Luckily the hospital is close by. Far too expensive for what is offered.

Vermaat has a Franke coffee machine that dispenses moderately refined coffee at the touch of a button. They charge €4.50 for a café latte, while the same product from the same machine at Bergman in Naarden costs €2.50. This is because we take patients into account, something Vermaat apparently can't afford.

After our visit, we enjoyed a delicious fresh carrot cake and apple pie with a cappuccino and ginger tea. Everything was rich and delicious. Ordered at the bar, and I got it right away. Prices were reasonable, less than 12 euros for everything. They've done a great job designing it. It's still in a hospital, but otherwise, it's well-organized. We go here often.

We had coffee and tea here, and had carrot and apple pie with it. We paid less than €6 per person, and the pastries were delicious! The staff is friendly. For a hospital, it looks cozy!

I was pleasantly surprised by the quality of the food at Le Petit Restaurant Vermaat in the hospital. You wouldn't normally expect such a culinary experience at such a location, but the avocado hummus salad I ordered was truly exceptional! Deliciously fresh, generously portioned, and full of flavor. Kudos to the kitchen; this is highly recommended for anyone who dines here! 🥘

A disgusting, soggy sandwich costs 6-7 euros here. They look delicious, but it's always incredibly disappointing. Just now at 12:30, most sandwiches had been made at 9:00, according to the sticker. I grabbed the last one, which had just been made. But it too was soggy and not fresh. As if they use pre-baked rolls that they forget to put in the oven. Luckily, I discovered there's another, larger restaurant in the UMC. I won't be going there again.

I had a delicious Brie, walnut, and honey sandwich! It was just a shame they didn't have all the sandwiches; I would have preferred them brown, but despite that, they tasted really good! The prices are a bit high, but otherwise, the atmosphere is great and the staff is very friendly.

Sandwiches are very expensive and also without butter (4 to 6.50 euros). I left a juice cup as expensive and infrequent. It's also comical that the spelling of the pin transaction says: UMC Utrecht Retaurant, forgot what a level

Yesterday 31/10/23 at Vermaat in UMC: I asked in advance whether the club sandwich could also be made with whole wheat bread. I was assured that everything was ALWAYS whole grain. So no, when we got them the bread was as white as anything! Surprise: you are simply being lied to. No complaints, we thought 'sigh, never mind', such an agreement, no time for fuss. Why prawn crackers were sprinkled around it is a big question, it doesn't suit the sandwich at all. Volume was the only good thing, but I usually prefer as little white bread as possible, so even that is NOT positive in this case. By the way, very expensive, 12.50 per sandwich, relatively speaking, because if it had been better, this would not have been a problem. REALLY downright disappointing. Never again!

Really bad service, Disproportionately high prices.....

Poor service, I am a transplant and would like a freshly made sandwich and not something that has been in the refrigerator for more than an hour, I have to assume that is correct, they did not want to make a fresh sandwich for me, very bad, so left alone with coffee

After a visit to the doctor, we bought a cup of coffee and sausage rolls Honestly...they were cold and old!!!! Too bad they don't sell fresh food at quite a high price. I reported it but nothing was done about it Bad thing Hope they do something about this after several complaints MANAGER, do your job!!!!!

I had a long lunch while working remotely. Spacious setup, fast and friendly service, good quality. Happy customer as I even got a paper bag to take home the leftovers. Thank you, Restaurant Vermaat!

Dry bread roll and very dry croquette. Then rinse with plenty of water, otherwise you can enjoy it for a long time. You don't sell this in a hospital. Still expensive too. 🤮

Been a few times. Every time they charge incorrectly (too much) for ice cream. Today again. Also heard from someone else. So often it is no longer a coincidence, but deliberate fraud in my opinion. I saw that an employee was making coffee today and her colleague (manager as I estimate) asked her if she knew that the coffee should no longer be that full. She had heard it, she said. Scandalous. Pay a high price and then Vermaat cuts back on the quantity.

€6.20 for a tough, dry, hard sausage roll and a cappuccino in a paper cup. Fiercely.
