Pavarotti Leiden in Binnenstad-Noord

We ate there and really enjoyed it! The food was decent and tasty, however, we were seated right next to the bar with harsh blue LED lighting. The ambiance could have been better. The service was excellent, and our waitress, Bibi, was very friendly and spoke excellent English. We would definitely come back.

They were unfriendly, but the food was fine.

First visit to this location; the service by Bibi was definitely an added value.

Bibi was a great waitress for our table. The food was amazing and the kids loved her nails.

It wasn't necessarily gross, but it wasn't good either. My burger was overcooked.

The Calzone was inedible. It was a clumsy piece of dough with a chunk of ham inside and cheese that looked like chewing gum with a strong, weird aftertaste. It seemed like the cheese was past its expiration date. I also missed the pizza seasoning. My friend had pasta, but that had that weird cheesy taste too. Another friend had a burger that wasn't anything special either. Absolutely not recommended. You will never see me back here again!

Reasonable dining experience that is a nice option for groups.

Rawan is the best waitress, top service

Rawan provided us with excellent service; it was a truly fantastic evening thanks to her.

Rawan is a really top-notch waitress, and the food is delicious! I definitely recommend this place.

Rawan is a really nice girl, good service! The food was tasty too!

Delicious food and good service, thanks Lisa!

Delicious ice cream! The girl behind the bar was also super polite and sweet! Thank you Esra!!!

Super cozy atmosphere, quick service, and a beautiful place

Thanks to Lisa, had a great evening at the karaoke. Well-maintained venue, friendly staff, and therefore a good evening.

Great beer and Floris is a great delivery driver

We had a super delicious meal, Lisa was a super nice waitress

I thought it was a super fun and delicious evening; what a clean and cozy place this is!!!

Very fun karaoke rooms! Drinks and food are also nice! Will come back :))

So i went here with my kid to eat, food very salty, insects in the pizza box as well. Dont go here! Its nasty place ive ever been.

Normally, it is always delicious when I order pizza with a gluten-free crust at Pavarotti, and I have no complaints about my intolerance. This time, however, it was different. The pizza already tasted a bit odd, but I had specifically ordered a gluten-free pizza, and that was not what I ate. The next day my suspicion was confirmed, and I suffered all day. I don't even have severe celiac disease where cross-contamination is OK, so it really must have been a gluten-containing crust. I don't know if I dare order here again.

My friend and I visited Pavarotti on Sunday evening (6.9.2026) around 10:00 PM. While we were eating, we were shocked to see a MOUSE running inside the restaurant. When we brought this to the attention of the staff, the waitress nonchalantly confirmed that having mice is a common issue in Leiden. She told us not to worry because all their ingredients are kept sealed in metal containers. I am not sure what the local health and safety authority would think about this, but it is certainly far from hygienic. We paid our bill and left immediately without finishing our meal out of sheer disgust. I definitely would not recommend eating here until they resolve this issue.

The best Italian restaurant in Leiden

The pasta and dessert were delicious, but the prawn bruschetta arrived upside down. Everything was delicious, but perhaps there could be more sauce with the pasta.

We went here with 11 people for karaoke and everything was really well organized and it was a lot of fun! The space is definitely big enough for 11. Highly recommended!

Ordered delivery from here for the first time via Thuisbezorgd and we were not disappointed! Tasty pizza with plenty of toppings. The service was really super, we had great people on the phone, and the super friendly, polite delivery driver Dylan made us very happy. We will definitely order from here again!

Beautiful restaurant and friendly service

The food was fine, and the staff did their utmost. The restaurant looks stunning and is very large! Actually, too large, which means the tables aren't fully occupied and you miss out on the cozy atmosphere. But all in all: great!!

Last weekend, I had a fantastic evening at a karaoke event at Paverotti. Special compliments to the staff when my coat went missing; they handled this very effectively. My coat was returned in perfect condition, and I was able to pick it up two days later. It was very pleasing how the staff took action and were able to resolve the situation.

Always delicious food and friendly delivery drivers, had top service from Mateja yesterday! :)

The staff and location were great! Unfortunately, the food seemed prepared just a little too quickly, which was also reflected in the taste. For example, the garlic was still raw. As a result, the food was unfortunately a bit disappointing.

I have been here many times but today these are my reasons: the service is slow and I have been waiting 30 min so far still not even snacks. Im so mad, so mad pavarotti I knew you better and im not sorry

Had a nice evening, good atmosphere, friendly service. Nice to be able to choose an ice cream for dessert.

Ordered 2 pizzas online for delivery tonight The pizzas arrived quite quickly, so that was great. Unfortunately, the pizzas weren't cut either; we didn't have a pizza cutter at home, hmmm, too bad. After the first bite, the cheese felt quite rubbery and the pizza crust was quite thick and dry, tasteless. We often order pizza somewhere else. And you get a thin pizza, crispy, etc. But this looked like a Domino's pizza. And then the price for a pizza... okay, that’s acceptable, but then you expect a real Italian pizza, not a dry dough disc so thick you could play frisbee with it. Too bad, 35 euros thrown in the trash; it was truly inedible. I don't write bad things often, but these 2 pizzas were very, very bad.

The quality of the food was very good. Top service, nice, fast and most importantly always with a smile on their face. The overall atmosphere was great. I will definitely come back here when I am in Leiden, especially for the pasta. The restaurant was full but on the day we ate there we did not need a reservation.

We made a reservation spontaneously, but it wasn't really necessary at that point. The pizza and pasta were really very good, though the service could have been improved. We sat outside by the canal, and they could have checked on us more often. We certainly would have ordered more drinks. The pizzeria has plenty of indoor seating and is also popular with takeout and delivery customers. The tomato sauce on the pizza was one of the most delicious I've ever had.

What a lovely place to eat on the Nieuwe Rijn. We really enjoyed our evening here immensely. The atmosphere is very pleasant and the pizzas tasted excellent. What struck me most was how fresh everything was. The artichokes and mushrooms on our pizza looked beautiful and tasted just as good. Additionally, the Weihenstephan beer in the beautiful glasses was a perfect addition to the dinner. We will definitely be back here soon for another visit. Highly recommended for anyone visiting Leiden.

Nice little restaurant in the city center! Scored a Social Deal, so a two-course menu for 10 euros. It was great.

I ordered a Schnitzel, it was pork meat and not well done. The meat looked raw. I would never recommend this place.

Excellent service and very friendly assistance from Robbe.

Sang a lovely karaoke with a tasty cocktail and lots of limoncello shots 🥂 Thanks Robbe

Great karaoke bar. Friendly staff. Thanks Robbe

Super fun!!! Lovely night out with the girls. Fantastic karaoke. Pure enjoyment. Thanks to Robbe.

I have eaten here a few times already. The food is amazing, the wine is top-notch, and the staff is friendly and helpful. Highly recommended to eat a pizza or pasta here sometime. (The ice cream parlor next door is also theirs, also highly recommended.)

Very cozy, helpful staff, and well-maintained spaces!

They have amazing food, drinks and karaoke!!!!

Awesome. We had a wonderful meal.

We enjoyed our stay. The weather was nice, so we stayed inside, which meant it was crowded outside and relaxed inside. The food was delicious and the service was very friendly.

Good proper Italian pizza. Sitting outside late at night on uneven pavement wasn’t comfortable. Pasta was great 5/5. Thank you.

A fantastic Italian restaurant that truly deserves a visit. Service was wonderfully attentive, and the food was outstanding, I had the bolognese with tomato sauce and meatballs, and honestly there was nothing to complain about. Prices were very reasonable given the quality on offer. The view over the canal added a lovely touch to the evening, making the whole visit feel special. Despite its rather unassuming exterior, Pavarotti Leiden delivers a genuinely great experience and comes highly recommended for anyone craving Italian food in Leiden. Definitely worth stopping by.

We were here for a night of karaoke and it was super fun, and very good service from Mati and Simon.

A very cozy place to do karaoke. Fast and friendly service, they are happy to help and are also flexible. Highly recommended.

Lisa served us and was incredibly friendly and hospitable. The food was delicious and the ice creams were delightful. Thanks for the great service!

Great food, good service, and a nice atmosphere! And great karaoke!

Lisa is the best! A place that adapts to changing circumstances and has a wide range of offerings. The karaoke after dinner was really great. Had a lovely evening here. Highly recommended!

Pizza quattro formaggio was inedible. The cheese could be pulled off the base in a thick layer. The thick layer of cheese came loose from the base as soon as I cut it. It felt like chewing gum. Starters were good.

We had a reservation for 10 people. After a 20-minute wait, a server finally arrived. The reserved table was still dirty. It was very dark and incredibly noisy. We were offered another table in the very large area at the other end of the restaurant. This was where the pizzas were delivered, and it was extremely busy. It was also very uncomfortable. We unfortunately had to leave.

just received my order for pasta chicken alfredo...not only is it good, but the delivery might be the quickest i've experienced in my 25 years of living in Leiden. needed to edit the review to say the dish was VERY good...NOT swimming in cream. flavors nicely balanced...much appreciated...

Truly Italian, great food. Could have used a dust cloth here and there, though.

The employee I spoke to was nice and sociable! Unfortunately, though, she did say that my order is sitting on the counter waiting for a delivery person… In other words, my order is arriving cold. They really need to find a different delivery method because this is my first and last time ordering!!!!!! What a terrible place to order from!

Best Pizzas in Leiden! Also delivered, always hot and delicious

We were served by Robbe, great! Fast and friendly, excellent!

The food was very good; we sat right by the water. The ice cream parlor next door was simply fantastic.

The pizza tastes good, although the prosciutto was probably just regular ham. The delivery arrives in a reasonable amount of time.

Had a delicious meal, helped by Pilar :)

Pilar helped us very well and the food was delicious.

They handle allergies very skillfully. The staff is well-informed regarding alternatives for people with cow's milk allergy. My son loves the Bambino pizza with vegan cheese.

Simon helped us and gave us advice. Thanks to him, we had a very pleasant experience! We will definitely return more often because we found it to be a very nice restaurant.

Had a super fun evening with my girlfriends and the bartender Simon was really super nice.

Lively terrace, polite service, but the pizzas were not good.

Chill atmosphere, decent food however a very rude and unfriendly waitress who left us in attended for a long period of time and had a bad attitude overall

Mati is a star Rawan is a sweetheart

Very good atmosphere, our waitress Lisa served us very well and also came to check if everything was to our liking. So thanks to her!

Had a delicious meal on the sunny terrace and was served wonderfully by Lisa! She took her time and had a lovely chat! I definitely recommend Pavarotti!

Lisa is a top waitress, delicious food

Helped by Pilar and Ninah, it was fun.

Helped by Ninah and Pilar, the service was really top-notch.

We had a delicious meal and Pilar and Ivan helped us well ❤️

Great food here and a cozy atmosphere. Karaoke was also really fun! Especially a special shout out to Pilar, we were helped really well!

Good and fast service, they took the karaoke into account a lot. Nicely served by Pilar.

We were served by Pilar and she took good care of us. Great tip to order the tropical homemade lemonade! The food was on the table quickly and they took the karaoke start time into account.

We had a delicious meal and especially good service from Pilar, what a star!!

It's always super fun and cozy to have a drink and sing songs here with friends!

Had a great evening in the karaoke booth. Nice staff, especially Simon, our host.

Had a really great experience here, Simon made the evening!

Pilar was great and we enjoyed a lot!

Tasty pizza and fast delivery! Gijs the delivery guy was a star.

Good service, friendly welcome, and a hospitable host. Thanks, Iwan!

Iban, the very best server ever.

We visited Pavarotti in Leiden to have Italian style pizza. The restaurant is located in a beautiful spot and the atmosphere is very pleasant, so our expectations were quite high. Unfortunately, the pizzas did not live up to what we had hoped for. The taste felt rather ordinary, almost like something you would expect from a chain-style fast food restaurant rather than a restaurant in such a nice location. We could not really taste the quality of the dough or the freshness and richness of the toppings. For a restaurant with such a great setting and atmosphere, I believe the food should be at a much higher level. The overall experience was not terrible, but the pizza was disappointing compared to what we expected.

Had a delicious meal, Ninah is the best.

The restaurant looks nice inside. However, I found the back area very messy and dirty, which detracts somewhat from the atmosphere. Otherwise, the staff was friendly. I got the strong impression that they were understaffed and stressed, which made the service a bit impersonal. I had the prawn pasta. It was basically fine, but it wasn't bursting with flavor. They don't serve 'free' tap water for children here, which is the reason I won't be coming back. We had an extensive meal and drinks with six people. Other meals seemed to be very tasty.

We had a super delicious meal today. Wonderful pizza. Waitress Sammy was also super hospitable and nice.

Last Wednesday, I received very friendly and pleasant help from Suzanne! Highly recommended in Leiden.

Had a super fun karaoke afternoon at Pavarotti! We came for a bachelorette party with 12 girls and they were very helpful and offered us a more spacious room. Thanks for the fun afternoon!

We were a large group (11 people) and had a delicious meal! We arrived a little earlier than reserved, but this was no problem at all. We were served by Robert and a waitress (sorry, I can't remember your name). Everyone was attentive and very helpful, also with finding space for strollers and walkers. It was also great that we were informed about the option to get the scoops of ice cream for the children from "the neighbors." That way, the kids could enjoy their favorite ice cream and we could still have a cup of coffee! The food was served almost simultaneously and was deliciously hot. The only downside was the noise level; it was quite loud, making it difficult for us to understand each other, and the elderly at the table had some trouble with the sensory overload.

We had a wonderful meal at Pavarotti Leiden. The atmosphere was cozy and the food was delicious. A special compliment to Bibi. She was friendly, helpful, and worked very professionally. She kept a close eye on everything and made sure we wanted for nothing. Thanks to her excellent service, it was an extra pleasant experience. Highly recommended! 😊🍽️

Charlotte was great! She took excellent care of us. She introduced herself politely and kept a close eye on whether we wanted anything else. The perfect experience! What a star!

Charlotte took very good care of us! It was very special, I've never experienced anything like it before.

We ordered food via Thuisbezorgd. The food arrived within half an hour! Nice and fast for a Saturday. We ordered a pizza and a pasta. Both were still nice and warm. We had a delicious meal! Super friendly delivery driver too 😁
