I went here for a meal today, very cozy and relaxing, ideal for a stopover. By car or bicycle, you have to walk 15 minutes for public transport from Duinrell. The toilets were very clean for both men and women.

A super cozy place to grab a bite to eat or a drink. Perfect for kids too! The food all looked fantastic, and it was delicious too. We'll definitely be back 🔝

A lovely place at the bottom of the dune near Wassenaarseslag. I've been here for years. It was closed for a while, but now it's open again under a new owner. The friendly, helpful, and attentive ladies helped me with a delicious croquette sandwich. A pleasant and convenient stop during my bike ride.

Simple and cozy. We were there for dinner around 6:30 pm. Plate service, mostly fried items, but tasty. Three kinds of salads are also available. Very tasty red wine! Friendly, quick service.

It's great that De Klip is open again, the food is super good so come and try it and if the weather is nice sit outside. Also try the home-made meatball, it is sooooooooo delicious. Daan & Kim are doing well and keep it up.

Delicious satay! Plenty of space with plenty of fries and satay sauce. A great place to relax under the trees. There's a playground for the kids next to the patio. Very nice and delicious.

A really nice, upscale cafeteria with friendly owners and staff. Delicious "specials" like satay and Indonesian delicacies.

A delicious meatball sandwich is sure to keep you coming back. A special steak tartare sandwich is also excellent. A neat shop with a calm atmosphere and the owner is always happy to chat with everyone.

The new owners, Daan and Kim, and their staff make you feel very welcome. Both the patio and the interior have been renovated. Everything looks great and is kept clean and tidy. You can order sandwiches, snacks, and pastries, as well as delicious soft serve ice cream, and the whipped cream is "the real thing" and doesn't sagged. Daan and Kim, good luck with your new business. We always enjoy stopping by after a walk, bike ride, or day at the beach.

Delicious fries topped with tasty herbs. The peanut sauce was a bit thin, and the meatballs could use a bit more seasoning. They looked freshly rolled and fried, but lacked some salt and other seasoning. Overall, a friendly place for a good, quick bite.

It's turned out really nice here. Easy parking, for cars, bikes, and motorcycles. Cozy terrace, and the interior looks great too. Restrooms are available. Friendly service, and everything on the menu, from pastries to meatballs and more, is delicious. It's a lovely place, we'll be back soon.

Open again after a year, and what a treat! The owner was super friendly, and I had some truly delicious fries after a great day at the beach. The Klip is just how I always knew it, but perhaps even better.

Recently reopened with new hosts, Daan and Kim. Upon arrival, we received a warm and welcoming welcome. The atmosphere was very cozy, and the staff were friendly. The food and drinks were excellent! Highly recommended for a bite to eat and a drink.

Very basic. Arrived at 9.30...got hot drink but only breakfast available was a cheese or meatball sub roll....nice playback for toddler attached

After a year, De Klip is open again. New owner! Congratulations and best of luck with the launch. The food is fantastic. The menu is still temporary, but it tastes delicious and the service is great.

In the evening, we enjoyed a lovely cup of coffee and ice cream on the terrace. The place has a new owner, and they've done a fantastic job of renovating it. I definitely recommend stopping by.

Ever since I was a child, over 60 years ago, this has been a wonderful place to relax after a day at the beach or a bike ride for a drink and a bite to eat. Meanwhile, the kids can play under the trees. Excellent value for money, and the snacks are delicious!

The new staff is different and you cannot order many dishes because the ingredients are not present

Onyl went for some beers. Did "large" drinks like pints of Heineken. Kids used the playground stuff. Nice setting. Friendly staff. Would go again.

Yesterday evening we wanted to have a nice meal with our family (2 adults, 2 kids) and Grandpa and Grandma. When we arrived at 18:15 we sat down and looked at the menu to see what we wanted to order. After waiting for 15 minutes, no one from the service had come yet, so I went inside to order myself (I thought), then I was told that the kitchen was closed... at 6:30 while it says that the kitchen would be open until 7 o'clock. Very strange and very unfortunate. So really NOT recommended!!!

Is there a new owner? Been coming there for 20 years.... but on Sunday I was treated so rudely/antisocially by a young man. Apparently it was difficult to say please and enjoy your meal. Frustrated man. Do not feel like working? Then stay home. Klippie maybe someday, but not anymore.

Old fashioned, playground needs an update

Friendly staff. Were very patient with the probable introduction of a new force. Nice meal. Only the appearance is a bit old-fashioned. You can get a nice fries and sit in the shade on the terrace.

Just a pit stop, it took 15 minutes before someone came out to take the order. Reasonable prices for sandwiches. Soft drinks from €3.50 Friendly staff.

A chef with dirty hands and an even dirtier cloth on his hip with which dirt is quickly wiped away and a pitifully small Large Fries for 5 euros. To skip!

Popsicles there are out of date and the atmosphere there resembles that of a depressive haunted house.

Very Dutch cafe , has English menu, Food good value freshly cooked. Most of local tradespeople use it for lunch

Hot meat sandwich! The meat was tough and the portion on the soggy sandwich was minimal. The plate of fries was brought when we had almost finished the sandwiches. That could be better! Great glass of wine! Pretty nice place with a playground and parking lot.

Good fries, super friendly service.

After an afternoon in Duinrell we thought we would have a quick bite to eat here before heading home. The children ordered a croquette and a frikandel with fries, which were as you would expect. The Klip burger my wife ordered was okay, but not much more than that. I ordered a dish of hot meat (at a price of €15, about the most expensive on the menu), the amount of meat was really minimal and the meat itself was dry and lukewarm in temperature. Definitely not recommended. A bit of conviviality/personality in the reception/service remained absent and there was no way to say goodbye or anything when leaving (of course we did this when walking out). Unfortunately, but not worth repeating as far as we are concerned.

A great place to rest on the road. The employees are attentive and do their job well. It is possible to sit outdoors when the weather permits. The interior is beautiful. I congratulate the employees and the operator.

Years ago this was a very nice and tasty place to eat, but it is now far below par. The food is simply inedible and behind the chip shop there is an older lady who is very confused, which means the order is incorrect. You will never see us again

Appauled, absolutely appauled, from the members of staff to the waiting time, waited over an hour for mediocre food and after the kitchen staff messing up simple orders countless times. We were called “the english ones” and made to feel unwelcome whilst the waiting staff (curly haired women) was making it seem like it was our fault for their mistakes. Overall disappointing experience and i shall not be attending again.

As cyclists between Katwijk and The Hague, we thought it would be nice to have a drink to make the last part of cycling a little more pleasant. When we arrived on the terrace, it was not very busy (I believe three tables occupied), we waited 20 minutes. We left without anything to drink. 4 male/female staff, of which one old woman does the service outside. Still walked inside, but unfortunately you are invisible. You simply don't exist. Words fail me!

Ate at De Klip this morning, the food is reasonable to good, only the old waitress with blond/gray curls is completely distracted.. first helps other people who come in later than the people who are already sitting, let them wait Very unfriendly

Restaurant for the elderly and cycling day people. With a somewhat dilapidated playground. Tasty, large ice creams for the kids. Nice portions of food. Service could be friendlier and the speed of taking orders at the table could also be improved.

Nice menu, great location, but the service was dramatic twice. A lady who grumbles while serving, who snaps at you when you ask for something, that's really not possible. I also felt sorry for her, she couldn't handle it alone in the service, but you are still somewhat polite to your customers. Food was also fine.

We ate fries and a croquette sandwich together at the end of the Dutch Bunker day. Was of good quality. If you order outside and take a seat in the seating area, unfortunately they will not deliver your order. Maybe you should order inside or something.😅 Had a soft ice cream with a sauce. Nice indeed.

Lovely terrace. With a view of the intersection and a large playground on the side for young and old. Ordinary things on the map. Something for everyone and normal prices. Truly a place for cyclists and walkers and people who come there for a cup of coffee and read the newspaper.

Don’t stop here without cash. We stopped after a day of riding with just Amex and Visa Debit. It doesn’t take any card unless it’s a local banks debit card. There was an ATM 15 min ride away which we had to access. In this day and age???

Everything was bad. Fries, croquette and cheese souffle greasy and undercooked. Tea had a layer of foam on top. I'll never come back.
