1. The waitress didn't know the cocktails of their own menu. 2. We waited 30 min to get our order, while being only the second group taking a seat. All the groups coming after were served before us. 3. After all this wait, the server told us it has been impossible to make my cocktail (broken machine). Without any alternative cocktail. The place is nice, but it's expensive and the service is terrible.

What a delicious meal I had tonight. The food was lovingly prepared (the pate en croute was sublime), the flavors were truly delicious, and what's also particularly commendable besides the kitchen is the excellent service. A perfect evening. Keep up the good work, Peter's Bistro. Unfortunately for us, Peter has retired, but he's earned that rest. Thanks! We're curious to see who or what will succeed him.

This Restaurant/ Café in the beautiful Griftpark is CLOSED until further notice. The owner decided to quit the restaurant. Don't bother visiting now.

We were here for a family outing, and the food was OK. Don't expect culinary highlights, but it's reasonably priced.

I visited Gritfpark today and had lunch at this bistro beforehand. If you're planning on doing this, turn around and go somewhere else! Terrible staff, my food arrived cold and was inedible. A grumpy bunch and absolutely not worthy of a restaurant. In short, terrible!

Lunch is average, nothing special. Not enough staff so you have to wait a long time. After 40 minutes we got our drinks, 30 minutes later the food

22-02-2025 Ate here with family. 5 people. Nice restaurant, friendly service and pleasant atmosphere. Not a very extensive menu but the food was good. We will definitely come back when the weather is better so we can enjoy the outdoors.

1. Prijzen zijn veel te hoog voor de porties en kwaliteit ( ik had de eendenborst en kreeg daar bij 4 aardappelplakjes, een paar sperziebonen en vier wortels met het eenderborstje er op. De saus zelf kwam zo uit een pakje, gewoon niet interessant. 2. Serves was traag. Lege tent en nog steeds 35 min wachten op hoofdgerecht en daarna 30 min wachten op dessert. 3. Crème brûle was een zandtaartje met korstje. Totaal niks met een crème brule te maken. Kaas plak was erg schaars en erg zielig.

We were with a group of 7 people and entered without reservation asking if we could have a drink or some snacks. The woman communicated that we could but that she needed our table about 45 minutes later. That is good communication so everyone knows what is possible and what not. We ordered some drinks and some snacks. All OK. Two people and I ordered soup. Well, I must say: Peter can cook! A good portion of delicious soup, served with to slightly toasted slices of a brown baguette, at a reasonable price. As for the atmosphere: it looks like being in a cosy living room. People at the other, smaller tables, were enjoying some coffee or like in a relaxed atmosphere.

Good food in a nice and relaxed environment. Service is good and you are served quickly and politely. The portion of the food (main course) is good and the fries you get are well done. The room may be a bit noisy if there are larger groups.

Nice for lunch. Excellent service, good staff, casual atmosphere. Great place for a nice conversation or a relaxed chat. Definitely stop by if you're in the area...

We were able to come here with a large group (26 people) to eat a 3-course dinner during the week! Everything was very well organised. And while we chose what we wanted to eat on the spot, it still went super smoothly. Perfect portions, and allergies and dietary requirements were no problem either. It was a lot of fun!

I come here occasionally for a cup of coffee and the service is top notch. Friendly service! The terrace is nice, you sit next to the greenery of the Griftpark and the terrace is nice and spacious. By the way, the lunch I've had before was also good!

Food tasty and well presented. Only there is always smoking somewhere on the terrace, eating a snack with smoke... .

The goat cheese salad is a 10/10. The place is beautiful and you can bring your dog (we have a small dog) inside or outside. They seem a little understaffed some times so it is hard to get the servers attention even though you can tell they are trying hard to cope with everything they have to do.

We won't be coming back here again. Not suitable for 2 people. The restaurant was packed with three large groups. Families with screaming and running children. And a group that was singing and shouting. Management had already placed us as far away from the groups as possible, but if you, as a restaurant manager, know that there are so many groups, you could have informed the other guests about this so that we could come another day. The food was fine, especially the meat, the service was friendly, but we were not able to enjoy a quiet evening out for two. Horrible. Waste of our money.

A card that everyone will enjoy. Tastiest hamburger I've ever eaten. Juicy, right thickness with small pieces of tomato, bacon, egg, absolutely great! My girlfriend had satay and it was also perfect with rice and fries! Perfect location and I will definitely go here more often.

Peters Bistro is a special location located in the middle of Utrecht's Griftpark. You can have a nice drink there, but you can also go there if you want to throw a good party!

I had the opportunity to be there 3 times, and each time I felt that there was a lack of attention from the employees when it came to serving the public. The waiters are very limited in looking at the tables and serving with kindness. Another point is that it seems easier for them to cry than to smile.

Nice location just outside the center on a water/jetty. Nice selection of French starters and real Bistro main courses. Attractively priced drinks menu. Will definitely come back again.

There is a cozy homely atmosphere here, tables are spacious and from the window you look out over a stream and the park. There is also an upper floor and outside terrace, which is undoubtedly very nice in the summer. (now only 6 degrees). The service is good but seems a bit unsure as if it is their first day. (why?, it's not necessary, you're doing a good job! ;) ) The food is okay, although some things are a bit 'prepared' as if they came from a jar. ' The main course chicken satay was very tasty, tender chicken and home made fries. (unfortunately served on a cutting board where the juices would run off the chicken at some point, perhaps this was a somewhat clumsy choice by the chef.) There is plenty of parking, but at a rate of €6.50 per hour, where I was of course lucky that the machine was broken (solved on the spot with a parking app). We then stood outside a little longer where the smell of weed from the youth park greeted us. (you have to be able to handle it), we had no further problems with this inside the restaurant. It may be a little more difficult to reach for the less able-bodied, but it is doable. All in all a good experience and with the 2nd (before/main/after/drinks/parking costs) we spent just under 100 euros.

We come to this place often. The service is not only fast, but they also have a sense of humor and are really nice. The food and drinks are delicious and they have a lot of options! The atmosphere is outstanding. We aren’t leaving soon!

Food was delicious. Service downright bad. We had to wait a long time before we could order something to drink, while the table next to us, who came in much later, had already ordered and received a drink. Even then there was far too much time between courses: in the end I raised my hand for the dessert menu. After we received it and waited for 20 minutes, we walked to the bar and paid the bill. No tip given of course. Just made coffee at home. Completely inadequate staff: cleaning tables and unpacking the dishwasher while 4 tables are waiting for a follow-up: they just don't see it and don't respond to the needs of the customers. Very unfortunate because the food was not the issue. You won't see us again for a while. I would say invest in better staff. Then we would like to come back.

Delicious dinner at this cozy bistro. Highly recommend Bouillabaisse, Pompoen, and Kabelijauw. All super tasty in their own creative way! Will go back there soon :))

Ontzettend goeie Rib Eye van de Green Egg, nog nooit zo lekker gegeten! Ware sensatie die speelt over de tong, is zeker aan te bevelen! De Lams is ook erg lekker mals en goed gekruid. Ook de service is top, aardige en snelle bediening. Restaurant is heel sjiek en sfeervol ingericht. Dit restaurant is een pareltje net buiten de gekte van de stad.

Fijne plek, fijn terras. Gisteren met zn vieren gegeten. Bediening heel vriendelijk. Eten prima in orde. Hadden geluk dat het niet te druk was op terras dus service ook snel!

Erg slecht waren met z'n 5e uit eten en eerst redelijk lang moeten wacht op het eten. Toen kregen maar 3 van ons hun eten ik en nog een ander persoon hebben nog een paar keer gevraagd waar ons eten bleef en steeds hetzelfde antwoord dat het er zo aankomt inmiddels waren we een kwartier veder en hadden we ons eten nog niet. Er werd ook niet gecommuniceerd met ons. Toen een van ons het eten 25 min later kreeg, daarna nog een keer moeten vragen om mijn eten en daarna kwam het. In de tussen tijd ook geen drankje of iets anders aan geboden. Hebben uit eindelijk een deel gratis gekregen.

Er waren twee obers die beide weinig konden lachen en ons met weinig passie hebben geholpen.

Utrechts City centre is great but having a dinner downtown is often not so good. But a little bit outside is Peters Bistro which gives the opportunity for a perfekt dinner.

Het was druk en daarom moest ik lang wachten. Prijs kwaliteit is goed. Sfeer is leuk.

Fantastische flamkuchen. Bekleed met onder andere carpaccio, de rest mag je zelf ontdekken ;) Lekker eigen biertje ook. De plek is top: in de zon en vlakbij het water. Ook is het een best wel stil terras (geen lawaai om je heen). Als je goed gegeten hebt loop je zo het park in. Bediening was vriendelijk. Echt een aanrader om in de zon rustig bij te praten met iemand

Wij hebben hier voor het eerst gegeten en zijn bijzonder vriendelijk ontvangen een geweldig mooie plaats met mooi terras. Het eten was voortreffelijk zeker voor de prijs wijn is betaalbaar koffie is ook erg goed. Wij hadden een viscappacio erg lekker daarna een tournedos opgediend op en warm bord goed mals een klein minpuntje dessert kaart niet erg uitgebreid komen in ieder geval nog terug

Toevallig tegengekomen toen ik op zoek was naar een leuk tentje om te eten in mijn pauze, De hamburger is uitstekend van smaak en een hele leuke eerlijke bediening die eerlijk aangaven dat het misschien even kan duren dus met andere woorden echt super leuke bediening lekker eten zeker een aanrader

Delicious bistro! It is located in a great spot right in the park so you can enjoy some time there sitting outside if it is a beautiful day. The food was very good and the cappuccino was absolutely incredible! The staff is very friendly and welcoming, we loved it!

Op een prachtige lokatie maar een ramp om er te parkeren. Zo er al wat is, dan kost dat bijna zes euro per uur. Op hun site wekken ze indruk dat er genoeg is en gratis alsof het eigen terrein is. Er werd een feestje met buffet voor gezelschap gegeven. Afgezien van het feit dat veel het te laat werd geserveerd was de kwaliteit niet om over naar huis te schrijven. Het was lekker maar ik weet niet of het de prijs waard was. Er was niet voldoend zitgelegenheid voor alle gasten in de besloten bovenruimte. Er was geen leuke aankleding. Voor ouderen is het slecht toegankelijk. Voor toilet moet je weer naar beneden. Ik hoorde dat de vertraging door personeelsgebrek kwam maar dan moet je met niet gereserveerde andere gasten regelingen treffen over afhandelingsduur. Die kunnen dan kiezen om weer te gaan. Het eten was te gaar en sommige zaken te droog. Inktvisringen niet geprobeerd want die waren te donker. Net als de appeltaart waar wat aangebrande stukjes, proefbaar, op zaten.

Vanavond hebben wij hier voor het eerst gegeten. Het restaurant is prachtig gelegen met een mooi uitzicht over het Griftpark. De ontvangst was prettig, de bediening was vriendelijk en goed. Een pluspunt is dat er ongevraagd een fles met water op tafel werd gezet, prima! We hebben lekker gegeten. Als voorgerecht de Vitello tonato en de viscarpaccio, als hoofdgerecht de zalm met risotto en de Tournedos. De gerechten zagen er goed uit en de smaken waren heerlijk. De tournedos had iets royaler gemogen, zeker ook gezien de smaak. Daarna koffie en cappuccino waarbij we werden verrast met chocola op een stokje, erg lekker. Wij bevelen dit restaurant aan!

Heerlijk geluncht. Je zit er heel rustig. Leuke kaart en goed eten tegen normale prijzen

Lekker gegeten. Goeie bier en ok wijnkaart. Bediening was goed en heel vriendelijk. Prijzen absoluut redelijk. Hier wordt geen misbruik gemaakt van de crisis om de prijzen fiks te verhogen. Goeie tent.

Best choice for a relaxing lunch or a fine dining. I liked most the roasted duck - starter - and the ribs - main. Excellent wines.
