It was a really boring restaurant!! There was almost nothing!! We finally decided on a hamburger, which later turned out to not be a hamburger at all, but a flattened frikandel. The lettuce was completely rotten!! And there were tons of fries!! Half of them were actually fries!! That night I had terrible stomach pain and vomited!!! I don't understand why there's a restaurant like that in a hospital!!

The owner (a bald man) is always chatting at a table in the restaurant. When one of the cashiers (who aren't allowed to prepare anything) goes to get him, he comes back, snarling at the customers with a fresh air of disgust. He can't even say a word kindly. If there are any pre-fried snacks left (ice cold), you get them with your fries. The grease is often disgusting because the snacks are also thrown in with the fries. This man throws absolutely everything (tomatoes and cucumbers are literally dumped onto your plate) and everything happens with a lot of noise. He's lost his passion years ago! I tried it again and, of course, it's very disappointing. Chicken skewers from the freezer (not covered with freezer burn) are fried until they're as dry as a bone. A slop of tasteless, watery satay sauce is poured over them and a hopeless salad with wilted lettuce that I didn't even touch. It's a disgrace for a hospital to serve this crap. Go to the Maxima hospital if you want a decent meal. This substandard chip shop (there's nothing nutritious available) needs to be shut down immediately. A new owner will do wonders. The nursing staff don't eat there themselves either, sending guests en masse to the Maxima center. Even during lunch and dinner, the WKZ staff usually eat at the Maxima center!

I've been coming to the WKZ for 18 years and have eaten at De Towand several times. The quality has deteriorated significantly over the years. The menu is simple and lacks variety. You get a decently filled plate, but the food is cold and undercooked. The satay was dry, the fried potatoes were undercooked and cold, and the salad had large, hard chunks in it. And if you report it, they can't help you because the manager isn't present. They don't offer any alternatives, and you have to fill out a complaint form. This is the last time I'll eat there.

I've been a regular customer/patient at this hospital for weeks now. I've also been admitted for a few days. Besides the excellent patient catering, I see that people can still get various affordable meals or lunches right up until closing time. Even fresh fruit and ice cream. There's also a candy and cookie vending machine on the ground floor, and a healthy meals vending machine on the second floor where you can buy delicious banana bread, flatbread, sandwiches, wraps, and delicious organic iced tea. Yes, food is expensive everywhere, including in the supermarket and restaurants in the city. Complaints are common, and depending on how much you want to eat, I find the price at this restaurant very reasonable. I don't understand the negative comment below from Kaya. But hey, everyone has their own opinion.

The average cost of lunch is between 6 and 15 euros. I find a hot meal portion has become very small. The meat, fish, and vegetables you get seem to be no more than 100g. It's a shame that everything has become more expensive over the years while the portions have gotten smaller. Double inflation.

The food was excellent, hot, and tasted fresh. However, delivery took over two hours longer than anticipated. After contacting the customer service, they promised to add something extra to the order, which ultimately didn't happen.

Worst sushi experience ever. Several parts of the order were not delivered, and phone contact was pointless. These kinds of companies should be banned. Once, but never again.

We paid a fortune for two half-warm croquettes and two sandwiches, with no other garnish. I wish I'd read the reviews before our visit. It happens regularly. And unfortunately, they don't learn from it. The staff is friendly! But they'll never see the four of us again.

This is the second time I've placed a takeout order here, and again, the prices are wrong. They're very unclear about the exact price. You see a price per kilo, but the final price seems to be much higher. Two skewers cost me €30, which I can't believe. For two people, I paid €124, while it should normally be €60–80. It's not a pleasant or reliable experience. I won't be coming here again anytime soon and advise others to be very careful.
