!). Update March 2024: still no improvement

We sat down to drink water and coffee. We were able to communicate with the waiter after 15 minutes and the waiter said that we could only order online with a QR code. We placed the order and half an hour later we were able to drink our water (it does not say that there is water in the menu, only the brand). So, in order to drink a bottle of water in this cafe, you have to struggle for 45 minutes and be successful.

They are very rude. You have to wait for everything. No one cares you

I decided to take a group of parents of autistic children for a small gathering after having finished a course. Parking with a bike is obviously very easy, with ParkZuid being at the middle of Vondelpark, and all the participants easily knew how to get there. The people at ParkZuid treated us wonderfully. After explaining the context via email, they arranged a separate area for us, and constantly checked if we were doing ok, if we wanted to have additional space, or if we needed more food and drinks. Everyone was always available and close by to add items to our order. I would definitely come back, and do not regret having chosen ParkZuid for this event!

What a horrible place. Poor/no service, young service so no experience. Antisocial and unhelpful. Go sit somewhere else in the sun

The restaurant is located inside Vondelpark. The ambience is cozy and warm. A great place to have brunch/coffee/lunch with your bestie and catchup 😊 We ordered coffee, soup and chicken panini.. more than enough for 2 people

Top tent! Personeel relatief jong maar komt erg ervaren over! Aardig benaderd en drankjes en eten snel gekregen, op een mooi terras. Kom hier zeker terug!

Très joli restaurant situé dans le très agréable Vondelpark. Sa petite terrasse nous a permis de passer un moment agréable après une balade dans le parc. Nous avons décidé d'y manger pour le cadre et les petits plats simples proposés nous ont convaincu. Un bon moment, dans un beau cadre, que demander de plus?

Locatie en het eten niks op aan te merken, zeer mooie ligging en zeer lekker gegeten. Jammer dat de sfeer door het personeel redelijk daalt. Er waren genoeg personeelsleden die onze bestellingen hadden kunnen opnemen, maar die ons gewoon compleet negeerden. Na eindstand onze bestelling via de QR te doen, kregen we nog redelijk arrogante blikken op een fout die ze zelf hebben gedaan. Ook vond ik het bestek persoonlijk er niet zo proper uit zien.

It's a nice atmosphere when the weather allows you to sit in the garden, enjoy the sun, and the view. I have been there two times and it was quite easy to find a table even without booking in advance. You can find sandwiches, salads and drinks on the menu. The price is slightly higher compared to the places around.

Dry bread, unfriendly service, rude waiters. A park as beautiful as this definately deserves a better restaurant. There was at least one waiter who apologized for the slow time, thanks to that person.

Leuke tent bij het vondelpark. Je kan hier bij mooi weer heerlijk op het terras zitten en genieten van het park. Of je zit binnen. Redelijke keuze van de kaart.

Sehr schön mit gutem schnellen Personal, alle sehr freundlich und höflich. Preise völlig in Ordnung. Pizza köstlich und Burger auch. Saubere Toiletten.

Onbeleefd personeel. Botte behandeling, ook van buitenlanders, waardoor je je plaatsvervangend schaamt. Ze spreken iedereen aan zonder beleefdheidsvorm, er kan geen 'please' of 'thank you' af en mensen worden niet gedag gezegd bij hun vertrek. Tenenkrommende Hollands botheid. Ik zou mijn personeel opvoeden... zeker op zo'n toplocatie

Really nice place to sit and eat and have some cocktails. We had the nachos, they were lovely. You can also sit on swing-like chairs which I thought was nice. Lovely atmosphere and even nicer staff.

Tolle Location. Ruhig im Grünen gelegen. Freundlicher Service. Der Taboulé-Salat war leider etwas trocken und fad. Die Salamipizza war dafür sehr lecker und käsig, allerdings für den Preis recht klein.

They took very long to do anything. We didn't get our drinks after one hour of waiting. But the cake was delicious!

Everything is great! Especially recommend fried chicken (starter) But for lovers of espresso martini - not the best place for it 6/10 3 glasses rose/ spark water, 2 esp martini and 3 starters

Wij hadden een restaurantreservering. + Sandwich geitenkaas luxe opgediend + Eten was lekker + Dicht bij de musea’s ~ Op het toilet nog een poster van het wintermenu, dit is iemand vergeten weg te halen… ~ Toiletten kunnen frisser ruiken, geen aangename geur als daar binnenkomt. Zijn geurstokjes of een automatische geursprayer een idee? ~ Wij waren er op een bewolkte dag, we miste licht in het restaurant. Een paar extra lampjes aan doen op zulke dagen zou een verschil maken. Ik zou niet terugkomen in het restaurant, wellicht wel het terras als het zonnig is.

We went t Park Zuid for coffee and dessert late afternoon. We sat down in the garden area. The waitress was very polite. We ordered coffee and carrot cake and apple tart. They were both great! Apple tart was not sweet, it was just enough. The carrot cake also had less sugar. It had a cream with cheese on top and in the middle of two layers. It was not heavy at all. We have not tried any other meals but just for those two dessert, we would go back again.

We experienced an accident in which one of the table umbrellas flew off and hurt a person at the table next to it on the head. I rushed to the scene to see if the person had suffered any serious injuries. The staff took little or no action; I had to ask for ice cubes and a towel to reduce the swelling on the head. The staff took little or no further action. I also received no thanks afterwards, even though it ended well for the customer in question. In addition, we ourselves had to call the waiter several times to take our order. The latter took an unusually long time, and furthermore did not order everything we had asked for. The waiter in question (blond lady) was not friendly and brought us a bill charging for the order we had not received. They will never see me back at this place.

Красиве місце у парку Вондела. Але постійно зайняте. Офіціанти стараються, але нам принесли холодну картоплю. І, коли хотіли замовити десерт, доступний був тільки яблучний пиріг.

Personeel passeerde ons meerdere keren met lege handen voordat we een plekje aangewezen kregen, vervolgens zijn we helemaal achter in een donkere hoek gezet terwijl het lekker zonnig was. De tafel was niet schoongemaakt en werd ook niet later gedaan, op de stoel zat een grote klodder vogelpoep op, na erg aandringen is dit toch schoongemaakt. Service was erg opdringerig, amper de kans gekregen om de menukaart te bekijken, aangegeven dat we nog even tijd nodig hadden kwam de medewerker na 2 minuten alweer terug. Geen aanrader.

Beau restaurant bien situé très agréable dans le Vondelpark. La terrasse ombragée est assez accueillante. Nous nous y sommes arrêtés pour grignoter dans l'après midi. Les snacks étaient de qualité! Dommage que le service ne soit pas aussi agréable que le lieu.

A unique restaurant since it is in the middle of Vondelpark. You have pretty views all around you. The food is just very good, it's not as good as some of the super 'hip' brunch places in Amsterdam, but it still super tasty really. The waiter was very kind and on request even altered a dish on the menu slightly for us! The apple pie as a dessert was also a delight!
