Paviljoen SALT in Wijk 46 Terherne

We zaten er op zaterdagavond en het was buiten niet echt lekker weer. Harde wind en nogal fris. Omdat wij een tafel bij de deur hadden en er veel mensen binnen kwamen hadden we behoorlijk last van tocht. Dat was niet bepaald fijn. Het eten was goed maar helaas was de groente nergens te bekennen.

Prachtige locatie met leuke kinderspeeltuin, Een prima dinerkaart met ook leuke dag specials en vriendelijk personeel. Het eten duurde ‘lang’ maar omdat we met een grote groep waren en het druk was, begrijpelijk! Uiteindelijk heerlijk gegeten

Rommelig en vies overal vliegen. Personeel wat maar iets deed. Waren er naar toe gegaan omdat er gezegd werd daar kan je goed en lekker eten. Zijn na het broodje maar weer weggegaan.

Gezellige plek, leuk uitzicht, vriendelijk personeel, lekker eten. Je kan binnen en buiten zitten. Ook speelgelegenheid voor kinderen

Prachtig uitzicht Saltpoel,Sneekermeer, zittend op terras, drankje etc. erbij. Goede bediening, prettige omgeving. Vervolgens uitstekend verzorgd diner. Skrei of Entrecote, zalm of Carpaccio, vers brood met dip of risotto bospaddestoelen vegan. Top locatie. Al meerdere keren bezocht, nooit teleurgesteld.

Helaas slecht gegeten hier, tonijnsteak, waarschijnlijk verkeerd ontdooit, want was mega taai, ongeïnteresseerde bediening, sfeerloze boel. Gerecbt niey hoeven afrekeken, maar ook nog geen kwart van gegeten. Jammer, want wat een toplocatie in Friesland!

Drankjes relatief duur voor niet echt een toplocatie. Drankenlijst eerder beperkt, weinig keuze in biertjes. Borrelkaart pover.

We had a delicious meal there and being able to sit outside topped it off. Friendly staff. Very cozy.

Insider tip!! Great little restaurant with a nice outdoor area. The interior is quaint and fitting with a wonderful view. Good little menu with something for everyone. Delicious cakes, café specialties and draft beer! The food is also excellent here! Very good and friendly service. You can moor your boat here (several moorings), which is of course another big plus!!! Open 7 days and dogs allowed! Everything is perfect for looking out over the water while enjoying some nice food and drinks!!!

Top location, super atmospheric, nice and professional service, top food and drinks. The menu offers enough for everyone, but what you get served is just that little bit different, better but above all tastier than elsewhere. Hostess Yodi and her team are great, they take good care of the guests. Super terrace with a beautiful view over the water and a fenced beach with lots of fun for the kids (air trampoline, shovels, buckets, etc.). Highly recommended to visit!

Drove there for Jan with the short surname to hear that they were having a private party that was not mentioned on the site, the pathetic excuse that this had been announced on social media, so if you don't have social media then you know. not a bit shortsighted.

Delicious dishes, fantastic service and beautiful location!

Truly had a great experience at SALT. Shortly after we sat down, a very loud group came and sat next to us. After we asked if there was a quieter place, the ladies at the service did everything they could to give us a nice evening. ❤️ Some tables were moved around and the company gave us the last round of drinks. Special thanks to the blonde lady from SALT who apologized. 🫶🏼 (Tip: the tasting desserts! Huge amounts and incredibly sweet but very tasty).

Made a reservation in the afternoon, quickly confirmed. It was Friday evening, busy! But the service was fast and very nice. And our drinks came very quickly. Just like our food: we took the dish of the day, one fish and one meat, both a treat! Nice restaurant with nice guests and nice staff. And really tasty food!

Very nice, cozy and attractive place on the water to have something to eat or just have a drink! Lots of fun play areas for the children, both indoors and outdoors, and a menu especially for the little ones. Service very friendly, well cared for and professional. We will definitely come back!

Beautiful place! Service good. Food was quite good, but very few vegetables. The menu shows salmon with summer vegetables, but twice half a carrot and a very small piece of bok choy. Then you won't get many vegetables. Bowl of regular fries with mayo. So we ordered a salad when we saw the plates. Next time we will eat elsewhere.

An 8-minute walk from the heart of Terherne through the beautiful Frisian landscape. Spacious and lovely terrace overlooking the water and a small jetty. Wind screens, sun blinds, patio heating and sheepskin on the sofas make it very cozy, pleasant and comfortable. Very friendly service. De luxe snack board is highly recommended (enough for 4 people). Everything was great except the coffee, which was unfortunately really weak. So let's have a nice drink!

Very nice to go with children. The service is very friendly and we are regularly asked if everything is to your liking. Very nice! The food is delicious. The children can play fun and safely on the "beach" with a bouncy castle.

Nice place, nice view. We had made a reservation, but over time something had gone wrong in Salt's system. As a result, there was no room in the restaurant, but there was room on the 'beach'. So we had a nice time there too! Which was a shame though; there is different/lesser service on the beach. That's why we can no longer have dinner there, because that had to be in the restaurant (where we had also made a reservation). Salt just didn't really offer to be flexible on that, due to their own mistake. That was a shame. Furthermore, we had a nice seat and a good meal; good drinks board!

We moored the boat and ate in the tent next to the restaurant. Ordering is a breeze via the QR code and service is friendly and fast. Very good food and a place we will definitely stop at and eat more often.

Fantastic place to have a delicious lunch, drink or dinner. Nice and large terrace (with awnings) for nice days. View over the water, directly on a cycle route. You can also moor by boat! Pleasant and friendly service, delicious dishes and wide choice of drinks. In short: recommended!

Delicious food. The only point is that the steak for the three of us was not medium rare but well done.

Nice restaurant in a beautiful place!

Out for dinner with 89-year old mum, children and grandchildren. We had a lovely time. Grandchildren play in- and outdoors. Absolutely briljant gluten free options, they think of everything! Even the crumble in the salt blanche was gluten free. Superb staff!

A little more attention for the children from the service, for example about the kids menu. The teacher didn't know anything about something tasty from the teacher. But otherwise a wonderful and beautiful place.

Beautiful location! Very busy in the high season, but nevertheless very good food and fast, friendly service.

Vanwege de indruk van Salt op social media al langer de wens eens met man en dochtertje (5j) hier te eten. Vooral omdat ze het leuk aankleden voor kinderen (lees speciale menukaart met tekeningen, opdrachten etc). In de praktijk doen ze hier juist niks mee, kinder menukaart wordt zonder uitleg op tafel gelegd. Buiten waren het voetbaldoel en 2 speelobjecten kapot. Binnen enorm tochtig doordat er steeds 3 deuren aan verschillende kanten open gaan. Heb met jas aan gegeten. We zaten pal naast een andere familie waarbij we alle gesprekken letterlijk konden volgen en we ze recht in de nek zaten te kijken. Vega kaart is matig, had Gado Gado besteld, op zich prima hoor maar maak het dan ook echt Vega (tofu/tempeh toevoegen) en niet alleen de kip weglaten. Personeel doen wat ze moeten doen, maar niet dat extra stapje waardoor je beleving leuker wordt. Manager/eigenaresse staat steeds wat chagarijnig ogend de ruimte te observeren. Al met al voor ons echt een teleurstelling en niet de moeite waard!

Five stars! If you want good food with top service, this is the place for you. We were directed to a table with a beautiful view and in the shade, which was not an unnecessary luxury at 27 degrees. We ordered the burrata and the BLTC on sourdough bread. Everything was fresh and the portions were generous. The service is friendly, attentive and patient! We will be back!

Very nice people, me and my sister couldn't get the engine of our boat started and there were crew members who helped us right away. Super nice, a glass of limo was also offered! SALT is also located in a beautiful place!!! definitely to recommend!

New map? I liked the old one better. This is all a bit fancier with associated prices. Tiramisu desert was disappointing. Dry ladyfingers and little mixed with the liqueur (barely tasteable) and cream. The Dame Blanche with 3 scoops of vanilla ice cream had a few dashes of chocolate sauce on it. That was also a bit disappointing. Sea bass was good. The sirloin steak was overcooked for a medium rare.

Restaurant located directly on the water with a large terrace and a view of the water, the bank with reeds, including the sunset, simply beautiful! We were always served very friendly and quickly. The food was very tasty: whether it was huge borrel plank, entrecote, pork medallions or burgers 😋

Had a great party on June 29 in the tent next to the pavilion! Highly recommended, top service, delicious BBQ and everything well organised! The icing on the cake was the beautiful weather at this beautiful location, it couldn't have been better!!!

Today we ate at Salt upon reservation, stating that we wanted to eat gluten and lactose free. They were very well thought out, there was a good allergen map, and we had a delicious meal on our first day of holiday!

Nice meal, the rib eye carpaccio is just a bit spicier than regular carpaccio, I say good choice👍. Relaxed atmosphere, top service, with nice weather, a great location where we like to come. Oh yes there is also wine always great (Viognier), in short, we will come back again 😇

Beautiful view of the water. A great team that added an extra table in the shade especially for us. The food was, as expected in a beach pavilion, not the best, but it was fresh... The food was hot and reasonably tasty. Great place for a drink... Definitely... All in all a beautiful evening and the view is great...!

It's strange that I receive an email thanking me for our visit... we came, found no parking space in the crowded parking lot, so we had lunch elsewhere. And...I have unsubscribed from the reservation for reasons of absence...And then I am asked about our experiences? Doesn't that say enough???

A very nice restaurant in a great location with a view of the lake and its own jetty. Fantastic food (!) and a really, very friendly, ambitious service team. Our (special) requests were fulfilled without any problems and as a matter of course. The service wasn't always so good, you sometimes noticed that the young employees were "semi-skilled", but they made up for the little bit of attention that was still lacking with their extraordinary friendliness. We are thrilled and will come back often. Thanks to the Salt team for a great service!

Perfecte locatie! Hele mooie ligging vlak bij het water. Kaart is beperkt. Uiteindelijk ravioli besteld. Moesten bijna anderhalf uur wachten. Maar goed het was druk en mooi weer. Uiteindelijk was de ravioli van goede kwaliteit maar voor 22,00 euro had de portie iets groter mogen zijn. Al met al viel het ons wat tegen. Personeel beetje gestrest en ongeduldig.

My daughters and I celebrated our birthday at SALT in a beautiful tent next to the bouncy castle. The weather was a bit less, so the walls were put in and after a few hours the gas heaters were turned on. Very cozy, coffee is delicious, pastries, snacks, snacks, BBQ deluxe and ice cream were all super tasty. Everything was lactose free which no one noticed. Unfortunately, the vegetarian part of the BBQ was a little less well taken care of. I had expected something like veggie burgers and something with tofu anyway. Benches were a bit hard, I heard from quite a few people, so some cushions might be an option for next time. But all in all super satisfied, will definitely come back.
