I really wonder how this restaurant even gets a decent rating. The food is poorly prepared and resembles a simple microwave meal. The pizzas are soggy. The wait times are long, and it seems they'd rather let in too many people than provide good service. I'd been here a few years ago, and it wasn't great then either. I gave it a second chance, but alas, it's still disappointing. A 45-minute wait for a drink and about an hour and a half per course. Obviously, there won't be a third time.

We had a delicious meal at a Shark Table. Initially, we were a bit disappointed because we had to wait a long time for our tickets and drinks... but that was soon made up for by the very friendly and pleasant service and an amuse-bouche.

Lasagna tasted like ready-made supermarket food, just like the sandwich beforehand. Service took a very long time. However, it's a nice location.

We planned a quick dinner, so we went to a chain store. We left at 6 and got home after 10 (a fifteen-minute drive). It was busy, but each dish took 1-2 hours. Some people arrived and left an hour later, while others waited even longer than us. The food was excellent.

Terrible staff. You have to wait 16 minutes for someone to come to you, then you're told you can't order from her. The four staff members are happy to look around and do nothing. They'd rather clear tables than help customers. There were five tables waiting, but yuck! The last people in are served first. Even the owner ignores you and sits next to your table, flirting with the ladies next to you. They can't really clean there, so no way I'll ever eat there!

Very bad: made a reservation for a group, had to wait an incredibly long time, pizzas were not baked properly, skipped part of the group menu, were completely fed up with waiting.

Worst carbonara ever also very bad service provided by a lot of non-professional (apparently) people. Who runs this place? Maybe she or he needs to sit one day as a customer and enjoy the experience!!

Since teenagers started working at this restaurant, the quality of service has noticeably declined. Even though it was quiet, no one came to our table, and I had to find a waitress myself. We ordered an appetizer and a pizza—the appetizer didn't arrive for 30 minutes, and the pizza wasn't even passed on to the kitchen. We finally received our food at 10:10 PM, even though we arrived at 7:30 PM.

The food was delicious, but the service was terrible. Staff don't make eye contact with customers, making it nearly impossible to place your order. We also ordered dessert, and after waiting an hour and a half, it still hadn't arrived. Terrible!

Friendly staff in a relaxed atmosphere. The food is delicious and reasonably priced. The pizzas are large and well-filled, the pasta is ample and flavorful, and the rump steak with pepper sauce was also good. The terrace tables offer a wide view of the sea, and inside there's a large aquarium with sharks, among other things. A great place for a good dinner.

Whenever we go there, we always eat at the Pavarotti ice cream parlor.

I found the pasta dishes very tasty. The sauce for the scampi pasta was particularly delicious. The piña colada was the best I've ever had.

We typically look for restaurants that are not chains or have multiple locations, but while craving a seafood pasta(pasta vongole)this was the only restaurant within a 20 km drive that had it on the menu. After self ordering drinks via QR code(they looked to be short staffed) we were told by the waitress that the seafood pasta was no longer offered and was not sure why it was still on the menu, especially since it had not been offered for quite sometime. Of course I was disappointed, but was hungry. We both ordered a different pasta and both had zero flavor. As I looked at the other tables I saw half finished plates. Not sure if it was an off-night for the kitchen, but be aware that the high star rating might be tied to the ice cream parlor and not the restaurant itself. We will certainly avoid it in the future.

I went with my children, the oldest 13, the second 11, and the third 4. We wanted to sit next to the aquarium. They said we'd have to pay more. When I accepted, they refused. They said it was booked. I knew it was a lie. I didn't object. I decided to sit at a table for four. My children were happy. We waited for service. After we decided what to eat, no host came to us. I saw a family ask to sit at the aquarium table and welcome them. We waited for over half an hour. After 40 minutes, someone came next to us, but he asked about other people, and we got up and left. The service was very poor. Many friends from neighboring countries came to us. I wouldn't recommend them. There were no different, strange, or difficult dishes. I wouldn't go back. I wouldn't recommend them. I was sad and cried for two nights. I'm a beautiful woman, and I was kind and polite. I have money, but they don't deserve to visit.

Yesterday we eat here with 4 people. It was really amazing. The food, the service, the people, location. It was one of the best experiences i had in a longtime when it comes to breakfast/lunch. Fabulous people. I recommed this place to everyone!!

A restaurant can also be too big. The food was very mediocre. The pasta sauce with fungi resembled mushrooms boiled in water and was tasteless. The pizzas were reasonably good. Overall, not really the quality you'd expect from Italian cuisine. It feels more like a fast-food joint than an Italian restaurant. Too bad. No next time for us.

Delicious ice cream in a beautiful place!

Well, this is a disgrace to Italian cuisine. Don't eat pasta here at all! Never experienced such bad service before. No cutlery after food was served, no wait staff when you needed it, and they left the pasta because, sorry, it really wasn't good, it was very mushy. The service was grumpy. A week later we went to the next door restaurant, Dune, I believe. That was really good, highly recommended! Nice, cheerful service and a super delicious meal.

We dined with a group to celebrate a birthday. Most of us were dissatisfied with the food. I enjoyed my meal. For that reason, 3 stars.

They keep alive sharks in a tiny tank in the restaurant its horrible animal cruelty they keep swimming in circles its so sad dont fund this place!!!

The shark sites are really great to book for a special occasion with children. So much fun!

A great place to go out with family, friends, or for a romantic dinner for two. The service is very friendly and welcoming. The food is fantastic. An added bonus is that you can bring your dog here! I wholeheartedly recommend it.

We regularly eat at Pavarotti Kijkduin. We ate there again last week. We always go back because the food is delicious. I just really dread using the restrooms. Sorry, but come on!!! Nice place, good food, and then such filthy restrooms. I lifted the toilet seat for my son, and everything was yellow, dark, and sticky. This clearly wasn't a one-day affair. I'd seen the restrooms dirty before, but I figured it could happen because they were so busy. This time it was quiet, and no matter what I said, you could clearly see it wasn't a one-day affair. It's a real shame for your appetite.

Highly recommended! The food is truly delicious, and the shark tables are super fun for the little ones! The service was excellent and super friendly; they gave my daughter an unforgettable birthday.

I order for delivery from them so have no rating on the atmosphere and that stars are not relevant.

Last Saturday I was here to celebrate my 30th anniversary with friends and family. It was, in a word, fantastic... I wanted drinks with snacks, etc. From the preliminary discussions, I could choose from several options, and they were very helpful. All the way to the execution... The food, the service, and the seating on the terrace... Absolutely fantastic... They communicated with me the entire evening... My guests kept telling me all evening that you did a great job... it's absolutely fantastic... Well, that compliment is entirely due to the entire Pavarotti Kijkduin team... my family and I will definitely be back... And regarding the budget... There's something for everyone... You can make it as crazy as you want. Absolutely fantastic...!!!!!!

We ate at a shark table pizza restaurant. Super fresh, delicious pizza. The shark table is an extra 10 euros, but if you have kids, it's definitely worth it. Some entertainment.

I was here with my mom and dad. We were greeted quickly and shown to a table. Despite it being busy, there was plenty of room. The menu is double-sided, which is handy if you want to browse together, but it also means you often have to flip back and forth: "Wait, what did that just say?" Inside, there's a fun aquarium with fish and even a shark! You have to pay extra to sit next to the aquarium, but it's definitely a fun experience. The service was friendly, and we were helped quickly. I opted for the Italian burger, but unfortunately, it wasn't my best choice. The buns were very soggy and not crispy at all. The burger itself was quite red on the inside. Not raw, but something to keep in mind if, like me, you don't like your burger cooked rare. One positive note was the wide selection of desserts, especially for those with a sweet tooth! All in all, I give the restaurant 4 stars.

The cocktails are delicious and well-prepared. I do feel they're often understaffed; you often have to wait a long time to be seated, and there's an older woman walking around who isn't very friendly. Fortunately, the rest of the staff is.

It took a while before we were noticed and our drinks were taken. It's a nice place with friendly staff in a pleasant location. In good weather, you can sit on the terrace, which has plenty of space both inside and outside. The food (pizza) was excellent. All in all, we had a great meal.

We both went home with stomachache after eating here. The salmon starter and the tiramisu for dessert were fine. But the pastas were really not tasty at all, not cooked, bland in taste. When you chewed the pasta it turned into a dough ball in your mouth, not recommended!

My husband's ice cream (2 scoops) fell apart. He asked for a bowl at the ice cream parlor, but in the meantime I was standing outside with 2 melting ice creams and a 2 year old child with a melting ice cream. No new ice cream was offered. What a *** service! It varies greatly per employee whether you get a good amount of ice cream or not. The difference is clearly visible per employee. So far, the last 2 times I have had ice creams that melted very quickly. It seems that the temperature is too high (perhaps to save energy costs). There is always a long line, but both times that we last went there I regretted it afterwards! A melting ice cream in your hands and stained clothes is not what you are looking for when you go to get an ice cream at Kijkduin.

On June 2, Monique and I celebrated our 40th wedding anniversary here with family and best friends. There were eighteen of us and we enjoyed everything! It started at the long table, which filled the dance floor and from which we had a beautiful view of that phenomenal aquarium. Then, manager Mike took care of us and our guests. We couldn't have had it better. He turned out to be a professional with old-fashioned qualities and modern views. The food was unearthly delicious. I had the Risotto Balls as a starter. Because we had already dined at Pavarotti Leidschendam, I already knew how delicious this dish is and it felt like a greeting from an old friend. As a main course, I chose the Cod in a Creamy Saffron Sauce. If there were any transgressive steps above the most delicious, I would use them here. Super fresh fish and a sauce that was so well balanced that I put the plate to my mouth to be able to enjoy the last bit of that deliciousness. The Grand Dessert was also of a very high standard. The Red Velvet in particular was of an unprecedentedly high standard. Because the eye was also always being feasted on, the choice was made to place the dessert on beautiful planks between the guests. That looked nice and was also practical. Too bad I can only give a maximum of five stars. They deserve considerably more. Pavarotti Kijkduin turned out to be an absolute must!

I’m writing to express my disappointment with the service during my recent visit. When I made my reservation, I specifically requested an outdoor table with couch seating and noted this politely in the online booking. Upon arrival, I asked two members of staff if we could sit at one of the shaded corner tables that were clearly unoccupied. I was told those tables were reserved for parties of four or more. However, shortly after we were seated, we saw those exact tables given to couples and groups of two—which directly contradicted what we were told. That was both frustrating and unfair. In addition, the overall service was slow and inattentive, despite there being at least 6 to 10 staff visibly present. We had to wait an unnecessarily long time just to have our food order taken. To make matters worse, while the main course dishes are still our table , dessert was brought out without our dinner plates even being cleared. We had to ask for them to be removed, and only one plate (which we had requested to be packed) was taken, while the dirty plate remained on the table. It could have easily been cleared at the same time. This experience fell far below reasonable expectations. I hope this feedback is taken seriously and that appropriate steps are taken to ensure better service and customer consideration in the future.

We came with a group of 13 + 2 children to eat via Social Deal. We were received nicely. Social deal menu choice looked great. Wide choice of pastas and pizzas. Starter and dessert also fine. Tasty cocktails and mocktails. Despite the crowds during dinner time, we were treated well by the staff. We were assigned a permanent waiter, which was nice, who took our wishes every now and then.

We used to eat regularly at Gina's but since it became Pavarotti's local food quality has gone downhill, last two times ordered pasta with salmon and got pain! Pain that lasted 3 days! We think it's a shame!

Delicious gluten-free pizzas. You can choose all pizzas with a gluten-free base (they go in the same oven as the other pizzas). They also have gluten-free pasta, but I have never tried it (pizza lover).

We went last Friday with friends. I had sweet potato fries, tempura shrimps these were delicious. pasta aglio e olio lacked some salt otherwise tasty. Espresso martini was top tasty and strong. Tiramisu was divine. It was very busy staff remained friendly, tables were not cleared because of this. On the website that ice cream parlor open until 2 o'clock, but unfortunately it closed earlier.

Despite the fact that there were more than enough staff walking around, no one paid attention to us. We had to ask for attention ourselves in order to even be able to place an order – something that is unacceptable in a restaurant. The starter – bruschetta and focaccia e crudo – was very tasty, but before our plates had even been cleared, the main course was already put on the table. This gave a hurried, uninterested impression. In addition, we were never asked if we wanted something else to drink, even though our glasses had been empty for quite some time. The main course itself tasted good, but neither of us could finish it. More than half of it remained, which says a lot to us. The service did not seem to notice or do anything about it. As if that was not enough, even the checkout process was chaotic. Two staff members literally walked away from us when we wanted to pay. We seriously considered just getting up and leaving the restaurant. Eventually we got an apology, but that was it – no resolution, no compensation, no involvement. What should have felt like a relaxing evening out by the sea turned into a frustrating experience. Not a second time for us.

the food was not bad but the service was awful. we waited 2.5 hours for our food and they treated us very badly. their staff don't even know how to serve the food and how to treat the people. the manager also treated us very badly and tried to justify their bad service.
