Pizza and pasta was very tasty, the staff was very friendly and welcoming. caprese was too expensive for the small portion.

I went there with a friend because I recently moved nearby, and it was the best experience ever! It’s cost and has a really Italian feeling. The staffs as super friendly, and the food came quick and we devoured it, that’s how good it was! It came super quick the drinks were really nice for a good quality price and omggg the main’s!! I think me and my friend will never eat at another restaurant!!!

Pizzas were really good but table service is terrible. Spritz and wine glass servings were the smallest we've ever seen. Multiple tables were complaining about this, and for the spritz this was "fixed" by the owner by just adding more ice. Stick to the beer or soft drinks!

Best pizzas in Leiden! I get pizzas here very often, and every now and then I go out for dinner with people. They are always super friendly and the food is delicious!

I'm Italian and it's sufficient to see the pictures posted by other people to see how awful the pizzas look. I understand people have never had authentic Italian food might like this, but it is essentially a scam if on your website you write that it is authentic. It's actually outrageous with such a low quality offer.

We had a wonderful Valentine's Day meal, but when we arrived, they hadn't made a reservation under the name I'd given, but they had the correct number. It was incredibly busy, and we were sitting in the aisle, which we both found a bit annoying, but then again, many others were planning to dine out on Valentine's Day.

I ate here with my son tonight (Guiseppe is his downstairs neighbor). It was delicious, and the staff is friendly and attentive. When you're finished with your drink, they ask if you'd like another one. The food was delicious! And it was cozy.🥰 The "Pizze Tartufo" in the photo is highly recommended!

Good pizza, nice people, good atmosphere, excellent service

We ate here with a group of nine people. It was quite delicious and enjoyable. Afterward, the owner asked if we wanted a limoncello on the house, which we happily accepted. One of them conveniently paid the bill and split it between us later. Only then did we see that he'd simply added it to the bill; they wouldn't refund it later. So beware of this gentleman!

Nothing special. We took the table for three and ordered three different pizzas. Pizzas spent too much time in the pizza oven, only Italian beer was available. The service was not interested in supporting us.

The food we had was amazing. The pesto chicken was delicious with very good chicken sausage. We got three dishes and split them between 3 of us. Our favorites were the chicken pesto and the cheesy pasta.

Perfect family pizza spot in Leiden!

We visited this restaurant with three friends. We had a reservation for 18:00. That's how I imagine my restaurant one day. The operator is still checking whether everyone has poured. Very clean. The service is young and nervous. Next time, keep your hands close to your body and don't blush. We will be happy to come back again with friends. The menu is only in Dutch, but the staff can translate. Purity and beauty as in the old days. Thanks for going back in time to the good old days. I let the operator choose everything. We enjoy visiting Giuseppe. The food is delicious and really as it should be for an Italian. Best tiramisu ever! Cozy homely atmosphere and the owner likes to have a chat with the guests, which makes it very pleasant!

Just with a friend and mother and eating pizza at Giuseppe's. It is cozy, but very cramped. Service smooth and Italian beer on tap. Everything goes nice and fast. Asked for extra napkins, because minimal. Also a knife, because it is difficult to eat with two forks. Mother and Tonno and that's just a Tonne, nothing special. We have the Picante and it is not spicy. And very wet. When cutting, everything flies off the pizza. Why the rush? It's not that busy. Eating is also not possible because they are very large slices of salami or something that hang against your chin. Worthless. Asked for extra spicy oil, and no, not spicy either. Gulp and go. Paid and that's not too bad. From now on we will just go to Pinoccio on the Oude Vest.

I got the pizza which was not good at all and did not resemble an authentic Italian pizza at all, it was very dry and not very tasty. Then I had the limoncello tiramisu which was quite good. Prices are slightly lower than average. The place wasn't exactly nice but it was reasonably clean.

Small, but nice restaurant. Food was good and the service was very benevolent and friendly, because when I indicated that it was my friend's birthday, they came happily singing with an ice sorbet with stars in it... And they did the same for me. Worth repeating!

Fantastic food and excellent service. My wife had the calzone which was fantastic. Kid friendly options on the menu too. Just be aware that they don’t take credit cards (tried a couple of Mastercards) but debit cards not a problem. There’s a coffee shop next door that is also worth checking out, it’s run by the owner’s daughter.

The most confusing pizza in Leiden. We walked 25 minutes to pick it up and then 25 back, super excited to try it after seeing all the good reviews. However when we opened the boxes we were super surprised to see what was presented. I mean check the photos... Never in my days have I had to add more cheese to a pizza from an Italian restaurant. But I did it and when we did sit down to eat I was actually surprised. The taste of the pizza is insanely good. I understood. The sauce and the dough are what get the reviews. The presentation is average but you need to commit and then life will be ok. I think next time I'll go and sit in the restaurant.

No greasy pizzas here that you will burp on later in the evening, but really delicious pizzas!! Don't be misled by the somewhat dated decor and perhaps somewhat messy layout, here you can really eat well at a very reasonable price! Highly recommended in my opinion!

Come here for something to eat regularly. Food and atmosphere are very good. Not a lot of places, but that makes it nice and cozy. The staff is nice and visits regularly to check if everything is as desired. You don't have to wait long for your food and they always take any wishes into account. It might be a good idea to make a reservation in advance for the weekend. Highly recommended!

It was a real Italian pizza again! Delicious. 25/09/22 Today we had a delicious meal again, with a bottle of white lambrusco. Nowadays they also have gluten-free pizza dough and gluten-free pasta. We had 2 pizzas and two pastas. Until next time.

Bad for gluten free sadly. They don't put pizza on a separate tray so it is all cross contaminated with other pizzas.

Harde stoelen, restaurant basic ingericht. Eten is goed en niet duur. Frisdranken krijg je in een glas, geen flesjes. Vermoedelijk uit grote veel eerder aangebroken fles. Proefde weinig prik. Vriendelijke bediening. Tafels dicht op elkaar. Kon mijn metgezellen op gegeven moment niet meer verstaan ivm andere naaste groep gasten. Zelfs de verschrikkelijke, niet Italiaanse pianomuziek, werd door hen overstemd. Kortom eten en bediening goed, Niet echt gezellig of romantisch. Parkeren in de straat, betaald.

Nothing special, thin crust pizza but it was very crispy, like a cracker so it wasn't to our liking. A bit slow service but everyone was really polite and friendly.

Giuseppe is een heerlijk authentieke Italiaan. Hier wordt door het personeel ook echt Italiaans gesproken, in plaats van andere talen. Deze Italiaan heeft de beste pizza van Leiden. De sfeer is wat ouderwets, maar wel gezellig!

Heerlijk gegeten! Mijn vrouw is komen afhalen, is warm onthaald door de eigenaar die vriendelijk met haar babbelde. Ik kan gluten niet verdragen en zowel de glutenvrije pizza en de glutenvrije pasta waren héérlijk. En dat is zeldzaam. Wij gaan hier vaker terugkomen!

Pizza und Pasta ist solide, aber nicht herausragend. Wenig Gewürze. Stilrichtung des Ambiente nicht wirklich erkennbar. Im Innenraum ist es sehr laut, keine Schallisolierung vorhanden. Service ist zahlreich vorhanden, dennoch ein wenig unkoordiniert und nicht so schnell.

Wij komen al jaren bij deze pizzeria. Altijd lekkere pizza's met veel variatie op het menu. En het personeel en guisseppe zelf zijn altijd gastvrij. Zeker een aanrader!

Meine bestellten Ravioli waren wirklich sehr lecker, jedoch war die Portion nicht sehr groß. Der Service war sehr freundlich und aufmerksam. Ich würde auf jeden Fall wiederkommen.

Al vaker af gehaald, de pizzas zijn altijd erg lekker voor een goeie prijs. Als je gaat afhalen zou ik wel buiten staan anders sta je midden in de voordeur waar het ook heel warm is!

Nette Bedienung, wir waren ein bisschen über Ladenschluss da, dennoch waren alle freundlich und fragten, ob wir noch ein Dessert wollen. Pizzen und Pasta werden Glutenfrei angeboten, auch vegan gibt es ein gutes Angebot.

Weer geweest op dit geweldige eetfeest.. Wat een geweldige keuken. Als je hier hebt gegeten ben je verpest en ga je niet snel meer naar een ander Italiaans/Sicilaans restaurant.

Goede pizzeria maar wel erg druk met weinig ruimte tussen tafels. Alleen mijn man kreeg verkeerde pasta bij zijn gerecht zodat hij pas later, toen iedereen al bijna was uitgegeten, zijn juiste gerecht kreeg. Tijdens het eten van zijn gerecht brak plotseling zijn bord in 3 stukken. Excuses van eigenaar maar het was wel erg vervelend
